Pretty good pizza. Thinner crust, but enough to chew. Nice people.

Usually it is very good. The service was still outstanding, but somehow the pizza was not as good as always. I must say the appetizers could have been a bit more. We had the jalapeno poppers and only got 5 small ones. We go there a lot and for some reason tonight was not so good.

Had a Calzone today with pepperoni, sausage mozzarella cheese, and green chilies was very good, and didn't hold back on any of the fixings, it was delicious.

Amazing gluten free pizza. It will bring you back to life. Oh, and they have gf garlic bread too.

My favorite menu item to order is the EBA Calzone. I change it from black to green olives, just a personal preference. Never lets me down, always stuffed full of delicious ingredients. I think there's more pepperoni in it than what you find on most pizzas!

Horrible experience hair baked into the crust of pizza took it back and was only refunded partially!!

Good food and good prices. Their pasta is very good, especially the homemade Italian sausage. The pizza is pretty good, but I'm not in love with their pizza crust. It's ok, just not great. Everything else is very good. Good, smiling, service.

I was super excited to try this bc of the food reviews. Not good at all. The calzone was all hard bread and the inside was bland. Salad wasn t good either :( I wouldn t order here again.

Excellent Italian food, Cal zones are huge and can be made anyway you want. Friendly staff! Definitely the best in Lakewood!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, 8/24/12 AT 6:30 pm REFUSED MY BUSINESS AND TO DELIVER AFTER I HAVE BEEN GETTING MANY ORDERS PRIOR! THE PIZZA HUT DELIVERY DRIVER TOLD ME TO THANK NICOLOS IN LAKEWOOD FOR TURNING DOWN MY BUSINESS, THEY APPRECIATED BEING ABLE TO SERVE! We had been ordering pizza's, wings, and other thing on a regular basis. Recently bought coupons from kids on a fund raiser. On Aug 24th 2012 tried place an order to use the coupons and was told that no one felt like delivering to my house, they were to busy! I will be personally driving out to the store and ask for my money back for the coupon sheet I bought the was misrepresenting of there services. The food was good the poor service over rides any future order's!

Received under cooked pizza and soggy mozzarella sticks that I ordered extra crispy, they didn t give us any toppings for our taco pizza, forgot a soda, and to top it all off they delivered our food to the wrong address. When we called and asked to have forgotten items brought back to the correct address waited 10minutes on hold. This is the second time we have ordered from here and they messed up both orders both times. Definitely never ordering from here again

THIS IS NOT CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA. We specifically told our waitress that we wanted the Chicago style since "Chicago style" is in their name. When we looked at picture on menu, it did not look like Chicago style and even asked waitress about it. We were served thin crust pizza with no Chicago style characteristics. So strange.
Pizza was still ok (which is why 3-star rating) but talk about false advertisement!

Sat there for 15 min , and never got waited on . Restaurant was dead , waitress cleaned off 2 tables , walked out.

I really enjoyed my gluten free pasta and garlic bread.. it was a nice treat and Tracy was absolutely amazing and so helpful! I definitely recommend Nicolo's !

Not and I can't stress this enough.. NOT CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA!! I've been home sick for good food mostly since I moved here from Chicago and was ecstatic to find a place that might have pizza that held up to Chicago standards. Disappointed is an understatement. It wasnt nasty but it was bland, small in portion and simply lacking. To say the least we left still hungry and sad

We have been enjoy Nicolos for years. A while back we ordered a pizza. After 50 minutes of waiting I called to see where our pizza was. the young man said, " It's on the way. After waiting another 45 min. I went and got a pizza. When the Nicolo's drive showed up, 1 hour and 45 minutes later, I told him we didn't think you were coming. We went and got a pizza elsewhere. He acted like we had done something wrong. No Apology from the young man on the phone nor the driver. I understand things go wrong but apologize and make it right. Nocolo's made it very clear they could care less for their customers. We'll never bother them again...

Would rather go to Garramone or Johnny New York Pizza

First of all, I ordered a Chicago style pizza and that is not what arrived.
2nd of all, all the pricing on my receipt is wrong and does not match their website. I was also charged a delivery fee when the website clearly says free delivery on $10+ orders. I was probably only over charged by $2 but it's the principle.
3rd when I called and asked for the manager so I could try and get my order fixed, I was told that no manager would be available for the next hour.
I give up.
The pizza was ok (for being not what I ordered). The mozzarella sticks tasted freezer burnt. The delivery driver was very nice and enthusiastic. The end.

I support this place because it is locally owned but truth be told, their pizza and pasta dishes are nothing special. The sauce for the pizza has no flavor and the pasta dishes are often swimming in too much cheese.

I've come twice, both times I left extremely happy! Fast service, accompanied by quick arrival of my food. I've never been to Chicago, but I can tell you this pizza is better then any pizza I've ever had in New York. SUPER INEXPENSIVE!!! All around a good experience and worth trying!

I have been ordering from Nicolo's since the 90's when I lived on Capitol Hill in Denver. It was my payday "treat" if you will. They opened in Lakewood and I was thrilled! I could now order and show my kids what it is. Outside of tonight I have been pleased...

I paid upwards of 40 dollars and grub hub didn't tip them what I had put in and was accosted by the delivery driver. To add insult, as my sons tried to call him back to tip him, the order I have to assume wasn't even ours. The calzone had green peppers (allergic) and no cheese. I ordered a calzone with pep, sausage and artichoke. That's it. I received meat, olive, onion, peppers, and dry as a bone. My sons ordered were nasty tonight..so much so that teenage boys wouldn't eat them. Teenage boys will eat a couch cushion with ranch on it. Please correct this! I don't want to give up my favorite place to eat.

Chicago style isnt my favorite, but Pretty good pizza. Always look for a coupon, they are always in the mail :)

Their gluten free menu is great! Amazing GF pizza crust texture and they had a variety sizes. Their gf chocolate cake did not disappoint. Hit the spot.

Worst if had in a while!!! Ordered an individual pizza and requested no onions, pizza came back with onions. Okay mistakes happen. They offered to make me another one right away and said it would be a couple of minutes, once the new pizza came i was ready to dig in as my friends were but upon taking the first bite it was discustingly greasy. I asked about their food and they said it was a bit greasy also. For a 7" pizza i would almost say they soak their ingredients in grease. HORRIBLE!!! If your in the area your better off eating at wendys across the parking lot.

I like Nicolo's. Usually not too busy for lunch. Can get in and out quickly. Food is always good.

We like the pizza and calzones, we order often for delivery.We have found that one of the young girls that answers the phone there, can't seem to get our orders correct or even remember to come back to the phone after placing us on hold for 12 mins while we listen to her answering the other lines and taking other orders that called after us...Very frustrating to say the least.

Food was good but the half size of the pepperoni and meatball lasagna was too small it was more like a quarter rather then a half order

Nicolo's is great! I've been ordering delivery for almost 2 years. They are always polite and quick on the phone, and the delivery drivers have been prompt and courteous. The EBA pizza is wonderful. Salads are always crisp and fresh, and the house Italian dressing is zippy and delicious. I don't understand the negative reviews at all, but I'd say try them again!

When looking at this place you dont really know what to expect. But once you walk in its definitely a mom and pop kind of place. We were greeted given menus and asked to sit wherever we like. Looking over the menu you definitely have a couple options pizza, wings, calzones, salads, you know the basics.The wings are baked but super yummy! Definitely recommend! We got a large EBA pizza super yummy (the crust man it was good) was quick didnt wait for too long. Our waitress was very attentive overall had a good time. Will be back soon!

Incredibly bad service. Food was sitting on done counter 20 minutes before they gave it to me. Then the order was wrong and they wouldn't do anything to try to make things right.

I got Eggplant Parmigiana and Pesto Chichen pizza (take out). I found the pizza to be bland and tastes less, with Eggplant was the same they where over priced and it take for ever to get my food .

I'm giving it a 5 star for the excellent service Leanne gave but the food quality has changed not for the betta either bring it back to what it used to be

Been here twice. 1st time with my daughter, and we order the pizza lunch special. Pizza was delicious and service was great. Waiter was friendly and and provided great service.

2nd time, we ordered take out for me and the food critic husband . Pepperoni and meatball Lasagna, garlic cheese bread, and Chocolate cake. Omg... They food was delicious. My food critic husband did not have one negative comment about the food. He said I made a great choice for dinner. We will be returning.

A CO WORKER RECOMMENDED THAT I TRY AN CALZONE, SO I THOUGHT GREAT SINCE THEY ARE LOCATED RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM MY JOB. I ORDERED AN HOUR BEFORE MY LUNCH. THINKINIG THAT WOULD BE PLENTY OF TIMIE TO ENJOY MY HALF HOUR LUNCH, IT TOOK THEM AN INTIRE HOUR TO DELIEVER BECAUSE THE DRIVER COULD NOT FIND MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND IM LITERALLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM NICOLOS PIZZA, AND MY ORDER WHICH WAS A COMPLETTE MESS.THE MARINARA SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE SIDE WAS ACTUALLY ON THE TOP, IT WAS SPILLED IN THE BAG THE CALZONE WAS IN AND THE BAG ITSELF WAS TORN OPEN AND SATURATED WITH MARINARA SAUCE, IT LOOKED UNAPPEALING AND JUST NASTY. I POLITLEY EXPLAINED TO THE DRIVER THAT I DID NOT WANT THE ORDER IN THE CONDITON IT WAS IN, SO I TOLD HIM TO RETURN IT AND I WOULD CALL NICOLOS PIZZA FOR A REFUND. Some really good St. Louis style pizza and it's cut in squares like it should be. You can order a number of specialty pizzas or make your own from the wide ranging ingredients list. The restaurant also has your normal pizza place food standards; chicken wings, bread sticks, cheesy garlic bread and salads. I recommend the home made Italian dressing if you get a salad.

Been going to this restaurant for years. One of the best pizzas in Lakewood. The staff is always super friendly and attentive, place is always clean, and you can't beat their lunch specials.

The boneless chicken with the dipping sauce are addictive! The lasagna and garlic bread were delicious. Prices are a tad high, but the food and service were worth it. We go here every time we visit an Arc Thrift Store off Alameda.

Tried calling for pickup. First call: "please hold", sets phone down so I can hear everything. Waited almost 10 minutes before deciding to hang up and try again. The phone was then busy for several minutes. Finally got thru, second call: "please hold" , sets phone down without even asking if I CAN or WILL hold, just assumed and put the phone down. Now the line is busy again.

Being from Chicago, I can assure you, I'd a restaurant had service like this they would be out of business in a week.

Also, 85% of pizza consumed in Chicago is not thin crust, as your half baked Web site indicates. Deep dish is chicago style. This is not open to debate by someone trying to capitalize on a market. We need a REAL chicago style pizza restaurant in lakewood.

I lived in Golden Co. I would travel all the way to downtown Denver to pick up pizza from Nicolos. It so convenient now that there is one in Lakewood. I've always had great service. Nice little local place. Pizza is great

Thick crust tasted like bread not pizza crust. I mean it was bread. Not pizza crust. Chewy, bland, and almost inedible on the edges as it was merely folded over itself twice on the edge to make it "thick crust". I think it was rolled or pounded out. Definitely not tossed. Worst crust I've ever had and I'm from NY and have eaten a ton of pizza in the past 40 years. Minimal sauce. No oil indicating higher quality cheese, but man was it dry. Toppings were dry. Hell the whole thing was dry. Time to revisit the drawing board on your methods Nicolo.

The pepperoni pizza had very few pepperoni on it and the eggplant parmigian was blamed and very little sauce also the Alfredo had very little sauce. All in all will never eat there again the food was awful.

Wth this isn't pizza. The chicken parm noodle dish sucks and looks sloppy. The BBQ chicken pizza was horrible. Bread was hard, little bbq sauce and overall everything seemed like it was cooked in the microwave. Dominos and pizza hut is way better. Never coming back and on top of that, I had a horrible stomach ache after eating here.

It wasn't anything special. Just pizza, i really didn't like the way they made nor baked the pizza. It wasn't authentic NY pizza as they claim to be.

generally good pizza but i ordered a chicken parm sandwhich and it came with pre molded chicken patties... disgusting imo. 8 dollar wasted. i also specifically asked for blue cheese and got ranch

I am from Chicago I know Chicago style pizza this is some of the best pizza around it made me feel homesick when my pie showed up at my door wrapped in a paper bag like they used to do it. Keep up the good work guys.

Nice service and good full glass of chardonnay, but the eggplant parmesan was awful. Soggy, flavorless and pasta overcooked with tomato sauce instead of marinara.

Ordered a couple of pizzas on Sunday evening when we had company over. Was quoted 40 minutes and after an hour and a half I finally called to ask where pizza was the young lady on the phone said she could not find our order but it should be on the way to our house she then stated she would call me back. She called back only to tell me that the driver was indeed on his way to our house. By this time it was 830, I told her to go ahead and just cancel the order it was too late. No apology, no I m sorry, no saying she would credit us for our next time we ordered no saying she would not charge us for the already late order we placed she just rudely said OK and hung up. Very poor customer service will not be ordering from them again.

This is not only not Chicago style pizza ... It's just not good pizza by any standards. I went to one downtown a few years ago and had a decent deep dish pie. What I got yesterday was like a Boboli. Cracker crust, no taste ... There's a garlic knots right down the street that has better options. 2 stars because at least the service was good. But if you think this is decent pizza, you haven't had much pizza.

Friendly and attentive service, great atmosphere, good prices and the pizza was delicious! Also had a calzone which was just as delicious but the cheese to fillings ratio was off- more cheese throughout and it would ve been better. Crust on both the pizza and calzone were great though! Not Chicago style but delicious none the less. I would definitely go again the next time I m in the area!

Nicolo's is a great local place for excellent pizza. Three places in Denver stand out for their pizza; Virgilio's, Abo's and Nicolo's. For the price, Nicolo's wins hands down. Plus they have other items on the menu, such as their lasagna, which is exceptional. And, I have to say, the service we got when we dined in was surprisingly good. The server was very sweet and the food arrived quickly.

Very impressed! This place has some of the best pizza you will find. The wings are also amazing! We always get our orders delivered and they always show up sooner than expected. Highly recommend!!
