Food was decent but very bad service. Not catering worthy.

Fine food, friendly service and nice entourage. In short, a must.

Had dinner with social deal. Food was tasty. But yes, when you order a glass of wine and ask for a glass of water, that's not possible because they are not allowed to serve tap water and only sell spa blue. When someone asks for water instead of a drink, that's fine. Then simply order a spa blue.

But don't give water to people who already order a drink? Then as a catering entrepreneur you don't quite get it I think ... It saves you a star in this review, the whole experience is less because of this (next time we will eat at the other restaurants in the area where you will get regular water at the wine) and unnecessary expenditure on spa blue will be deducted from the tip.

Tip: when someone orders a drink and asks for water, just do it (or even offer it yourself like restaurants that get it right). In this way you remain dependent on the social deal and you do not get repeat visitors. We would love to come back when the policy has changed.

Nice and cozy restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by the creativity and guts of this chef to combine certain ingredients! Feel free to ask if they can surprise you culinary without choosing yourself, recommended !!

Delicious eaten, shared dinner definitely recommended

Saturday evening really delicious dinner, good atmosphere, a must to eat here !!

A pleasant place, where the food was well prepared and the wine tasted very good. The puns on the menu are sometimes of mediocre quality, but this does not spoil the fun. A must to eat in the center of The Hague

We used the Groupon offer for the Cheese Fondue to visit Het Kabinet restaurant. We could choose the table by ourselves but had to wait 35 minutes until one of the waitresses caught our attention to take the drink order. We also specified that we would like a vegetarian Cheese Fondue because the ordinary Cheese Fondue came with meatballs and small sausages.
After too long we got our drinks and soon after we got the ordinary Cheese Fondue, for which the waitress apologized but did not replace the meat products for vegetables.
All in all the service was very kind but it was chaotic, it didn't run smoothly. Both waitresses, it seemed, were new so that was the reason why it seemed chaotic and the slow service. They did do their best and we enjoyed the food.

I had a pasta with shrimp, it was delicious, definitely recommended. Food is tasty here, keep in mind that - if you go with a large group - you can wait + - 45-60 minutes before anything is on the table at all.

Food was delicious, wine too, but the service still has a lot to learn (attention, logic, stock management).

Fine restaurant. Dietary restrictions were handled in a very good way. Tribute! Would love to come back again.

We had dinner here and did not find it very special. The meat was well cooked but it had little flavor and so was the fries. They weren't all friendly either, a very noisy place when it's already half full. We will not be coming back here.

Very good and quiet location, very close to the courtyard, nice spacious room, good bed, good sanitary facilities and shower, great place for a weekend in The Hague.

We had a unlimited cheese fondue, everything was okay beside the fondue, was awful, what a pity, nice location! Don't go for the fondue!!

Offering a Social Deal promotion with the example on the Social Deal site including the special coffees instead of a dessert, and then ultimately asking a more price of 5.00 per coffee.

What have we enjoyed. Delicious wine, delicious spicy chicken, delicious ice cream / fruit / merengue for dessert. A hospitable service, cook deliciously cooked. Therefore no other than thank you chef / waiters. I will definitely enjoy it again at the Cabinet in The Hague ...

Do not give the controller unexpected situations. Then stress arises :-D

The food and service were great! Could not finish the dessert so I could take it home even together with a glass bowl.

DON'T ORDER UNLIMITED CHEESE FONDUE. JUST DON'T. I went with my parents, got one round cheese fondue (cheese pot and a small plate of vegetable and some meatballs) for us all for about 40 euros. When we wanted more veggies, were told that we can't have that unless we finish the cheese. Otherwise this is all we get. Seriously?? Then we got 1/3 plate of veggies as an "exception", and they tasted sour and rotten. I told the staff, she said it is for sure fresh. Then she brought it to the chef, came back and told us "the chef agrees that it's not fresh" And that was all. We left with empty belly and diarrhea. What an experience!

Good food, fast service and above all very friendly. Too bad we went to a performance. I would rather have stayed here

Main course with fish was very tasty and the presentation interesting. Tiramisu desert very sweet. I would suggest a smaller serving.

I had requested information via e-mail whether there was still a room available on certain dates, apparently this was already a reservation for them while that was not even on the requested date. When I told them that I had not booked and had said that they had to go through the previous e-mails, I was not exactly treated kindly and was immediately decisive for them to say that I can no longer book there in the future. In short, if they don't like something despite your fault, the staff is very unfriendly

Nice atmosphere, a bit too dark in my opinion. Expectations of the privilege far exceeded. Main course was a bit disappointing. Everything else fine. Nice staff and a nice evening.

Nice restaurant good food but the bread with spread too expensive for the little bit of bread the host is friendly

Although there was only one person serving in a full business, we were served quickly and friendly. Very clever, example for staff in other restaurants. Nice to be in a place where they know what they are doing.

Crockery was grubby and ingredients to dip into the cheese fondue were not fresh (brown spots on the carrots for example).
Staff was friendly.

Maybe it is due to the occupation, but we were there at 7:00 PM, half an hour later we got the menu, 1.5 hours later the starter. Billed at 22:30 and not because of long dining, but because it took a long time.

Cozy restaurant, very friendly staff, live music. Food is fine. We had a social deal, but it must be said that many of the menu options are still paid 5 and for the main course you have to pay extra for the side dishes. That is not bad, but it does not actually belong to a social deal because when you are there you are still confronted with more costs. And that cannot be done for everyone. I found that annoying for my table companions.

Tonight our dear friends, who had been married for 40 years, surprised with a dinner. For all of us the 1st x here.
It was a surprisingly pleasant evening full of delicious dishes & good, friendly service. In short, it was a successful evening!

Great tent. Price-quality is right. You don't pay much and what you get for it is really easy to do. Spare ribs had good taste. Delicious wine. Friendly hard working staff. Nothing wrong with it

I have to say that in the end was more fun than the beginning. Despite their apology, the service was not optimal and it took so long. So it can be much better. The food was delicious. And on that one Friday there was live music and that was so much fun and you forget the time or was it the Rioja wine? All in all I give a 4 star, I had given a 3 first. So guys do your best!

Cozy restaurant. Beautiful dishes.
Operation correct, but everything took longer than expected. (As a result, turnover is missed: fewer drinks). Maybe the owner can help, instead of sitting on the terrace.
My daughter got food poisoning after eating the carpaccio or the cheese foundation.
Pity......

Great ambiance, affordable, lots of meat but I would have preferred to see more green (too)

So much fun to do. A walking package with lunch to go. We were welcomed with coffee and cream puffs. Then we were sent out through The Hague with a lunch. Such a beautiful city. Afterwards there was a beer and bitterballen ready for us. How nice is that!

FOOD POISONING

Booked Friday, were received nicely and offered drinks.

After giving the choice of the menu, the starter took a long time to arrive. There was not enough staff. And that while the boss was quietly outside enjoying wine.

Carpaccio tasted crazy but otherwise fine. Then waited 40 minutes for main course. My partner had to walk to the bar when after 20 (!) Minutes no new drink was requested. We were literally right in plain sight.

Chief, the spare ribs were tasty! Then we had to wait another 45 minutes for dessert, while that was a small bowl of ready-made stuff.



Less than 24 hours later, my partner and I both suffer from possible food poisoning. Our suspicion is the carpaccio that is too warm. I will certainly not come back here!

Too bad we were only allowed to purchase spa blue in addition to our wines. It is outdated (and environmentally unfriendly) that tap water should not be served. Hopefully the policy in this restaurant will be changed soon.

I was pleasantly impressed with the kitchen! Freshly baked bread served, omelete flan with delicious avocado, truffle ravioli were phenomenal

Today there was a couple on their phone all the time, really assos, probably having a good time together.

Unexpectedly ended up in the Cabinet. Excellent cuisine and very friendly service!

My nigiri and the Salmon great. But my friends were not so happy with their choice. The waiter seems to be not very happy, this evening with our table.

Unfortunately we did not eat well at Het Kabinet. The spare ribs were very dry, the fries were very weak and the sweet potato fries were burnt. For dessert we had a cheesecake that was very dry. We literally have a stomach ache from the food. When passing on the bad food, there was no reaction and laughed away. We will never do this again.

Nice restaurant near the House of Representatives. We had a five-course dinner here through Social deal and had a good meal. Separate appetizers and a delicious dessert.

Cheese fondue was simple but fine. Service was friendly but unprofessional, which I don't mind too much, but if they start to piss each other off for a way that the customers can hear.

Poverty. Seems tempting but tis poverty. Takes a long time before you get the starter from the freezer. Do not!

Had a nice 3-course dinner with a friend. The food was very good. Location was good, only a 15-minute walk from The Hague central station. We used a coupon from Social Deal: about 20 per person including drinks.

Good food but little attention for the guests. The food was put on the table impersonally.

THICK FAT INSUFFICIENT! THE CAMPSITE IS LUXURIOUS! After a long time again with the two of us away without a child, we were so pleased. We have booked the deluxe room with jacuzzi and 3-course dinner. On arrival it was reported that we had to eat elsewhere, the chef was ill. Great! When we first got to our room we saw dirty brown stains in the bed linen, that there were 2 small towels and an inimini piece of toilet paper. No phone number or Wi-Fi code anywhere so I walked downstairs. THERE WAS NO MORE! We went to eat at the neighbors and they gave us a phone number, continuously online but answers ho but! We didn't want to spoil the fun so bought our own towels and toilet paper .. When we turned on the jacuzzi, a sewer smell came up, believe me you don't want to sit in it! The cleaning lady the next day was also very unfriendly. Until today no explanation or excuse received, but compensation from SD.

Last Saturday evening again so delicious eaten at Het Kabinet.
It is always a party - the quality and presentation of the food, but also the service is very nice.
Compliments also to Niky Jay, despite her injured foot (wasp sting) she continued to work hard and cheerful!
