New World Makati Hotel Reviews

The renovated rooms are mostly defective at best. Stayed there many times due to cheap price. Every room I stayed had problems. Air conditioning, light switches, and electrical outlets are poorly designed and illogical from a usability point of view. The hotel staff and management do not care about repeat customers so don't think they will care to ensure your stay is satisfactory. If it weren't for price and location, I will avoid this hotel.

stayed with my husband here and it was a good choice the location of the hotel is near everything.Walking distance from all the malls in makati. Service on the other hand is not as good because their staff was not as friendly and bit snobbish.

We have been here for 15 days now and every single day has been very pleasant and enjoyable. The welcoming staff, housekeeping and maintenance are always friendly and respectful. We look forward to dine and have happy hour at the VIP lounge where Criszia, Steven, Jopes, Kat, Mary Joy, Wilson, Anne, James , Jonjon and others who are always there ready to provide exemplary service. LNew World should be proud to have these people.

The employees are very approachable. The place is good and the security as well.

The hotel is fine. The food and drinks were good. The security, however, is WAY over the top. Metal detectors and bag search at Check in, armed guards searching each car when it pulls up to the hotel. I couldn't even get to meetings in the hotel with the rest of my team because your room key only allows you to get to your particular floor and the lobby. You have to go to the lobby and have someone authorize you to go up...escorted.

Seems like the place is newly renovated. Lobby was quite spacious. Staff were very welcoming.

Location and service were good and very comfortable.

Big room, provide toothpaste etc and clean bedsheets, pillows. However, house keeping misses cleaning near corners, walls in bathroom.

Excellent hotel. Not the newest but very well maintained.

Breakfast buffet is nowhere near as good as Shangri-la. Kitchen is very uneven. Not worth 5 stars. Came here again. They served cold steak and cold fries. They brought me a new sandwich and new fries. Steak was half gristle and fat. Fries were greasy mush. Is there any reason to eat here if you're not staying in the hotel? Don't think so.

Third stay at this hotel. Came back cuz of great service and hospitality. Special kudos to Wilson, Jon-Jon, Karla, Steven and Michelle at the Residence Club

its super amazing place with best staff (specially wonderful lady named Lovely ) and very nice services and activity indoor & outdoor ... its comfortable place i advise all to visit it & get best vacation ever ... regards

Very good hotel because rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable to sleep in and the harmony of the hotel is relaxing with very excellent hospitality from the staff of the hotel.

Front desk were kind and very helpful (Stevene) and room was immaculate and cocktails in Residence Club was brilliant with a great selection. The chef (Geraldine) out refilling the sushi she even served it in our table.
Whilst Rizza goes above and beyond by offering me a hot water with lemon to drink as i was having flue.
Great service from Wilson as well which exceeded our expectations.
Overall we had a fantastic stay stay.
Highly recommended!

Money minded, they keep reminding you to go out, even after paying for your drinks. Very bad attitude

The hotel is really nice, clean, and the staff is very friendly. Room are big enough and have all toiletries. Bathtub are separate of the shower. You can enjoy the buffet and it s not expensive aprox. US$30.- per person. The hotel wifi is high speed and complimentary. The slipper in the room should be change for another of better quality.

We love the staff. Friendly and very much pleasant to talk to. Food is great from breakfast to dinner. We did enjoy our stay. Can't wait to be back again soon.

Love the location and staff .but last time I didn't stay there I chose ascott makati the price difference was ridiculous.

5 star hotel with great amenities in the heart of Makati. Just behind some of the best shopping and dining places in Greenbelt. Stayed here for two nights in a superior room. The cons would be I could hear other people in the adjacent rooms and people walking in the hallway. Not particularly suited for light sleepers. Not sure about the other accomodations though. But overall I think its one of the best hotel to stay in Makati.

Nice bathroom. Food is good but bit pricy. Ps. When staff called taxi for me it was no meter the driver said he has fix price then give me small price chart , it was double price.

We'd love staying here for an anniversary celebration I also love to order their U.S prime rib steak with a complimentary spanish buns in Cafe 1228 inside this hotel!

Decent restaurants good access to shopping centers. Good rooms

New World Makati has spacious and cool room, HD TV, good WiFi connection, comfy bed and nice bathroom with bathtub (except it doesn't have bidet). Hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating.

Preferred staycation hotel in Makati, value for money! Great location, you just need to cross the road to get to Greenbelt 3. Nice comfy rooms with classy modern design. Good breakfast buffet options too.

The location was very good, the staff were so crunchy and I thought that the facilities were in place. The shopping mall in front of us is bright and safe, and the garden is beautiful. However, as a whole, this area is expensive for the Philippines.

Five star hotel indeed! With five service! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is just on the opposite road of Greenbelt where you can easily find a place to dine, shop and relax.

We stayed in the residence club section of the hotel and enjoyed the relaxed but personal service especially the cocktail hour each evening

The hotel is located in Makati, right across from the Greenbelt shopping mall. There are plenty of dining options and breakfast and room conditions are also good.

Lovely place lobby is good and of course the cuppachino is excellent

New World Makati Hotel is a culinary destination, with a variety of restaurants offering a satisfying choice of fresh, delicious food, from casual to fine dining to poolside snacks.

But my HAPPY PLACE is Cafe 1228 where I can eat all my favorite food to my heart s content - lobster, prawns, steak, salmon, laksa soup, etcetera.

A perfect place to celebrate special family events!

Cafe 1228 opens for breakfast at 6:00 a.m. and closes for dinner at 10:30 p.m.

From the moment I walked in, New World Makati Hotel gave me a great impression. The ambiance was amazing. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. Always greeted me where ever and what ever time of the day. Big thank you to staff member ER who welcomed me and organised my check in, and also organised a birthday cake delivered to my room the following day. It made may day extra special and my stay that much more memorable.
The rooms were very clean and cosy, it was home away from home. Hotel was very modern and location was spot on, close to the malls and the choice of places to eat nearby was plentiful. Would not stay anywhere else in Makati now.

They were very helpful and it was very clean with an awesome view... We enjoyed ourselves even if it was my boyfriend's third time and it was my first.

The hotel is decent. The rooms are nice. The service is friendly. I m there wasn t anything too impressive about this place - nothing that makes it stands out... also the service at breakfast is slow. I ordered a chicken adobo a la carte but it took the staff ONE HOUR to tell me it wasn t available! It was ridiculous. There aren t also many options for breakfast as other hotels of that level.

The hotel's location is good, with shopping malls, a chapel, a park, a museum and other major business hubs nearby. But the hotel is clearly showing its age, from the elevators, to the facilities, to the design. Good thing the hotel isn't as expensive as some of the newer and more prominent hotels in the area.

We had our christmas party here and we ENJOYED it!!!! The staffs are super friendly...we also booked a night here and this is definitely ine of the best hotels I've been into. Fast check in, fast check out...easy breezy :) I will definitely stay here again :)

If you are afraid of your first trip to Manila, come to New World and use only the Makati area and the Greenbelt. You will not want to leave because it's better than Korea.

Strategically and conveniently located just across Greenbelt 3. In the heart of the shopping district of Makati. Great hotel staff, delectable food and an assortment of amenities. Definitely one of the best places to stay when in Metro Manila.

Only visited the bar and reception area. Very polite and attentive staff. Atmosphere was great. The area was impeccably clean and stylish

Excellent hotel! Room was clean and bed is comfy. Location is near to Greenbelt 3. Staffs were very accomodating. I enjoyed tea time. Nice pool also. It was a nice experience.

Seriously lovely hotel with very posh and somewhat updated furnishing and setup. The buffet is slightly cozy and dim but the quality of food is superb. It's certainly above average compared to other similar hotel buffets in Metro Manila. What stood out the most is the Japanese section. It was particularly delicious unlike other buffets that tend to skimp out on the Japanese food quality. Great stuff! Just some minor things prevent the whole hotel to be a 5 star. Some furnishings in the bathroom seem a bit odd like a lack of rainfall showerhead and a very low bathtub. But overall still love it!

The location is good. There are a lot of shopping mall and foods around the hotel.
