Nicolo's Pizza Review

Waited for one hour, and it's cold! $30!
! Wowe, so much for funding our small busines

Usually slow service but today waited 20 min and no one ever came to take our order. We left. It's a shame the food is good.

Service was terrible they were very rude took forever to get a waitress my grandbaby was getting fussy waiting for her food it was not a pleasant experience

A very nice place for pizza and a selection of pastas with good flavor. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit they were out of stock of my favorite beer. My alternate choice was then served barely cool even though a cold glass was requested. A glass of wine ultimately was served plenty chilled.
Our server did her best despite the restaurant's shortcomings that day. I may return hopefully to a well-stocked beer supply and repaired storage cooler.

They forgot our order of cheese mozzarella cheese sticks and wouldn't bring them right back out I would say that I would not go back there the calzones will dry and the stuff inside the calzones weren't mixed right the cheese was all in one glump at one end so I would not go back there

This isn't the fanciest restaurant in town but for what it's supposed to be it's pretty great.

Their pizza was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. Prices are good if you come during happy hour or get a coupon in the mail.

My son and i didn't have a long wait to get a table and the service was friendly and somewhat quick. The cheese sticks were good and tasted homemade. Not the greatest but certainly better than something from a box from the store. The pizza was good. My son had a 7'' cheese and I had one of the first specialty pizza. Mine was good although the bell peppers could have been cooked a bit longer. My son's pizza tasted a bit bland as it needed more sauce and/or cheese.

My husband and I just had their calzones . OMG! They were so big and so good that the competitors can't even touch them.
.We highly recommend you try the calzone they are just that GOOD!!!

Horrible customer service. We used to order here All the time, but after last night we will no longer order here ever again.

I was one of the first employees here when they first opened when I was in high school & I absolutely loved it and still do. Working there, it was like being part of the family and it was a blast to be there. Food was, and still is, amazing. I ended up moving up north but anytime I am in the area, I make it a point to try and stop in. The Renner family is a wonderful family & have always taken very good care of their employees and customers. Even now, a million years later, I keep in touch with all of them and I consider them very dear friends. I had my baby shower and my bridal shower there in their back event room - and I am so glad I did :) I would HIGHLY recommend going there!!!

Ordered a pizza today and my husband but in to a huge share of glass that was baked in to our pizza. His tooth was chipped as a result of their negligence and manager/owner was less than responsive when we brought it to her attention. She was only willing to comp the pizza from our order. Thanks, now we'll need a doctor's visit because of your employee's carelessness. Do not trust this restaurant.

Old School Italian, when they moved from Denver westward in the 60s, 70s and 80s it created a bunch of great Italian neighborhood spots in Wheatridge and Lakewood. This isa place that will hopefully never go out of business.

Pizza crust is plenty thick, even with the "thin" crust. Ingredients are good, red sauce is delicious, lots of good specialty pizza choices.

Haven't tried the pasta but I'm sure I'll be back to try it!

My family really loves this restaurant! It's locally owned with incredible staff. We often see the owner there working which says a lot about character. I even bumped into her at the local grocery store the other day! I can tell they pride themselves on service good food and cleanliness. The prices are really good also. My kids always finish their meals. Their meatballs are delicious and so is the Italian salad dressing, Yum! Lately been on an Italian beef kick and tried it last night... Totally delicious! I will get it again for sure. Thank you Nicolo's for many years of tasty dinners. Keep it up.

Wonderful little pizza shop. Reasonably priced, very good selection of topping and crust. Very good service and friendly staff.

First time ordering from Nicolo's. Pizza was alright. Price was alright. You will need to cut your own pizza. Which was alright I guess. I have never had a pizza delivery you had to cut but ok.
You will want to have some extra sauce on hand.
Might try them again. We will see.

I don't quite understand why this place got such negative reviews. We have ordered one pizza for delivery and just dined in (two different occasions), and on each time, the food and the service were fantastic. We had a 20 inch pepperoni, extra saucy pizza that was delivered on time and was mouth-wateringly delicious. During the dine in, we had an "all but anchovies" calzone and the manicotti dish along with zuccini sticks. Again, service was great, and the food was hands down superb. We will absolutely be returning for more food.

Nicolo's was our go-to place for pizza during our simi-quarantine time. Their pizza is one of our favorites (and we are Pizza connoisseurs.) :D The staff there are efficient, friendly and accommodating.

Best Italian sausage around and my daughter loves the half order spaghetti and meatballs. Pizzas usually good. Crust is different, simple but never greasy which is nice. Tomato sauce is light usually doesn't give me heartburn. Been coming for years now

Hands down the best pizza in Lakewood! Not to mention the lunch specials are such a good deal for the amount of food they serve. Anytime I'm in Lakewood, I make sure I get some pizza here. I would highly recommend!!!

When my Capitol Hill nicolo's location closed about 7/8 months ago I was devastated I've been eating there for 25 years at least. Visited the Lakewood location got my favorite pizza once again. Very pleasant experience

Been eating here since they opened. Best pizza in lakewood for sure. Used for catering when I played football in high school. Service is awesome. I have no complaints toward this establishment... Oh and the beer is cheap, which is of course, the best part. Haha

Loved the pizza here. Very good thick crust! Hard to find good thick crust pizza in Denver. This was 1 of the best I've had ever! All the food is good. I was extremely impressed with everything!

I've been going to Nicolo's for years now and always have an incredible experience. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff is always so friendly.

We ordered a medium pepperoni, black olives, bell pepper and pineapple. They were pleasant on the phone and efficient.

This pizzeria puts the cheese on top of the toppings and we were not used to it. So we did not like it. The crust was good and they do give you ample toppings. We should have looked at the picture of their pizza before we ordered it. Just a personal preference.

If you like your cheese over the toppings on your pizza you will like it!

Excellent breadsticks, pizza and wings, very affordable and family friendly.

Used to eat Nicolos all the time before i moved to Arizona. Was really disappointed in my visit to this location. The hot wings were about the only good that came out of my order. Pizza had zero flavor to it Was almost like eating cardboard. Ordered a Sausage and mushroom large pizza. My pizza had zero sauce and no.mushrooms. maybe I just ordered on a bad night will definitely be back on my next trip to Colorado.

The pizza is delicious, I didn't realize how big an XL pizza was and it barely fit inside of our tiny car but we had leftovers for days. It's a little expensive but so good!

We love Nicolo's! Their pizza and bread sticks are always awesome. It's always a great experience when dining in. We highly recommend.

We love this pizza and the staff is just fantastic. Our order is on time Everytime. We order at least twice to three times a month. They also do catering.

Some of the best pizza that I had eaten in quite some time. I got it delivered and everything arrived quickly and was nice and hot. I tried out the pizza and it was absolutely delicious, the sausage was great. Definitely am going to order again and would recommend anyone to as well!

Great gf crust! Crunchy outside and soft on the inside, never buying Domino's again.
