If you need parts, go to another dealer . One less customer!

I bought a new motorcycle about a month ago at New York Motorcycle. I am very pleased with the purchase. The salesman Jay was very helpful through the whole process. He answered all my questions, helped me get a great discount on clothing and accessories in the parts department. It's refreshing to know that even after the sale is made, you can still count on him to be there when problems or concerns relating to the bike surface.
There was a problem with the fuel gauge reading on the bike and I spoke to the service department about it and they told me they were going to contact Kawasaki about it and call me. I waited a few days and decided to call them and they told me the same thing, (that they were going to call Kawasaki). This happened three times and now I am thinking that they are giving me the runaround. Finally I get the call back the third time and they said they called Kawasaki and that they were working to resolve the problem. I explained that I was dissatisfied with the way I was given the runaround and was offered an apology. Although at the beginning of the encounter with the service department was not good, at the end they turned out to be nice guys, thank you.

If your like me that read reviews about anything before buying, I can tell this is a great place to purchase a motorcycle, make sure you ask for the salesman Jay, he is a great guy.

I went in to look at a new fz1 (2012) with my wife to hopefully purchase this spring.. met with Jay, he got me financed and out the door for a better price than I have seen anywhere else... great to be riding this new machine in the NY Autumn. couldn't be more pleased.

I bought a Ninja 300 here not too long ago and was helped by Joey, fantastic service and man what a friendly guy. The staff is very courteous and helpful and they make you feel like family here, highly recommend it!

First time reviewer here, literally of anything I have ever purchased. But after visiting several shops in New York and New Jersey, I had to write this to show my respect for New York Motorcycle and the staff. I was working with Slim who was great to work with. I knew exactly what I wanted, he made it happen. I was also working with another guy who's name I did not learn for the financing, and same deal: he politely came and found me in the back wandering around to give me updates as I waited for the paperwork to go through. No hard sell here, just knowledgable guys. Slim was the only one to give me actual specifics on the bike I was buying- details specific to that model that none of the other shops told me about. I was looking for a specific bike so I talked to all of the shops about this model, some of them had no real idea- I guess a dual sport isn't exactly the most desired type here in NYC. Thanks guys!

I found out about New York Motorcycle because I bought a Groupon for a Linhai scooter. I'm very glad I did. I came into the shop for the first time and met Vincent the manager who was very friendly and accommodating. My Groupon number didn't show up immediately, but he took down all the necessary information and explained the process of getting the vehicle ready. He got back to me within a couple of days telling me that everything was sorted out and I could come back at any time to finalize the paperwork and get the scooter. I had many questions and he was always prompt to respond by email.

The second time I came back he wasn't in, so a salesman Mike helped me out. He was very helpful and got right up to speed with my situation. He helped me process my insurance (which was my first time and is not the most straightforward process) and sort out all other paperwork as well as picking out a helmet. There was a minor issue with not having the right license plate available, so he offered to process the paperwork with the DMV and let me know when the plate was in. Then he and Vincent arranged to have the scooter delivered to my place once it was all ready, so I didn't have to be inconvenienced to come out again since I live over an hour from the shop.

Overall, a great shop and great customer service from the two people I had the pleasure to interact with. Check this place out.

New York Motorcycle has provided me with many motorcycles over the years. This time, I have to praise Dean for such a great job! He listened to what I wanted in a motorcycle, and after much discussion, placed me on a new FZ1 which I love! He steered me away from many decisions that could have been bad ones, and helped out every step of the way. Not one problem did I encounter. Dean was on top of the deal, a great one at that. I highly recommend Dean as the #1 salesman at NY Motorcycle! Thank you, Dean!

It was a very good buying experience from these guys. I bought Ninja 1000 on 5/17/2014. I called up and asked about the availability and pricing of the motorcycle I was interested in, Dean (sales) answered and he gave all the info I requested and he wanted me to visit the store to look at the bike. Although they didn't have the color I wanted in the store, I was shown the similar model. Spent less than an hour and I had bought my bike! I would recommend this dealership for motorcycle shopping. They have good pricing and also good sales staff. Dean helped out with the required accessories and explained all the paperwork in detail. All together I am happy with my buying experience with these guys and i would recommend NY motorcycle!

I finance a 2017 z900 leftover. I liked the bike since it was my first bike in 13yrs. Salesman didn t want to give me a better price but said, they don t charge freight on bike but they did. Almost 4 month past, I outgrew the bike so I went back to them n said I wanna trade my bike for zx10r, what can you do?. He said he ll give me 5k n he ll give me the zx10r for 13+k plus tax. Well it came out to well over 18k. So I went to another dealer in Brooklyn. I new the guys at prospect Yamaha as I bought a bike there years ago. They called the same bank that ny motorcycle did. While I was at prospect the other dealer found out and started calling and calling. They called a few times until I decided to answer. Now they wanted to give me a better price plus said they ll give me free stuff. Well I decided to deal with prospect they had 2019 n 2018 zx10r. Although ny motorcycle matched there price prospect also went lower, I decided to go with 2018 zx10r for really good deal. Prospect is not a bad place to buy buy if they would ve gave me a good deal from the beginning, I wouldn t have gone to another dealer.

Best dealer, buy my first bike here, Arnold and Nav is the guy you want to go with, they really friendly and will take care of you! Give 10 star if I can!!!

Poor service - repaired tube for $150 without removing the nail! Nearly killed me when it blew out the second time a few days later. They also don't answer the phone in the service department.

Would've been 5 star but that tire rim warranty is the blow. Just make sure the threads aren't to low before you need it.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. John Schultzy was very professional in delivering the kind of bike I want. I bought a used Yamaha Boulevard as a starter bike. They told me all I needed to know about how to take care of it and what I needed to do to maintain it. Service was great. I will definitely do business with them again.

The were to do an oil change on my m109r they stripped the bolt out of the oil pan and never told me.. until I got on the highway and started spill oil. Went back to them and the parts manager said it was like that when I gave it to the then change his story about how the mechanic forgot to tell me it stripped during the oil change...cost me $500.00 dollar went a better shop POWERHOUSE MOTORCYCLE and they fixed it. I will never go back to N.Y. motorcycle again

Let me tell u about New york motorcycle this shop is the best in business. Huge shop with a great selection of jet-skis, motorcycles, and other vehicles... Once a year they have a jet-ski demo which is great if you're in the market to buy one..Vincent (manager) is a best guy to deal with and Slim is the best salesman ! I purchased 2 wave runners vx I couldn't ask for a better deal , Vincent help me out with my trailer and explain me every detail .
If you are ready to buy your first bike or jetski, u should go check the shop before u making a decision in the other dealers. Thank you guys for the great deal just great shop !!

I came into the shop because of the high reviews and I will leave a 5 star review myself. I got an awesome deal on a used 2013 Ninja 300 in black for a great price and the deal got sweeter with each time I visit the shop. The representative, Jay, was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the motorcycle. As I was heading out the door, Jay surprised me with the fact that my motorcycle has LoJack installed with early warning system which made my great deal an amazing deal. Thanks Jay, thanks New York Motorcycle! I'll be come back for my future motorcycle need.

I've been getting my bikes serviced here since 1992. This spring I purchased my second bike from New York Motorcycle. They gave me a fair deal but the best part is that they are all men of their word. They didn't play games with fees. They gave me one number that included everything and delivered everything they promised. I couldn't recommend every salesperson, service tech, and the parts department more. I wish more dealers were like this.

I bought a ninja 650 from this place and my experience here was great. The sales guy that helped me out name is Jay and he was the best salesman I ever encountered. He really knows how to make you feel comfortable and really knows the information that you really need in order to make a good purchase. I would recommend this place to everyone...you can't go wrong if you are looking to buy a bike.

I recently purchased a new 2013 Ninja 650 from NY Motorcycle. The overall experience was very good; got a great deal and great service after making the purchase and before pickup. After calling other dealerships who did not have some new models I was interested in in their showrooms, I reached out to these guys and got connected to Dean in sales who said they had what I was looking for. He was very helpful upon arrival.

I was frustrated by the attention to detail from some of the staff: I had done a lot of research on OEM and aftermarket parts for the 650 finding very limited options, and to my surprise during my first visit the staff promised that a rack mount and top case were available for the 2013. However, when I returned to finalize the purchase, a closer look when I actually wanted to select the parts showed that this was not true. At points some of the staff seemed disinterested in helping me solve what I was after.

However, upon meeting the manager, he promised that they would seek the parts and help figure out how to get a rack mounted. The manager was very impressive and sealed the deal for the purchase (five stars)! I ended up finding options for a rack mount that would require minor modifications, frame sliders, and lowering link, which I shipped to them for install. In the end it was probably a better deal for me than overpriced manufacturers parts (that don't exist).

Ultimately, I got great service to get what I wanted. During the week of final sale I was very impressed with the attention I received from Dean. We corresponded daily on the status of the parts, what custom modifications would be needed for the rack mount, and they worked hard to get me rolling a week later and out the door with a new bike! I was expecting I may have to chase status updates, but that was not the case; I felt Dean was on top of it and he'd reach out to me to let me know if they were on track. Very happy with assembly and the modifications required for the rack mount; I've observed no issues (except for a loose turn signal wire, which was a cinch to fix).

Overall, I am very pleased with NY Motorcycle and plan on going out of my way to have service from them. I recommend asking for Dean in sales, and if you get a chance to meet the manager, you will be impressed! The only thing that holds me back from an 'five stars' rating is the unimpressive parts experience. Otherwise, I am more than happy with my new purchase!

I was looking for a battery for my motorcycle and they had it in stock, and at a great price.

Just bought a KLR 650. The salesman Jason ("Jay") made the whole process relatively care free. It was honestly the best experience that I've ever had buying a vehicle from a salesman. Jay is definitely a go to guy.

Left my bike here for service and I was told it would be about a week before they looked at it, 3-4 weeks later with me calling every weekend they haven't even looked at the bike and when I finally get frustrated with them they finally want to look at it the next day, this is unacceptable and they kept giving me excuses it's busy meanwhile I could've went somewhere else and they promised me 2-3 days to look at it, then I proceed to ask for a manger and was left on hold for 8 minutes until they hung up the line, I called back for the same employee to tell me the manager isn't in today and he could've said that the first time around without wasting more of my time

Great customer service... Service prices are pricy yet it is an official dealership...

Called up for a price on a motorcycle. Told me i have to come in to find out a price. Told them im two hours away still didn't care. Cant discuss pricing on the phone like everyother dealership does in the world. Would give 0 stars if i could. All the 5 star reviews on here are fake accounts from the staff.

I purchased a brand new 2014 ZX-10R. Excellent experience. Dean the salesman was very helpful and accommodating. The manager Vincent was terrific and gave me a great deal. Their parts department was wonderful when I purchased accessories for my bike. I would definitely purchase from them again!

Just wanted to say thank you to New York motorcycle, the staff was phenomenal. A huge thank you to Jay for getting my husband everything he wanted and for helping me surprise him with it. He LOVES his new Kodiak 700 EPS so do I lol!!!

They really took care of us and definitely look out for law enforcement!! They waited for us even though they were supposed to be closing they went above and beyond.

I just purchased a brand new kawasaki brute force 750 EPS, it was always out of my price range with all the fees and nonsense all these dealers charge until jay called me with a offer i couldnt refuse... He had it ready for me that day, Jay and Jack beat everyones prices and where great people to work with. I deffently would recomed them to anybody looking to purchase a great new toy! Without a doubt hands down one of the best dealers around. No nonses no hidden fees.. Everything straight foward

I live in the area so I just walked in to NY Motorcycle back in 2005 when I first started riding. I've been a loyal customer ever since. I've since bought three new motorcycles from them. A Kawasaki ZX-6R, Yamaha R1, and Kawasaki Concours 14. First off, they are kind and courteous, unlike other dealerships in the area. They are honest and straight forward, which is what I appreciate most about them. I have always been able to buy my bikes at a fair price that made me happy, and the negotiations have been pleasant and professional. My latest bike was sold to me by Mike (great guy). Also, when you need service, they take care of you. You set up an appointment, and you'll have your bike back quickly. They also price match when it comes to parts, and can get you anything you want. Overall the place is just great and I can't recommend it high enough.

I have bought 3 (three) motorcycles in this same dealer, and I have to say, even though ownership has changed and the new General Manager (J) is a great professional and person, I am back...and the main reason is for my loyalty to the Service Manger JOHN HAVERLIN, who is simply a fantastic professional, with many qualities, but mostly his honesty and integrity makes customer feel honored in owing a motorcycle from his shop.

I am very honored and will always come back.

I just recently purchased a Yamaha Stryker from sales rep Jay and I'm very happy with it. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating.

I would give this place 0 starts if I could. I bought a bike here in August and had nothing but problems with the bike, after being given the run around to fix the bike I gave in and got my credit card people involved... they decided in my favor and the bike was returned to the dealership. Now the dealership is stating they don t have the bike and want to take me to court to get money out of me for a bike they took back over 2 months ago. I wish I could save you the trouble, stay away! This was a very sad first bike experience. They even came to my house trying to threaten me. And charged my credit card with out my consent a second time to try and get free money from me since they already had the bike back. I now have to put security cameras around my house and an alarm system in case they try to break into my house. My mom is old and I don t trust these people are like thugs. Money hungry monsters!

These guys apparently have more business than they know what to do with, so I let them be and went to a hungrier dealer. I came in on Saturday, April 22nd, my bank pre-approval burning a hole in my pocket. I had decided on what I wanted as my first bike, a Kawasaki Versys 650, and was looking for dealers near me in the NY/NJ area with good reviews for after-sales service.

New York Motorcycle was well-reviewed and had the bike I wanted, so I stopped by the showroom at about 9:30. It wasn't crowded, but nobody noticed me for about 10 minutes. One of the techs (I think he was a tech) said hi as he passed, and there was a guy sitting at a desk looking at his phone, apparently bored. I waited another five minutes, talking loudly with my friend about which motorcycle I was interested in buying, but nobody felt the urge to come and take my money. I left.

Very easy to due business with, delivered my ATV promptly and courteously.

Would due business with them again, would highly recommend them to any of my friends or business contacts.

Years ago I put a $ 1000.00 deposit down on my dream toy a new wave runner! Unfortunately I lost my job and couldn't afford it. Went back many times asking for my deposit back they never returned it just jerked me around. I was disappointed and surprised. That dealership has been around for decades and has a good reputation. Buying a new bike this spring from anyone but them !

Shop around. Don't buy here first. They kept my $100 deposit I left for a bike which I bought for much less in another dealer. Went back for my deposit and he said no because of the contract. I asked if I could use the deposit to buy a helmet and the owner said no. That was good business keeping my money. What do you call some one who keeps your money for nothing? Shop around first and you will see.

Excellent service over the phone and in person. Someone is always there to assist you and answer questions. No pressure to make a purchase and got help picking out the right fit for me. Made my first bike purchase a smooth process. Accessory shop next door is great as well. The service there is also helpful and friendly. Only recommend investing in a better seating area for guests who come with a customer and a water cooler since people may be in the shop for a while. Thank you again for making my bike purchase a smooth experience and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a motorcycle!

This is a good motorcycle shop, I have been here a couple of times and they are helpful with answering your questions and giving you insight. I had originally left a positive review because everything seemed to have went fine until I found out that there was a lot of careless time consuming mistakes that took place.

They are looking to educate you about your bike, its mechanics and upgrades while offering you their patience with the options you have.
The problem is there wasn't an understanding on the opposite end which led me to deal with countless phone calls and issues. There needs to be more employees and better communication on their end.
I shouldn't feel like I'm doing other people's job.

I will continue to use them as my go to shop as long as there's a clear understanding of what needs to be done.

I just picked up my new 2015 Kawasaki ZX10R, man she's a beauty!!!.Awesome experience with the crew of New York Motorcycle! Jay from sales is the man to see if you need a bike. The guy is to the point and works with you in order to give you the best deal. The service department and sales department are on point to say the least. Recently purchased a new Kawi Ninja 636 from Jason @ NY Motorcycle. Process was effortless and a pleasure. Jason got me on the machine I wanted and for an amazing price. NY Motorcycle has a great bunch of guys working there and mechanics as well so service is never a guessing game. Even though there are other dealers on the island I'm super happy I made my final decision with NY Motorcycle. The salesmen are more like regular guys that are super friendly and work with you, they don't work on you to make a sale. They stock a lot of bikes and in different colors and styles to help any indecisive buyers. The parts guys also were extremely helpful and go out of their way to get you the parts you want at a great price. All in all, great experience. They also set up group track days for loyal friends and customers. Can't wait to start riding!!

STAY AWAY! Horrible dealer! $895 Freight Fee - $75 Dealer Paperwork Preparation Fee. They list low prices on sites to lure buyers and rip them off. Stay away!

Made in China about a month ago after the putting 54 miles on it I out grew it
so I bought it back to
Jack at NY motorcycle to try and trade it in for something a little bigger. I saw a great Italian 250CC bike I asked Jack how much am I going to loose on the week old bike to my surprise he told me to bring the bike in and just pay the difference which was about $2000.00!
I could be happier this bike is red and catches everyone s eyes. I don t think any other dealer would have done what these guys did for me. I will never buy a bike from anyone else except NY Motorcycles. There are very friendly and so so honest. If your going to buy a bike go to NY Motorcycle I am sure you won t be disappointed

Picked up a 2015 KX250F last Saturday. Great deal, great service, worth the extra drive. Slim was a pleasure to work through the entire process. Only issue is parking can be tight when picking up the bike, but all worked out.

These guys are the place for bikes. Went down to purchase a used motorcycle. When the one I saw online didn't work for me, Jay, my salesman, and his manager were extremely helpful and accommodating. They both worked with me, and I left with a different bike for a fair price in great condition. Very knowledgeable and friendly people, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase.

I just bought a new 2014 Kawasaki KLR650 today with $4899 + tax and fees. I have been shopping on line for a long time for this bike and almost decide to buy a 2009 model that has 3290 miles that is asking for $4499. Although the price of this bike was firm but the manager was willing not to charge me 3% credit card payment and free delivery to my NJ home. The sales Jay was very friendly and explain what all other charges are and even showed me how the bike was put together in the shop. Before I walked out of door he stopped me and offer walking through bike's switches and tips to start the engine and how to winterize the bike. Anyone who is interested in buying a bike should stop by this place even you have to take a long drive. The entire transaction is less than an hour. No hassle at all. Highly recommended!

I did the deal twice. And two times I would give the sales department only one start. First time when I try to buy motorcycle salesperson ask me to give him 5 minutes and he left for almost 40 minutes lunch. Of course I was waiting very long..."5 minutes". Second time I set up new motorcycle purchase with manager. Because motorcycle wasn't in showroom manager promised me to have it next day from their warehouse. I told him to make everything ready because I'm going to drive over 100 miles from upstate. When I called them next day to let them know I'm on my way manager told me they don't have my motorcycle. It'll be ready for pick up next day . So I drove over 100 miles one way for nothing and I got back home with nothing but empty gas tank. Manager should call me and let me know my motorcycle pick up needs to be reschedule. My advice go somewhere else. They also overcharge on fees for preparation, fright etc.

Place is great, Top of the line bikes, quads, and a lot more. Joey the sales guy was spot on. Definitely would recommend this place. Owner also was a great guy. Really like this place. Just bought a Yamaha raptor 90 and Yamaha yfz450r. Couldn t be happier with the service. Great guys and absolutely no problems. Best I ve seen. Definitely will be using them in the future.

So, you want a motorcycle? Beginner? Intermediate? Expert? Wildcard? Whoever you are, these guys have the bike and supplies to get you on the road burning that fuel. Personally, I dealt with 2 dealers here. Jay and Dean. Both are experts of their trade. Very knowledgeable and courteous. I like the fact that they are patient and take their time to make sure you will be happy on the road. I tried dealing with other dealerships but none are as hospitable and friendly as this one. I love the vibe here as well. Whether you come here to get down to business and get a bike or just come and chill and just hang out, these guys are awesome. The owner, Vince, is also very knowledgeable, friendly and will make sure you are satisfied. I bought a Kawasaki Vulcan S from Dean, got an awesome deal and I can't wait for the summer to break it in. Ride safe!

Been here a few times. They are overworked, overcrowded.. been turned down many times just because they are too busy. Excuse is always there's only one guy working. Would avoid if possible, there are other places in the area.

They have a good selection of bikes but the salesman looked not interested

I was looking for a Kawasaki Versys in a good condition, ended up finding a steal deal at New York Motorcycle, It was unreal! I dealt with Jay, he was professional and courteous (might seem a little rushed, but due to the fact of handling multiple accounts, it's understandable) but overall the experience was pleasant. I bought most of my gear from their parts department and was pleased with the selection of products they carry.

Overall, this dealership is recommended for great prices and level of service. I will be taking my new bike in for service at the due milage.

I call to have my bike delivered and serviced. They said send it over they can take it. I couldn't reach them for 3 days, then they told me I had to wait another 5 days before they would look at it. 7th day they call to tell me I had a boot on the bike and I owe $95 for an estimate but they will let that slide under the circumstances. Lol thank you If not for your lack of attention to customer service I would not have found the bike Mechanic I use now.

I recently purchased a Yamaha V-Star 950 Tourer from Jay at New York Motorcycle, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. He was helpful, informative and friendly. I felt no pressure at all. I purchased exactly what I wanted, and got what I feel was a great deal.He gave me the definite impression that he was helping me get exactly what I wanted, and that my needs were top priority. Bunch conn artists here called to price out kids 70 for $1400 rings bill up without tax because I m out of state $2350 so it s 50% increases for freight n some other BS they don t tell you about
On the phone and bikes aren t even new, just ask what s additional charges before you drive here wasn t worth time n tolls

Racist and the worst place in the world to buy a bike.

i mean u kno buying something like a motorcycle is such an ordeal...many to choose from,, prices to negotiate, colors etc etc and the list goes on. Well at NY Motorcycle i was very comfortable, noone seems to be that agressive trying to sell you something u dont want. Will was the best salesperson and he helped me with my new FZ6R 2012. NY Motorcycle is a friendly helpful and full of nice sales people. Vincent as lots of ppl kno is an amazing guy, manager , talk to him and you feel the connection. He sounds very sincere and works very hard to help yiou. He gave me plenty of tips and explained what I need to do with the motorcycle so i dont have problems.
Overall nice place, even the parts sales guy, Joel and this other gentleman were awesome. Not to forget the person who put together the bike; awesome. Love this place and recommend everyone to atleast give this place a chance to have the same wonderful experience I had.

This shop is a great shop. They have a huge selection of gear and motorcycles. I recommend going to their website and checking on their overstock inventory because some of the prices are really unbelievable. I would shop there again.
