I was almost run off the road today by one of your drivers. It was on Milwaukee street in Madison, WI around 4:15 pm on 1/31/2017. He was sitting at the red light as I came up on his right to turn right, as I was waiting for the traffic turning before I could go he decides he wants to turn right he starts to come into my lane, if I wouldn't have pulled forward he would have hit me. Tell your drivers to watch their blind spots because my husband drives semi and it is easy to loose people there. The trailer number was 917.

Aside from having a driver that is friendly and helpful and always willing to load my pallets, whether or not I've set it up in advance, N&M went above and beyond today. I had set up a pallet with them for nationwide shipment and I loaded it on their regular truck instead of on the 3rd party truck they set up for me. When it arrived at their yard, they called me about it and confirmed that I had loaded it wrong. 2 days later it was on the way to where it needed to go... I did it wrong and they made it right. Do not, I repeat, do not use this carrier. They miss pick ups for days in a row and continually tell you they will pu the next day and keep rolling the pick up. Their solution when you call them is we can cancel it if you like not we ll take care of it, not sorry, just we can try and pick up the next day or you can cancel it. Been in this business for 15 years and they are by far the absolute worst carrier in business, if zero stars were an option I d select it. And this isn t one shipment, I m talking every time we use them. Spend the extra money on SAIA or ESTES, their dispatch will actually tell you what they ll do and they actually care about their customers unlike N&M. And FYI do not use Daylight in this area as they use N&M as an agent so you ll be getting this awful service. FYI as of 5.14 my customer wanted to use Daylight/N&M again against my recommendation and they missed a pick up again and said they can t tell me if they can pick up again. DO NOT GIVE YOUR COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS! THEY DO NOT VALUE IT OR WANT TO DO THEIR JOB!

do not ship here, they hire people with no experience on a forklift and train them poorly for a few days. I saw alot of expensive items destroyed. do not worry they will pay you a freight claim, they are used to alot of them.

Since this is a delivery trucking company I am giving them a score based on that alone. We ordered a shipment of Armstrong Tile out of the Chicago area, just two hours North of our location. N&M was the trucking company assigned to deliver. We were told three days and it would be in our hands by the wholesaler. Instead N&M picked up our shipment and took it north to Wisconsin where they dropped it on their dock. When it didn't arrive the wholesaler called them and discovered that the order went out with a request for a lift gate truck, no idea why, since we didn't ask for that. However the very snotty woman in dispatch told them it was waiting on a lift gate truck and since they only had a few of those it was going to be a while before we saw our tile. I called the administration office and spoke with Jeffrey, who was professional and polite, but not very apologetic. He said he would deliver on Monday between 8am and 10am without a lift gate. Fine. So my installer is waiting (again), the customer is pissed, and it's 11:00 and the driver is still not there. So my recommendation is, call a different carrier.

After dedicating close to 70 hours a week for over a year I found better employment (less hours and more pay for the same thing). I was told there would be no 2 weeks served for my notice I put in. That s messed up. Also they filed paperwork late and an education agreement that I agreed to was prorated (incorrectly) and deducted from my final paycheck.

I had a very important shipment coming in to keep my new home construction on track. It was 1711 pounds and they wanted to bring it on a semi truck that weighed 16 tons empty. So Vicky at extension #270 calls me to schedule for the next Tuesday but she said let me know if their are any weight limited roads to get to my address. In the mean time another scheduler at extension #383 calls and wants to schedule a delivery as well. I say, they are already coming on Tuesday so just put it on that truck. I called Vicky on Monday to let her know that the sign for the road states 10 tons but that the local authorities had no problem with a one time delivery. She said that was a problem and I said put it on a smaller truck or find a different route that does not have a weight restriction.
They are a trucking company, am I supposed to do their job and my job? I was already paying more than $1000 to get this cargo from Foxborough, MA, and now it is sitting in Milwaukee while I am needing it.
Just a side note - the weight restriction was only for a quarter mile until you crossed into the next county where all the roads are Class B. So as long as they stayed in Dane county and came in from the south there would have been no issues. Why don't they know this?
Fast forward to Tuesday when I get a call from their semi driver Bill. He says he is in the area but he can't go down the road because their is a 10 ton weight restriction. I said I would meet him in town. While I'm waiting for him I call Dave the town patrolman and discuss my options. He goes over a route that would take us back south several miles and cut back on Class B roads so as to avoid the 1/4 mile of weight restricted road.
I talk Bill into following me to the job site on the Class B roads and when we get there he opens up the back of the truck and gives me a 10 pound package. This is the package that the scheduler at ext. #383 had added to my 1711# cargo. Vicky at ext. #270 had cancelled my delivery so I still don't have my cargo. Now I have an email in my inbox from the sender telling me that there is a $199.80 up-charge for delivery in a smaller truck because of stupid Vicky. I tell them to send the bill to stupid Vicky.

I haven't even received my package yet and they already get a 1 star. Just got off the phone with Ann who tells me they refuse to drive down my street and I have to meet the driver somewhere else to get my 300lb package that won't even fit in my van unless it is unpacked. I have received multiple deliveries from full size trucks at my house before, but N&M doesn't care about that. I was also told that they don't even have smaller trucks in their fleet to put it on, and if I can't pick it up they will have to send it back to the company I ordered from! I have a disability and use an electric wheelchair, and that also happens to be what is being delivered. So now I have to leave my home to go pick up a wheelchair that I had to beg and plead for them to allow their driver to unpack and put into my van. I asked to speak to Ann's supervisor, Matt, but he refused to speak to me. What kind of company refuses to have their managers speak to customers who have an issue? What kind of shipping company who delivers packages to residential areas doesn't have smaller trucks?? N&M, that's who! I had to call the company where I ordered the chair from to discuss the situation. They were not pleased and advised they would address the situation. At least some companies still care about their customers. Not N&M Transfer!
