Since day one this office has shown nothing but professionalism and competence. The office staff is smart and dedicated, always go above and beyond. Never had a better office staff experience with any other providers. The doctors/providers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well, highly recommend, will not find a better crew.

I see Dr. Slansky regularly for Migraines and Sleep Apnea. The front desk looks chaotic, but it is not. There are a lot of people out there to help answer phones when someone is with a patient and vice versa. They know my name by this time and as soon as I get there they are on their interoffice communicator telling Melissa that I am here for Dr. Slansky. When I started having extra symptoms, Dr. Slansky did all the testing for MS just to be sure. He then told me that I didn't have anything like that and suggested I see a rheumatologist because I might have fibromyalgia. He was the first doctor to confirm what I had though all along. He is a very caring and invested MD and so are the staff that I have interacted with.
It was by chance that I came to this office. My insurance provider had suggested different placed for a neurologist. Since this was the only one that didn't require a physicians referral, I decided to make an appointment. I was surprised by how quickly they were able to schedule me as a new patient. Finding the office was easy and the office staff were all friendly and professional. The nurse I had was very nice as well. I saw Dr. Arnaldo Isa for my visit. I have suffered from migraines and RLS for a number of years now. This was the first doctor that was able to give me clear definitive answers about my disorders and wonderful treatment options. All in all, I was in and out in about an hour and a half. My wait time is usually more than that at most offices. I am very pleased with my choice in using this office and would highly recommend anyone to go here!
The doctors are pretty good, if you can get past the atrocious front desk. The front desk women who answer the phone are often rude and do NOT honor appointments unless you have the front desk persons name. At the time of an appointment.
So you may or may not have an appointment by the time you arrive. And when you miss it beware they will ALWAYS blame you. Did you have the persons name? Too bad that person doesn t exist here!
The appointments themself are about 5 minutes not even holding up to the average 15 minutes.
It s really frustrating, and if you have other options choose else ware.
I have been going here since April 2018 and the front staff has been wonderful, and I absolutely love my Dr and ARNP! They never keep me waiting and the Dr is always thorough and answers all my questions!!
The Doctors are great, my mom has been going here since 2000 for MS and I ve always trusted she will be taken care of as far as her health. The office staff, however, could not be more incompetent. My mom goes without FMLA frequently because they send the form to insurance half filled out or they sit on it for weeks and do not send it. My mom will fill out the majority of the form then and send it to the office for them to only fill out a couple of lines. This is too difficult for them though, and still demand their $25 form fee. I m sorry, why are they not paying my mom $25 for filling out the forms herself?? And then when my mom says ok I ll pay... I have an appointment in 2 weeks and I do not have a car, can I pay then? The answer is no, they will hold it hostage even though the form is already a month and a half late due to them. When she has to have this form filled out every 6 months, can we have the $25 form fee waived? I ll have to check... they re not even the ones filling out the form because they literally do not know how! When she needed a form stating air conditioning is a necessity... it came back with such spelling errors that it changed the intent of the note completely. It then had to be written again, by my mom this time, only requiring a signature from them. Of course we still get the $25 form fee... because they did so much. Her lab work was sent to the lab incorrectly, missing the ever important test code. Had she gone to the lab without calling and checking on their stupidity, she would ve been sent home due to incorrect paper work from the office. It baffles me how one can be this ignorant. This level of constant stress due to an incompetent office staff is unacceptable... I can t even understand how these people still are employed. My mom is considering changing to a different neurology group because of this office staff. This upsets me very much because I do appreciate what the Doctors and PAs do for her. The stress on her is too much though.
The Doctors are amazing but the office staff is incompetent. I can't even get a return to work note for my employer for the proper dates I request. For someone who lives in Orlando and has to travel to Maitland for treatment, you'd think they'd at least have their paperwork in order. I have had more mishaps and stress due to the incompetence of the staff at this facility than I've ever encountered anywhere else.
If you're desperate for Migraine treatment, the doctors here are wonderful and will work with you, but don't expect the same bedside manner from the staff.
Horrible people. Office staff is SO RUDE. They ll blow you off if you formally complain. They will also LIE and use your memory issues against you. We had others around to confirm our end of the story, can only imagine what else they do for people who don t have advocates.
My experience did not get as far as seeing the doctor. I spoke with a kind woman Karen who was really wonderful, then after reading all the feedback I noticed different people complaining about the same situation so that is a huge red flag. I decided to cancel and after thought well let me experience for myself and wanted to make another appointment. I received a call from an abrasive admin and she could care less about my concerns and when I brought them up she was like... who cares. The lack of empathy and the unprofessional dialogue was enough to say never mind. I don t know if the receptionists get together and figure out how to not give 2 frocks and still get paid. The only positive was Karen but it makes me wonder now if it was just being kind or strategic.
Don t come to this office. I came here to try to gain insight into what is causing my migraines, they were the first office with open appointments near me, so I opted for them without checking reviews. I take reviews with a grain of salt but every other review saying that this practice doesn t care about you is true. I can get over the receptionists not being the bubbliest personalities, they re busy, but my experience with Dr Slansky was horrible. I was treated so apathetically and like I was just another number. He rushed through a list of questions off a screen, not asking many follow up questions or leaving a space for me to ask any questions in turn. He ordered an MRI, and when referring to results that could reveal if I have something life threatening he said if nothing boring comes up we d have nothing to worry about- quickly correcting himself saying if nothing exciting comes up (as if me having a result is exciting?) He seemed to just toss a prescription at me without even checking if it would be helpful or a good fit for me, then said we ll see how it goes when I come back in two months. After some research on the prescription I found it wouldn t be a good fit at all, which is unfortunate since I could ve figured that out with him if he would ve spent a bit more time with me and had some compassion. Without spending $50 for my copay and an additional $50 to come back and ask for a switch. I waited so long for this appointment, just to be seen for less than 5 minutes and given the first prescription he could offer. I urge anyone looking into this office to explore alternatives first, I ve never felt so disregarded by a physician and it shows that this practice only cares about your money.
If I could score less than 1 star, I would. The staff is rude and incompetent. I wish I would have read the rest of the poor reviews on this place scoured all over the internet before scheduling an appointment. Don't waste your time or your money. They had the NERVE to cancel an appointment on me 8 minutes after the scheduled timeframe even though I called them and let them know that I was stuck on the highway due to an accident. I had to call 12 times and punch every option possible for someone to even answer my call and the kicker is... they told me they give a 15 grace period but they decided to cancel me anyway because they just didn't FEEL I would make it in time. I made it there at the 15 minute mark but they weren't going to change their minds about it. Oh, and just to add insult to injury, I should mention that I REGULARLY had to wait at least 30-45 minutes PAST my scheduled appointment time and never complained. This is how they decided to treat me when I ran into an unforeseen circumstance and I had to drive 30 minutes to get there and had been waiting over a month for the appointment in the first place! I transferred my care after this "last straw". TERRIBLE!
It makes me sad to see so many negative reviews. I ve been a patient since 2015 and I ve never had a problem. The front desk girls are respectful and helpful when I come or call in. They ve even watched my daughter twice when I was getting my infusion. I have MS and I m there EVERY 28 days since Jan 2016 and Dr. Honeycutt and Patricia Pagnotta are very educated on MS and always give me information when requested and spend a decent amount of time talking to me during my 3 month check ups. They won t hold your hands or treat you like a 10 year old. If you re looking for that then you have the wrong office. They have a research center also so they re always in the know about new treatments for neurological diseases. I drive 90 minuets every month because they are worth it!
I had suffered for many years from a twitch on my right side of my face with a hemifacil paralysis I have to say thank to Dr Salisky he did all he could with me he treated me in till he saw how serious and severe he referred me to mayo clinic had surgery and now thank God I'm doing great
Nurse karen and doctor slansky go above and beyond for patients. They try their best to get you in and assist you. Office can be hard to reach at times but they are always busy, so please be patient with them!
However, the front desk is absolutely the most unprofessional group of "medical staff" I have ever met in my life. If you have any sort of psychological issues you will be discriminated against here. I've had people calling my nurse in my room asking "if they are ok". I have severe reactions to stimulants, which makes me behave anxiously, and memory/cognitive issues when I dont sleep well for a long period of time. Totally 100% not ok from a medical facility.
Was a patient for a while and had high hopes in the beginning but it was a HORRIBLY disappointing experience being a patient there. I Felt extremely betrayed because i put so much trust in them. It was HORRIBLE List of reasons is literally too long to type. But I will sum it up with this. If you are looking for a doctors office that cares about your well being, that cares about your feelings, that cares about your health, that cares about good service , that cares about you getting better, or that cares about you in ANY way at all....this is NOT the place for you. Trust me..i learned the hard way. THEY---DO--- NOT---CARE
Office does not know what it's doing, they charge incorrectly (when I was there they were asking each other how much they were supposed to charge me, and they still got it wrong because later on I received a statement saying I owed more), and the doctors are not clear with the patient (after I left the office I got a call saying I was referred to do physical therapy when it was not mentioned once during my visit). Overall unclear and unprofessional.
I have been seeing Dr. Nieves for over a year. The staff goes above and beyond to help their patients. Kelani, Kathryn, Rebecca, Christina, Dr. Nieves and everyone else provide compassionate care and treat you special. I am so Thankful that I found this practice after brain surgery. They are the best :) :)
Did everything a doctors office should do. Examined me out, ran tests, and gave me medicine for my illness. I don't know what people expect from a doctor, but it was great for me.
I am a previous stroke victim I came to the practice to get a GENERAL assessment since the stroke was 5 years ago. The dr was condescending And was more concerned with the medication that was prescribed 5 years ago as oppose to focusing on now. He finally gave instructions to see what damage if any was. By this time though he d already lost a patient. The nurse in the room just made the visit even worse with her attitude and opinion. I hope someone sees this to make changes in the practice. Patients should not have to pay and be treated horribly. Disgusting!
My wife went to Doctor Nieves a few weeks ago with pretty severe dizziness and was sent for an ENG test which came back normal, however after the visit i had my wife read a recommended book by Dr. Sarno titled Healing back pain mind over body about how the Medical industry spends Billions making us believe we are sick or require treatment and she literally recovered within two days. On her follow-up appointment today Dr. Nieves was not all happy to see my wife feeling 100% and said the book had nothing to do with it, very close minded and has zero personality or pulse, go somewhere else if you want to be treated with respect.
My Dr here is very effective and super impressive. She has been my partner through this very long journey and I recommend her to everyone I know. So if you have some serious stuff happening in your life come here. And then smile at the front desk, even say something pleasant perhaps, and you will do just fine. I have never had any issues here at all aside from the lack of parking. Which I always see as a good sign. . OH and best of all she is always respectful of my time and actually shows up on time. That s so rare these days.
This office is unbelievable. Half way decent doctors who do not fact check with an atrocious front desk. No one ever picks up the phone. This place could not get its act together if it were to save their lives. The complete disregard for their ail patients is more than just sad.
I had my first visit a couple months ago and I saw Dr. Isa for migraines. I can't say much about the front staff. They interacted with me normally and did not do anything that stood out to me as uncommon so it was fine in my opinion on that first visit. It was a pleasant experience for my first time. Dr. Isa was kind, he explained, he listened and answered my questions. When I do go back I hope to see him again and hope the following experiences will be just as good.
Absolutely awful Office and terrible Doctor. As I read in other reviews, and unfortunately ignored, Dr. Honeycut is too busy talking rather than listening to anything the patient may have to say nor does he ask any questions that literally every other doctor has asked me about my condition. Office staff is not polite and the office manager is ridiculous and unapologetic when dealing with a patient complaint about being kept waiting for 2 hours for a 5 min long appointment! Don't waste your time in this office
I have foot drop and I went to these guys for help. You know how first days go, just a check up with the doc. I was not fond of paying $55 right up front for EVERY appointment I went to. All they did was check my weight, get my blood pressure, and tell me what I already knew. On my third vist, my doctor said he would call another hospital to get medical records. He decided to wait till our next appointment to do this. WIth that said, I waited forever and he came back angry. He had a mean voice and said we can't do anything without those records and sent me home. At least he gave back my $55 on that appointment. The only progress they ever done was get an E.M.G. which showed us nothing. I hate it there, and I don't want to give them a penny more.
Dr. Slansky has been excellent! Won't go back to Dr. Isa, he doesn't follow through on what he tells me he is going to do. Another doctor I go to wanted clinical notes from my last visit with him. She has sent to medical release forms and she still has not received them. This has been going on for about 4 months. Front desk is chaotic. Never get calls back when I leave a message and that includes messages I left on the patient portal.
Daniel Nieves-Quinones, is down right awful, robotic, and not compassionate at all. Would not even help me dig deeper into my condition. Sat on abnormal labs for over a month, which could have been corrected if he or his staff cared enough to call. He was completely content with watching a previously healthy 40 yo man waste away while offering all kinds of awful meds with no diagnosis. I regret moving to Florida and am saddened that I ended up under this guys care. I will always be wondering if I saw a different neurologist sooner, could I have stopped some of the progression more quickly.
I have never had an issue with this office, but I so know that what is important at a doctors office, and that's results from treatments and not how nicely they kissed your boo-boos. I have found the front desk staff to be very organized, and straight to the point. They get their job done. They may not have fake smiles on, try to carry on small talk, or baby talk you, but they are respectful and professional. I have never had to wait longer than 5 min past my appointment time in the lobby. The front desk ladies are on it! From the treatment aspect of Neurology associate, they have helped me get my migraines under control. Migraines that I have been dealing with for almost 20 years. The nurse practitioner there, Christina, is amazing. She takes her time, has great bedside manners and is more than competent in the field of neurology. The doctor she works with, on the other hand, has horrible bedside manners/ people skills, but the NP is thorough enough to where he never questions her recommendations and normally ends up confirming her initial diagnosis. I have recommended this practice to other friends and family that have been equally satisfied with their treatment and results.
So I ve visited this office for my own medical needs in the past and everything was okay, but recently I recommended my boyfriend to this office and it s been a pain even trying to schedule an appointment. He physically visited the office over a week ago with all medical records but one. He was asked to have the previous medical office fax over his records (which he did while still there) and instead of the receptionist checking and verifying that she had received the documents so that she could schedule him she insisted that they would call him to schedule an appointment. Not only that but she was also rude and seemed as if she was in a rush. A week goes by and we haven t heard anything from the office so I called myself to try to reach someone and also inform management of his experience. I was told by another receptionist to leave a voice message for the supervisor instead and she would get back to me even after I asked could she schedule his appointment while over the phone and had they received the last doctors record document. No one knew any information. I left the message for the supervisor and again... still haven t heard anything back. I m not sure what s happened in this office recently but customer service and communication has went down drastically. Unacceptable especially considering that I ve recommended people to this facility!
Absolutely the worst doctors office I have ever been to. Took my mother for an appointment the staff, nurses and doctors are super rude, they treat you like just another number. My mother just had brain surgery for 4 Aneurysms and they had no priority in treating her besides prescribing 6 different medications and saying we'll see how that goes or I will refer you to someone smarter.
