New World Makati Hotel Reviews

New World is a business hotel meant for fast in and out movements. The set up is for people on the go. It is a good place to stay but if you really must move around while you are in makati, this is a good place to stay. The amenities include the usual gym and pool. What is not usual is the lap lane in the pool which is great for people who really love to swim. What is not usual in the gym is that it has a large cycling area, a punching bag, weights, a wet and dry sauna and a spacious changing area. There is also a spa but I didn't check it out as there are a lot of spa in the vicinity. As for the rooms, it is spacious and adequate. It is not extravagant, but who needs that right? The space is enough to get a good night sleep and I think that's what's important. Parking is adequate and appropriate for makati CBD.

Had a Nice stay, at 6k per night, accommodations, service and food are still competitive considering the hotel is decades old. A bit more pampering is rwquured though as Some in-room amenities are oldish: TV shud be upgraded to smart, streaming services shud be included, and I do want an espresso machine instead of a kettle and instant Nescafe when I'm on a staycation.

Excellent hotel. Great service. Rooms are well appointed. Breakfast was a large spread. Fully equipped gym. Location is superb. Easy access to everything.

Sorry, but I never had a better experience in this hotel..

We are enjoying our stay here. The only thing we find a little disappointing is the access to the other floors which we completely understand that it is for security purposes. Over all, we appreciate the excellent service of NWHM.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in many parts of the world. New World Makati -Philippines are in the top three if they ask which one is the best. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The lobby, restaurant, breakfast and staff were very successful. The cleanliness and width of the pool, the sports center should be seen. With its location, it is located in many reliable places in Malina.

It seems that the bathrooms were upgraded since I stayed here last time. I find the room size a little smaller.
One of the best part of my stay in New world is the breakfast. I really find a great choice for breakfast. I love the tropical fruits especially the mangoes.
The concierge service is very good. They are genuinely trying to help the customers.

A good hotel in the heart of Makati at a reasonable price. Modern facilities, a large gym with sauna and Turkish bath. Large and varied restaurants, outdoor pool .... magnificent facilities, in short. Highly recommended

Buffet dinner: First dined here for dinner 2 years ago. It was excellent. Actually preferred it to the buffet at the Shangri La even though the latter has a more extensive selection of food on offer as they have great ambience and offer high quality. Everything I tried was fantastic. NB: 2 years on the food is still consistent. TIP: If you are a meat lover, get them to cook you some quality steak medium-rare before it runs out!

Buffet breakfast: We also went here for a buffet breakfast soon after landing in the Philippines just recently. To be honest i wasn't very hungry and just wanted to sleep so i didn't eat very much, but what i did have was also fantastic. I had a fresh omelette comprising of fillings i'd selected and some well-made pancakes with berries. Aside from a cappuccino I also selected the ingredients for my own fruit & veg smoothie which tasted spot on. But that was about it. Three of us dined for breakfast. Neither of us ate much. I believe the bill was about AUD$120 altogether. It's expensive, yes. But I can't fault it. it's not the best buffet breakfast I've ever had but it's right up there. The quality is excellent and on par with 5 star hotels around the world. To make the most of it and fully enjoy it for what it was we should have gone there for breakfast on another day. Nevertheless i know we will return for a hearty breakfast at the NWH the next time we are back in the Philippines.

Cocktails/small snacks in the lobby/cocktail lounge: We actually enjoyed sundowners on a few occasions recently at the NWH before heading out to dinner. The Filipinos really go all out decorating the city and buildings internally and externally so it was very pleasant sitting in such a relaxing environment with such a festive ambience. There's often live music, be it a piano player or a duo entertaining guests with festive or popular songs (a young man and lady both with incredible voices).

Hotel rooms: cannot comment just yet as I've never stayed. Hopefully next time we will as it's in an excellent location just opposite Greenbelt 3 entry off Makati Avenue.

Nice and Frindly Hotel close to shops and nice restaurants in Makati - has been staying at New World for the past 18 years - alway excellent service here!!!

My stay was very special because its my 9th birthday. New World hotel is a beautiful place where everyone can spend time with their family. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel because the staff are very kind. Hotel is peaceful and quiet- Alliyah.

Even if they werent true to their word when i pre checked in the facilities and room was nice to say the least.

Still feels like a 5star hotel, but their rooms are a bit outdated. Specialy their bathroom, old beige marble & no bidet.. even 2 stars have bidet.

Excellent 5 star hotel in downtown Makati. Very friendly and professional staff, very good gym equipment and beautiful rooftop pool. If you have a choice, take a room facing Esperanza street to reduce traffic noise.

Did the dinner buffet here during Christmas Eve - it was nice alright, but there are much better hotel buffets for less the price.

Posh hotel conveniently located at the heart of the shopping district of Makati. Service is tops. Staff give you that extra mileage and are eager to please. Buffet breakfast is one of the best I have had and the variety of the food is tops! Just took a while for us to be checked in since they had to clean my room. But otherwise, excellent. Wifi is fast and furious.

Nice place overall that is on the edge of needing an update. Location is great with the huge, very nice shopping mall across the street. Some really good restaurants are also in walking distance. (People's Place was the best IMO). Staff was very friendly at the hotel, but most people are in the Philippines. I will stay again when I return for work.

been there for a night, we dont have time to roam around cause we are busy preparing for my aunt's flight to US. but the staffs are kind and helpful. it is cool also that the hotel is near greenbelt.

Spend a couple of days here it was cool hotel and smack within the Makati CBD. The Greenbelt shopping complex is just in front of it. It is a modern hotel but was just wondering why the bathroom didn't have a bidet. It is my first time to be in a 4 or 5 star hotel without a bidet. The buffet is good with lots of choices. You pay separately for the breakfast as it is not included in your room. The restaurant in the ground has good breakfast choices. If you want a nice view you can go to another resto in the upper floors. Great customer service from the staff, nice wide spacious lobby.

Convenient place to stay in Makati, just a 3-5mins away from Greenbelt, Landmark and Glorieta Malls, there a church in the lush green garden at Greenbelt. Superior room is big, pool is decent.
