waitress was rude calamari we ordered was terrible it had pieces of onion ring asparagus a few pieces of calamari means they use same oil to cook everything it had bits and pieces. steak was ok rib eyes is usually a good steak. I could get a steak like that anywhere defenitely not worth the money or the wait 100 percent dissapapointed

Do not order the calamari unless you want to eat left over vegetables from other dishes including sweet potato fries, green beans, and lemon rounds. The food is over priced. Service is ok.
Great family restaurant! Games for the kids (and adults) to play at the table. The food was delicious and all steaks were cooked to perfection. I didn't want any potato or carrots and the waitress was very accommodating with substitutes. I would definitely go back!

This place was an unexpected surprise! A colleague found via a Google search while we were doing a job nearby. The weather was terrible that day (Halloween) and it was after the lunch rush so it didn't even look open when we pulled up. Not only was it open, but we were promptly shown to a table and had drinks shortly after. The waitress took the time to help me make a decision on a lunch special - thank you. I had the grilled cheese with soup and salad combo. I wasn't expecting anything over the top, and then when my dish came out it was exactly that! The tomato soup was delicious, nicely spiced, not to salty, and had what looked like a basil drizzle throughout. The salad was perfect and the grilled cheese was delicious! Get the one with the shaved beef. Both my colleagues were also very happy with their choices. Next time I'm out that way I will definitely be back. Hats off to the staff!
I came here with my friend for dinner tonight. Our meals tasted terrible and our appetizer (spin and artichoke dip) had too strong of a strong garlic taste. Our waitress was not particularly polite or professional. We mentioned these comments about our food to our waitress and she did not care. She took a long time to bring our bill after we made it clear we wanted to leave and then didn't bother to come say goodbye. We had to leave our payment on the table and hope she got it. We will not be returning any time soon. We would not recommend this place to others.

Been here to eat a few times. This is definitely one of wellands best steak houses. You get what you pay for. Good for weekend night out or a nice place to eat with the fam. Either way good food and goof times.
Awesome options that came out in the "New" section of their menu! I had the crispy chicken sandwich and shared their new heartattack 5000 dessert with my boyfriend and although I could nearly make it out without my boyfriend carrying me, I did that to myself lol. The food was SO good I had to eat it all right then and there.
Great service. Always a good time. Apps are great. The steaks are always cooked the way I like it, and DON'T forget to try the sticky toffee pudding.
I have gone to Mr Mike's 3 seperate occasions.. The first couple times were during slow times of the day, my steak wasn't up to par and the Caesar I ordered was a disgrace.. however the last time i went, the food was fabulous and service was completely on point.

It has been our 4th going for super. Usually, we have a good experience and the food is good. Last Saturday, the food was mediocre but the service was really bad. The waiter was rude and very innapropriate. It is definately not a job he can do.
I saw a review when looking through them all that basically matched my thoughts entirely. I ordered what I believe was the steak sandwich, which was not a sandwich at all. It was a 10oz steak on a piece of garlic bread I believe. Not two pieces (which would create a "sandwich" by definition), but just one piece. It came with two onion rings as well... Not too generous that's for sure. The rest was just French fries. There were no garnishes for the steak, nothing. The steak was pretty bland as well, which only added insult to injury. What I found even more amusing was when a couple of us ordered the same meals, they just brought everything out and asked us what we ordered. They did not ask us what way we had asked our steak to be. So I got more of a medium (not medium rare as I asked), and my friend got my medium rare, etc. Not very organized to say the least. Even better, the kids meal looked like box mac and cheese, and even my 4 year old step-son didn't want it (first time ever turning down restaurant food). We got it with fries and they failed to mention that apparently fries are an extra 4 bucks with a kids meal, making it about 13 dollars for a bowl of mac and cheese and some fries. Every single kids meal comes with fries for no extra charge... Come on! Overall, massively disappointed at just about everything. P.S. this is my first restaurant review ever, but our experience required a review for sure. Thanks Mr. Mikes, for being my first restaurant review.

OMGosh the food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I ate every last crumb. We will be returning customers for sure. Waitress was super sweet and attentive. Nice atmosphere and prices were on par for the quality of food.

A pleasant experience right from the time we were greeted at the front door to the time we finished our delicious meal. Jessica, our main server, was very knowledgeable about the menu items and made excellent recommendations. The Host/Greeter at the main door was not only ready and welcoming but he also held open the door and seated us immediately at an avcessible table. Thank you for the five star service.

It's my first time here and I'm in love with this place, the hospitality here is amazing. I had a mushroom Bruschetta for the first time and believe me it was best thing I've ever tasted in Welland. I also had a Blue Hawaiian drink which is the best drink I've ever tasted in my life. this is now my favourite restaurant keep up the great work guys.

My Mom my brother and myself went in for her birthday which I told the server about...the steaks were well done when I asked for med rare and med....not only were they well done and they were tough...also the server forgot about my moms birthday...which I said I would pay for desert no problem...truly disappointing for a steak house and moms birthday combined. We all so looked forward to a special dinner out with mom and turned into a big flop! I couldn't make a fuss about moms birthday as I told the server first hand on the side about it to make it special....so asked for the check and paid and left! Truly disappointing on all ends!
Green beans were served raw, not slightly cooked or steamed but raw! They did not have cream for coffee. Disappointed.

The place to go in Welland if you want a great steak. The meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection. So tender it melted in your mouth. They offer a great choice of sides, and the seasonal vegetables were cooked just the way I like them. This was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last.
My family and I stopped in to grab a bite and well the restaurant does offer great tasting food with good portions and the price is $$. I ordered Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and someone had a Bacon Burger and fries.
Took my mom out for dinner tonight and I am very proud of the service provided and the food is amazing.

Went here for the first time and ordered the old school caesar as well as the cajun chicken sandwich with fries...The caesar was a bit too strong for my taste but was still great and the fries and sandwich were yummy! I'll admit everything tastes really good when you're super hungry like I was.Overall I give Mr.Mike a 4/5 star rating (mainly for the caesar being a tad too strong in taste for my liking...But the food was excellent and the staff treated me with respect.Menu items are a bit pricey but you get that pretty much any restaurant you go too.It was also nice to visit when there wasn't hardly anyone there...So I picked a good time to go.
Anyways I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back there again soon.
If you want to be ignored go here, we got seated quickly enough as it wasn t busy on a Thursday evening. We then proceeded to get over looked for service, table(s) that were seated after us got drink orders taken and delivered. It wasn t until we started to get up and leave the offered any attention. Apparently no one knew who s table we were at so neither server could be bothered , but they served the three tables right around us. First impressions count and so we won t visit here again!

The prices seemed to be around the same as the keg, but the portion sizes weren t and the service wasn t spectacular to say the least.
We both got filets which came out luke warm. Taste was ok but didn t seem like a lot of seasoning...
We asked for an order or garlic bread and ended up getting 2 small pieces to split (???)
The entrance way is super tiny and very unaccomodating given the amount of people going in and out.
Service was so so, but not worth going back for. Sorry guys, This is the type of restaurant Welland needs, however the food/service just isn t there for the prices that are being charged.

Not sure about this place. Paid 22 dollars for a steak sandwich to go. Was on half a bun. No toppings and 2 onion rings?????? Steak was awesome! But I wanted a sandwich....maybe that's how they do it but I was confused when I opened it.
