They are really horrible at managing their invento...

They are really horrible at managing their inventory or knowing when something is going to be available. They should not allow their system to pre-order and stick to selling things they have in stock. They ruined a surprise gift by not reading the message to call my mobile and ended up calling the landline and ruined the surprise resulting in a canceled order. I guess I ll take my shopping needs to Amazon exclusively now. After 18 years this seems pretty ridiculous.

We had super help buying the right mattress. Alex had all the answers to our questions and to top it all off he had my husband and me as well as our daughter and her husband buying different mattresses at the same time and he put it all together easily.
We also purchased a toaster oven and had great help there too.
We truly appreciate the checkout system at each purchase rather than a checkout line.

I do not know if this practice is legal?. separating that problem the store has very varied offers of products.

I had the best customer service while shopping at NFM! Every staff member I came in contact with had a smile and ready to help. My sales person was patient and very helpful. I will definitely shop there again and considering they sell everything I'm sure I'll be back soon!

This store is way too big. Trying to find what you want or need sometimes you have to walk a long way just to look at mattresses, or futons. There way to many coutches to choose from and there chairs all look alike.

Nebraska Furniture Mart cannot be beat for quality of service, value and selection! Excellent customer service when I just purchased a huge TV for a very low price! I have also purchased a couch and loveseat from them that is now a year old and I still love it!

Great experience at NFM. Found a laptop on the website, went to the store, got immediate help from a knowledgeable sales professional (Joe). Made my selection and walked away with the computer, didn't even have to wait in line at the checkout.

Went to the cashier and was told that i had to go to the department that i found product i wanted and have them write it up. After shopping for an hour as it was i'm done. You guys lost a sale. NFM has the best selection of any store I ve seen nationwide. And their service and delivery folks are terrific. Unfortunately, the new website is so bad, it makes shopping nearly impossible.any core features have been removed, and the refresh speed is truly awful. Hoping they will get a new rev up and running quickly to restore it to at least the quality of site they had previously.

Asked salesperson what different prices where in small print on tag. She gave me the explanation. So I specifically asked what price was for the box I had in my hand and she quoted the sale price.

Got to the register and it rang up differently.after about 15 minutes of trying to figure out discrepancy it was decided this was for a promotional on a specific color which to no one's surprise was out of stock and will be available in a couple weeks.

Wouldn't have been so irritating if it wasn't for a gift and if I hadn't specifically asked what the price was for the box I had in hand.

my purchase of a recliner went quickly and efficiently, no waiting at all !!
But when I went to pick it up at the warehouse, the two young men refused to put it in my trunk even though I signed a release ! It was a very cushy chair and I know it could have been smashed down enough to put it in the trunk, and the top part of the chair could have gone in our back seat very easily ! We had waited about 30 minutes only to be turned away without our merchandise. Now I have to pay a LARGE delivery fee and wait several days. I believe the men should have at lease made an attempt.

The website works pretty well except for the filter buttons when using the phone. Biggest problem we had was there were three delivery people and for some reason the delivery was done by one man who decided to literally drop it off on our porch. He was carrying it with one arm over his shoulder and dropped the TV box from about 3 feet off the ground. Why not have 2 people carry the box by its handles like it was intended? I hope it works still and doesn t run into problems down the line because of this.

Charlita Edmonson was extremely nice and helpful. We didn't buy anything in her area, however. Later we were assisted by Jordan P (x24483). He was not as ambitious to help us and explain things to us. I still don't know what I have to do to convert my gas range to an electric one that I bought.

Found what I wanted and checked out with no problem whatsoever. I decided to do drive through pick up because UPS delivery was quite a bit for 2 small items... if you arrange for "pick up" while in the store, you are given specific instructions where to go. While I figured it out after researching it, it would have been nice if those instructions were simply included on my receipt.

Michael was amazing at helping me pick out a new bed and bedroom set to replace the one that was mine and my husband's. My husband passed away after taking his own life on November 5th and Michael was completely understanding of how hard it was for me and my 2 daughters to be replacing our 15 year old bed and non matching dressers with an actual set. He was compassionate and empathetic to our situation and walked all over the store with us as we picked out the perfect bed and the perfect bedroom set. He is an amazing worker and I will definitely be looking for him when I come back in to get the lamps and decorations for the bedroom. He deserves a raise or a bonus for how awesome and kind and patient he was! Thank you so much to Michael and Nebraska Furniture Mart for making one of the hardest things I had to do just a tad bit easier by having someone so amazing to help me.

Let me start by saying I had wonderful service from Marcia is the carpet department and Marco in the hard flooring department. I also had great service from the installers of my carpet and luxury vinyl plank flooring. They all deserves 5 stars!

My issue started when I realized a small closet (approximately 2 1/2 by 3 feet) was missed and did not get carpet installed. There WAS the tack strip and carpet pad, but NO CARPET. I called and spoke with Gabby from "customer service" for flooring and explained how there was a small closet missed. I explained there were 2 large rolls of carpet left over in the house. After several phone calls back and forth over a few days (she said she had to check with her manager Cam on what could be done) she informs me that the guy who came out to initially measure the flooring did not include that small closet in the estimate (even though the entire upper level was getting new carpet!) and I would need to pay an additional TRIP CHARGE of $65 to have someone come out and complete the job. I left a message with Cam asking if he would call me back to discuss the issue, I have yet to hear from the "manager of customer service" but after that message to Cam, I did receive a message from Gabby asking me to call back and pay the $65. After paying OVER $6500 for new flooring, NFM REFUSES TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS/SERVICES and will not come out unless I pay the $65 trip charge.

I have been a loyal customer of over 25+ years and I have spent thousands of dollars at NFM over the years. I will no longer shop at a place where CUSTOMER SERVICE is unfortunately lacking! There are other furniture stores in Omaha Nebraska who will be getting my business in the future.

The salesperson, Gabriel, was rude, didn t even ask my name or greet me, and was pushy the entire time. Just seemed focused on making the sale. I don t know if I would make my next big purchase here.

Update 3 pm: The 1st agent said delivery would be in 10 days. I had to hang up because I had another call coming in. I called a 2nd time and they offered a discount which I was grateful for. They said it is manufacturer fault which I understand. Then the 2nd agent said the delivery would now be 2 weeks instead of 10 days. So we re being given different info. No one would ve reached out to notify delivery was extended again if I didn t call a 2nd time. Agent said they cannot deliver 1 couch now and the rest later, otherwise I will be charged 2 delivery fees.

06/21/20 - 2 pm:
I purchased 3 couches at the end of May and they were scheduled to be delivered on Fathers Day. Then my mom purchased an additional tv stand and asked them to deliver it all together. I received an automated phone call 24 hours before the scheduled delivery confirming delivery time and assumed it was going to be delivered together. When the delivery truck arrived, it was only carrying the tv stand. We assumed the couches were on another delivery truck. Per customer service, they tried to contact me 3 weeks before the scheduled delivery that the couches were delayed by 10 days. They did not call the phone number associated with the couch order and there is phone log proof. They may have attempted to call my mom s phone but never attempted to call me which was the associated phone number on the couch order. We had already thrown away old couches because we were expecting a delivery. Now my 80 year old grandparents don t have anywhere to sit for 10 days. When given all the options, their response was to cancel or drive an hour to pick out new couches. I know they had 1/3 couches and good customer service would ve offered to deliver at least 1/3 while we wait for the other products. More so angry that my 80 year old grandparents will have to use lawn chairs waiting for delivery.

Purchased a very nice Flexsteel sofa at a great price. Before going, I researched NFM's "on display" stock so I could have my choices narrowed down to try out before I even got there. Had 5 sofas on my list & Josh, the salesman, showed me where they all were. Only took me 15 minutes to test & decide on the one that suited me best! I wouldn't buy furniture anywhere else.

Salesperson was friendly, helpful, and quickly completed my purchase. I chose to pickup at Warehouse 1 where the person delivering the products to my car was also friendly, courteous, and quickly loaded the products into my car.
The price of the merchandise was very reasonable.

I had two issues with my recent experience. In short they are as follows: significant misquote over the phone and salesman reluctance to inquire about any shareholder or friends and family discount. Both issues are described in more detail below.

1. I called ahead and received a quote for price per square foot of carpet pad. I was told $.22 for the same pad I had purchased previously in 2015. When I arrived at the store the best price I was able to get was $.35 per square foot. I did not have the gentleman s name who provided the quote as I assumed nfm employees would be properly trained in quoting prices. I realize prices may have increased over the past four years. My irritation was with the misquote and improperly set expectation.

2. After discovering the issue above I was not thrilled and the salesman was little help, however I really had no choice but to proceed so I did. I informed the salesman that I was a Berkshire Hathaway shareholder. He immediately told me that was irrelevant this time of year. Which from my recollection is false based on past experience; typically in the past I was then offered the friends and family rate. Maybe the policy has changed, but I am unaware. I then inquired about friends and family rate. Again he immediately told me it wouldn t make a difference. He seemed unwilling to even check. I requested that he please check. At which time he did and I received close to a 10% discount. The discount was nice however why was the inquiry not made when I stated I was a shareholder? Also, why did I have to push the sales rep to check for friends and family price?

Overall this was not a large monetary difference to me but simply poor service and borderline deceptive. As such I was diasappointed with my experience on the sales floor.

Fast, easy and pick up was wonderful. Lots of cars...

Fast, easy and pick up was wonderful. Lots of cars in line but because all I was picking up was a small electronic purchase and not furniture or appliances, the young man helped to direct traffic so that I could leave as soon as I received my item and not have to wait behind all the other vehicles.
