Really nice cinema, very comfy sofas and a nice atmosphere meant you could focus on the film. A little bit of light flicker around the image was a bit distracting at times but overall still definitely better than most city centre cinema's.

A newly decorated cinema with great facilities and amazing decorations. The seats are comfortable and the screens are very relaxing and well ventilated - a great cinema experience and there's free wi-fi!

This is one of my favourite Everyman cinemas. Love the pizzas and sundaes. Not cheap but a great treat.

Enjoyed our first visit here. Shared a comfy sofa and had plenty of leg room. Top notch food and drink available but as you would expect is pricey. Got a bit of a stiff neck in the front row and would go further back next time!

I was very impressed with this unique experience and to be served in the cinema was delightful. Great ambience. Only let down was the hot chocolate was not very nice at all. But otherwise a very nice experience.

Go to the spoons before the show, but the ambiance is excellent in the theatre.

Lovely little cinema with plush sofa seating. Very nice staff. Received tap water with ice for free! Only setback was that there is no lift to the first floor screen. My elderly relative could have done with one! Thank you for looking after us so well. We will be back.

First time to an Everyman theatre - new experience... combines a cinema with your living room. Sofa was a bit soft for my comfort, but nice to have a beer - in a glass whilst watching a movie. Quaint 1930's feel to the place, certainly unusual and intimate but was it worth the extra layout? I am not sure

Really nice well-rounded independent cinema. Nice wine bar feel when you get there and comfy seats inside. It is however quite pricey.

Really good evening. It is a cinema unlike any other. Seats are comfy sofas, food and drinks are brought to you by the staff, and it isn't just the usual popcorn and fizzy drinks. Only slight downside was the cost for us as a family of 4, but as a treat it is a lovely place to go.

Interesting local cinema where you can enjoy food and drinks served to you in the comfort of your arm chair while you enjoy the film. Not big so worth booking and menu of burgers, pizzas and small bites adequate to be washed down with your choice from the licences bar. Somewhat chaotic downstairs and on two occasions the service of food and drinks out not kept pace by the clearing away after left the bar and seating area disappointingly messy and dirty. One young gent did respond well and do his best when the mess and puddle from spilt drinks pointed out but really someone should be on top of the situation in the bar area.

Lovely comfortable cinema with food & drinks service

Lovely cinema, friendly helpful staff. You can watch your chosen film sitting in a comfy armchair or 2 seater sofa. If you order food or drink 20 - 30 minutes before the film starts the staff will bring it to you when you're seated, nice touch. Unfortunately, as with all cinemas, there's still the odd few people that insist on talking throughout the film

It's a great local cinema, a the food is to a very high quality that they serve, the seating is comfortable (the screening room has sofas instead of the ordinary chairs which makes it unique), the quality of the sound and picture is good as well however this is a slightly small cinema which is perfect for confortable seating as it is not usually busy.

The recent improvements here are tremendous. The place has had a complete makeover. I was in screen 2 - upstairs. The seats were pretty comfortable but I've marked down this review one star as when I looked down the side there was popcorn everywhere. The audio and visual quality was fantastic. This is a very good place to see a film.

A little slow on the service front but otherwise all good and an enjoyable movie trip.

Been here quite a few times, it's a relatively quiet Everyman. Premium sofa seating is great for a more personal cinema experience. Manage to get tickets always booking on the day of the movie. There are some good options of food and drink which you can enjoy in the screen or at a table.

It's not your usual cinema - it's so much better.. . Drinking and eating aside, it's a great smalltime atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back for date night treats. kids here? They won't appreciate it so don't take them here! Stick with Purley Way or Crawley for the ingrates... As for 20 minutes of ads I can't remember when I didn't sit through loads anywhere - this is absolutely no different to a normal cinema in that respect. Just keep the kids away!

Small boutique cinema with sofa seating. Clean and tidy. Only a few screens with a smaller number of seats. Not cheap but where is nowadays. Sofas are 'cosy' so pick individual seats if you are not that friendly with your companion :) Parking easy at weekend but you would need to use the station car park other times. Meals and drinks can be taken in although limited tray spaces so I would recommend eating first outside in the cafe area. I think tray space would be an issue when full as there are not one per seat, rather one on each end of a sofa, shared with the next one. Big minus - they ran out of burgers and this was the main menu item. Portions on the small size. Good drink selection. Toilet out front in foyer as well as in the exit corridor to front of screen room, so you can pop out quickly and easily. Friendly staff and relaxed approach. They will bring food to you in the screen room but access is not brilliant. Screen quality good and sound okay although not up there with the best cinemas. Best seats are liw numbers on the isle stairs to allow easier access for staff serving you. Would definately go back as much more pleasant than the big multiplexes.

Good choice of films on three screens. Comfortable sofas. Lovely staff. Show NT Live and Opera/ Ballet live from major Venues BUT Don't like smelling fried food, chips burgers etc delivered to people in their seats. Having drinks delivered is OK though. Snacks and drink are expensive and High Street brands of chocolate, nuts etc are not on sale. Nevertheless it's a great asset for the town of Oxted!

Very very nice now its been updated but a bit pricey on some items.. i suppose it has to be paid for some how..

A more personal cinema experience. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice staff. Quite expensive, however in the town and variety of films regularly despite being smaller.

I was working in Oxted, and I actually didn't get in to the cinema..BUT Oxted looks and feels like a nice quiet , and safe place to live....thats coming from a North Londoner

Newly renovated to what must be a large expense. The old single screen has been replaced by 3 new ones. The small cafe area has been replaced by a large restaurant and bar. The whole place has been done in an old school art deco theme and it looks great. Sooooo much better than the your typical Odeon experience.

Very nice cinema, lovely experience, only thing I would say is it's not abundantly obvious what you need to do when you arrive. We booked tickets online so didn't know if we had to collect them or just show them to someone so had to wait at the bar to ask. Other than that the whole experience was excellent.

Great place to watch a movie, full menu and bar service whilst you watch on a cosy sofa. Would recommend.

Expensive and the food price is a joke but cool cinema

I went to see 1917 . Comfortable 2 seater sofa with cushion,so comfortable in normal circs I would have fallen asleep but the film never let up for excitement and action and visual thrills so I stayed alert throughout. Recommend the cinema and the film.

Best seating, and food for a cinema but relatively expensive

Screen 1 not very accessible for people who have mobility issues and require a wheelchair however, other than that a wonderful, clean, safe environment.

A must have experience. Good food, drinks, ice cream, easy chairs and good films. What more could you ask.
