Definitely drove right by it the first time even with Waze navigation. The staff was very friendly and was quick to offer suggestions on things to do in the area and plugged the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. The decor is interesting to say the least with a focus on 1960s advertising. As for the targeted clientele, well let's just say that "avocado on toast" is on the room service menu. The free ear buds in the minimalist fitness center were a nice touch and the breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection that was continually refreshed right up until breakfast ended at 11.

Comfortable and affordable. Excellent customer service. Very accommodating for marathon participants. Smelly air freshener in the main entrance, but the lobby and rooms are relatively clean air.

I don't know about anyone else, but I expect certain things in a hotel room. The fact that we don't have a refrigerator, nor a microwave, makes me wonder why we spent the money to stay here. I've stayed at a MainStay and a Comfort Inn, and they provided those basic amenities. Never again!

Crowne Plaza Boston-Natick is my go-to Hotel when in the area. Front desk always provides excellent service. Rooms are clean and well updated and the hotel wifi is decently fast. The downstairs bar/restaurant Violet Thorn has great food (small plates) and top shelf liquor. (Johnny Walker Blue & Suntory 12-Year Yamazaki).

This is not your dream hotel for sure, but it's fine for a couple of days on business travel. A nice advantage is the immediate proximity of the Natick mall just across the street. The breakfast buffet is very poor, if you want proper breakfast, better not pay for the buffet, but order directly.

Two stars only because they changed my room pretty easily upon request. I came to Natick for a one day event in the area on December 12th. While this wasn't a work event, my company uses IHG for corporate pricing. Therefore, I've often chosen IHG hotels for both personal and professional purposes. In over two decades of travel, this was only the second time I've had to ask to be moved to a different room. While the check-in was nice and smooth, the initial room was HORRIBLE! There was an old water leak which was quite evident on the ceiling. They strategically placed a chair over the old, torn, disgusting and water stained carpet. The paint was peeling all over the room and it was just disgusting in general. They moved me to the top floor (just one floor up) and the king room was entirely different; quite lovely compared to the first room. To add insult to injury, I tried to place a room service order. I called back an hour after placing the order only to find out that they never filled the order. They were neither professional or apologetic. At the end of the night, I had a headache and vowed never to stay at a Crowne hotel again. Absolutely ridiculous!

Outstanding experience overall... Staff was friendly, accommodations were very clean... the room itself was huge and luxurious, honestly making me wish I spent more time in it. Room service and the hotel restaurant "The Pantry" was fantastic, if slightly pricey. I'm already planning another visit to the area and will try to stay there again.

I stay at this hotel once a year for a week for work. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I come in directly from the airport and do not rent a car. They have a great shuttle service at the hotel and they are always willing to run you to the grocery store or where ever you need. The WiFi works well and the rooms are clean. Funky retro atmosphere. Wish they provided a continental breakfast of some sort but that's the only downfall.

This hotel has serious cleaning, operational and housekeeping problems with the rooms. Drawers had dust, the hair dryer was so dirty that my wife did no want to use it and had to be changed, during the first 4 nights the room was cleaned 50% of the days and had to order new towels.

I was awarded only 5,000 IHG Reward points fot the first inconvenience and 9 breakfasts for the second inconveniences. In other brands, the first and or second day would have been free of charge. Reception personnel was courteos, but housekeeping lacks human touch.

This hotel gets one star for the fact the corporate made up for a horrific situation. I will never return here. After calling to place a reservation the individual on the phone said that giving the card number for the hold would suffice as I did not have the physical card. This was reassured TWICE. Upon arrival the front desk said they could not keep the reservation without a card transaction physically to swipe. After going and putting cash on a temporary debit card which took overall thirty minutes I returned. The front desk proceeded to use my card under the name of the guest who called on the phone but had no connect to the temporary debit.

Overall we had to move rooms three times in the middle of the night. The first room was unkept and smelled like body odor. It also was scary because it was on the first floor. The hotel lied about not having other rooms on a higher floor which was requested when I intially
found I was on the first floor.

Calling the front desk they said the only service for food or drink was the hotel bar which they claimed was open. I went to the bar to find a married man arguing at a woman who was fiening off his advances. Highly uncomfortable.

I requested the representatives send a fridge to the room and asked if it was stocked which the woman said it was. Maybe she didn't understand English or just plain didn't listen. She told me I would be charged I said fine. Later an empty fridge was delivered. Which was sent back. The odor was so bad that I called to be moved.

The second room ~ had a broken ac which was combusting and smelled horrible. With asthma this was very difficult and I called several times to the front desk which they did not answer the calls. After waiting twenty minutes for them to call back I walked down to the desk. They claimed they had never received a call. Hard to believe when the room phone in every hote I've ever been to has a direct line to the front desk.

After being kept up and waiting they finally moved to another room. Which they claimed they never had at the start. This room too was unkempt and did not have working ac.

I decided after the rude customer service that I'd stay somewhere else. I was told I would receive a 50% refund which at that point was enough for me to cut my losses. They said that I would need to call the manager though.

I proceeded to call later to check up on this. The girl who answered said I would be issued a full refund. I had only been there for an hour anyway and most of the time was spent moving room to room. She said the manager was not in but would be in ten minutes. Then the manager named Jeff proceeded to magically appear grab the phone and tell me that I would receive no refund. The manager was rude, told me I was lying, and made no attempt to come to a reasonable agreement. He claimed to have notes ~ which would of been helpful if they truly were there! He said there was nothing he could do.

I then called corporate. Found out I am a rewards member - the desk never had checked. He said the hotel had every power to refund me. Corporate then proceeded to treat me as a customer which one would expect in any buisness dealings.

The hotel itself is awful, the employees are at best rude and misinformed, it is not a safe environment, and I will never ever return. Worst experience ever. I spent more time dealing with the horrible employees than I did within the hotel itself.

Do yourself a favor go somewhere else! A motel 6 is better than this hotel.

Excellent service, room service was prompt and high quality. Room itself and all accomodations were clean and aesthetivally pleasing, I would have liked to have a mini fridge in the room but the experience was overall outstanding

I have never felt more attacked in my life he was driving a white fan that said (crowne plaza) so it was indeed a employee. Spoke to management aswell

Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend, and enjoyed the hotel very much. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The place is decorated in a retro 1970's motif, which was very different & unique. The kids enjoyed walking around the hotel & discovering different areas to stage photos. We did have an issue with a non-working TV in one room, but once we brought it to their attention, they took care of it for us. No complaints for us - it was a good place to stay on our visit to Boston.

Great hotel. Staff was personable and helpful. The decor was fun and trendy. The room was good, but I've had other king rooms that were more spacious. Would have also been nice to have a refrigerator. The bar was busy for a Monday night, and the service was still prompt.

The overall ambiance was funky and fun, the rooms had that rich, dark decor that most hotels are employing, and it was located in an area with a lot of shopping and eating options. The room service was above average and the menu was creative. The restaurant and bar looked interesting although we didn't eat or drink there, as we opted for room service. Oh, and the fitness room was nicely done with free earbuds in case a guest had forgotten theirs at home. There were numerous little touches that made this seem like a boutique hotel, rather then a chain property.

This is a 3 1/2 Star Hotel and it shows. It s right on the boarder of being a better Hotel, but for the price, it is a great value. The location is great and the staff is pleasant.

The down side is the staff is inconsistent in service and the rooms are not all the same in comfort. We were there for a week and switched from room to room. So had a lot of time to experience all they had.

A pet peeve of mine in hotels is the HVAC system. They can be so loud and annoying. Some hotels have solved this problem but not this one. If you re a light sleeper, I suggest going into the room and switching on and off the heating/cooling system to see if it is too loud or annoying for you. I enjoyed the hotel enough to overlook my nights of being woken by the system going on and off. The last room s system sounded like a jet engine revving up. Thought setting it to a lower setting would stop it from turning on but that just made it worse. Because it would turn on and wake you up to be spiteful and then turn off quickly. Oh well, you get what you pay for.

The staff at the Pantry were always nice (always tip your waiter/waitress people, even if it s a buffet). The front desk is where it was inconsistent. 80% of the time they were accommodating. My advice to the hotel is not to let bureaucracy get in the way of great service. Didn t go into the bar area but it looks nice and seemed to always have people in there. Should do a better job of keeping the common area clean. Dusting the crevices and wiping down the elevator panels should be done every day. Gross to see dirty elevator panels day after day or accidentally see dust bunnies near where you re sitting.

Let I said, could be a better hotel. But then the price would be higher. Save your money for the mall across the street.

I stayed overnight on October 1 to October 22nd. The hotel was terrific! Check in was quick and painless. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and contained all of the necessary amenities. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. The bed was very comfortable with a pillowtop mattress and comforter. The hotel was not too noisy at night (even though it is in a major highway). Check out was very quick and simple. But they do not offer a receipt at checkout, I was told it would be mailed to me.

Good

Great hotel, nice rooms, pleasant staff.

Great hotel, nice rooms, pleasant staff.
Will definitely stay here again.
Two small things:
1. There is no minifridge in the room (330)
2. Ordered 2 fruit plates from room service with breakfast. Both had shrivelling grapes and dry unfresh melons.
Other than that, the restaurant has a great menu and the food is prepared well. The restaurant staff are very attentive and accurate.
