nothing special with the room but the people working in this hotel is so great. very prompt, accurate, attentive, they will really assist you well.

one of the favorite hotels in makati--this one is just across the street from greenbelt 3. convenient for me in terms of getting food outside of the hotel. gym is good for quick indoor exercise, however, i still prefer to do brisk walk along makati streets in early mornings.

beds are good. staff are friendly. cafe 1228 is great; but the view across antonio arnaiz street is a bit too eyesore, but i guess there's nothing the hotel could do about that.

Rooms are very clean and modern. It was renovated maybe 2013 or 2014. Ballrooms for events are quite nice despite the smaller size compared to hotels nearby. Dining at Jasmine is especially nice because of the nice and spacious interiors. The chef makes very good Chinese dishes and can be customized to the customer's preference.

Place is definitely 5 star but the service is somewhat lacking.. unlike in other hotels where the staff is very attentive and maintains professional interaction with each other, they tend to make idle chitchat with each other even in the company of guests.. the breakfast choices is also a bit limited and the price is not cheap.. but the room where you can see the TV while soaking in the tub is truly divine..

Strategic location for businessmen, likewise for the family. Surrounded with restau and malls. Very lively neighbourhood.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the business and shopping hub of the Philippines, in Makati. Near the airport as well. Rooms are splendid while the services of cheerful attendants simply great. The Lounge is nice place to hangout and offers a nice selection of wine, cheese dried meat and other finger foods. Sadly, the lunch buffet at Cafe 1228 is not impressive nor to die for. Dessert is not extra ordinary. The moron and other local delicacies are not how it should be. The fruitcake dry and other pastries lacking in moistness. Albeit, presentation is great but taste is another thing. Only the Japanese food is best among the rest. The Filipino meals failed to showcase what's best in this country. Well, if it's any consolation there are a wide variety of restaurants to choose from just a few walks away to cater to your gastronomic delights. Please improve on this New World Hotel Makati and your hotel will turn out to be the perfect place to be!

Excellent location, friendly & very helpful staff. Special mention to Joy at the front desk & Jonas who on different occasions, went out of their way to make our stay that extra bit more comfortable. Bar Rouge Lounge have excellent performers and we re well looked after by Jayvee, a very vibrant & enthusiastic hostess who clearly loves her job. Keep it up New World crew! See you all again!!!

Only went to the ballroom hall for seminars. Usually half or whole day seminar. May coffee, tea and milk in morning before the seminar. May snacks, may lunch, depende sa ipprovide ng nagpapaseminar. You can just sit through the seminar, food will be served. Well, depende siguro sa nagpapaseminar.

A nice place except for the aircon which took 12 hours to cool or to work properly. Otherwise good.

My 3rd time here and the view is still spectacular, staff are super accomodating. Hallways smells good.
May favorite here is their juice bar where u can mix and match your own fresh fruit juice.

Great view along Makati Ave. The pizzas are good value, decent size and 400p. Two pizzas is enough for 3 or more people.

New World Makati hotel is one of recommended hotels in Makati City especially in Ayala area.

It is just accross the Greenbelt 5, just a 5-10 minutes walk to SM Makati and Landmark and other nearby malls.

I have stayed here multiple times and the experience has been good. It is really convenient to be able to cross the street and go to greenbelt.

Chinese restaurant at 2nd floor is one of the best Chinese dishes in Manila. Please try.

Chose this place to celebrate the wedding anniversary for me and for my wife. All was good and the staff are very polite and accomodating.

Horrible experience, charging 8100 pesos per night and not worth of even 500 pesos per night, guys please don't take your room on 19th floor ever in case if you wish to stay in this hotel. Noisy passage whole day drilling n hammering, kids n adults screaming near the door
Room no 1915 specially, housekeeping staff service is poor, if u pay them tip they will give u nice service this is due to their poor salary, No drinking water, coffee, etc you buy from out even after paying 8100 pesos per night.

Best hotel nearby is Shangrilla or Fairmount.

Room no 1915 was a nightmare for me, midnight aircon stop working and wake up with full of swet in the body then it's hard to sleep.

It s not an ideal place to stay if you want comfortable stay while in Manila either on a business trip or vacation. The rooms and carpets were dirty and smelly. While I was occupying one of their room, I was not able to sleep due to the noise from the street. I was promised that this issue will not happen again on my return back at their old hotel however when I checked in again, I was advised that there was nothing on the system that records about the matter and I feel that they were up selling their other rooms which I declined to accept. With this, I feel misled and that they were trying to rip me off as an Australian tourist. Consequently, I did not feel safe and worried for my health due to the awful smell of their carpets and dirty room. It appears that their staff (including hotel managers) pattern of behaviour are not receptive to feedback as my complaints were ignored and made a number of excuses when I requested to speak to their general manager that he is not always on duty. A hand written formal complaints were issued to the next level manager named Mr. Bridle (Chief Operating Officer) however I received NO email reply until now to confirm that he even received it. The hotel managers have refused to provide me the email address of Mr. Bridle to pass on my negative experience while staying at New World Makati Hotel. After this, it appears that one of their staff made an attempt to attack me on my Facebook account which I considered very offensive, unwelcome and unprofessional. Before leaving the hotel, I was promised that they will liaise with my travel agency to get the full refund immediately but when I contact my travel agency, it appears that they don t have a clue about this matter. Overall, I will not recommend this old hotel to my family, friends and business associates.

Always something wrong when I go there. First the key card got disconnected making the lights to go off while i was working in the room. Then maid came in the room without knocking when i was in the bathroom luckily not naked. Another time i booked king bed but the hotel didnt have king bedroom for me so i was upgraded to a bigger room. Club lounge was great. Overall was good. If there is just one time that nothing goes wrong I would have given the hotel 5 star.

Good location. Convenient for shoppers. Very secured hotel with security you see at the lobby. They have good fine dining restaurant and coffee shop. My balikbayan brother and his wife every year stay there cuz it's convenient for to every need.

Rooms are great and the buffet lunch is something not to miss. Steaks are the killer, you can have lamb, beef and pork.

Inside, it is a well-equipped hotel.
The green belt is in front of you, and you can eliminate the inconvenience from shopping to eating.
Japanese food was also available for breakfast, and the tasters were also satisfied.

Quality is high, you can check in early and check out late until late, the location is good and convenient

Have spent literally months here for business in Manila. The staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered in hotels and are always welcoming and inviting. The rooms are good (by Manila standards) and the prices are reasonable. The hotel services (restaurants, gyms, pool) are all kept in great condition and are of a high quality. I come here because of the people though, it's a fantastic place to return to.

Very nice hotel with good price. There is a mall in fort of the hotel and there is a supermarket near the hotel.

The location of the hotel is great and the cleanliness is excellent, the quality of the food needs to be improved and improved.

Staff are very hospitable and accommodating, they treat visitors and guests very well. Love them! Rooms are luxurious and comfortable. Smoking is strictly confined to a designated spot on the first floor, which would normally knock my rating of any place down to the bottom, but the other factors compensated for that.

Had spent around one week there....felt like my home... services right from room to restuarant was mind blowing.... Loved it
