I bought a 1998 Mercedes E300TD drove it home to Florida and decided to keep it ran great. only problem was Turbo waste gate solenoid which the kind folks at National Auto Warehouse sent me a new one to install here in Florida. every thing works as should in a 1998 automobile I am very pleased with their patience and help with purchase, Very professional all paper work expertly done no problems here in Floriduh. Great car buying experience for my 2001 BMW 525i Touring. Learned of NAW from a friend who was a previous employee that vouched for their attention to detail and quality of inspections/reconditioning. Felt confident that my purchase was properly inspected and any necessary items/repairs were addressed appropriately and truthfully. I am local, so was able to stop in, discuss purchasing options, test drive, etc. Great experience and would recommend for anyone else. Great sales, great repairs, and they deal in quality vehicles. I am so pleased with my experience with National Auto Warehouse. I spoke with Eric on the phone several times about the BMW 325xi wagon I was looking at online. He went above and beyond to make sure the car was serviced and ready when I drove down from Nashville to purchase it, shared details from the Auto Check report from me, and answered all the questions I had about the vehicle. When we had an issue with the key before driving off, Eric and his service technician stayed late to fix the problem so that we could drive back to Nashville without issues. We have followed up with him since, and I will say this is BY FAR the best experience I've had buying a used car, or any car really. You can tell that these folks really do care about their customers, and I especially think that Eric is the most solid guy I've met in this industry so far. I had recently posted a review (that I have now deleted) based on the experience my son had after buying a F250 from National Auto Warehouse. At that time I was extremely frustrated because the truck had engine problems before he made it back to his base in Colorado. The warranty that NAW gave did specifically say the repairs had to be done at their shop in Knoxville which made it difficult and costly for us to have the truck hauled back. I have since cooled off and visited Brent at NAW and he did pay the shipping cost and said he will make the repairs here. At this time, I have improved my rating on this company assuming they will make a quality repair and I will drive it back to CO to my son. Lesson learned, always take a used vehicle to a trusted shop for an inspection before buying no matter who you buy it from. NEW UPDATE: I am now a completely satisfied customer. National Auto Warehouse had the repairs done by an exceptional Ford mechanic (who I just happen to know personally). I have apologized to Brent face to face for my (and my family and friends) comments which were purely made out of frustration over a used vehicle that had problems. Turns out the whole problem was caused by a defective gasket which was not the dealers fault. NAW has the truck running perfect and I will be taking it back to my son in CO. I WOULD NOW RECOMMEND NATIONAL AUTO WAREHOUSE TO ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A USED VEHICLE.

In Nov of 2010, I purchased a 2004 Ford F250 Lariat. Other than routine maintenance I've not had any issues with my truck. I would definitely recommend NAW to anyone looking for a used vehicle. I bought a 2001 Porshe 911 from National Auto Warehouse. The process went perfect! I found the vehicle advertised for sale on Ebay. Prior to my purchase and seeing the vehicle, I had Brent and Mike deliver the car to the Knoxville Porsche Dealership for a pre-purchase inspection (which went well). Brent and Mike were very helpful in the delivery and pickup at the Porsche dealership. When I showed up to take delivery of the vehicle, Mom and Dad (Don) handled all the title and tags quickly and we were on our way back to Asheville, NC within the hour. National Auto Warehouse is top notch. And I love the car!
We recently purchased a vehicle at National Auto Warehouse. The experience could have been much better had the dealership had the car ready to sell. First, they knew we were coming for at least two days prior. We had put a deposit down on the car we purchased so they knew that we would be traveling from middle TN to drive it, it's not a case where we drove up to look and they were not able to be prepared. Second, within the first minute of driving the car, my husband and father in law heard loud popping noises coming from the vehicle and asked to have the mechanic look at it. If this car had been driven at all this would have been noticed and could have been fixed before their arrival. The strut support was replaced and seems to have solved this issue. The car was pulling hard to the right when driven, again this should have been noticed. They did take it for an alignment, but this should have been done prior to us showing up. Next, the car was missing the jack and they replaced it with the jack from another similar model. Again, should have been noticed. The keyless entry pad was not and is not working, which we knew before purchasing but, in our opinion, a thorough dealership would correct this problem before offering a car for sale. The car is missing a small plastic cap to the rear wiper arm. We knew this prior to purchase, however, this part can be ordered from Rock Auto for $2.44 + shipping. In my opinion, that's something a dealer should spend the small amount of time and money to have right. There was a large, rust colored (NOT rust) scuff on the roof that we were able to wipe off right after purchasing with VERY little effort. Again, a lack of attention to detail. In the past, while working with large dealers, the car we purchased would have a full tank of gas and be ready to go. That was not the case here. My husband and father in law arrived at the dealership when they opened at 10am and did not leave until around 2pm, waiting for things that should have already been handled. We did purchase the vehicle, but the experience of working with this dealer was less than stellar.

Afterwords he took care of the upcoming required brake service as well as an oil change and other needs. Drove away very happy. I was promptly greeted by Sydney who answered all of my questions regarding the vehicle I was looking for. She arranged for a test drive and spent a lot of time answering my questions. I then met Mike who is very knowledgeable from a mechanical standpoint. Finally, Brent helped me with the closing of the deal and again answered all my questions. We recently bought a pick up truck here, and we had a GREAT experience from start to finish! I would recommend them to anyone. Everything was easy, done in a timely manner, and the family was friendly and personable. (It's a family owned business.) A few days later we had our mechanic look it over, and he found a few minor issues, all of which they (National Auto) fixed for us at no extra charge. We will definitely consider buying vehicles in the future here, when the time comes.

These guys love cars! Mike isincredibly knowledgeable and passionate about VW- specifically TDI's- and really a lot of other makes and models. I didn't feel rushed or like they were trying to pull one over on you at all. (Brent was out sick that day...) Completely different than other "used" car buying experiences. It has been a tough process up to here... Bought a van from them and it did not drive right from the start. They didn't want to fix anything and said that is they way it drives. Long story short in the 2 months we owned it we had to replace the catalytic converter, a C02 sensor and put in a whole new transmission for $3800. I talked to the owner Mike and he didn't seem to care at all. I told him we wanted our money back, just what we paid for the vehicle, which would include over $5000 in new parts and he would not do it. He made us feel bad bringing it back 4 times, not a place I would recommend spending your hard earned money! Edit after your reply: Here are the details of what happened: Bought van Called the next day saying we had issues brought it back, had to cordinate a ride said it was fixed, picked up, had the same exact issues had to call back again, and drop it off again for the same issues even told you what was wrong with it, you said no... we will just replace the c02 sensor, once again picked up after having to cordinate ride to pick up. Once again same issue and then tried to meet with Michael the owner and he dodged me and sent out his sales manager who twisted words and truths. Then we had to cordinate and bring it to VW after National Auto Warehouse said they brought in an expert from VW. I doubt that happened. Anyway we took it to VW and they told us what we told them from the start it needed a catalytic converter. In the reply he says he didn't have to do that, well they did othewise we would of gotten/requested a full refund under the lemon law as it did not work from day one. So after taking time to drop off and pick up we got our van back. After all this is solved some of the problems but we still had issues with the transmission. The owner also said they did not have to fix issues that make the car drive after its sold? That says a lot! I took it back there and saw one of the National Auto Warehouse mechanics accidentally put oil in the transmission fluid. It was only 3-5 ounces, and I called him on it and he quickly put the quart out of site and put something different in it. He said, oh no that is what the new transmission fluid looks like (yeah just like 10w30). Long story short we are lucky the van came with a warranty so we had to once again take our time to go to a transmission place and get an entire new transmission! Besides the time and the hassle it still costed us $700 out of pocket because the warranty does not cover everything! Our van still does not start, this is a separate electrical issue. Long story short it has been 3 months since purchase, our van does not run, the owner would not purchase it back, even with a brand new transmission. It has been a terrible experience.... unfortunately I believe they knew there was something wrong with the van before they sold it to us and skirted the issue for over a month. You deserve better.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our new car with National Auto. It was a very easy process from finding the car we wanted on their website to a test drive to purchase. They were very nice and did not pressure or hassle us in any way. Definitely not the typical car lot vibe . If you are looking for an easy, low pressure buying environment with no sketchy sales practices or arm twisting, this is a good choice. These guys are great! I am a straight shooter yall. I am a difficult person to deal with. I have no filter and you either like me or hate me. My father has been extensively searching the internet for a BMW 5 series or MB E-Class. We had been to several dealers in the are and none of the cars were as they were depicted on the ads. Enter NAW. The car was 100% exactly as described. Brent was upfront with an issue they were diagnosing, presenting 100% transparency on the deal. This was at closing. I told Brent that my father would like the car and I would go pick him up ASAP. Brent graciously waited for me to drive to Maryville and return, then test drive the car, and also explain the diagnosis and that NAW would ensure the car was 100% upon delivery. We left a very fair deposit to ensure we would purchase the car upon repair. These people operate differently. There is no hassle, there is no cover up, they allow all the time you want to look the car over. I will be back again.
I had been shopping for a car for some time and found National Auto Warehouse online. They had a great selection and when I found a vehicle I was interested in and went to their lot the experience was exceptional. Everybody at the dealership is courteous and professional and they clearly place great value on customer service. My questions were answered quickly, they offered all the appropriate information, but there was no push to make a decision or hard sell tactics. The entire process was a respectful, professional, business transaction. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend this dealer. My husband, Jerry, contacted the Knoxville, TN, dealership regarding a 2009 Volkswagon Jetta Sportswagon. He visited with Brent extensively about that vehicle, price, condition , etc.. We live in Utah, he flew to Knoxville, was met and finalized the deal, to our satisfaction. Jerry returned to Utah, total miles 2196, with average miles per gallon 41.68. Jerry acknowledged that he drove at the full rated speed limit most of the way. We are very pleased with all elements of the transaction and really enjoy the Jetta, & Brent was extremely helpful and businesslike, also, a pleasure to talk with!!! I bought a E 500 4matic Mercedes from Brent, The business is family owned and they have been in business for over 10plus years. The service from test drive to driving off the lot was quick and easy, my Benz is in mint shape and there were a few very minor mechanical issues that were fixed within 24 hrs. I will definitely buy from them again and have already sent a friend in which he bought. But Love my Mercedes and will be in touch if any problems. You will have a great experience if you do buy.
Buyer beware: Check the vehicle's mileage against what is stated on the sticker. I know used cars will be driven for test drives and maintenances, but that should never amount to hundreds of miles added to the odometer (like what I saw on one vehicle). What's worse is when the dealer openly admits family members are driving the cars for sale around for their own private use, even "picking the kids up" in them, so that they aren't even on the lot when you come to take a look. (Meanwhile her significantly older version of the same car was on the lot. Gee, I can see why she prefers the one for sale!) In the case of that vehicle, it was advertised as a One-Owner car on Carfax, but the dealer has essentially violated that fact. To make up for it, he showed us another one not yet up for sale. Oh by the way, they drove -that- one to a vacation and back! Is there a car on the lot that they -haven't- had a fun time racking up mileage and wear and tear on? I felt like this was a huge breach in trust; what else are they doing (or failing to do) with these cars that they aren't telling the buyer about?
Overall it felt like a very unprofessional, lackadaisical atmosphere. Whatever the price or statistics on the car, I did not feel comfortable shopping there.

The personal experience received from the group at National Auto Warehouse was second to none. My wife and I were in the market for a new to us vehicle. We contacted National about a car that was listed in their inventory. Given the fact that we are located 5.5 hrs away, it was going to take some good planning in order to make our schedules work so that we could test the vehicle. We decided to place a deposit on a Monday so that the car we wanted to see was held until we could make the trek across the state the following Saturday. The Friday prior to our trip, we were notified by family members of a vehicle that was newly available for sale due to another family members health. The following day, the Saturday that we had planned to visit National, I called to inform them that we had decided to go a different route concerning our next vehicle. The staff was very understanding of the situation and promptly refunded our deposit with no questions asked. 1) National did not have to hold the vehicle for us but they did. 2) National could have sold the vehicle regardless of our deposit but they didn't. 3) National could have held a portion of the deposit since they had taken the vehicle off the market specifically for us but they didn't. National is a very personal, local feeling dealer that I would not have any concerns dealing with in the future.
