Awesome place for small kids to learn about sea turtles. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable.
The volunteers are always helpful and informative. There is always a lot to learn and i love observing the turtles.
Awesome place! They do amazing work here rescuing and rehabilitating turtles found injured in the area. The staff was very helpful friendly and knowledgeable. If your in the area it's a must see!
Very experienced and knowledgeable staff, small entry donation recommended, hosts sea turtle watches and helps hundreds of turtles daily. Wonderful place!
Great for kids and adults. Very informative. And it's all free.
Very educational for all ages. Interactive activities.
The volunteers are great, answering questions and detailing the challenges turtles have in the modern world.
It's a fantastic place that gives back to the community. If you want to support them please consider making a donation or a purchase in their gift shop.
We have been going there once or twice a year for many years, now with a toddler as well. It is so exciting to see the turtles up close, and moving to read their stories. It's a great place for any age to stop in and view some cool turtles, and learn about ocean life. We get presents for many family members in the shop. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon. I highly recommend this place.
Great for kids, tourists, and anyone with a thirst for knowledge about South Florida's Natural Habitat. Beautiful Hiking Trails!!!
So educational and you get so close to the turtles.
Brought some family to visit the Loggerhead Marine Life Center in which we purchased the behind the scenes tickets in advance. We were able to go behind the roped area and get closer to the turtles that are rehabilitating. Enjoyed the more informed tour and learned all about the turtles. Would definitely recommend for all ages
Was able to get very close to the turtles, staff was helpful and very informative. Along with being kind and caring to the turtles they were also very polite to us.
Great turtle rescue! Lots of activities for the kids! Small but nice.
My kids love to go to "the turtle place." The staff and volunteers and very friendly and helpful.
Have 2 hours to experience something fun and educational? Indoor and outdoor facility with live "events" featuring the wildlife. Fun for all ages.
Loggerhead was so cool! They have tanks with turtles that are recovering in them. The table have windows in the side so the turtles are way to see. They also have volunteers that will tell you about the turtles and how they were rescued.
It's also free, which is a pretty great perk. They have a suggested donation of $5, if you want to contribute.
Took my 3 year old, loved every second of it! He got to get super close to see all the sea turtles.
Super nice place.
it's free but you can donate to help with their funding.
It's to do.
Love visiting when I'm in town. Friendly staff and clean exhibits. Love the gift shop
Best place to learn about sea turtles in the country
A wonderful experience! Love taking my nieces to see the turtles and we never leave without a great gift from the gift shop.
What an awesome place. If you love turtles this is a place to check out. From babies hatching to big older turtles who need some care. We saw a turtle getting an IV while we were there. The employees and volunteers are truly dedicated to these beautiful marine creatures. Great educational experience for young and old. Highly recommend.
Great way to spend a an afternoon. Very knowledgeable staff that really cares about their work!
Stopped here to kill time on the way to the Airport to go back home to Ohio. Breezed thru the museum and outdoor tank area in about 45 minutes but wish I could have stayed longer. I would reserve 2 hours to take your time with the small museum, see the turtles, and finish with the gift shop. Maybe call and ask if they have a tour and book even more time. Nice modern clean facility doing good for the turtles!
Great view and pavilions, not enough parking on weekends and holidays.
Excellent place to check out- my daughter loved seeing the turtles up close and they have the CUTEST gift shop!
Come.see.resuced turtles and hatchlings! Gift shop. Free admission but a donation is recommended, it helps the turtle hospital!
Great place to take the family! Although it seems a little small, it's amazing what this place does. They rehabilitate sea turtles and release them to hatch babies on the shore which is the only place in the world besides somewhere in Jordan (and who knows what they do for the turtles). The gift shop also has some wonderful gifts. I would definitely recommend!
Great experience and a great place to bring your family.
This is a must see stop if your in the area. Very informative information on different turtle species and issues the turtles come across. The rehabbing turtles are out in tanks for the public to see and the stories on each one are interesting to read. This is a free destination and donations are welcomed.
It was so amazing! We saw a turtle get rescued and someone was telling us about this place so we decided to head on over and see what it was. It was so much fun. They also have an amazing gift shop.
Dedicated people, an interesting place and a well-equipped hospital for this mission. Small visit fee: $ 5
Can see turtle's in big tanks. Has gift shop and snacks. Has big sea aquariums.
Now, there is a lot of construction. So, not as many turtles as usual. However, still amazing informative volunteers. The work they do restorative to injured turtles, and is helping to preserve the turtle population!!
My husband and I loved learning about the turtles, but there isn't much to see let alone do. Only takes up about 30-45 minutes of your day, and that was stretching it. Totally free and great education on how human pollution is truly ruining our marine life
Loved all the awesome stuff they are doing to save the turtles
Wonderful learning experience great to share with visitors from out of town
A great service to the community, caring for and returning turtles to the sea. On top of that they are extremely visitor friendly, offering both public and private tours. Visiting here was the highlight of a recent trip to Florida for my kids. I can't recommend it strongly enough. I've also heard great things about their camp experience.
Rescued sea turtles, up close and personal. Fantastic gift shop, fun learning experience, knowledgeable staff. Always worth the visit.
Such a wonderful place to visit, so much to learn and who doesn't love seeing sea turtles up close when you know they will be returned to the ocean as soon as they are well?!
Awesome place to see Loggerhead turtles etc. The center is not too big, but very nice place to come visit. The gift shop has so many good items to buy!
I love this place, every time we visit family in Florida I make it a priority to stop by and see the new turtle patients. They do amazing work.
Great place. Does amazing things for sea turtles and the environment.
Loved the super cute sea turtles. Our guides were awesome and knowledgeable. I know much more about protecting turtles now.
So worth visiting! First of all, they are treating TONS of turtles in the many viewing tanks, and not just loggerheads, but also leatherbacks and greens. My favorite were the baby turtles. Besides seeing cute turtles, I enjoyed learning from the exhibits about the ecological problems affecting them. It has made me think about ways to reduce disposable plastics in my life. I'm rooting for the turtles!
These people are doing a wonderfull thing please come and support them.
A fun "free" place to visit. Donations are suggested. We were asked about masks for our almost 2 year olds, but as they aren't yet two they were not required. We saw many turtles in tanks, one receiving a shot, and another in surgery. Very interesting! Kids played on the little animal statues in the play area. We spent about 2 hrs visiting. All visitors were required to wear masks whether in or out of doors.
What a great facility. Loggerhead MarineLife Center is doing something really great and they are sharing it with the public!
Loggerhead offers educational exhibits with their current patients (Sea Turtles) and lets the public come in and look around, you cannot touch the animals which is great, but you and your little ones will be able to observe these beautiful creatures.
The center has a small educational aquarium, outdoor turtle exhibits, play area, animal hospital viewing area, and is located by a large playground, and at the beach, it is a great family site. I really loved that we also saw a wild gopher turtle while leaving the beach!
Please make sure you donate before you leave!
Excellent work that every day make to recover turtles
A turtle hospital. Very informative, unfortunately there were no kids activities when we were there, more likely to be logged in with a group. Nevertheless interesting and worth supporting.
Loggerhead is working very hard to save the sea turtles of the Florida area and their facility is such an awesome place to visit. Thank you for caring for these amazing animals and returning them to the wild.
Nice facility, lots of free things to see, staff is very helpful. Be sure to register online before you go to get included in the free guided tour.
World class turtle rehab. Learn the stories of how this little gem became world famous by adapting medical techniques to turtles. $5 donation requested but there is no pressure, stop in for a few minutes. Lots of parking. Beach access.
Extremely impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and how close you can get to the turtles. It s actually a hospital, and you can see how well they take care of each turtle. Highly recommend a visit, especially with kids.
Not much turtles there. But a fun place to take your kids.
Excellent service staff. Informative. A tribute to conservation.
What aka amazing experience, it s a must see location
Awesome place to take kids or even if you like sea turtles. They even have a fishing program to show how to catch and release
Great place to see and learn about sea turtles and their habitats.
Very informative! We did the public tour and learned a lot. Really enjoyed all the hatchlings!
Absolutely love this place and what they are doing! Got to watch them release the baby sea turtles to the ocean and it was an amazing experience! I had 5 of the baby turtles walk over my feet to get to the ocean ! The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the turtles and very informative!
They are doing a great job of helping to save turtles, also helping to protecting them.
Great cause and nice to see the injured turtles being taken care if, gift shop as well
Small place, quick visit, lots of experts on hand to answer questions, and the gift shop is lovely!
