The nurse quality care in this place is horrible. 1 out 10 nurses are here to do their jobs. The others are bothered or here to socialize. I will never bring any of my family here again!
the ass hole dr thought i was there looking for narcotic meds witch i hate taking/ just a young stupid dr without a heart. and he call me a liar. well will see what happens in court. he will loose his license i hope.
i came in and waited 2 hours to see a dr and then i got the biggest ass hole of them all. just a young ass hole that did not even know me. i am not a piece of paper you got it!!!!!!
Mount Sinai Medical Center is hands down the best hospital in Miami-Dade county serving Miami Beach for over 60 years. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Doctors are the best in the city.
You can count on an experienced medical staff that will give you the quality care you derive.
I was haveing chest pain they toke me to the cathlab tomorrow morning and evening went well
This was a beautiful hospital. I'm not from Miami, so visiting my boyfriend's grandma in this place was new to me. It's well taken care of with a compassionate staff.
My wife is pregnant and needed medical attention on 11/23/2018 and the insurance is sending the referral to the Monte Sinai hospital.
We are very grateful for the great service, the entire staff was very attentive and professional, everything went very well and from arrival to departure. I highly recommend the hospital and the staff.

$5 for parking. It is an abuse. This place is isolated from street parking, so you have no choice other than paying them. Have not seen this in any other health place. Parling should be free for people using the hospital
I want to say, this has been best experience I have ever had with a Hospital. Everyone is polite, helpful, they listen very well. The rate that I receive my Cate from my doctor and my care is amazing. I wished I knew about Mt. Sinai Medical Center when my Mother was diagnosed with Cancer. I recommend going to them for all your medical needs.
Worst customer service ever, never seen anything like it, use Baptist or Mercy instead.
I had all 3 children here, a baby in NICU for 3 months and had a beautiful experience with Dr Zabuleta who saved my son s life. Always a #1 fan until now.
1st night was great. The BEST was Eunice. She was fabulous and went out of her way (6th floor) she should be celebrated. I m sorry I didn t get ever name, but the lovely lady who get menu choices. She was lovely. Ms Bernadette Pierre was very professional and kind too.
Then all down hill from there! The doctor who did rounds was in a hurry and took several calls on her cell often excusing herself into the hallway. She apologized each time, but while I spoke, was reading texts on her phone. And said, I m sorry, what? But didn t pay attention. I did understand her explanations and she was frustrated with me. Then I had two IVs infiltrate and when the nurse un taped it, blood was dripping down my arm and she said don t move, I have to go get an IV kit. ( I have pictures) she came back and tried a couple of times to get a new IV and said I have to get my supervisor. Mean while I am waiting for my IV meds. She did come back for quite sometime nor did the supervisor. I called and they said they d tell her but since no one turned off the light in the room, the front office kept alarming and using tag audible system and said yes? I said no one ever came and that I did hit the RN button. This went on for more than 30 minutes. My son went to get me water and ice since no one refilled and got an attitude. The woman said wow, I should just give you a gallon, irritated with him that he went to the desk 2x
There is much more but I need to focus on getting well and then will write a formal letter. So disappointed!
Dr. Lupu is the most patient, compassionate, informative and competent doctor I could hope for.
He leaves my wife and myself with the comforting feeling that we are in the best hands for our health, a credit to Mt. Sinai.
atencion excelente, nos toco concurrir el dia de navidad por una emergencia y el trato de todos los profesionales que nos asistieron, la dedicacion y preocupacion por el paciente y la tecnologia del hospital, gracias enfermera

I want to do my residency here in IM, I love this place! But do they accept IMGs here?
Unprofessional and no helpful at all.
At the Emergency room the doctor did nota found out with the right text what was going on
And they send us back home with the same problem witch right now has become worst .
I am interested in volunteering here at Mount Sinai Medical Center. I am a pre-med college student and I would love to give back to the community. Who can I contact if there are any spots available?
State-of-the-Art Medical Center in whole Florida and the rest of the United States.
I seriously recommend this hospital for entire family.
Excellent visit with Dr Miller. She covered everything, answered all questions and updated all my prescription refills. Her assistant was nice and professional.
Excellent doctor and service. Wait was a bit long which is the reason for only four stars
I had red hurting eyes and went to the hospital to be checked and I was given drops for my eyes which immediately worked. After 30 min I was able to go to the beach with no problem.
To focused in the payment plan more than to really help people. The medical stuff is good but the administrative one sometimes follow to much the rules when in some occasions the life must be a priority.
This place is the most unorganized, un profesional hospital ever. My father came into emergency and we have being unable to find him for 1 hr. This place sucks. Evade it at all cost!
My 84 year-old mother's experience in this hospital was no good, she was hospitalized for 15 day and she herself asked for discharge , because they did not give a solution to a pain that originated from the buttock to the leg.
I came to Mount Sianai because my cardiologist recommended it, HUGEEEE MISTAKE!!! The facilities are old, the staff in unattentive, the nurses are POORLY prepared. Will stay away from this center from now on. Everything here is old and many do not work, this place needs an URGENT make-over. The only attentive persons were the security guard when I arrived and the doctor who saw me at the ER, the rest seemed as if they were upset that they had to work and as if they were doing me a favor. It took THREE Registered Nurses to put a simple IV and they actually tried it FOUR different time; therefore, 4 times that I had a needle in my without need. I would highly suggest you go somewhere else.
Dr Lupu is a very nice person & excellent doctor. I am well pleased with his dilligent effort to resolve all my health issues.
Dr Chelala is a great Doctor. He alway attends to all my needs especially when I was admitted to the hospital. The most important thing is he listens. I m very happy to have Dr Chelala as my pcp.
Great medical staff, very professional and services are handle in a fashion manner.
Be careful of the ER night staff. Go to a different hospital if you can. I had nurse Ratchet call security on me during a 3am ER visit because I wanted to rest 10 minutes after being given medication.
She said I had to leave immediately after giving me my medication. When I asked her if I could rest 10 minutes she said no. I thought she was joking. There was hardly anyone in the ER. I could see empty rooms with the lights off across the hall from me.
It was almost 4am, I spent 15 minutes in intake and 30 minutes explaining myself to doctors before getting a single dose of medication, then immediately discharged and security called to the room. Including doctors and nurses, about 10 people came to try and force me out.
The new opioid laws makes doctors and institutions so scared of losing their licenses that they treat pain patients like myself as criminal junkies looking to get a fix. I suffer from a slipped vertebrae and it can be excruciatingly painful when it flares up.
I received only contempt, not care, from the doctors treating me here and only disrespect from the attending nurse 'Ratchet'.
Impresionante eficiencia en el servicio medico, excelente calidad humana, profesionalismo e instalacion en muy buenas condiciones.
Everything started off right when we arrived at the hospital. They were not busy so they admitted us right away. However when we were transferred to an emergency room everything went downhill. First, the room was dirty and they cleaned it up fast for us. Then people were coming in and out the room to get supplies from a storage room inside our room. It's a little annoying to have people coming in and out of your room because they need supplies. Cant they have their storage room outside of a patient's room? Then the doctor finally arrived and once he said everything was fine we had to wait almost 2 hours for the discharge paperwork because the staff was too busy joking around. This hospital is a joke. Don't come here
Mr Galbut is the best in the Hospital.I hope I can subscribe to the mailing list to be updated

Very satisfied with Dr. Enamorado, he is very kind and understands my mother very well. She is very well thanks to her good doctors. Thank you very much everyone for being such good professionals. Thanks
"I was having a really hard time dealing with some medical issues until Nurse Laure came to the rescue. She was my GUARDIAN ANGEL at that time. We need more nurses like Nurse Laure
who cares about the Patients".
Today I want to leave written my opinion about this incredible hospital and its members all in general !!!! NOBODY WANTS TO ARRIVE TO BE SICK! BUT THAT GOOD IS TO GET TO THIS CENTER AND FEEL LIKE AT HOME TO A WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION !!!! I ESTUBE A 48 HOURS AND WAS INCREDIBLE ....... THE DOCTORS TO EVERY SIZE, THE NURSES DO NOT MISS A NONE DETAIL ME AND MY FAMILY WE ARE GRATEFUL TO YOU AND THANKS FOR ALL GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS. ..... my NAME TAMARA ROJAS
We had our first child at Mt. Sinai on August 31. Our interactions with everyone during our four day stay were not less than fantastic!
Labor nurses Rose and Katherine were very helpful and patient with us, doing everything we asked to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Salani was very helpful and patient with us. Explaining to us the various options, and doing his best to respect our wishes. He ultimately did a wonderful job delivering our baby via C-Section, the incision was small, and well below the bikini line.
Socrates, the anesthesiologist, did a great job making sure my wife was comfortable and in minimal pain, while carrying double duty of making sure I performed my functions during the delivery.
All the nurses in the maternity ward were spectacular. Quickly responding to all our calls, and helping us navigate through something no one is prepared for, particularly after being up for over 30 hours. They took time to teach us something about taking care of our baby at every interaction, and were very patient and kind. A special mention to Vicky, who has the most amazing spirit and accommodated every request with a smile.
We were very fortunate to be able to give birth to our first son at this facility and are very grateful to all the staff.
Amazing hospital. They got me in fast and got me taken care of. Was out before the last bus.
We gave birth to our baby there. The experience was formidable. In the surgery room, Dr. Remberto Santos simply taught as if he were a teacher giving a classroom. Dr Shawn, an anesthesiologist, performed with a More
Detailed and insightful evaluation performed with concern and empathy. The staff very courteous, helpful and supportive....
I recently saw Dr Nidia Iglesias at Mt Sinai medical Center as a new patient. She was awesome! She spent a lot of time going over my history and was very thorough during my exam. Some doctors make you feel rushed, like they're in a hurry to get to the next patient. Not Dr Iglesias. She took time to answer my questions and made me feel not only very comfortable, but that I was in good hands. I trust her to give me excellent care moving forward. I highly recommend Dr Iglesias and Mt Sinai Medical Center in general!
The staff is always attentive and mindful of my needs. Check in was quick and did not have to wait very long at all.
Dr. Miller is very personable and knowledgeable.
Do not go here unless you are already dead. I came in with severe food poisoning because I needed an IV. They forgot twice to change my IV, and eventually discharged me when I was still dehydrated because they hadn't been able to properly care for me. They refused to give me any antibiotics, instead giving me medicine to suppress my symptoms which only prolonged the illness. When I later went to another doctor, he gave me antibiotics and said the hospital treatment was "very irresponsible." THEN they billed me for the full amount of my visit despite that I had provided my insurance card. When I called to get this sorted, I was transferred through 3 departments and then hung up on twice before getting through to leave a voicemail and wait 5 business days for a response.
Mount Sinai strives to meet the needs of all patients while providing high quality care. Patient satisfaction as well as positive clinical outcomes is their priority. This state of the art hospital is a pleasure to visit, especially when you are sick and require the help of knowledgeable professionals. The doctors are amazing, nurses are so caring and everyone from environmental services and dietary are willing to help with a smile. We are very fortunate to have a medical center of this caliber in our city. Thank you to all the heath care professionals who work tirelessly, putting off your own lives and needs for those of others. I am proud to call Mount Sinai my hospital of choice and recommend it to everyone.
Five stars for the MRI department at Mount Sinai! I can t express enough how kind and compassionate the nurses were to me when I went in for an MRI of my pelvic floor. I don t want to get into too much detail but let s just say, I had to wear a diaper and and have gel inserted into my rectum. What can be a very humiliating experience, the nurses were so comforting and caring. Thank you so much Catherine and your counter part nurse for your kindness.
God bless
Don't go there. Map directions all wrong. Not as shown on map. Could be critical waste of time. If need medical attention use 911. There is no hospital at direction in Google.
Waited 45 in the waiting room and over a hour in the room and no one even came in to see me. Now mind you I'm in terrible pain. FYI writing this as I sit here... Crying
This facility is first rate! I was treated quickly, efficiently and with care and compassion. Thank you for being here when I needed you. Big Shout Out to The Nuclear Imaging Team and The 6th Floor Staff and Shelly in the ER!
They made me in catheterization Where they made a mistake and thanks to God and to a doctor who had not left I am alive, when I left the hospital they did not give me anticoagulants and if I do not get to do it in pain that He gave me to return On the third day now I do not I know where the clots were and I have three of them. Doctors little professional
Dr. Imson is always professional, knowledgeable and very compassionate. I've been A patient for 4 years. She's the best!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We only had to wait 15 minutes and we were helped right away. The doctor was nice and seemed very competent.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We just had to wait 15 minutes and were helped immediately. The doctor was nice and very competent.
Dr. Escolar provided superb medical analysis and attentive professional care.
Kept a member of my family hospitalized with no explanation and then released when threatened with insurance investigation. Frauds.
Dr Miller and her staff have again provided excellent service. I feel confident in being seen by an excellent physician and Mount Sinai in general.
For all the Nurses and personal that works in floor 7 , taking care of patients with urological surgery, my deepest gratitude. Everybody was so caring and and nice . Thank you!!!!
I love Mount Sinai
They are model of health wellness winning awards and efficiency
Hospital is old and outdated - equipment is old and beat up not impressed at all - they should close it or renovate but it is not safe to be sick in such an old moldy hospital like this one. - staff can be nice or nicer.
Doctors don't seem to care about patients or know what's going on with them. Will NOT be going back to this hospital and Do NOT and will NOT recommend to anyone.
I went to the ER - they kept me in a room for over an hour before someone came, and a nurse came because I started crying and screaming from the unbearable pain I was going through - the doctor did not come in to my room until discharge time, she came in like for 2 minutes and she didn't even know what was going on with me - she couldn't even answer my questions. The worst experience ever. They never told me what was wrong with me. All I got was....."We're not sure what the problem is but it MIGHT be that you are passing a kidney stone" what kind of diagnostic is that "Might" - I'm now paying thousands of dollars for a "Might be" diagnostic. For that I could've stayed at home and give myself a lot of "MIGHT BE diagnostics and save me all that money!
This is probably one of the best hospitals in Miami, to schedule all your medical appointments
Fortunate enough to work here. Great people, service, outstanding physicians. A very beautiful place to work: the bay nearby makes it a good location to have lunch.
Horrible experience! Not only did I have a rude, judgmental and insensitive doctor, unreasonably long wait time just to be seen by a specialist in the emergency department, but I also had to listen to doctors and nurses disparage and speak poorly about various patients and their conditions. I was told to follow up with a specialist after being seen and called to make an appointment only to find out when I spoke with a woman in scheduling, my appointment was never even made. Irresponsible and unprofessional staff. The next time I have an emergency, I will go to Jackson Hospital instead.
Great service of hospitality in the hospital!
Im honored to feel great presence of knowledgeable and caring service staff around me.
Ted PA- The hands of God, the next thing for mankind to do is to blow breathe into human. Ted thank you so much for the humor and for stitching me up. I appreciate your being around me.
Micheal Technician - Customer satisfaction indeed, thank you for holding my hands upon taking that grusome IV shot, thank you for the humour, i solemnly respect the effort you folks put out in showing great hospitality.
M Nurse- God bless your soul upon the cycles of life, theres a saying " Do unto others as others would do unto you, thank you M for the assistance that you and Ted showed me. Thank you for cleaning up my wound, thank you for sharing your partial life career story with me, it motivates me to keep my head up.
D- PT thank you also for your asistance, you did nothing pretty much in the assistance, but what i can tell you for most part, your presence and your words of advise was acknowledgable, thank you so much for that.
The security lady with her name starting with C, i cant recall your name even though i kept on starring at your name badge, but thank you for putting up with my nuisence requesting calls from the front desk every 2 minutes of my time at the front desk.
A special thank you to the lady in the ER at the front desk as well, the young lady with the side of her head shaved, i cant recall your name, but thank you for asking me the status on my well being after the asistance in the medical room. Thank you greatly! kudos be in existence on the good things that you folks brought to the table.
A big shout out to my brother Dwaine Hinds SLS Hyde security supervisor who used his car as ambulance in my emergency to the hospital. Kudos will get you back for what youve done for me in a special way!
I give thanks to all who have played part in making this experience one ill never forget. A TOAST OF CHAMPAGNE TO YOU ALL.
No matter what, I would suggest avoiding this medical center at all costs. I went to this facility seeking treatment and was denied service and sent to another hospital as they weren't equipped to handle my type of treatment. Even though I was never treated, I received a bill in the mail for $100. Now that I'm trying to get in touch with the billing department, they're giving me the runaround and refuse to transfer me to a supervisor. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to report this business. And I say business because this isn't a medical center.
Cancer research center. Everyone is very helpful. And very professional without feeling you are in a hospital.
I m here for my mother and waiting for someone to contact me. I ve been here since 6:30am and it is now 4:00pm when what she was doing was a 1 hour procedure. Rude receptionist on the phone with hard communication skills in English. This is highly stressful and would not recommend anyone to this place.
I would like to share this story with all of you. My and my husband experience at mt hospital, he suffer a fall during our vacation, He was going to be admitted at Florida Celebration hospital, he suffer a fall and fracture the head of the humerus, we travel back to admit my husband at Mt Sinai, my favorite hospital, at the time of the admission I requested a private room, none available at the time, since the hospital is working in multiple constructions on site there was no room availablevst the 6th floor for my husband care I was place in room 806 suite as a courtesy with the same cost of a private room of $115.00 approved by administration Vip " Charlene Welker" sice that day the persecution and harassment began for us to pay the difference of $250.00 daily when I had an approval aready. A nurse by the name of Nawreet Kaur Shergill clearly told me that I was paying a room of a $115.00 if didn't had the difference pay I was to leave the room all this saga was while my husband was getting ready to go to surgey, the head nurse Emily Salomori ( I don't know is this is the righ spelling ) told me the 8th floor VIP floor was not equipted to treat my husband, that comment was very scary since a hospital like Mt Sinai 4 star is not equipted to treat if you don't pay. Dr came his treatment since he had a reaction they are assuming to the medicine. Confimed that could be giving in that floor Again nurse Nawreet refused tratment told will disconnect the IV medication, and she clearly say i need to transfer to the 4th floor, I requested they contact my husband doctor was never i was throne out I had a nurse that came to my room ans say hurry hurry pick your stuff and go .... guess i am in a room with no shower, the drawers from the nights tables are literally broken and the succers for the electricity not working. I was yell, by a secretary Name Otilia Otero very rude. I love my Doctors. They are the best. I don't go to Mt Sinai for the hospital. I go for my doctors. This is sad, very sad Mt Sinai don't care for patients. The care for the money
We are very thankful for the many skilled doctors and the helpful staff at Mt Sinai. Thank you for your excellent care.
This was my first meeting with Dr Escolar and his staff. It was outstanding with complete professionalism and courtesy. I am hoping for a lng association.o
Filthy disgusting place with low life staff who don't give a damn and a LONNNG wait of about 5 hours for a simple cough checkup. They took an X Ray and sent a bill of $2800 to my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have debt collectors chasing me because my medical insurance won't pay, because they only sent a bill with no details at all!! It could be the wrong bill for all I know. Dirty hospital that is apparently run by greedy criminals.
Run don't walk away from this place!
This review is for the mental health center of Mt. Sinai. That place needs to burn in hell along with ALL of the workers, too! They are highly unprofessional, careless and incompetent. They treat inpatients as a one size fits all and treat them in an inhumane matter... all for a check! They ignore any questions, concerns or requests made my patients UNLESS you are down for some medication... their ears perk up then and they are rushing to serve you. If you refuse medication they treat you as if you are a joke. Speaking of joke, their therapy groups are a JOKE, their staff is a JOKE, their diagnoses are a JOKE, the entire facility is a JOKE!! And still no one can manage to tell me why I have some random prescription for Nicorette which is a substitute for nicotine! I am NOT a smoker, not did I ever say I was one! So what the hell?! They also gave me another patient's prescription slip! And when I asked them about this they said to just "discard" it if it doesn't have my name of it and that's it. Isn't this illegal and a breach?! All of the staff including the "doctors" need to be fired! So unprofessional. I was prescribed medicine that I am NOT going to take by a doctor that only saw me for literally 2 minutes. To hell with this entire center! Rot in hell for all the unnecessary trauma you all have caused me and probably other mental patients! WE ARE HUMAN! WE HAVE RIGHTS!!!
When we went their for my surgery we waited 5 hours till we could do the surgery and they did nothing. VERY UNSTASIFIED
First, I thought this hospital was like it used to be many years ago, that is why I decide to bring my husband here. But this is Insane! I can t even believed my experience.
I brought my husband with an intense pain. The entrance of the emergency room can tell you that you are in the wrong place to be seen and if you follow your instincts is, that you have to run from this place! There was 3 security guards in one desk by the door talking and laughing. In front of them is the reception area where you have to check in. The receptionist is very unprofessional, her tone of voice is very rude to be working in a hospital, she can t hear you because 2 more employees next to her chatting as well in high voice.
After been putting in a room, a nurse come, she didn t even introduced herself and ask just question about if he uses drugs or alcohol.. really? What about asking firts; why are you here for? Than like 40 more minutes a Dr comes and finally ask the main questions to be ask to a patient. Than he uses his cell phone light to look at my husbands eyes and mouth.. really?
The people here are so unprepared and unprofessional, my husband didn t even get his blood pressure, or temperature check neither his weight or high. And the dr mention that he is going to give him a medication for the pain... really? How are you going to prescribe without knowing the weight of the person? They didn t even bother to at least ask my husband; how much do you weight? This is crazy, and I told my husband to let s go to another hospital.
Again, for not following my instincts, I was going to Jackson Hospital, I ve been there and is the opposite of this one. Jackson Hospital used to be horrible, but not anymore, is one of the best with the best doctors and the employees, they are amazing. I regret coming to Mount Sanai.. this place... honestly I do not recommend this hospital for anything. Stay away and if you can hold your pain and wait for your regular doctor do so or go to another hospital that is not Mount Sanai. This is very dissatisfied, disappointing, sad, embarrassing, devastating....
I live on a hurricane damaged island (St. Croix) in the Caribbean where there is no longer any hospital facility good enough for joint replacement surgery. Mt. Sinai is the closest best medical facility to travel to; one plane ride away. Mt Sinai is an excellent facility with a brand new surgical tower; and a host of caring professionals to help you through the process. Drs Miller and Tamayo-Chelala gave me their excellent attentions whenever needed, and are great people to work with. Dr Umlas of Umlas Orthopaedics provided the surgical expertise with state-of-the-art knee implants and procedures, and an office staffed with more caring professionals. I can't imagine any place better qualified for knee joint replacement than Mt Sinai. I have done both of my knees now, so I'm done for awhile. Thank you so much!!!!
I can not be more grateful for all of my Doctors and nurses in MSMC. Mike Cusnir,MD; Juan Paramo, MD, and the Oncology and Radiology team. They deserve 5+ stars
Andrea and the other nurses in the pulmonary icu are the consummate professionals. They're personable with the family and very attentive to my father's care since he was in the covid wing. Mount Sinai should be proud of the nurses on the team. Thank you.
I was truly impressed with the excellent care I receive from Dr. Grace Imson, she listens to you and makes you feel like she really cares about you. She's very professional and knowledgeable when speaking to you. I'm very happy to have her as my doctor.
, , . , . private room ,
Dr. Georgi Miller is my internist. I saw her today and she gets better and better as a Dr. She is more relatable, her nurses are seasoned and front desk is pleasant.
Very smooth and pleasant experience.
Staff was very professional and attentive.
Dr. was great and took time to listen and explain.
Excellent care! Emergency Room is a line production...busy but on top of the patient's needs at all times. In-patient service is equally superb...from the medical team to the patient transportation staff. I can't be more grateful to the level of care that my husband received during his journey through ER, GI inpatient, surgery, PACU and post-surgical floor.
i love this hospital when i went for labor.nurses are ssooo nicee to youuu
Great service nurses are very helpful my mom was there is the Warner floor and Hermione a menthal Tech was so nice to her, the nurse was very nice to us also . Love mount Sinai
Excellent!!!!
Mrs. Polina Barabash (PA) was very professional, knowledgeable and took careful consideration of my concerns.
Excellent service from all staff members at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Thank you!
Was given zero treatment for my serious medical condition instead was forced $1000 for blood work and hundreds of dollars for ekg which was forced on me in my sick state. I would rather die on the street.
