Funhouse was small venue with inadequate air conditioning....carpet on floor and rubber mats in bar area made for difficult dancing. I went because of the band...probably won't go back because of stated reasons.

18th Century church converted into a music venue. Unique in that there are different areas throughout the church to hang out in aside from the main area. Main area with stage also offers balcony seating, May cost extra to sit there during live music acts. Smoking allowed on the outside balcony that offers some seating and a couple of tables. Food served here as well.

Best venue left in Pittsburgh untouched by a commercial cult or cultural trust affiliation. Some of my favorite shows took place here. The atmosphere and aesthetic of this old church turned maze contributes to the fun and feel of every show.

Booze prices are fair, also the VIP option is a fun perk.

We went and saw frank turner here, nice small home town venue, all the staff were super friendly for out of town people such as myself, drink prices were good for being a concert, the only downside we came across was there is no venue parking so you have to park on streets around the venue and there are really no signs saying where it was okay to park and where it wasn't okay to park, but with parking being the only downside I highly recommend the venue

Mr. Smalls is a nice venue. They serve drinks but nothing crazy. There is plenty of room for general admission the floor is huge and perfect for somebody who does t like small enclosed venues it has a wide open floor.

A great part of the small town of Millvale's story. What started out as reclamation project in an old church, via a recording studio from members of Rusted Root, has blossomed into an amazing venue with unique food and drink options. Explore nooks and crannies that have been repurposed creatively as seating, tea rooms, and lounges. Solar on the roof and great owner/operators.

Such a cool venue! The ballroom was really great, staff were really friendly, and the sound guy did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this place, especially since food and other stores are really close in proximity. If you're looking for a really great place to see a show in PA, this is it.

One of my favorite little concert venues. Small, intimate, and usually short lines for the bars and bathrooms even during a concert. It's standing room only which could be an issue for some, but not for me.

Always jump at an opportunity to see shows here. General admission , so first come and fight for a place near the stage. The shows always have cool light and the sound doesn't destroy your eardrum, like some venues I've been too. The room is good size and you can escape upstairs to go outside for some fresh air or get a bite to eat. Parking at the venue is free ( mostly street parking) and the staff usually does pre entrance check while in line to get everyone in faster.

The food was really good as we sat in the street enjoying the weather and some excellent music! Our favorite act was Jeremy Caywood - excellent performance! The hummus was the best I have ever had and the bread that came with it was perfectly cooked. We met the owner and co-owner, Mike Speranzo and Liz Berlin, who really made us feel welcome!

Love the venue. Have been to two shows and both were great. Good crowds for a smaller venue. The acoustics are good and the drinks are reasonably priced. You can get some of the more mainstream craft beers. The bathrooms are clean.

Nice venue which used to be a church. There's still some stained glass opposite the stage at back. Have normal cuos for the water cooler as opposed to cones (looks at Rex) whic.v h is much appreciated. Great acoustics.

It is a wonderous place, a place you can step from out of the bustling streets and into a haven. A haven for people who love music. You may feel like you have never belonged somewhere in your life before. This is a place that made me feel like I belonged.

There are smiling faces galore and people who may feel totally the same way you did walking through the doors of a new venue, randomly and purposefully smiling because the atmosphere and music bring you into, just bliss.

Dress like who you are. Drink water all night if you want. Be present. Who knows, I might be there too and if you see me, gimme a hug or a high-five!

There's a cafe downstairs too worth checking out! I also love the fact that the owners are doing so much in the community helping foster kids and such with music and addiction recovery and just everything beautiful. Oh I'll be back for sure!

This is by far the best music venue in Pittsburgh. It has five bars, two upstairs smoking patios. Pretty good food and 4 dollar pounders. Acoustics are great and if the show is in the funhouse you can almost touch the stage!

Mr.Smalls is small, and parking is a hard thing to do but, it's amazing. It only holds up to 650 people. Anyway, the shows are pretty awesome, they get hot and sweaty though. It is hard to move sometimes. But after the show you can meet tthe bands! Ive been going here for at least 3 years now!

Nice size venue, not too big or too small. Several bars with good beer selection. Pretty good variety of shows and tickets are prices reasonably. Parking in the area is limited (mostly street parking), and the bathrooms are a little shady.
