This place was an unexpected surprise! A colleague found via a Google search while we were doing a job nearby. The weather was terrible that day (Halloween) and it was after the lunch rush so it didn't even look open when we pulled up. Not only was it open, but we were promptly shown to a table and had drinks shortly after. The waitress took the time to help me make a decision on a lunch special - thank you. I had the grilled cheese with soup and salad combo. I wasn't expecting anything over the top, and then when my dish came out it was exactly that! The tomato soup was delicious, nicely spiced, not to salty, and had what looked like a basil drizzle throughout. The salad was perfect and the grilled cheese was delicious! Get the one with the shaved beef. Both my colleagues were also very happy with their choices. Next time I'm out that way I will definitely be back. Hats off to the staff!
