Terrible breakfast at "Club Lounge... " while paying premium prices. breakfast is mainly a la carte and not worth the extra US$30 they add to room charge

1. We moved to window table and no staff was available to clear /wipe down used tables. only 1 or 2 wait staff appear occasionally in dining area to bring orders or get coffee, even if there were still about 8 tables of guests dining

2. we arrived 40min before breakfast finished, but had to wait 30min+ for filipino eggs/rice tocino (very average, had better at local fast food) and eggs Benedict.

3. I found it quite noisy in early to mid morning with motorists, guests opening and shutting their doors etc.. thin walls !

Pros: quick airport transport response but that cost us Php 2,900. comfy bed, good location.

It would be a medium class hotel in Makati. I feel oldness, but I am satisfied. Personally, I like breakfast bread.
Because it is in front of the green belt, food and shopping are all OK. It is an area that is safe enough that you can walk around with local clients without problems.
It is an area where there is no such thing as so-called Filipino character, but if you go to work, this area may be a good choice.
The disadvantage is the distance to the airport. If it rains it will close for about 2 hours. If you care about the time to the airport, PASAI is good.

The lobby is beautiful, spacious, and black-grey-white theme. The hotel has potential, but I've observed that its marketing strategy isn't strong--I don't hear a reference to this hotel a lot while I do with the other top hotels in the area.

Lovely hotel. The service is very very good. Staffs are very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is located in a very good location, right opposite the Greenbelt mall with lots of restaurants to choose.

I cannot say anything about quality of service, is really good. Food is excellent, people friendly and very helpful. But the rooms, they clean and tidy dont get me wrong, but smell in the rooms ( i stayed here already several times and in different rooms ) is like a old dump carpet, obviosly windows you cannot open to let some fresh air in ( fresh air in makati is also questionable ), so from the options - there is not many but to buy some air freshener which will only mask the smell but will do the trick.

Classy hotel with high ceiling and spacey waiting area. In fact, this hotel has it's very own cafe and restaurants inside like a mini mall but it's a bit pricey though. It also has a swimming pool, business centre, and function rooms. Greenbelt mall is just right across from the hotel. And there's a coffee shop nearby if you just want to chill.

I sent an late check out request via AGODA, they did not reply. Shameful for a 5-star-hotel. Obviously, they are only interested in the customers' money and are not willing or able to provide normal service. No recommendation!

love it!

Excellent location, just across Greenbelt. Their Filipino dishes are also great as was the Chinese cuisine at the Jasmine restaurant (their unlimited dim sum menu is worth its reasonable price!). I would definitely stay here again.

To the hotel administrators of New World Hotel, can you do something about your unnecessary obsession with providing hotel guests/conference participants with overflowing plastic water bottles, that for sure would only end up in unmanageable landfills? I find it really wasteful and incongruent with Makati city's Solid Waste Management, and the campaign of other Hotel Chain managers/owners to 'go green' that this is still an issue and your hotel hasn't been in solidarity with this environmental thrust just yet. But kudos for not allowing the use of confetti during one of our events, and providing bamboo stirrers during the cocktails. Keep that up and improve on the other areas where improvement is needed!

Place was nice. They had really good service too. They have a spread options for breakfast buffet. The hotel is convinient too. I give it a four star as their parking think needs an improvement. But would recommended the hotel.

Despite this being a very old building, with small roons, expensive (for such a building as compared to other 4-5 star places around Makati,, it remains my favorite, mainly because of its location just in front of Greenbelt 3, just have to cross the road.

Very good service and location. Especially bar at the ground floor is great place to talk. To become luxury hotel, I want more variety on breakfast and TV channel.
Wifi is not too strong enough.

Stayed for five weeks on business. No problems, great service and the complimentary brunch never got old. Great location in Makati, Greenbelt Mall right across the street with anything you need.

The hotel team is amazing and just lovely people from the team that greet you, at the door, the front desk ladies and to the most lovely Realyn and Rachelle in house keeping they make my stay just that little bit more like home.

I like to call it my home away from home when I am in the Philippines.

New World always feels like a second home. The staff is so well-trained, so welcoming and courteous. They always go above and beyond when it comes to level of service. I always feel so special when I visit this hotel.

Right beside Greenbelt 3, food is everywhere. Room was clean, big and spacious but the aircon is way too cold for comfort, I had to switch it off a couple of times. Kudos to the hotel receptionists and the staff stationed all over the lobby - More than ever helpful, always giving tips and help.

Clean, feels modern, relaxed. A bit sparse in its room details and amenities. What can't be beat is its great location, right in front of Greenbelt 3. Good food too. Service is excellent and helpful, smiling faces abound.

Attended an event in the 1st floor conference hall. The place was well organised and the staff very professional, ensuring that food and drink was well supplied. The buffet selection was wide and very tasty.

Great service. Very nice rooms. Air conditioner a tad on the finicky side, and the water can be real hot out of the taps, so watch out. Friendliest staff in Makati. Blows the Dusit Thani away in this regard. Wonderful lounge. Normally an easy walk to Greenbelt. But construction currently means a bit more of a walk. Nothing major though.

This is the only hotel we book every time we are in Manila. The location is the best especially if you like walking across to Greenbelt for your meals and shopping. You never run out of things to do in Greenbelt - it is also near other shopping venues like Landmark and Glorietta. The staff at this hotel is the best you can find anywhere. They are all friendly, helpful and very professional. Liza, at the front office is friendly and efficient. You can approach her with any front office requests or issues. The breakfasts and cocktails at the Living Room are an extra bonus. Kudos to Rizza, Criszia, JonJon, Stevene,Kat and Josephine for being so friendly and attentive. They really made us feel like we were in our own living room. Until the next trip, thank you so much New World for such excellent customer service!

Lobby has a bit of a tired look to it and the whole place seems dated. The pond area more so but at least you get to smoke freely somewhere. Bathrooms have no bidet so that is a minor (or in some cases quite major) inconvenience. But overall is a pleasant place to stay. It has one of the best selection of breakfast in all hotels i tried in the Philippines (kudos to the chef whoever he/she is). Rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable as one will expect for a five-star hotel. Nice views of Makati skyline from the 8th floor and up. Pool area is shaded if you try swimming late afternoon. Location: it is very near the poshest shops in Makati (if you are into LV or Hermes) and is a short walk away from Landmark and Glorieta.

Good hotel in Makati, Manila. Very good breakfast, next door to the Green Belt Mall, here you get all the way to Prada and Gucci all the top brands. Pictures show an executive suite on the 25th floor. 30 minutes from the hotel to the airport.

Fancy place.

I was forced to check my luggage for entering the hotel because the security was very strong, but the hotel staff were very kind and the room was very clean. It was upgraded as there was a vacant room!

My husband and I were invited to the buffet for lunch couple of weeks ago on a Sunday. I went to get noodles soup. When it came to what kind of broth I want on my noodles, I am prohibited from chicken broth for a few months. I told the chef I ll take the noodles as is. He offered to cook the noodles in another way to make it more tasty. It was delicious. He went out of his way to make my day. He doesn t have to, but he did.
This is the first time someone I ve encountered who went beyond.
Thank you. I appreciate the chef for his kindness and going beyond to make my experience unforgettable.
Definitely coming back on our next trip home.

Convenient to Manila town and walking distance to greenbelt mall, landmark. Currently greenbelt 3 is under renovation. So, have to walk around around greenbelt 1 and 2 to entrance the mall. Hotel room was clean and the staff are very helpful. 24th floor dining view was super and food are nice. One need to improve is the swimming pool, perhaps to have 6ft international pool separate children pool
