Beautiful architecture. Definitely one of the best in the city!

The place was rather cold for us. We drove fast again.

By far the best capitol building we've visited thus far. We plan to see all 50 in the US.

This was my first time in Albany at the State Capitol. We went to try and talk to Lawmakers regarding the Upcoming meeting in June with landlords and Tenants about rent increases. It is a nice Building with a lot of interesting features to see.

Beautiful state capital. It has amazing stairs on each side of the building so it is great to get different pictures around the structure. I was not able to go in, but looking thru the doors it was even beautiful. I was there in the fall so there were a few trees that were turning colors. Easy to explore the rest of the area from there.

The capital in New York has historic beauty, it is a must see at least once. The assembly and Senate chambers are lovely and were refreshed in the last 5 years. If you want to see the people's house visit the capital in New York

Breathtaking architecture, great place for adults and kids alike, staff was friendly and informative, a lot to see, nice gardens outdoors

Take the tour of the Capitol Bldg and go to the top of Corning Tower. All free.

Ok, but seriously, skip all the other stuff and take/ get a tour if this beautifully restored architectural gems. Kinda makes Albany a place to really want to visit!

Beautiful building with a highly comprehensive tour for public visitors. The tour goes over history, state functions, and other various topics and encompasses the legislative session rooms as well as the governors press room and other high task areas. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the city.

I absolutely love Albany the architecture and layout of the city with attention to detail is beautiful the Statehouse absolutely captivating it's part architectural Wonder Part Museum and then an absolutely functioning Steakhouse

I felt in love with Albany i'm planning on moving there hopefully next Fall in 2020.

There is nothing like the only State Capitol without a dome. The restoration has been perfect. It is truly one of a kind, and I'm proud to have had the privilege of working in the building. The free tour is worth it.

Beautiful state capitol. If I am not wrong they are similar to state house; please correct me if wrong. Assuming I am correct I am sorry NY people MA state house get +1 vote that yours for it s beautiful golden dome

An old quarter area with old dutch style architecture and easy access to the egg and the plaza. tons of beautiful architecture in this small historic area.

This are those place usually international tourist don't come and are very interesting. A must to see and learn about

Astonishing historical building with eclectic architectural features. The detail in the Stone work is worthy of many hours of study. It appears to be an engineering marvel as well, built entirely of masonry. To bad the public is not allowed to see everything there, as it is still a working governmental structure.

Absolutely stunning building. The architecture is like nothing I've ever seen. Love visiting and walking the halls and seeing the different floors. Always a pleasure seeing lawmakers too!

The building is very beautiful but I could only see it from the outside because I visited the city on a holiday.

What a beautiful building! Just took the very fun haunted capital tour!

Lots of amazing details went into the capitol building. It is a good architectural visit and see how the various architects created their vision over the very long time it took to build the capitol. Do the guided tour and also do the self-tour to get the most out of your visit there. There are so many things to look at and discover, plan to be there for at least 4 hours to discover as much as possible.

I didn t expect the New York State Capitol to be so luxurious and amazing

Truly one of the best. We did a self guided tour, and listened to the audio on the smartphone.

The stench of corruption burns the eyes and throat....

At long last I got to see where all my tax dollars went!

Once we got through the traffic, we had to seek out a parking space... That took awhile and then we had to park 2 miles away. We were in "The Egg" for a convention. Clean and well layed out. At one point we were on the Legislative staircase, then had to check out the "Million-Dollar Staircase" and seek out the little carving of the devils' face. Good for a visit. Glad I don't live there.

Security and tour desk are top notch but experiences in the offices left some to be desired because I felt like I was viewed as a dumb kid

The capitol building has great architecture and good looking.

Pretty building but the fences around the outside make it an eye sore. I know we have to be safe but I think there is better options

NYS Capitol in Albany. Great for sightseeing, 18th and 19th Century House Quarters,Quaint atmosphere, lovely town to visit and raise your children

This is a beautiful, complex space. Lots of little details everywhere.

Beautiful historic place where State legislators come together to create legislation that governs our ways of life and social construct. It's an incredibly breathtaking architectural place worth visiting.
