Mutual of Enumclaw Review

I was talked into switching to them when i purchased my home. I d been with Geico for 10+ years, and they were amazing to work with. For example, someone hit us while we were in Disneyland on a Sunday, and Geico had us in a rental within hours. Amazing customer service.

Now, for MOE. They seemed to have good coverage for a competitive rate, and the mortgage broker talked highly of them. I decided to give them a shot. Unfortunately, I had an accident about two months after switching. It was about 5 PM on a Wednesday. I wasn t driving anything fancy, but needed a tow and a rental. I couldn t reach anyone from MOE, except their 24-hour number, who couldn t do anything about anything. Unfortunately, I had to find a ride home.

The next day, during normal business hours (because there couldn t possibly be an accident or emergency after 4 PM PST), I finally got a call. Two days later, I finally got a call from the adjuster. They got me a rental car for a while 5 days. My car was totaled, and I needed some time to find a replacement. The adjuster was very rude on the phone, and refused to extend my rental for a few days. Finally, her superior agreed that it was reasonable to allow me a couple more days.

They paid ok on my car, but only after I had to go back and forth with another person who omitted the trim level and extras on my car (navigation, etc).

I am going back to Geico. I would not recommend Mutual of Enumclaw.

I'm not very happy, Because they took 7 hours to get a tow truck 20 mins away I got stuck out of town. It cost us over $1000. to spend the weekend in a hotel, because of their poor service.I called them time after time. I have not had them call me unless I had called them. They decided to not pay me for their mistake. Had they done things in a timely manner I would have had options and I would not have been required to put out that $1000. Then they reduced the price of the repairs so that the amount was below my deductible. That way even with me paying for full coverage and spending $2000 out of my pocket, they paid for nothing but the price of a tow. They did not call me to follow up, they did not communicate well and paid for nothing. The customer service is non-existent and they take forever to make a decision. I would steer clear of this company, when you need them they disappear.

NO FORM OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS WHATSOEVER. That right there should have raised a red flag. But they raised my rates more than $150 per month for 2 vehicles. I didn t catch it until 4 months later. No emails, nothing electronic. When I called he said yeah sorry the rates were raised.

We have been so pleased with Mutual of Enumclaw (MOE) during our auto repairs due to a recent incident where another car hit us. MOE is taking care of us and subrogating against the other company rather than us having to deal with someone we do not know and who does not necessarily have our best interests in the forefront. That is customer service at its finest in our book. Thank you Holly, you've been great to work with!

I have check with other insurance companies, their rates are no better. Even AARP. When I did have an accident, not our fault, they were their to help us through the process and even when the other party didn't have enough insurance (only the least amount to legally drive) Mutaul of enumclaw was their to help us. And Northwest brokers was their to help us find Mutual of Enumclaw. I have bundled our home, boat, cars, Atv and umbrella through Mutual of Enumclaw. They have the best rates.

My car was deemed a total loss for an accident that was not my fault. I had the car for only 5 months, Enumclaw is offering 14k that is with taxes too. They said I also have to pay my 500 dollar deductible. I paid 18k total for my car. I just think the offer is really low considering the circumstances.

We are a collision shop in Kent. I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. I honestly cannot say that about ANY other insurance company, and I have dealt with many of them. The way they handle their claims process is hassle free. They are fare and always friendly. They may not have all the fancy commercials or other advertising and if they keep up the awesome work they probably never will need all of that. I can't urge people enough to go them to get a policy. If you are in an accident or need to use them for any reason you will see why.

I recently had a lot of storm damage to my home. Mutual of Emumclaw was the best insurance I have ever delt with. You can not go wrong with their homeowner insurance.

This summer I was driving on the North Side of Phoenix when a piece of rebar dropped on the road and penetrated my gas tank on my Porsche Panamera. My subsequent flatbed tow was arranged efficiently through Enumclaw and the car was taken to the dealer.
Porsche gas tanks are in short supply in the US so as soon as one was sourced Enumclaw immediately authorised its purchase and the work order to install was approved. The adjuster and her supervisor were amazing and went the extra mile to make sure my expenses in full were covered for both towing and a rental car.
Because of a poor installation of the tank, I had a second problem when I picked the car up.....without hesitation they towed the car to another provider and also arranged for me to accompany the car and get a ride home. Again no hesitation or fuss or debate, just get the problem solved and give me a good experience.
This was my first claim in 55 years of driving, and not of my fault. After hearing of disaster stories with insurance companies I am delighted with my experience with these incidents.
However I am concerned about what we my future premiums will be, and that will be seen in the next few months......my adjuster indicated that this should not be a major problem......and if their excellent treatment continues I will be a life long client.

They don't have an office at this location any longer.

I had to work with M of E due to an accident one of their clients caused. Their agent named Sheila was fabulous! Very professional, prompt, sympathetic and personable. If I ever leave my current insurer I'm choosing M of E JUST so I can work with Sheila! M of E: if you're listening, Sheila is management material!!!

Do not use these guys even if you find them to be a touch cheaper. They are not worth your time and will end up costing you more in the long run. I wish I never had them and avoided them because they are costing me more because of their junk.

My family lives in Arizona, and we were introduced to MOE by a local insurance broker. When he first mentioned the company that he wanted us to use, I said "Mutual of what? I've never heard of them!" He assured us that MOE was excellent, and we proceeded with full home and auto insurance. We have been so happy with MOE on every level - and we have actually used the insurance. Not only is the pricing outstanding, but the level of service is second to none. The team on the phone is excellent, and I have filed a seamless claim for an auto accident in just minutes using the mobile app. Everything about MOE has been positive, and I have recommended the company to many of my friends. Of course, they all say the same thing "Mutual of what? I've never heard of them", but the ones who switch are happy that they did.

Frustrated with this company after two years of trying to get a certain coverage on my home; with no response, no service or proper communication. Poor customer service, communication, and company. How can three different agents at one company be so bad at their job? Went to Liberty Mutual, they handled everything in 20 minutes.

We are a senior couple and have been insured with several well-known companies over the years. Our Broker in Mesa, AZ recommended Mutual of Enumclaw. Lower premiums and minimal red tape if we had to file a claim were our top priorities. In all honesty, Mutual of Enumclaw is superior in every aspect compared to any other insurance provider. Some of our friends have had nightmare experiences with their insurance providers; we are very satisfied customers.

I hate to give 1 star. They are highway robbery! Insurance scammers and dont pay as they should! Have a truck - someone hit it parked. They immediately dictate how they will cover when I have FULL COVERAGE! Rip off company! As usual, insurance of all types is a scam and they NEVER do what they say. All they want is FREE MONEY from all our payments! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

We are very appreciative of the excellent service that Mutual of Enumclaw has demonstrated in any of our requests. We have added additional family members to our policy and autos with a minimum amount of effort on our part.

We have a local representative that we are very comfortable with and provides an extra layer of comfort. Along with competitive pricing and variety of coverage makes them an excellent provider.

We recommend as least looking at the company foe your insurance needs, we are happy .

I love Mutual Enumclaw !
I have all my vehicles and homes with them. They were great when I was in a accident got my rental and car to a quality company for repairs who only use the best body parts. And I was back in my car in days. Never had any hassle like with other insurance companies.

We have been with MOE for almost 40 years, insuring both our car and our home with them.

We have had a couple of claims on our cars over that time and one minor one on our house. MOE has always responded quickly, professionally, and positively.

Over the years, we have repeatedly reviewed their rates against other companies and found no one that offers comparable coverage at their rates. We couldn't be happier with an insurance company than we have been with MOE

The people here are no good the put a car before a human life not only that the company the used to tow my car the not only striped my girlfriends car the stole her plates off it and tried to blame anyone put them selfs to me that is not how a company should run put a car before a human life how low

I have had several insurance companies over my 50 years of coverage and I can say without a doubt that Mutual of Enumclaw has provided the best coverage and customer service. UNHAPPY WITH COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE FROM CLAIMS DEPARTMENT. We are insured through Enumclaw Mutual with several cars and two houses. Premiums are favorable, claims leave a lot to be desired. A car runs a stop sign and totals our new car of 4 days with less than 100 miles on the car. Good to get a rental car right away, that is were there service stopped. Original offer to settle was $3,500 below the purchase price 4 days ago. Three offers and several weeks later we finally get the offer with within a few hundred dollars of what we paid. The accident took place in Nov 15, end of January we still haven't received payment for our totaled car. We provided all of the information for payment just after Christmas and were told the payoff would be send to the credit union within a few days. Still not done one month date. The apparently didn't get a required doc from me that I sent using their envelope, didn't bother to notify me that they didn't get the dock Finally figure they need the doc resent. Re-sent again with verification that it was actually received this time, still no payment after a week.

This company does not take care of people whose property has been damaged by their insured. The company would not make repairs to my trailer stating it's value was far less that what the actual cost to repair $1350. I paid $900 for the trailer 2 years ago, has Les Schwaab do new wheel bearings $125, and had it painted to match my bike for $400. They couldn't come up with any local comparables so they used what they could find and sent me a check for $420. Reading all of the low ratings reviews, it doesn't appear they take care of their own insured. I have had GEICO insurance for years and have had a couple minor claims and they took care of me right away, and no increase in premiums.

Really frustrated with the level of service we have received lately from Mutual of Enumclaw and AAA who sells me the policies. I am a long standing client of greater than 20 years with 2 homes and 3 vehicles, it s been 10 days since my husband was hit by a falling tree on city streets with no decision on the vehicle status. Just the blanket response of, we can pay a portion of rental car fees, which isn t much. Sent emails on day 9 and day 10, no response yet.

Horrible to deal with....wont pay even though their client started a fire that came onto my property.....lie cheat steal

I have been with this company for many many years and they have been overcharging me more than I imagined! I do NOT recommend them at all. They are not looking out for you! They are looking out for themselves!
When I was involved in a car accident, that wasn't my fault, I used my PIP coverage and MOE decided I was done with treatment before I reached my max and before my doctor released me. AND when my car was totalled they under valued my car and paid me less than they should have. There is an existing class action lawsuit against them for this. Stay away!!

The true measure of an insurance company is not a low price or expensive TV ads. It is when you need them to come through on a claim, making the experience as painless and seamless as possible. This is where Mutual of Enumclaw puts the emphasis and it shows.

The rates for home and auto have been exceptional. And, while no one enjoys having a claim, when we had one, it was handled quickly and managed throughout the process to ensure we received great service. I recommend Mutual of Enumclaw for anyone who needs great insurance at a great price!

I am 67 years old, in my whole life I have never had an Insurance company like Enumclaw! The high winds came and blew my roof off in 2017 and they took care of it in a quick manner, 2 weeks ago a car ran into me as I was backing out of a parking lot, there they were again, fast to respond, sent the Body shop a check right away, provide me a rental car from Enterprise ( who picked up the rental when my car was ready, I did`NT have to go to the Airport to return it) I can`t say enough about this company!
