New World Makati Hotel Review

Never heard na bawal maupo along the sides of a plant box, pregnant ka tapos mauupo lng saglit pero bawal. Funny but it's very disappointing. Very unhumanistic as if I was loitering for so long. I will never recommend this type of hotel who doesn't promote good-natured policies. Menial thing, yes. But this will be embedded in my mind and soul.

Newly renovated lobby. Quite place to have lunch-meetings.

Forgot to clean our room & we had some air-con issues.. over still very nice

This hotel is in a great location for tourists, with shops like Greenbelt, SM, Glorietta and Landmark across the road or a quick walk away. Visiting family was a bit difficult as they lived a fair distance away, but that depends on where your family/friends are located.

The hotel staff are very kind and friendly, whilst the rooms are modern, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Definitely suitable for a long stay. If I need to stay around Makati, I will definitely consider coming back to the New World Hotel!

Secured location within the central business district.

Things to know..... Staff is extremely friendly. They always greet you with a smile and willing to help with any questions. The room and building are well maintained and clean! The on-site business center can help with any printing or copying needs. The pool was perfect for an afternoon swim. Shopping is right across the street in Greenbelt mall. This is perfect place to stay for business or pleasure.

Close to NAIA and the Greenbelt is across the street. Great customer service, the hotel is modern and classy and our suite was clean with new amenities.

Location is the best, service is so so, room is so so, food is bad

Tried their Dinner Buffet. Not as expansive as other hotels but still good quality and good selection of items. Also includes choice of juices, coffee and tea.

The shower is good, but the bath is shallow and I want to get a little more firm. The room is wet and humid. It does not dry in the room.
I stayed for 3 nights but I could not change the towel unless I asked. Security is good.

Just seen the outside part of the NWM Hotel but its look amazing and in my own its look like a FIVE Star Hotel or even a Six Star Hotel...

Hotel itself is in a great location, bang in the heart of Makati. The lobby is an amazing place to walk through and the ambience is great day and night. Plenty of security to make you feel safe. Room was big, bathroom had a large shower and bath available. Food was great at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is a little expensive, but it is a convenient location and the facilities are clean and I think it is a good hotel. It is recommended for business.

Facilities were well maintained, guest wifi was fairly fast, and service was efficient; all with the ambiance befitting a five star hotel

Nice and clean aging hotel. Breakfast can be improved, especially coffee. Electrical plugins are very rare items in the room.

Simply Grand Hotel in one of the best areas of Manila

the buffet is the most affordable of all 5 star hotels especially if you are an EPICURE card holder and/or a BDO credit card holder.

Rooms are good size and comfortable. Perhaps bathrooms need a revamp. The plug in my bath didn't close properly so couldn't fill it. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is the best bit it is really an Asian experience with representation from many cultures and countries. Go early tho to ensure getting a table. Hotel transfers are good way to get around but the cost of one way airport transfer is excessive (2800P).

Currently this is one of the best hotels in Makati for business trips and short visits. Its proximity to the Makati malls, the central business district and the airport means less traffic to navigate when going to and from meetings and such.
The service is needs a bit of improvement (hence one less star) since one tends to have to stand up to get the attention of staff in the coffee lounge.
The place is neat, cool, and spacious compared to others where it gets a bit claustrophobic
For smokers, it is a great place as one is not sent to a non description corner of the hotel. The smoking section is a proper Al fresco place beside a fish pond where it is relaxing.
It is not a new hotel but given its features, it is a great experience to stay here when in Manila.

Very overpriced hotel in great need of total refurbishment.
The corridors leading to the rooms dark and dingy, the rooms are quite spacious but the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The carpets are horrible stained and worn out.
There is a major shopping mall right across the street and a convenience store.
There are much better quality properties in the area.

My wife and I stayed a few nights in November 2015, an oasis of a hotel in the heart of Manila and right opposite Green Belt. We felt very secure. A lovely hotel.

Even if it corresponds to the front desk, cleanliness in the guest room, satisfaction in all areas. However, it is better to use mineral water even when gargling.

Great experiences. Safety check at the entrance, bar at the ground floor.
They serve fresh juice made in front of you. What you have to do is just choose what you like.

Nice hotel, inhouse bar is exspensive but. Great location for greenbelt. FYI I did notice the std room I was in had a really tiny bath if thats a priority for anyone.

Would be nice if the hotel provide fruits to the guests as its a nice touch to arrive with a bowl of fruits as snack.

Bed us This is one of the best hotels ive been in. All the staff are super friendly. They even have cold storage for frozen and chilled food. The king bed is bigger than the usual i feel. Very comfy, and very friendly, will definitely come back next time I'm in Makati!

Outstanding service, and fantastic VIP lounge! Located right in the middle of the Greenbelt shopping district!

Stayed here for one night prior to a late night flight out the following day. The hotel looks very elegant upon walking in. The man that checked us in (didn t get his name) was unfortunately not 100% focused on us (returning customer for one of us). As it was my first time there I would have appreciated if he had have told us where the lifts where located to go to our 14th floor room.
The porters are all extremely friendly and very helpful.
The hallways are dimly lit, however I enjoyed that personally. The room is large and comfortable and clean. The bathroom is a decent size and decent size marble shower. Quality body products compared to other hotels. Breakfast was good however we didn t enjoy our coffees as they were made of uht milk. Love that they have fresh, made to order juice. Check out is at 12pm but you can extend it to 1pm if you wish (unfortunately not any longer but you can leave your bags with the concierge).

There was also a drug dog.
In addition, metal detectors and cars were looking at the bottom with a mirror to see if there were any bombs. I was looking at it while thinking that it would be quite labor-intensive.
Hotelman is also fairly well educated and may be more secure than Japanese hotels.
Breakfast was good too.
There was a Chinese restaurant on the second floor and it was very delicious.
On the first floor there are cafes, restaurants and KTV.
People gathered from all over the world and various words were flying around.
The deposit will be taken first.
There is a shopping mall around there during the daytime, so it's not a problem to shop, but there are no shops at night so there will be a move to spend at the hotel or to come a little.
It was a very nice hotel!

Convenient location, friendly and helpful staffs, nice buffet dinner but quite limited choice, like the way they take and react to feedback constructively.

Clean and well maintained hotel and all staff have been great with the exception of the staff that greeted me at the counter who had the worst attitude, on Aug 8, close to midnight, when I checked in. As if a smile will cause a crack on her face and demanding incidental payments when I only carry a debit card and I had already pre-paid in full. This is not what you want to deal with when you ve had a long flight and you re tired, not expecting from a hotel perpetrating as a 5 star.
To Management, you need to ensure your staff are well trained in dealing with hotel guests. And find a way to accomodate for guests who has a preferred way of settling their account. I know other hotels do. Need to lift your game. I won t be back.

Best location! A stone's throw away from greenbelt! The rooms were clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Although the air-conditioning in our room 708 was a bit warmer. The staff was gracious enough to send someone to look at it but still the room was warmer than expected.
The breakfast buffet was a letdown though. But then again, there's always a great restaurant to grab breakfast in nearby greenbelt.

I had been there twice and stay was for almost 60 days. I must say this is one of the best hotels with large rooms, neat and clean. Hotel staff are very cooperative and friendly

Coming to New World Makati Hotel after 1 day of travelling I can honestly say we have been treated to the highest expectations ever! Staff here make you feel amazing and so so welcome. anything you ask for, the lovely smiles and service lead you to rooms and food that blew my mind We were worried about Manilla as we have been travelling for a while and wanted to enter the Philippines. This hotel was heaven, it has everything. We paid to upgrade for breakfast, afternoon tea 3-5pm and cocktails 5.30-7.30. The cocktails include spirit and mixers and you get a wide variety of continental / deli and you do not need to have a meal afterwards there are so many options. It is in a great location and the staff are fantastic, the best we have seen on our travels so far. If you need your batteries recharged or away for business this is amazing hotel. A special thanks to the super friendly and welcoming Stevene, Jon Jon and Rizza in the residence club (from the upgrade) who were here to answer any questions about the area and support us with drinks and food. Cheska on the front desk who suggested the upgrade was also extremely helpful and all the before mentioned people are a credit to the hotel.

I hope that are better rooms then the one I stayed. Detailed make the diferences and for sure this hotel don't deserve 5 star, but the price is good. But again, for the same price I have stayed in more cleane hotel and they have only 3 stars.

Huge space in the rooms and the things are neat and well organized. Near with malls and restaurants. And the staffs are all nice and professional.

5-star ambiance. Very cozy place, though it's costly.

Good hotel that has all the key necessities. Also since its across the road from the green belt mall, it's a very good location.
