Good service. Very polite staff. Always on time and prompt. Helped me a few times when I needed directions or advice etc. Will use them again

On Canberra Express there there are NO seatback tables (are you kidding!) and poor blue lighting

Use Murrays all the time. Never had an issue. They're great!

Uneventful trip from Canberra to Sydney, made good time

The 5 stars I gave is for the staff of Murrays in Jolimont Canberra who booked me yesterday. Her name is Emma. She is very nice, friendly, and accomodating to me. The other lady there was nice too. Except for the guy who was with them at the counter. He was very rude to me. He doesnt even know the whole story of my transaction with Emma but he started being mean to me without even knowing what was going on. I wish the management will hire more staff like Emma and the other lady.

Very comfortable couches. Service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Murray's Bus Service is a OK bus service but it would be way better if it had charging ports for mobile phones and Tablets and free Wi-Fi like the Greyhound Bus Service has.

Had a really good trip down from Sydney to Canberra. The coaches are easy to get to for one thing and no complicated procedure to board the bus. On the return trip Canberra to Sydney I was about one minute late, I called and told them please not to leave without me and they didn t! So thankful. Comfy ride too.

We used Murray's too and from Sydney to Canberra. Buses were clean, comfortable, and certainly a great way to go.

Murray bus is my must-have bus company. The fare is cheap. The cheapest special fare is five Australian dollars from Canberra to Sydney. The car runs on time, the compartment is clean, and the service is good. There are many outlets and frequent trips.

I had a complaint and this was actioned in a professional and timely manner.

Pitty other passangers cant follow simple instructions like taking rubbish or putting the foot rest back

The coach stops right in front of the international airport. They are also free shuttles between the domestic and international airports.

Great bus service directly to syd int airport or city

Pick murrays every time. Toilet gets clogged up 50/50.but only a 3hr drive so it's ok.

Reliable and will always be on time. The chargers are usually iffy so make sure you carry a power bank and don't be late; they don't wait for you!

The busses are FREEZING. I have to take this bus regularly and I have no idea why they make everyone freeze the whole trip. I look around and everyone is shivering and still wearing our snowcoats. They also don't let you turn the aircon off you can only push it onto another person.. from Canberra to Syd is about 40 bucks too...might be cheaper to drive...drivers are nice though.

Though slightly expensive, nice way to get from Sydney to Canberra. Free rescheduling available. Enjoy the view and have a comfy ride. Waiting area also available in Canberra

Great service. Chairs aren t the most comfortable though. Convenient for the Canberra to Sydney trip!

I have been using Murrays for trip between Sydney and Canberra. If you are a regular traveller buy the loyalty Pass which has got great benefits and cost very cheap.
Coaches are mostly clean. There is WiFi on board and charging slots on newer coaches.
Catching international flight from Sydney then try considering catching Murrays. It leaves just outside international departures.

Cheapest way to Sydney airport. Not as good as greyhound though

Feel disappointed about the service. I have booked the ticket to Sydney airport in advance,but staff was not professional enough to find my information until the coach was going to leave. Also, the driver go so far as to close the door when I was rushing to board with the ticket!! Pretty sure the driver saw me was running with luggages-- no doubt about going to airport urgently!! Not going to use any Murrays anymore!

It's a standard bus terminal. Plenty of rest area and has bathrooms and a cafe. There a TV to keep one amused. They could do with more chairs but it's sufficient I guess.

You will find service desks inside as well.

The Greyhound service also leaves from the same terminal.

Reliable, clean, fast, respectful .. all the things you want in a coach service interstate. Good value for money and runs on the hour.

Hourly buses to Sydney most days, straight to the airport. Not the cheapest, but so convenient. Always friendly and professional drivers and staff.

I needed to change my bus booking to a different day due to medical reasons. I am currently in the hospital in Hawaii and had to change my flights, therefore had to change my bus reservations to a different day. However when I called Murrays, they said I could not change it under any circumstances and no refund would be available. I find this completely astounding, even with a medical certificate and a very valid reason I couldn't even change the day. You are a complete rip off. I am paying for a service I am not even using. You are a joke.

Excellent service at great price. Why would anyone fly to Sydney from Canberra? Much less hassle, similar time frame and more comfortable on the bus.

Damaged my property but take absolutely no responsibility for their staff's actions. Disappointing. You've lost a loyal customer.

Do not trust the timetables from Canberra to Sydney. Count on the trip taking 3:45 with traffic. Don't you think it's odd that the timetable says 3hrs 15mins regardless of time of day?
Our bus driver told us it would take 3:45 as we were leaving Canberra. They do these routes often enough to know exactly how long it should take.

If you are catching a plane always allow more time and do not rely on murrays to stick to their schedule.

I have complained to Murrays with o response. ACCC is the next step.

Cheap reliable way to get to and from Canberra and Sydney.

Buses keep improving. Still the best service to get between Sydney and Canberra.

There is much good to be said about Murrays: good prices, buses are generally clean, invariably on time in my experience, safe, courteous drivers, power connection for phones. On the down side, while it may not be possible to have wider seats, they are only just wide enough for average sized people. Wi-fi doesn't always work, either. Still better than flying and much more frequent than train.

Despite the additional fares I had to pay through there processing issue, I must say how pleased I was with the bus trip and the bus itself. I could keep my iPad charged!! Quicker than the train so I am planning another trip. Increased from 3 to 4 stars.

Nice driver. Nice desk staff. Desk staff not helpful. I booked late last night. The payment system wouldnt let me purchase a full fare. No flexi available. I tried a number of times and ended up buying the hot fares both ways. Of course my meeting ended early and I was able to get an earlier bus. I had to pay a full fare because of the t&cs of hot fare. All this despite system error their end and the booking being made after hours. So the suggestion that I should have phoned was not helpful. Won't be travelling again. Dont have this issue with the trains or the planes.

Travelled from Canberra to Sydney airport. Although travel was okay but my issue is with service which lacked any sort of niceties attached to any customer service. It felt like I am not paying for the ride but riding for free and Murray's is doing a favour by taking me to Sydney Airport. A little smile wont hurt, this applies to person standing aimlessly next to bus, the bus driver, girls checking bags and passenger data and the counter inside.

Excellent service, you can also charge your phone while on the coaches from a USB power outlet to each seat. There's also a toilet onboard.

Very comfortable ride. We forgot my wife s iPad on the bus. When we discovered it a few hours later I phoned a very efficient operator, confirmed that they had it at lost property. We picked it up were asked to unlock as proof of ownership. Very impressed. Our first bus trip to Canberra a good experience.
