Dr. Andre Tamayo-Chelala, Internal Medicine - He is an extremely knowledgeable physician who truly cares about his patients. He has kept my hypertension and Diabetes Type II under control for the past few years. He is an asset to Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

I had a total hip replacement at Mt. Sinai on February 13, 2018 and could not have been more impressed and pleased with the care I received start to finish. I am pleased that Dr. Wittels did an excellent job, and I have had absolutely no problem with the surgery. The entire care staff on 5S was incredible. My thanks to all who participated. Already the hip replacement has been a positive life changing experience.

My first appointment was with Dr. Adriana Luciano....

My first appointment was with Dr. Adriana Luciano. When I called One month ago I told them that I really needed to make an appointment to get an annual and refill my prescription. They said the only availability they had was a month ahead, so I asked for a waiting list for any female doctor. They said they would put me on a waiting list. I patiently waited for about a month and a week before my appointment received a voicemail saying that they cancelled my appointment and I could go at the end of the month which is exactly 24 days after my appointment. I told them it was unacceptable and that I need to see a doctor on my scheduled date. After 3 no can do answer for each call escalation, I finally got a yes we can help you and they gave me an appointment with a male doctor 2 days before my original date.

The doctor I have seen was Dr. Maximiliano Mayrink, who was very professional and genuine. So was his nurse who helped me in the room. However the ladies up front wasn t very helpful. The doctor said he would like to see me again in 8 weeks so, when I went back out, they said he didn t have availability until the 26th, which is okay, but I told them I wouldn t be able to make it can we look for the following weeks and I would like to be seen by the same doctor. They seemed annoyed by that request and told me that the doctor won t be available for that following month. I asked for the next available and she told me that I should call back in July (we re on June 3rd) to make an appointment.

When I asked about my prescription I asked the amount of refills and she misinformed me and when I felt I was being misinformed I asked her to ask the doctor, which she seemed to be annoyed, again. She came back and said he isn t available. I told her I could wait. At last, I got the answer with no apology.

The doctor referred me for an ultrasound, so I asked her to see if she could make an appointment for today. When I wasn t available for the time she had given me, she didn t offer another option.

I picked mount Sinai hospital because of its reputation and I wanted a obgyn that I could trust and be there when we are planning to have a baby. At this point I m afraid that if I were to be pregnant and in case of emergency I would be postponed over again and go through this stress.

At last, as uncomfortable as it is to visit a gynecologist, the least that the associates could do is offer help and put a smile on their faces. Which non was present.

If I were to give Dr. Mayrink a review he would get 5 stars alone, but the rest of the experience was terrible.

Ten years ago was great... 10 years later I had the most horrible experience to the point that was in the c section room and I just wanted to stand up and leave.... the anesthesiologist I'm more than sure that she was practicing with me Well I was crying because she was trying to give the anesthesia and she was unsure where she was to shot.. I was about to ask my husband to come and get me out of there.... I just don't find the appropriate words to say how horrific was my experience.... I though that the anesthesiologist will damage my spine cord.... for ever.... if you planning to delivery there pls don't put your live at risk and go somewhere else specially if you are going to deliver for the first time some you don't get frustrated. From the previous Mount Sinai....remains only the name and the sky high prices.... that is it... the nurses could not be less careless except by an Asian one who goes by the Name of Rose Marie. From philipinas... the rest don't even come to check on you...so if you die they will know the next day.

Not only were they great they gave me food and helped me call my mum. Also the nurse who was looking after me was 1 in 7 billion such a beautiful person. I didn't want to leave I hope she finds me again.

I have a family doctor at Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach. I live in Sonny Isles Beach Fla, far away, but I am very happy because responsible people work in administration, I love to contact a doctor who cares for me ... Contact is very easy calm. He has faith that my doctor will improve my problem, take care of the right medicine, etc. I would like to recommend my friends to my Dr. Grece

I have been treated as an emergency and I have also been hospitalized. Since nothing is perfect in life, I do not get to the 5 stars in relation to any exception in the staff, but in reality the clinic is excellent and all the people who work there try to help you as best they can. The doctors who have treated me superprofessionals and with knowledge of what I have had.

On July 17, 2019 I rushed to Mount Sinai s ER. My blood pressure was high, and I felt very anxious. From the first minute I arrived I was treated with tremendous respect, and kindness. After being triaged, my nurse Jose was beyond professional and compassionate. Jose was calm and alert. He eased my anxiety and stabilized my vitals. If Jose did not help me as he did, I could of had a heart attack or stroke. Jose is experienced, empathetic, and most importantly kind. I felt safe in his care. I am filled with gratitude that Jose was working that night.

MSMC is where all employees can be themselves, expressing normal emotions and getting things done, with other people, without drama or finger pointing in judgement. It would be a workplace where people are calm, confident, committed (in their own individual ways), and able to get the job done without a fuss.

Horrible experience!! Attending does not communicate with specialists and nobody is on the same page. Nurse dont even know what medications they giving you are to treat what. If you care about your love one please dont go to this hospital because they could not care less.

I have a very frustrating and very sad experience of this Mt Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach: The Nazi protocol that they have established after Coby 19 is inhumane; not to allow family members and patients access to the hospital; inclusive, do not make exceptions for Alzheimer's patients and need care for everything: This I repeat is inhumane and is in violation of human rights. With the necessary protection, a family member cannot be denied seeing their loved one live, suffer, or die. Please someone to listen: Do not remain silent supporting things that are done wrong and that make us suffer and do not protect our loved ones Teresa J Perez 3

I loved my treatment being at this location although sometimes the communication between all the staff can be very aggravating because they seem to get appointments mixed up all the time. the doctors are wonderful here though!

I would not visit the emergency room here unless you have no other choice. Waited an hour in the general waiting room on a Tuesday afternoon which I was fine with but after taking my vitals I was put in a very small second waiting room with two people who were there before me only to be joined by a fourth and still no one had been seen. We left after another 30 minutes without ever seeing a doctor. Communication was nonexistent. Went to an urgent care not to far away and was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

I lived in Miami beach for fourteen yrs and in Miami for sixteen yrs now. I agree w one of the reviews. The hospital does need more updated counters, equipment, technology, and remodeling. I noticed rat traps all around the hospital. That might help w the rodent problem that is caused from the mold musty old smell, filt and run down buildings. I also noticed ants in the lobbies of certain buildings. One of them the er. You figure w all the money they make the hospital would look in tip top condition instead of run down. Then again Miami Beach in general has lots of run down apts and buildings. Such ashame they need to be bull dozed down like some of the buildings in the hospital. I think they can do much better.

I feel very well taken care of by Dr. Miller. She makes herself available when an emergency occurs, and in general, is extremely punctual for her appointments.
She is extremely knowledgeable, respectful and warm.
You'll also be impressed by her staff. They are efficient and nice!
5 Stars for sure !!!!!

Worst Medical Service Provider

Worst Medical Service Provider

Monday November the 26th
After arriving in the ER and been admitted for already more than 31 hours since Sunday 3:00am and we are on Monday 10:05am
Dr Rebeca Armeteros & Dr Aylin Rivero were involved attending the situation without doing NOTHING.
And the worst of the worst is about a Dr named PADEH, wich is the allergologist supposed to show up since yesterday and the whole Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach is pending for this unique allergologist having despite the fact that we ve an emergency and there are hundreds of allergologist in town but the system is forcing us to wait for the only one that doesn t want to show up in more than 31 hours... a whole mess
Shame on Mount Sinai and their lack of respect and professionalism

My Mom was a patient on the 6th floor, for 3days. I was really surprised at the care, the friendliness, of all the staff on the 6th floor. It's so refreshing to sincerely feel their concern and their attentiveness . Thank you Thank you so much... I feel like saying... " Mom and I can't wait to see you all again" but ... somehow it would not sound right.. :)

Worst hospital ever, didnt recognize that I had appendicitis after taking my blood and evaluating my symptoms, sent me home with laxatives and two days later I had a perforated bowel and was in critical condition, the Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables took great care of me unlike this incompetence and joke of a hospital! DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE!

Worst experience in an ER. The Doctor a Fellow act...

Worst experience in an ER. The Doctor a Fellow actually lied to me and my husband. When I realized the blatant lie, I asked to speak to her again and she changed her story and became evasive and said she had to go see another patient. A Fellow a Doctor telling a blatant lie to a patient is unacceptable and there should be repercussions. On top of that I arrived via ambulance on a backboard with a neck collar and I never got out of bed they moved me from bed to xray and back. The attending Dr. came by for 2 minutes and Neither Him Nor anyone of the MEDICAL PERSONNEL did a basic check to see if I could walk, range of motion or anything before discharging me. I was talking to the nurse about my pain and another Male nurse chimed in to tell me I could write whatever I wanted and he didn't care and I was not even talking about writing anything at all. My husband asked for a wheelchair to take me to the car because it hurts to walk. The discharging nurse seemed bothered by the request and he never brought me a wheelchair never wheeled me to where my husband would pick me up, nothing. I left the hospital not being able to put any weight on my foot and not able to move my hip without pain. I truly felt disregarded and dismissed. It was an experience that left me feeling like I truly was irrelevant that they could not careless as to my medical issues. This was just subpar treatment.

I had a follow-up appointment with Dr Robert Goldberg. As usual, Dr Goldberg is excellent: thorough, detail-oriented, looks through my entire electronic chart, asks me relevant questions about my health in general, offers suggestions as to improve my health and, lastly, explains the treatment involved, showing me pictures of my last tests. He just couldn t be nicer. The medical assistant who took the vitals was also very nice and professional. Her name is Shena Davis and she is a floater. Lizette Alberti, the scheduler was very informative and accommodating. This team is excellent.

Terrible hospital with no communication what so ever between departments. The staff has little to no bed side manner and is will do ANYTHING to turn a profit and make you jump thrpugh hoops while they liquidate your bank account.

Unfortunately, I had to go to this Hospital to visit someone I know. But this hospital was so clean, organized, and what I liked the most was how safety it was.

It's right in front of the beach and looking at the water it makes you feel a little better when you are going through difficult moments there.

Even though I would never switch from Doctors Cusnir and Paramo, my great oncologists, Mount Sinai billing system is the worst. Like a Banana Republic. They send same invoices several times, after they had been paid. They have been doing that to me on and off for 10 LONG YEARS. I decided to make it public because on top of that, their billing customer service is awful. So incompetent, arrogant, do not apologize for mistakes and, take patients for granted. The hospital should invest in systems and training.

DR. GRACE IMSON, doesnt even deserve one star. Not a bad doctor but completely dishonest. Charged me for 10 minutes extra on my annual visit and then charged for the return. When I try to speak to the billing department they say that they cant do anything because of the way SHE filled the visit. My aunt had the same problem with her. NEVER GOING TO HER ANYMORE!!!!! There's a reason it is so easy to get an appointment with her!

Years ago my wife and I landed at Mt. Sinai after contracting food poisoning. I watched as the nurse used a bubble-filled syringe to inject some medicine into my IV. When I inquired, she sternly told me not to worry and that she knew what she was doing.

They tried to boot me out in the early hours of the morning while I has still weak. I told them that I was in no condition to drive. They told me to take a cab home and come back for my car later.

Recently, my wife's grandfather went in for an operation (gall bladder stones) and died in ICU a few days later.

I personally will try to stay away.

I was ushered in with almost no waiting time. The assistant, who was pregnant, was is professional and capable. Dr. Miller showed knowledge of my history to the present moment. She is a good listener and I left having my questions answered and received information on how to proceed. Crystal had my summary of the visit ready and was courteous. She asked if I had any questions on the summary.
The place was clean and in order.

It doesn't even deserve 1/2 a star. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. My friend had to pass out twice for them to care, she was in severe pain due to a problem with her kidneys. Their customer service is horrendous. There were older patients constantly calling for nurses and no one would respond, it took other patients to say something for them to finally do something about it. Unless it is your last option I recommend never entering this hospital.
