I had never visited such a beautiful place! I saw and was delighted with so many aquatic animals! I met penguins, algae .. fish, octopuses .. For me it was really the enchanted world I didn't know! Everything is very organized, from the divers who do the maintenance ...

Our family always enjoys visiting this aquarium. The kids loved petting the stingrays and watching the baby sea lions training. There s so much to see, it s all amazing! :)
Incredible experience. Recommend to all ages. There's penguins, fish, sting-rays, etc. The building's layout allows you to keep exploring for hours. There's lockers for your stuff. It's not very expensive. Very kid-friendly but also blows your mind as an adult. I'd go back next time I'm here.
Pretty disappointed. Not much to see, except a few penguins and a really large turtle. I would not have paid the full price for that (I had a Boston daily pass). The place is packed with running, screming kids, but I honestly don't know why families with children would choose to spend that much to see just a bunch of fish, really.
Chaotic crowds, lack of activities but beautiful creatures to look at.
Priced too high for an hour worth of entertainment with no interaction/educational experiences with the staff. The scheduled performances are not frequent enough considering the lack of activities to do while you wait.
Please consider ushers on busy days, crowded conditions were unsafe. Too many children running around unsupervised and people ignoring the directional signs. It made it very difficult to enjoy, but a little guidance could have helped. I feel as though patrons are entitled to this considering the cost of admission.
The tanks are clean, well lit and filled with an excellent variety of creatures. My favorite was the sea turtle.
Lesson learned, don t go on an unseasonably warm Sunday. Might try again with passes from the library on a weekday.
This is an incredible experience. Some of our favorite animals were the ball pythons, which they were feeding when we were there (awesome), the sea turtle, and all of the penguins. Kid friendly, and they have many restaurant options around to go grab a bite to eat, which are also posted on the website. For parking purposes, the parking garage is a steep $40+ dollars, and when you drive into the entrance of the parking garage there is not a way to really turn around if you do not want to go in, so park on the street if you want to save some cash. But the parking garage was convenient and is close to the entrance of the aquarium.
This is a great aquarium and possibly the best in and around Boston. It's great for small kids because they will get to see and learn a lot about aquatic animals. It should take you probably 4-5 hours for the entire aquarium visit along with the IMAX show. I've been to bigger and better aquariums and I can conclude that this is a good one but not a great one.
Touched a shark, saw many interesting specimens, saw two sea turtles, a baby jail for fishes, learn lots, and everyone was helpful, the employees know their stuff
Great place to walk around. At weekends there are so many people that it is difficult to see and participate in the tour, and because most tourists are, many have no education ..
I had just few hours to spend in Boston and this place was near to me. It's a nice aquarium and good to go with kids. You can cover the aquarium in just 2 hrs.
We were visiting my husband s family in Boston and were going to surprise them with our pregnancy announcement. This aquarium is just so beautiful! My nieces love the penguins and mrtyle the turtle!
Thank you for making my first visit to Boston an amazing one!
Great time spent with my family in this aquarium. Lots of unique fish and others shown here. Penguins were very interesting to see. All in all a great aquarium and worth the visit.
Fantastic experience for all ages! I especially loved the penguins, seahorses and sea dragons, and the private behind the scenes tour with the sea mammals. I appreciate the aquarium's commitment to sustainability, education and research. Don't miss this opportunity! Outstanding and I can't wait to go back!
Great day out. We got a book of tickets you can use in various different attractions which is definately worth it if you will go to other places. Great aquarium, love the penguins
Great aquarium, with an intuitive layout for both large and small groups. The main part of the aquarium has a central pillar which is one of the world's largest fish tanks, and branching off of it are multiple floors of separate tanks. The residents include piranhas, penguins, a set of extremely large turtles, electric eels, and seals! In terms of interactive education, the aquarium provides a plethora of demos on each floor, and includes a tidal pool manned by staff to answer all your aquatic queries. For lunch, you can either go to the cafeteria or step outside to walk about a mile to pretty much anywhere to eat. The entire building, food court and all, is wheelchair accessible and definitely deserves five stars. My single qualm with the place is its hours. Many times you find your outing to the place cut short due to closing time, but this too is justified, because the fish need specialized care too after all, and the marine biologists caring for them can't go back and forth between tourists and fish continuously. All in all, a great place for an outing even if you aren't a student.
DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. I went to the library to get the passes, I took a bus and a train to get to the aquarium in the pouring rain. Gross day out thinking there shouldn't be too many people going. I walk to the aquarium from the T and the line just to buy the tickets was atleast 150 people long. So I wasted an entire Saturday trying to go to this place. Never again!!
I just spoke to the manager on duty by the name of Christine. We drove 5 hours on route to the aquarium to get 4 tickets that were left for us which she cannot find(we left when I had heart trouble and was hospitalized) , she refuses to do her job and research my purchase. I gave her dates and almost exact time tickets were purchased and how much. She said she did not care if I wrote a negative review, or call the Better Business Bureau or Cunsuner Affairs How she just got this promotion idk but I will call Monday morning and ask them to reconsider, obviously she's not ready . I'm pissed we drove all the way up here which she new we did and she refuses to right the wrong. My husband is military too!
Great inside Cory limits aquarium. Gets crowded in the weekend. The turtles are great. Worth buying the membership. Nice to pair with a walk around the harbor.
Fun place for the whole family, my son absolutely loves it. Parking is a pain and very expensive. If the parking garage next to the aquarium is not available you have to navigate the city. The aquarium at self is very fun. And there's a couple different ways to approach the exhibits. Highly recommended for a fun family day adventure. And while you're at it enjoy the rest of what Boston has to offer. Familiar very close to Faneuil Hall as well as the North End.
Very nice place. Gallery if fantastic for your kids to learn. We missed the presentation at the 4th floor, but enjoyed our time there. I was very crowned in a Saturday afternoon.
