The tour guide was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT!!! The group of is (seniors) this afternoon turned a highly positive evaluluation of her in to the information desk at around 12:45 p.m. I hope the person who took it turned it in. Unfortunately, I don't recall her name, though it was written on the form. We had a scheduled visited of the octopus in the room where the red-backed turtles and anemities, and the water filtering tanks are. Great tour!! Thank you!

One of the largest and most interesting aquariums I've seen. The jellyfish exhibit is very cool, and I would definitely recommend you see the penguins. I would plan on spending a couple hours here as there is so much to see.

Very beautiful and well-maintained. Loved the penguin exhibits. A special treat for the eyes was the 538 pounds sea turtle, the green eel, moon jelly fish, the sea dragon, and the interaction with stingrays.
We took almost 2 hours to visit all the exhibits, though it was a bit crowded being a Saturday. It is a perfect place for a family outing. Kids too will love the place. Marine biodiversity at best!!!

We loved this aquarium! Something for everyone. It was easy to see everything. We ended up spending more time there then I thought we would because there is so much to see. My kids loved taking pictures of all the animals.

It is a very fun place to go with young children. There were a lot of sea creatures. It took a good amount of time to go through it so it was worth the money. Definitely go there if you are in the boston area with kids.

From the Whale Watch, to the outdoor viewing of the harbor seals, to everything inside the aquarium, to the Imax theater...nothing short of spectacular! Convenient walk to South Station, Rose Kennedy Greenway and Quincy Market. Mbta blue line station.

Nice aquarium but definitely overpriced for its size. They had a bunch of info sessions during the time we were there which helped keep us there a bit longer than if we had just wandered around ourselves. Parking is HORRIBLY expensive. Find a way to take public transportation instead.

Don't go on a summer weekend. Horrible crowds make it difficult to enjoy, much less see the exhibits. Definitely get a coupon somehow, admission is overpriced. Thanks for the old begrudgingly-offered military discount. Not valid for veterans or retired

What's not to love. First thing you see when you walk in is Penguins !! I used to go at least a couple time a year until I was 11.I just went back recently for the first time in 26 years and it was just as fun. Such an incredible variety of aquatic life for such a small area. From seahorses that look like seaweed, to jellyfish, a searurtle who thinks it's the star of the show and so much more
Tickets are a little pricey but most libraries in the area have passes you can use if you have a library card and it reduces tickets to about $10.

Everything was great except for the rude girl at the photo counter. There was no pricing. She wanted to know what time I got there so she could find my picture even though I handed her the card that I was given when we had our pictures taken. Then instead of showing me the pictures on the monitor facing the customers, she said she had to print them out. While I was waiting for her to to show me my pictures, she was printing pictures for other people, they would say no and then throw them away. Such a huge waste of paper, ink and money especially for being in a place that is trying to educate on conservation. After the piss poor customer service she provided and spending $30 on a picture without getting a paper frame like most companies do, she through the recipient on the counter at me and she walked of to sit in the corner, in sight of customers and started playing on her phone even though there were still other customers waiting. Ridiculous.

It's a great place for adults and kids. There are always employees around willing to show you something, a good number of activities and games for younger kids, and very photogenic seals. Worth the time if you are in the area, and not terribly expensive. Parking in the area is more than the cost of two tickets, so consider walking a bit further if you'd like to spend less than $40.

The Aquarium portion is not as good as other aquariums in comparison to this being a BIG city attraction in the State capital. To exspensive for the attraction. Now the worst part... The Chef of mumbles swears uuder his breath and the ridiculously nasty food. After spending over $100 on food you would expect it be decent. The food here is horrible. Do not come hungry!!

This place would be so much better of they served quality food. Restraunt style if needed... Come on? This food was nasty!

Never again.

Their abysmal display tanks do not account for high ticket price. Their big tank has zero coral which only means they have no idea how to keep a tank that can keep coral alive. There s only one small tank that is properly setup. The rest just look like you re walking through Petco. I ve seen local small fish shops that take better care of tanks.

Great place to see so many different kinds of fish, from sprats to sharks, seals and turtles. Very well laid out and very informative charts for each habitat. A little on the expensive side. But it helps us understand our aquatic world and hopefully become more responsible for what we do to it.

Made the mistake of going on a Saturday it was very crowded, it seemed like the ac was not working correctly. Many people including a few in our party were complaining of vertigo like symptoms while there. The price was crazy high if you hadn't purchased the Boston City pass. Most of the shows were running at least 10-15 minutes behind.

This is an amazing place to visit. The three-storey-tall, cylindrical central tank is stunning, filled as it is with colorful fish, rays, and sea turtles. The aquarium has tens of tanks dedicated to various climates and environments including a penguin habitat, seal exhibit, salt marsh tank, tropical reef, and Amazon piranha tank, among many others. There are also two touch tanks where you can touch starfish, anemones, sting rays, and sharks. The New England Aquarium offers many educational programs as well. It's a great place for children and adults as well. If you are visiting Boston, don't miss this.

We bought a City Pass ticket so this was one attraction included. Alittle smaller than other aquariums we ve been to but a decent selection of things to do/see. One of the best things was the open air penguin exhibit- all the other penguin exhibits i ve seen have been completely enclosed but this exhibit had interactive stations with the penguins and was very cool to actually see them up close and without glass. The central fish tank has lots of fun things to see- including a 500lb sea turtle and sharks. Touch tanks with baby sharks and sting rays. Sea lions and sea lion demonstrations. One of the best exhibits was the octopus!

Great place to spend the day with family/friends. The keepers were all so friendly, informative and entertaining which enhanced the visitor experience. We especially loved the manta ray touch tank - I myself could have spent the entire day there. Hope to be back again soon!

Follow CDC rules for Covid-19, when you arrive to purchase tickets or passes they will assign you a time if it's not already at capacity, one way traffic, not crowed and able to walk around without a ton of people. Face masks are required and gift shop is open. No touch exhibit

Awesome aquarium, with lots of kids' attractions and explanations. It's a great place to spend some time with your family. The only drawback is the size, which remains limited, and thus it can quickly get packed at peak hours.

Once you get inside you realize how small this aquarium really is. My suggestion is to go during a weekday for the weekend is crazy busy and you have a hard time moving let alone your children seeing the fish and sea creators up close. Overall we had a great visit and day.
