Hmmm...staff are very friendly and the pool itself is very nice, but the hotel feels well overdue for a refurbishment...taps dripping, phone not working, doors stuck/not locking, and all the pristine white stuff is just rather dirty and worn when you get up close.

Beautiful architecture, definitely not an Old Fashioned worth $18.

The public can't have drinks at the poolside bar anymore. They think they are a private club now. We will spend our money at a different beachfront hotel from now on.

Had 2 drinks at the outside bar next to the pool the staff and waitress were very professional and friendly get place to go for good food and drinks

I have been to many events at the Delano, the service and presentation were exceptional as always.

Don t go there. I had to find another hotel at 2am the day I checked in- it was that bad. For the amount of money that it cost is NOT worth it. The rooms are small, the lobby looks way better in pictures- they did an amazing job deceiving with their great online pics. In our first room the shower was open- no side piece no courts in nothing- imagine water everywhere and the glass nightstand was broken. We asked to be moved to another room and it was for worse. The second room smelled so bad we couldn t spend another minute there. I reserved the double rooom with partial view. Let s just say there s no view and the beds we twin size small. After an hour of arguing with the front desk I checked out and moved to another hotel. I finally stayed at Lowes. Now, that s a nice hotel.

Very poor experience. The restaurant refused to honor the Miami spice menu and there was a woman locked in the woman's stall for a long time, They had to call security and her husband was there trying to get her out. The stalls locked and no one was able to open. Very strange and bad hotel and restaurant.

We stayed for 3 nights, clean and large room, beautiful beach, fine cuisine, but the absurd thing is that you need to book a deck chair by the pool at 7 am otherwise you sit in the shade it's absurd in a 5-star hotel. After paying the bill we are charged $ 53 for the flip flops that were in the room we left at the end of our stay. Stefanie Pierce director of front office was unable to solve the pool problem, as well as cleaning the room before 5pm.

Cool hotel. Good atmosphere. Went for my birthday and lunch was great.

Maybe I had pst New Years fatigue, but the Delano is starting to show some signs of aging. I hate to give such a cool place four stars, but it doesn t seem to have the same vibe as it once had. Little things seem to be lost, the partially dead house plants on each side of the lobby, fake candles instead of fire hazards, the lack of doormen, real towels in the bathrooms. The bouncers out front who once gave it an edgy-fun feeling of sneaking into an exclusive enclave as you are welcomed into the lobby. Even the smells are different. Instead of ambers and exotic aromas, you now get whiffs of roasting meats from the Argentine restaurant. I love bbq, but it somehow just did not fit with the ambiance. The service at the restaurant was great and the food was well prepared and fresh. However, time has worn on the Nobel lady. I am sorry that I gave it four stars; the staff are always wonderful. Hopefully it will get a reboot and get right back to the top!

Whenever we go to Miami for a weekend, we like to stay here. The service is really good because the staff is always attentive. Room service is the best and their food is actually really good too. Definitely recommend for those visiting the area. It's on the beach front, such a beautiful view and beautiful place!

I have to say I was rather disappointed. Rooms were nice but felt a bit old and not pristine as you would expect for the name and location... So definitely not worth the price even during low season. I have stayed at similarly priced hotels in the US and other parts of the world where the stay was spectacular. This fell very short of that.

We ate at their highly rated restaurant and although the food was amazing, the service was lack luster at best.

Worth it if you're really into seafood, just be prepared for a family style type of service.

Elegant and well cared for furnishings, breakfast not up to par. Poor cleaning, I found cockroach in shower and hair in towels. High prices.

Route of an interior alley punctuated by intimate spaces separated by immense light white curtains to read or listen to music OR have a drink.

Very trendy attendance especially at nightfall.

Just visited the place to show it to my out of town friend. All employees where extremely courteous even when I told them the truth. Chic, relaxing atmosphere will return for a dinner experience and stress free night.

Small rooms unprofessional front desk manager and not very clean

$600 per night Ocean View King Size Bedroom and you will get a tiny bathroom where the toilet hits the door, most of the times the front desk was only 1 or 2 employees so the wait was at least 15m, the heated pool is nice but again 3 or 4 people to serve like 50 customers, so be patient.
Location is super good.
Plugs only at one size of the bed.
Almost no plugs in the whole room.

Omg gorgeous everything! Open airy lobby but inviting. It's endless space from front to back seating areas, food, bars yet has a good cool vibe. The back is amazing with a restaurant. Open air grill and even further back a pool area. I was visiting the reopening of the very cool Florida Room downstairs amazing DJ great space in general cool art.

Pricey coffee, paid for tge setting which was stunning.

Very nice hotel decorated by the famous Starck, very refined style with a mixture of modernity.
We were not residents of the hotel but we went to have a drink at the pool bar where the service was a bit long ... The environment was nonetheless idyllic with decorations straight out of movies.

Brunch on weekends is good but very expensive, nights are great here

I always take an oceanfront suite when I stay at the Delano, I have been staying here since 1997 when I am home in Miami... one of the best boutique hotels you can find on South Beach! The entire place is stark white, with a flowing curtain meeting you at the front door, once you step inside ... the originality of the place sticks out. I love their odd furniture and couches in the lobby, I love playing chess around that huge chess board with pieces waist high. I love the water salon which is the nickname for the pool and just steps to the private entrance to the sand and surf. I just finished writing my new mystery novel, Beach Bodies, book #2, FBI Serial Killer Task Force. A few scenes take place in the Delano! A GREAT BOUTIQUE HOTEL and Resort. Expect the prices for a room to start around $400 per night, November through March is the tourist season, prices increase which is pretty standard throughout South Beach.
