Currently I am on the phone with someone at a repair and replacement call center. Extremely rude and unwilling to take care of the customer. This organization could care less about the customer. Worst experience I've ever had with a warranty replacement. Never buying a Motorola product again. This is what I get for trying to buy from a USA company.

Resolved. Thank you so much Motorola for resolving my customer service issue. When I was able to locate and get in touch with the proper customer service channel with Motorola they did infact resolve the issue I had and made good on their offer. I think this was very great for them to do as a company and they definitely made me feel like they value me as a customer. I personally think this is huge in this day and age for large corporations to stay on top of even their smallest consumers. Motorola, thank you very much and you will continue to have me as a happy customer. Christopher Berlin Google local guide.

I as well have a negative review of customer service. I love their products and have had and have many of their phones but whenI got my Motorola Z2 Force that supposedly came with a free projector Mod it just never came. I sent in the coupon and receipts and after calling weeks later customer service just gave me the run around. I posted on their forum site and they took down my review. Wow. Well I do have over 1 million views so hopefully someone will see this one now that Lenovo is the parent company and not Google.

worst experience ever trying to get a accessory replaced under warranty. working with tier 2 support and after 4 failed attempts and hours on the phone when I asked to speak to a manager I was told that there was no need to speak to one, and was denied. I think a customer would deserve the common courtesy for the simple request. poor customer service please contact me if you would like more information I will be posting this on several other platforms too

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Their customer service consists of people with a script who cannot make any decisions other than what is on their script. Asked for a supervisor to call me, never happened. I have gone through 2 moto g3s that do not work properly then they sent the third one without a back. They can't even replace the phone now that they don't make them anymore, but noone will admit it. Asked to be transfered to the US, said they could not help me an were only open Monday through Friday, asked for the number, they can't do that. Called the number for the campus in Illinois, phone tree says enter the extension of the person you wish to speak to or for all other callers press 2. I pressed 2 and guess what it says "this extension is not allocated" and hangs up on you. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a motorola product.

This might be the single worst interaction i have ever experienced. What a disappointment. words cannot convey what an awful money grubbing company this is. From the helpless repair center in "Central America" to the useless American staff in IL. With any luck you all will be out of business and jobs soon.

Thanks for nothing

I called Motorola customer support regarding the s...

I called Motorola customer support regarding the screen coming from my Moto play, they said I was out of warranty, but transferred to tech support. They too said I was out of warranty and nothing they could do for me.
I went to Verizon to see if they could fix the phone, but they don't work on Motorola phones, but suggested I try a repair shop about a mile away.
The techs there said they don't work on Moto phones, but it appears the battery is expanding and cracking the screen. The techs there called a major battery store and they too agreed the battery was expanding and not to put my phone in my pocket because of a fire potential fire. They also said to remove the battery because the screen was cracked and I couldn't turn off the phone and background process could cause the battery to heat up more and cause injury.
I called Moto to inform them that could be a problems with the batteries in the phone. Now customer support (higher division) now tells me they could have replaced the phone if the battery wasn't removed because it was most likely just venting, what ever that means. I can't figure out why they can't replace the phone even if the battery was removed. I wouldn't sent a phone through the mail with a potential of a fire occurring. I spoke to several customer service representatives and they all give the same answer that they need to better educate their tech personal need to be better educated regarding the problem. That does me no good when they should have know of the venting problem and that they could have replace the phone during the first call.
However, because of their lack of knowledge leaves me without a phone.
I would advise everyone to think twice before purchasing a Moto phone because their poor customer support and corporate policy.

I have been using Motorola phones for over 5 years. I used the first Moto X, then the Moto Z Force Droid and in May 2018 bought the Moto Z2 Force. I stayed with Motorola because of their interesting products. This has changed following my extremely disappointing experience with their customer service and warranty and replacement departments after my new Z2 Force's screen blanked out in six weeks. First, their replacement was a used phone (with scratches on the screen) and it came in a shoddy box - just could not believe it! Secondly, because the display was damaged I could not wipe out the data on the phone and neither Motorola customer support nor tech support were able to help nor confirm that the data would be wiped once I sent it to them. The only answers I got to my questions were generic scripted ones followed by apologies at their inability to help. They just lost another loyal customer (of the small few that remain). They care little about customer experience and have no clue how their competitors treat their customers.

I bought a Motorolla Moto Surround Bluetooth a month and three weeks later the seal on the earbud unsealed and I called their support help desk. They told me that I had to Pay shipping to send the defective product, If not. I had to give them my credit card to charge $75 while they send me the product. This is the first time I bought a Motorola Product and I can assure you If I had known this was their process I would NEVER have purchased their products. The Customer Service agents I spoke to Samnatha and Michael did not seem to assist and when i asked for a Manager I was told their was no Manager nor Supervisor at the moment and they may take a day or more to call back.

DO NOT buy any Motorola smartphones .... NEVER. They use the cheapest materials with all of their phones ( whatever the price) and also they have the worst customer support team ever such as Susana Nolasco, Victor Armando Solorzan and Karen V. I sent them hundreds of emails but they never read my emails and they always reply nonsense.
This company will disappear soon ....

If only I could give them a zero, no stars. I have had the worst year of my cell phone owning life, trying to deal with Motorola customer service. I will never ever ever own another Motorola product as long as I live. I will also discourage everyone I come into contact with to do the same.

It was not possible to give a negative star. Worst customer service EVER! I will never ever buy another Motorola product again. The people who work in the call center only read off a pre written script and can't even do that in a language the the MAJORITY of the United States can understand. They lie and write on their notes only what they want the others to see, Only keep the phone recordings when it benefits them and repeat the same line over and over until you get so frustrated that you hang up. I am sorry I didn't look at all the negative reviews on the internet before I purchased the Droid Turbo 2. But rest assured I will be adding to them every chance I get.

I cannot express how frustrated I am with Motorola's customer service! I was given advice about my phone that has cost me money, time and frustration. Now, on top of it, I have no phone. If you could rate without a star at all I would. So disappointed.

If i could give less than one star I would. This is single handedly the WORST customer service I have EVER dealt with. Like another user said, they read from a script and cannot even help in any way after they reach the bottom of there script. I had to give them a $250 security deposit so they could send me ANOTHER droid turbo 2, this will be the FOURTH phone theyve sent, the screen just goes BLACK, and they are happy to replace it, but send it at their convenience and after I have to put $250 on the line for several weeks until i get my device back...for the FOURTH time...

Definitely not happy with customer service. I have a phone under warranty that I attempted to exchange. The representative told me I needed to either return my old phone or pay a fee to have a new one shipped with a large deposit on my credit card. I said why don't you just ship it to the store and I'll go in and that was refused. I've Never delt with such an untrusting company in my life. My warranty expires next month and I assume I won't get anywhere with it. I've always purchased Motorola and never had any issues until now. Motorola has definitely lost a long time returning customer.

I have been a Motorola customer and HUGE fan for many years. They truly value their customers and fans. They have an excellent fan community, which I am writer for. I am currently working towards a career with them. I had many issues with my Moto Z-Force Droid, and although I had the help of a local repair shop, instead of Motorola, due to cost, Motorola was very supportive with the many issues I had with my Moto Z-Force, and ended up sending me an unlocked Moto Z4 as a special gift for my continued loyalty, despite having to put my Moto Z-Force thru 6 repairs. I am high-functioning Autistic with multiple learning challenges, and Motorola is my special interest. I live within my interests and feel that future employment with Motorola will be a perfect fit for me. Motorola has become a big part of my life and never ceases to amaze me. My 2 Moto Z phones are very special to me and help me in many areas of my life, both tech-wise and emotionally. I also love the Motorola Emsignia and love making crafts that have the Motorola Emsignia. Motorola will always have a special place in my heart. I love you forever, Moto!

HORRIBLE - Breach of Warranty by Motorola. Mobile device is under a 1 year manufacturers warranty. Two weeks wasted with phone calls and emails. End result, Motorola offers to replace the phone with a significantly cheaper model with absolutely no warranty.

Do not buy products from Motorola. I purchased a Nexus 6 from them that died just a few weeks after the warranty expired. They sent me two defective replacement phones that I had to pay for. They are now refusing to refund me the dead phone I sent back because it arrived after their return time policy (5 days). Their customer service is the poorest customer service I have ever seen in my life. Their call center is in Manila/Philippines and no one there can make decisions to help customers. I spent $600 on my Nexus 6... it would have been a much better investment to go with Apple. At least I could go to a shop and have a conversation with someone who would understand customer service and would have the authority to help.

I bought my husband a moto 360 watch a in October of 2014 for his birthday. Now 1 year and 2 months later the back has cracked were the watch band attaches which is a known defect on these watches. The warranty was up Dec. 23rd his watch broke Jan. 3 and of course they will not honor it. They want to charge $100 for a factory default. I don't believe it is right to spend this kind of money on what is supposed to be a nice watch to only last a little over a year. I would not expect a product like this to only last a year then you expect me.to pay a extra $100 and they only warranty that work for 90 days I don't think so. I will be finding a better quality product to go with. I will never buy another Motorola product.

I purchased a Moto Z Play almost 1.5 years ago and the glass screen has bowed and pulled away from the frame already. I haven't even finished paying for it through Verizon yet. Contacted Motorola and they want me to pay $125 out of warranty/repair fee to fix the defect!! Don't buy these phones. I bought a speaker Mod at the same time so now I have an expensive and useless accessory.

Shame. I'll no longer get Motorola phones. . . and...

Shame. I'll no longer get Motorola phones. . . and they are usually at such a great price. But a company that would tell it's customer directly it doesn't have faith in it's product is a bad, bad, bad sign. Let me explain.

I've had a few Motorola phones. I had a Nexus 6, that ended up having WiFi connectivity issues. I went through tech support, all the tier levels. I wasted so much time to ultimately get a replacement phone. Of course, you have to pay $24.99 to have them ship it to you first, or you find a loaner, go to your carrier, have it switched to an old loaner, then repeat the process a week or so later when you get your new phone. So I chock up the $25, for convenience sakes, though the phone was in warranty. So I had to pay for a warrantied phone.

Fast forward to my z2 turbo. In warranty, the battery goes to junk. Can't hold a charge for more than an hour. I call and go through the process, yet again, chock up the money. Now I'm $50 in.

I get a replacement and within 4 months, the finger print sensor doesn't work. Yeah. I called tech support again, went through the tiers, was told the phone should be replaced and it'll cost me $25. I said "look, this is getting old, can you waive the fee?" After some work they said "okay, lemme get you over to customer service."

Customer service acknowledges the waived fee and then says the phone is out if warranty. I say "whoa, it's 4 months old!" Warranty is a year. Apparently not on replacement phone's though, 3 months. I'm at like 13 months of total z2 ownership.

I said "hey, I understand your replacement phone's are probably refurbs, hence the 3 months, but come on, it's brand new looking and the sensor went dead. Can you do anything?" They respond with a note the phone is not a refurbished, but brand new. My, my. I say "2 new phones both with issues inside the year warranty!" They were "eh," sounding, like "hey man, welcome to every day at customer service," sounding.

I begged. I said my work neighbor here is rocking a 3 year old Samsung Galaxy phone without issue, I'm a repeat customer with yet another problem, can you do something? They said "nope." I said "come on, 3 year old Samsung, don't you want to back your product?" They said "nope."

I say, "wait, come on, you don't think your phone is a good as Samsung, or apple, or anything?" I get a "that is correct sir, we only warranty for 3 months on the brand new replacement phone." I said, "whoa, did you just say your company doesn't think their phone will continue to work after three months? But you warranty initial sales for 1 year.". "that's correct, the one year warranty is because we've already made money, but 3 months is all we want to warranty the devices."

Damn. I reconfirmed. They straight up repeated that they don't believe their phones will work long term. I ask "so your saying your phone's are junk?" "Yes." Damn again.

Hey, maybe I got a disgruntled employee. Maybe he wanted to shake me. I don't know. Either way, it doesn't look good. 3 phones with issues. Customer service outright calling their products poor. I'm out.

Do what you will but that's the story.

Good luck.
