Amazing place to visit. If you live close then really good annual memberships and if you are visiting for a little while then great multi attraction tickets available. The best thing is the shuttle. Better to not go on the weekend as the que for the tours was over 1.5 hours for each and a little lucky dip. Well worth the visit.

I've wanted to take my kids here for a couple of years and it didn't disappoint. Highlights to me were the Space Shuttle and 747 replicas, the true Saturn V rocket (don't miss it by skipping the building at Rocket Park), and the historic Mission Control. The interactive museum kept the kids entertained for most of the day.

Houston's most worthwhile attractions! The parking fee is $ 5. Our family annual card can be entered by four people for an unlimited number of times. It is only about $ 100, which is very cost-effective! Children love it, there is a small train to do, enter the real space center!

If you are gonna come here, come with some other space geeks, as people have a tendency to rush through the place, as it's pretty huge. The front part has a large collection of space mission artefacts, space suites, various modules, a trip through the space shuttle, and after that there is a train that takes you through the actual space center, where you can see the command center, as well as the rocket park. There you can admire the huge Saturn rocket, which really brings into perspective what an enormous undertaking the space program is.

this is were we had the command station for the rocket that flew to the moon and those famous word's from the moon to the station ''houston we have a problem'' this is a really big honor to have a tram ride take you to the station the rockets, and the making of space suits and they have fun activites for the kids like the angry bird's play house and 3-d rides and some times reptile encounter's but for special times and i'll will be back to the Johnson space center.

Over half the exhibits were not working. Very frustrating that there is no guide pamphlet so to plan the day. Very long lines for everything and at 2:00 we got in line for tram to the training center we were told the line was 2 hours and the tour was 1 hour so to prepare for 3 hours. At 3 o clock we were told we would not make the last last tram ride to the training center. Why couldn t I have been told that an hour earlier. I downloaded the APP so to experience the center better and it only worked once the whole trip. Ridiculous price for nothing Very disappointing.

Not like it use to be. Many of the areas are now off limits. They charge for things that use to be free with admission. Food is movie theatre prices. Tour train is so so. Saturn rocket is the only perk. Sad, real sad. I guess they are trying to make up for reduced government funding. Its greal for little kids.

We had a blast going to NASA this weekend we took family hat came from out of town. We have been here for 3 years and this was our first visit. The tram tour was amazing I was bummed that the elevator for mission control was down so we were not able to visit that area. Also my only complaint was the fact that the family/handicap accessible restroom has a tiny baby changing table that is not suitable to change a child/adult on who is wheelchair bound I would love to see some type of bench or something that would make it safer and easier to change my kids on we ended up placing the garbage can under it to help support my boys to change them. Other than that it was a wonderful place with so much to do ! The boys loved looking around at everything. We loved the different exhibits as well! They have elevators to get to all the sites which was super helpful in getting around !

I am currently an intern here and the campus here is about as high-tech as you can get! Huge VR labs, a wall of monitors, simulators for Apollo, shuttle, and ORION as well as mockups and real rockets!

The structures are massive, I had not seen something huge like that before. Its a nice place to visit if you are interested in spacial and museum things. Otherwise chances are that you will get bored.

First I thought it would be an "ok" visit until we did the tour inside the Nasa campus! It was so cool and the guide was well- informed! It's totally worth spending 3 to 4 hours there. I would come back If I'm in Houston again!

It is a historic facility but in need of some upgrades to improve the visitors experience. Had to wait 2+ hours in line to see mission control for about 10 min. presentation. Restrooms over capacity. Visited on Sunday December 29th 2019.

Excellent experience. For those in Houston it is very worth going. Schedule to spend at least 4 hours because there are so many things to know, lots of information to read, as well as presentations and guided tours. There is a food court inside.

Well if you compare this to Kennedy Space Center then it's pretty pathetic. I worked at JSC for 8 years. I will say the tour is by far incredibly boring. They say this building they do yada yada, but they don't show anything. The only cool part is rocket park, which by the way you can go to the nasa gate and see for free..just tell the guard you want to see rocket park.

The only other exhibit that is cool is the real boeing carrier.
Parking is a rip off, and the food is disgusting.

No Real Astronauts hang around Space Center Houston unfortunately. Most of them are in Building 4 which you don't get to go in.

Enjoy, but try to get a coupon cause you will be disappointed if you pay full price for this.

Not a worth of money at all. I did not see anything that inspires myself rather than a bunch of ancient machines and history of spacecraft, what cost $25 per person. No discount for student and 10% of entrance fee for seniors. Lack of interactivities. The most interactive thing here is the yogurt-making machine. The line for the tram was longer than the distance between the Earth and the Moon. Not much to discover and not many items on display. Perhaps I prefer what is existence on Earth to Moon's rock and sand. It is a good educative spot for children to learn about space and universe, though. However, I would not recommend any of my friends to come as there were many other better places with free to a reasonable price in the vast Houston area.

Nice place to visit with your kids. Fun & educational.

One of the best places to visit around the Houston area. This place is part of Space Center Houston, don't forget to catch the 90-min tram tour to visit this place and the 'NASA Mission Control Center'. There is 60-min tour as well. The only problem is the queue to the trams have long waiting times. (Sometimes)

Opening hours are from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. If you buy tickets online, you can skip the ticket booth lines.

The space center offers two tours, Mission Control and Astronaut Facility. It is crowded
on the weekends and holidays leading to long wait time for both the tours. So I would advise to plan accordingly. The staff is very friendly and the tour guides are very knowledgeable

Very educational day out, I have a 9, 7, and 3 yr old all were kept pretty pretty busy. A couple of cons, all exits are close together so it gets a little muddled hard to enjoy everything seemed like we missed stuff we thought we saw, It really is geared more toward older kids as well 3 yr old defiantly did not enjoy it as much ( kind of expected that though) I would say 9 + would really get the full experience. All in all a good day out, we might return again but not within the next 3 years really is a once in a while thing

Excellent museum, great tours, great diversity of activities to do. Totally educational, feed your curiosity to each corner, the explanation of future missions to Mars, the videos and very informative movies, the route inside the plane and the excellent, exciting ferry and you can not miss the photo the independence plaza, a lot of history in each corner, from the beginning of the space race to the long-term planned missions on Mars, the tour of the control facilities of the mission apollo is excellent, very well explained by the host, the building of Saturn V is impressive and the spaceship is not to say, walls full of history of the first trips.
The excellent gift shop, lots of variety and reasonable prices, a great experience.

You can plan a bonus 2 hrs by going at 3pm, buy a twilight ticket, pay full price then return the next day for a full day.
This is where you come to see what the Orbiter looks like, piggy backed on a 747. The Orbiter is a replica and you can look inside. It is an interesting story on how this idea came to fruition. You can choose to go on the 30min and/or 90min tram tour of the old mission control room, the ISS mock up centre and the mighty Saturn V. The current mission control is on the floor above the historical one that you visit. The mock up facility is where people can train and test things on the ISS.
I found the main visitor centre was quite interesting to understand space exploration from the old Mercury program and Skylab to the ISS and new Orion program. The additional $6 for the audio guide provided insights that you may not get from the info panels. Bring your own food if you value nutrition.

There are various exhibitions and attractions that you can enjoy from children to adults. You can also visit the training center and the control tower by a truck train. It is recommended that the shop is rich in variety.
