Nice place to shop for home goods in person. Usually good quality furnishings and items. They do not just offer furniture they also sell televisions, desktop computers, laptops, gaming PCs, Apple retailer, home security, pool tables, toys, book, exercising equipment, and much more. There is usually someone around you that is willing to help you and find the best product for your specific needs. My only personal complaint, I wish they sold PC components such as RAM, storage, SSDs, CPUs, towers, and other parts to build a PC. Would be nice and helpful to add those to my NFM CC and be on my way.
I m so disappointed in my first experience with NFM. We ordered our new bed on 11/30- we were told we could receive it the following Saturday 12/7 when we had nothing going on. I was contacted that week to let me know it wouldn t be available until the following Week, we work full time jobs, which is during the delivery hours they informed me of (8-5), so we were not able to get it until the following Saturday 12/14 when again, we had nothing going on. I was then contacted yet again the week we were supposed to receive our bed telling me we could receive it until 12/18, again we work during the week, and we re out of town going forward for the next week for Christmas. I asked if they would be able to deliver first thing Saturday morning, since the last two weekends we were completely open, but this Saturday we had something going on and the rep I spoke to said she could request it but there was no guarantees. Mind you, we sold our bed the on 12/6 since we were supposed to get our bed the next day and the person it was sold to already had lined up a truck to haul it. I also had informed the rep of that. No care, nothing. Next time I will go somewhere else.
After wasting 90 minutes putting it together to realize they sent 2 of the same side pieces and then having to vart it all back and return it an wait 30 to have it reloaded into the vehicle and then drive back home and start from scratch. Not a fun experience at all and then having the wait time for something that wasn't our fault should have been handled differently... NFM really dropped the ball on this one.
Cheaper than Amazon's price and fast-free shipping too. Can't beat that!

I was a bit irritated that I walked by associates and wasn't asked If I needed any help,but Dan in bedding came through. Maybe sensed my frustrations and with a smile asked me if I needed any help. Recommended quality matresses in my price range and I left very happy, the purchase was a breeze. Also found out we went to the same high school! V's up!!

I give this business 3 stars because of the way their financing works. You must spend so much to qualify and then a second form of payment for a deposit. The sales person was really good and, of course has no control over their shoddy business practice. I suggest going someplace else but they seem to have the only game in town on lots of things. Put the small man out of business so their owner can become richer and then spend his money in foreign countries. Too bad.won't do business here again, I'll do without.

Though they're certainly not the only gig in town for furniture or electronics, NFM has been our go-to place for many years. Generally, their service and item quality is good, and they've really stepped up their online game as of late, though the updated website and Google Chrome via desktop kept crashing while attempting to order.
Nevertheless, for those of us who appreciate a brick-and-mortar store to decide how to spend hard-earned money, you really cannot beat NFM.

Love this store!! Went in for a grill and mattress, got both, plus lamps. Also bought a guest room bed and mattress that I absolutely love. When our house was being completed we bought a washer/dryer, all kitchen appliances, bar stools and a dining room table, and area rug.
All the salespeople were great and the delivery s were when expected

Earlier in the the day I was looking for a phone and no one would help me. I stood there and watched employees talking to friends that were there to talk. Stood there for over 5 min and I walked to another Dept to get help. Then he finally got me someone to help me and she knew nothing about the phones I was interested in and she acted like I was bothering her. So I left to get my son . I came back later that night to buy the phone and the must have rembered me and most of them walked off and the same woman finally came to help me with the attitude of well I guess I'll help you. I bought the phone at your store because of your reputation . Not because of you non willing employees. It was not like I wanted to finance the phone or start a new plan . I was there to pay for phone outright. Just a simple transaction.

Spending big money is not fun for me, mainly in part, the lack there of! I could have purchased my washer and dryer online, but I like to touch and see! So I pretty much knew the brand and pair that I wanted but it doesn't hurt to browse before you take the plunge! Word of advice to all sales people, just because you are trying to make your big sale of the day to someone, don't make a potential buyer get out of your way to attempt to do it! Guess what? I bought and they did not! This by no means reflects negatively towards NFM, rude salespeople are everywhere, thankfully I was taken care of by a very sweet person who was able to answer all of my questions! I am looking forward to the happy pair being delivered on Monday to do a major amount of laundry as my washer died 3 weeks ago! Thank you to Sherry K for your kind approach and professionalism.
A trip to Nebraska Furniture Mart to research laptop computers resulted in the purchase of two Lenovo laptops with the assistance of an extremely knowledgeable sales associate, Nathan Grey. Nathan was patient and answered all of my questions, no matter how unimportant they were. I had a list of features I thought I had to have and he asked questions to determine how I would be using the laptop to suggest one in my price range with the features I wanted most. My daughter was with me and purchased the second laptop for herself after listening to Nathan. Excellent service from a very pleasant associate.

We needed to buy a new lift chair for my wife. Your sales man was very knowledgeable about the different lift chairs NFM offers and was able to help us select one that best met my wife s needs. He understood the urgency for us to get a new chair as my wife s previous chair stopped worrying. He made sure the one we wanted was in stock and that we would be able to pick it up that day. The service he provided was top notch. It is employees like him who keep us coming back to NFM.

DO NOT shop here if you don't live within 10 miles of their stores! Their practices are vile. Nebraska Furniture Mart refused to ship me my item AFTER I paid for it! I had to call my bank to dispute it because they took my money without shipping me my item! After calling them multiple times to confront them on this, they tell me because of the holiday season they are cautious to ship out of state and I MAY BE FRAUD! What the heck! Who is the fraud here, again!? But it gets even better! I had to call them to find out my order wasn't going to be shipped and that it was cancelled, BUT THE MONEY WASN'T CANCELLED. Even when they said they would call me to fix this issue they never did. And the last time I called them, the saleswoman LUCY N, hanged up on me! She's the one who took my order, took my money, and then disappeared from the scene. Horrid customer service!

After searching at lemgth to find a sales associate to help, a relatively easy process to purchase living room furniture. Sales associate was patient, fairly friendly and definitely knowledgeable. Unfortunately special orders are ineligible for loyalty sale letter received in mail, so no sale pricing or free in-home delivery. This is likely buried in the very tiny fine print. NFM dominates the local furniture market with its wide selection and value.
Besides having to ask 2 associates to help me it was fine. I think they were more interested in the football game going on.

I went looking for a gaming chair. I asked a sales person where the chairs where at. He was all the way across from where the chairs where. But he walked us all the way over and showed us the the chairs. Then said there is 3 sales people who can answer more of your questions because they are part of the section. It was two guys and a girl. They guys were talking amongst themselves. The girl was to herself. Me and my son started looking at one chair. When we notice one sales guy started playing a game and sitting on one of those chairs. We couldn t test that one out. The other guy was watching him play until he left. The girl sat down on another chair. Not once did any of them say can I help you. There where no other customers around. Then the girl got up and left and then the guy playing the game left. We tested all the chairs and had questions but now no one was around. When then after a bit the guy who was originally playing came back and finally asked if we were ok and had any questions. I did and had a question on the chair we ended up buying. He couldn t answer how the chair came packaged. Which I get cause he doesn t see that part. But the way he answered was like a answer you give sarcastically to let the person know why you would not know the answer. Anyway he got the sale. He explained where to pick up the package. I didn t like that they didn t think to get up from the chairs and automatically offer assistance. If they are tired. Then maybe they need to find a job elsewhere that fits their lifestyle. NFM almost lost my sale. But the price of the gaming chair was reasonable.
Before going to Nebraska Furniture Mart I was at Beat Buy looking for a router. At Best Buy I was simply shown one router for $300. At Nebraska Furniture I went to look at the routers and I was instantly overwhelmed but I was instantly approached by a sales associate. Before recommending anything he asked me a ton of questions before showing me one that would be a good fit. He did not pick the most expensive one off the shelf. He took the time to understand what I needed and asked a nearby expert to confirm he was showing me the right device for me. I am very satisfied with the service I received today.

NFM used to deal a little bit. I kinda miss that. Not everybody has money to burn. But when I picked up my purchase I had an issue. The guys at the warehouse did a great job to resolve it.

We were looking at computers. The salesperson remembered there was one returned unopened, which was on clearance. (It was a gift, exchanged for a different model.) it saved us an extra $200 off the regular sale price. NFM is still our favorite place for furniture and electronics.
The workers here at NFM were complete a**holes. My mom, I, my autistic brother and my other younger brother all went in to buy some movies. We literally stayed in two aisles, as multiple workers began to stare at us. Two workers stood at the end of an aisle we were at, watching us. And as my brother and I walked to a different aisle a different worker came over asking us if we needed assistance. When we told him no, he walked over to an older worker as if reporting back to them like the worker sent him out to see if we needed help or for better words if we were stealing. I mean seriously, we re not sketchy by any means we re checking out kids movies for God s sake and these workers are watching us like hawks like we re gonna steal. I m pretty sure there are better things to do than swarm four family members trying to buy a movie. Such an uncomfortable and ridiculous experience.
