Great place. Fun and inviting atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Very attentive wait staff.

Service was good. Disappointed in the food. Both steaks were rare even tho one was ordered medium and the other medium well. There was nothing about our meal that stood out from any other restaurant. Maybe it was an off-day, but for the price they charge I don't feel they should have an off-day.

We used to do date night here but have since stopped...during to price increases

We were there New Year's Eve - I had my concerns regarding getting a table - well....it was GREAT! We had a super time, met one of the owners, Justin & Nikki took great care of our little party of 4. Food was excellent and atmosphere, the best! We will be back & will ensure to tell all our friends in the surrounding area to ensure they stop in. Welland needed this!!

At least four stars! I had a Mr Mike veggie sandwich, very delicious! The manager is courteous very pleasant.

I've been to Mr. Mikes in Welland a half a dozen times. I will say this, their food is amazing! No matter what we order, it leaves our palate having a party. That said, I do have one complaint. We decided to pop in for a few drinks. I was expecting to walk out with a little buzz, however 2 Caesars and a shot of Captain Morgans later, nothing! I am not a drinker by any means, usually only embarking on one or two drinks on the weekend only. I was very disappointed to consume so many calories to not even experience a buzz. Sad to say, but they must water down their hard liquor. I will still come for the food and a good beer, but thats it!!

Our server, Doug, was great and very helpful. The food came very quick and was delicious! The only thing that we didn't like was the giant chairs that left no foot space.

Way to expensive a hamburger was almost 20 bucks, and yes l no well your going out what do you expect, we'll not to be robbed

Don't waste your time or money. The steaks my wife and I had were overdone and subpar at best. Further, they were way over priced for what we received. Spend an extra $25 (per couple) and get a good meal at the Keg. We won't be back. The steakhouse across the street from Mr. Mike's in St. Catharines has nothing to fear from this microwave chef outfit. (edit: I see that the restaurant is offering $50 gift certificates for those who were disappointed. @ the restaurant...allow me to preemptively and politely decline your possible offer. No thank you, once bitten... )

Just a great place to eat very friendly staff a must go

Absolutely horrific. My freind ordered a 30$ steak only to have it over cooked, then undercooked. Waiters acted so fake it hurt. And whatever you do, DONT GET THE LOBSTER, it makes you sick.

This is one of my easiest reviews. To start MR MIKES has an atmosphere that you do not see much of any more. It is like walking into tour own personal game room / den. The decor and atmosphere is just so layed back, and relaxed. The menus are easy to read. The text size is slightly bigger than other menus I have seen. We went at the dinner rush, and our food came to us relatively quickly. Now the good part. The food. I enjoyed every last bite. Upon receiving our orders the first thing I noticed was the presentation. My food looked good. The taste of our meals was delicious, and there was a lot of it. So if you are reading this review and wondering if you want to try MR MIKES do it. I promise you this. You won't regret it. You may also be like me and plan your next trip in while half way through your burger. 5 stars plus 5 more. Also the washrooms were awesome. They have individual washrooms. The doors are marked with a moustache with the word he under it, and a pair of red lips with she under it. Sink toilet and mirror in each washroom, and they were clean. They must have someone keeping them clean all day long. So it is worth taking a chance and eating here. I regret not doing it sooner.

Great food, quick, friendly accommodating service. I had the potsticker bowl, delicious. I highly recommend the cornbread. Bryar is an awesome server!

First time there, the food was great but the service was better! Bailey was our server and she was friendly and attentive, never left us needing anything at all.

My boyfriend and myself dined at mr.mikes for the first time and had a great experience! Our server bailey was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great atmosphere and overall experience, wil definitely be back!

We made a reservation. The person on the phone even took the spelling of our name. We got there....they laughed at us and basically called us liars. It was terrible. Apparently they are not taking reservations?? They blamed us and we're sarcastic and rude. I doubt I will ever go back. I understand they couldn't fit us in but, did they need to be rude? They were offering everyone else $10 off take out but not us. Very unpleasant.

This is the place that Welland has been waiting for. It combines the best of both the local cheaper bars and gives you an alternative M.T. Bellies and Boston Pizza. With daily deals on food and beer you can save money or get a delicious steak. The bar side has an abundance of games and relaxed seating areas to enjoy. The Skookumchuk chicken burger is next level tasty. Their two craft ales and lagers are fantastic. Thanks for choosing Welland as a location!

We went as a family to check out the new place in town. It was hopping busy! A great atmosphere with lots of fun games and things to do with the family other than using our phones. Very refreshing and fun! My wife got a salad and loved it and the children loved their food as well. I ordered the ribeye and the twice baked potato and quite honestly neither of them were up to par. I ordered the ribeye medium and it was tough. I mentioned it to the employee who came around afterwards and his suggestion was to order it medium-rare next time. The potato appeared as if it had been prepared an hour ago. The top was crusty and inside was lukewarm. So, overall my experience was ok. Would I go back? Sure. Would I ever spend the cash again for a steak? Probably not. I don t splurge very often on these things so when I do I d like it to be the best. The steak and potatoes were disappointing but everything else was great.

Had a great dinner and great service. The food was soooooo good. The waitress brought the cake out and the staff joined in in singing Happy birthday to my dad. Great evening thank you and definitely be back.

Dined outside on the patio on Sept. 4 and received good service and delicious food. Nice crispy French fries, soft-but-chewy steak bites that were just salty enough, and a nice sweet vinaigrette on the side salad were notable. Reasonable price, friendly staff, clean premises--lots to like!

Had an amazing night at Mr Mikes tonight. My boyfriend had the bbq steak salad and i have the steak and lobster mac it was super yummy. Love the atmosphere of being able to play bored games :) we played battle ship but they have a good selection of games to choose from.

Im from North Bay, ON. Ive been there 2 nights in a row. Excellent service, great staff. And fun to play games as well. My food was amazing and steak cooked to perfection. Mucho love to great services.

The first time we visited the place they cooked my wife's steak exactly how she likes it; shoe leather, not the way I would want it but it is what she likes. The next time we visited they took the steak back 3 times before she got it the way she liked it. Possibly a different chef that night, but it is on their menu as an option so I don't know why they could not get it correct. I asked for medium rare and mine was fine. The only saving grace was the fact that they ended up not charging us for her dinner.

Had an awfull time. Got there for our 7 o'clock reservation. Got told they overbooked and made us sit in the bar which was so loud we couldnt hear the server. My steak was awfull dry and thin with about 20 fries. Left hungry. It was both our wives birthday. Website says free dessert for them. They recieved nothing free. Will find a better way to spend a 100 bucks on a dinner for 2. Very dissatisfied.

Went for a friends birthday and it was amazing! Food and service from our waitress, Desiree and bartender Danny! What a great team! Drinks were always full and smiles were all around! Thanks so much!

Great steakhouse! My meal was delicious and the service that i received deserves to be recognized. The servers name was Michelle, I believe she is the bartender. What a wonderful experience, I would recommend Mr. Mikes to all of my friends and family.

Mr. Mike's Steakhouse Casual Welland Ontario. What a wonderful experience. The food is exceptional and the service is friendly and helpful. Steaks are cooked to perfection. We've now been several times and we don't mind driving to get there.

We had a delicious dinner at Mr Mike's last night. The food was delicious, and cooked perfectly. The waitress was also very attentive and friendly.

Great casual steakhouse, the Lodge side is such a fun environment different than any other! I recommend the Lodge Burgers!

My wife and I had a great lunch at this Welland location on May 2nd, 2018. We learned of Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual from a Television Advertisement during the broadcast of a recent major Curling event in Calgary. Curling fans are very loyal and like to reward the advertisers who support curling with their business whenever possible.

We live in Markham, Ontario and the bulk of the company's locations are in the West. I found one however in Welland Ontario and, on a trip to Niagara Falls, we made a point of stopping in at the Welland location for lunch. Situated in a stand alone location adjacent to the Seaway Mall Mr. Mikes is in a new building, with plenty of parking and a well laid out floor plan.

We were greeted like old friends by Taylor, who opened the door for us, seated us in a great spot and the she left us to peruse the extensive menu. Our server, Trevor, quickly appeared and patiently answered all of our questions, and placed our order, and was never far away during our meal. An experienced server can make of break a meal and Trevor did a great job.

I had a terrific mushroom laden burger served on a Potato onion bun that was just delicious. My wife enjoyed a shaved beef sandwich on what appeared to be a Brioche style bun that she just raved over. Fries were fresh and hot, just perfect.

The General Manager, Troy, heard that we had come a long way for lunch and stopped by to welcome us and chat about the history of the company and their ambitious expansion plans in Ontario. We learned a lot and were quite impressed with their growth.

All in all we had a very pleasant dining experience, great service, terrific food from an extensive menu, and an overall feeling of being in a place where you were welcomed like family from afar.

We will certainly be on the lookout for Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual locations on our travels in the future, and look forward to a location in Markham soon.

I came here to eat here last June, and I felt that the steak was just right for the sake of cooking. I ordered the same steak today, but it was cooked too much, a little disappointing...

Have visited twice and enjoyed very much. Very good selection and priced right. Good variety. Something to satisfy everyone. Tastes good as well and will return for sure.

This place is good and not busy just before dinner. The food took a lot longer than I would have expected, but tasted good on arrival.

Hitherto, fine diners such as my family entered this maze of neglect in search of a well prepared cut of steak;the kind which should force the mouth of a well matured man to water at the very sight of it, however, we discovered a palace of horrors which may only be defined through the context of which the costumers may deem appropriate..... we shall chose to underline the disgraceful impact of which our long wait for but a morsal of food has effected our once united family. Nothing more, we shall move on in search of new restaurants not contrained to the horrors of which caused us to wait substantial periods of time only to discover our orders had yet to be placed.....

Decided to hit Mr. Mikes on New Years Day with the fam for dinner. We had never been but had some Gift cards and figured why not! I took a chance and didn't make reservations and when we arrived we were seated quickly. The restaurant was busy but not crazy which was nice. When our server greeted us they let us know there may be slight delay on our food as they were running a little behind. As I flipped through the menu I kept hearing the voices of everyone that has told me to avoid this restaurant due to overpriced small portion dishes. From what I could see everything seemed reasonable and steaks listed their size so I would assume you get what you request. We ordered some apps and drinks and our meals. I got Mr. Mikes signature Antler Ale to drink. A decent dark beer similar to Rickards Red. We waited maybe 10 min for our apps (potato skins and fried pickles) which was reasonable. Wait staff were very attentive and quickly cleared empty plates and topped up drinks. Only a few min after we finished with our apps our food came. No real delay at all. I had ordered the Sriracha Shrimpin Sirloin. A 6oz sirloin cooked to order (I like mine medium), a dozen panko breaded shrimp with a Sriracha mango sauce on them, hefty onion rings, some cooked carrots and Brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes and a chili lime aoli to dip. I was definitely not disappointed with portions and felt I was getting what I paid for. The shrimp were so good! Like addictive good! Sweet and a good spicy kick. Veggies were cooked just right and were tasty. The steak was amazing! Cooked perfectly and had that perfect grilled taste. Needed a bit of extra salt and pepper but that's just how I like it. Potatoes we great and the onion rings were some of the best I've had in a real long time! My daughter had a cheese quesadilla and said it was really good and my wife had the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese which she said was also delicious. All in all a great meal. We left a decent tip and walked out with full, happy bellies! We will definitely be back!

TLDR: First visit, no wait, great service, food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Sriracha Shrimpin Sirloin was well worth it. Everyone left full and happy. Would definitely recommend.

I read a lot of the reviews and had to question if I was at the same establishment. Our burgers appeared to have come from deep within a supermarket freezer section, you know the ones that are processed and boxed. Did not care for the sliced buns you use. I expected a hand made patty with ground meat seasoned and cooked to perfection. If I wanted a fast food meal I would have used the drive in window at McDonalds or Burger King. I don't eat there and in the future I definitely will not be eating at Mr. Mikes either.

Great spot for a date, with the guys (or girls) or even the fam. Good food servi e and prices.
