It's been a while since I've been here. It's pretty, it's pricey, but it's old and it shows. Don't get me wrong they keep it furnished to hide many of the flaws, and the service is really good. Is it going to be a brand new Vegas style hotel no? The pool is nice and heated and they do provide some nice privacy. If you want a really nice club like day club experience probably want Hyde Beach. If you want chill this is really nice.
Lunch at the restaurant by the pool on December 30, 2018 for my daughter's birthday: the food was catastrophic both in quantity and quality! Making fun of!
I took a Thai salad which consisted of a few salad leaves and 4 edamames without more! Too casual service, exorbitant prices to leave the table hungry! No better for the other guests, who made up for it on the French fries. The place is not even show off anymore, it remains uninteresting!
Beautiful outdoor bar area. The bartenders are always willing to talk on a slower day. Always beautiful people around.

The hotel has completely deprived guests of access to the swimming pool and outdoor bar, for having given these rights, which should belong to the clients, to an event company. A shame, miami and delano at its worst! Money and lack of any concept, above all else. Be careful when you go ... it may be that it might be a week of events ... then pay the hotel and sunbathe on the collins !!!!!

This is a beautiful hotel right on South Beach in a great location. It's just a short walk to 10th Street where a bunch of bars/restaurants are, the beach is right out back of the hotel, and there are nice clubs and restaurants in the hotel and on the strip. The hotel has a nice pool and bar on site. The best part of the hotel is the FDR club on the hotel's lower level. FDR is an awesome fun place and the various Miami Heat players party there frequently. Hotel staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful.
Very over priced but if you have it to spare definitely the place to be in miami
Had an unspeakably good time there during labor day weekend last year.... And I'll probably do the same thing this year

For now negative, small pieces, Lilliputean bathroom, poorly designed, we moved from 2 rooms, Air A. It did not work, it was in 67F and from there you cannot go up or down, regular reception, very expensive breakfast, the only good thing is Concierge Claudia, synthesizing, look for another hotel.
Very nice boutique hotel on the beach. The property is beautiful. Two bars and two restaurants. There's some sort of club in the basement, but wasn't open when I stayed. The rooms and restaurants are pricy, but you're in the middle of a very active part of town. The beach out back it fantastic, too. Right on the walking/running path.

We had a gala dinner of the Biosensors conference 2018 there. It was a pleasure being there, we had lots of fun, beach view evening sunset, lots of colleagues enjoyed staying there. In the evening, a concert was organized by the conference organizers there. We witnessed fire ring and amazing dinner. Later there was a dancing event, most of colleagues enjoyed a lot.
We had two cockroaches in our room and we had to move rooms. The management was very accommodating but I m still in disbelief that we found two cockroaches in our room.

We stopped for a drink in the evening at the pool bar. It's a great spot for a group or couples as you can sit in one of the pool side cabana, looking at the lit up pool. Great atmosphere
Party was okay. But we expected more with that line up. But sorry...the organization was really bad! I would not recommend this beach club. The only good thing is the cheap entrance. (50 Dollar is not cheap, but compared to Miami music week, its cheap)
45 min wait to go to the restroom. 18 dollar beer+ tax+ 20 % tip included. For me this is a rip off!

It was just disappointing. Some djs were relay good...some just were so boring and just wanted to get the money. Next time I will pay more entrance...maybe I ll get a little bit more for my money...
The Delano embodies the essence of South Beach. I have stayed on two separate occasions. The hotel is the epicenter of a unique and intoxicating culture that defies category. I don't indulge in the pool and bar scene but I'm happy to pass on through. The concierge (Julio) went above and beyond the call of duty and arranged a last minute deep sea fishing charter for me with the best crew in the area. I had an incredible day of fishing and caught more than 35 Mahi-Mahi. I won't forget that day out on the water and the concierge made it happen. The pricing for the restaurant and some amenities feel a bit predatory, hence the loss of a 5th star. Nonetheless, great trip. I will be back.

The Delano is beautiful however drinks at bar are a bit expensive. I loved that they have a pool table in the lobby but also the pool sticks are the worst I ve seen at a bar. Only one other bar had close to as bad. I love pool and was so excited to see a table! I m hoping the person who manages checking their reviews will notify the appropriate person to get new nice pool sticks and maybe re-felt the table. The felt condition is also not great table feels a little uneven and felt has pills. So I m hoping they will at minimum replace all pool sticks because with what they make from room rates that s a very small cost for them to greatly enhance their pool table which is a nice feature just needs to be made better.
Great place to have a Sunday Brunch . The food was delicious and the band played French music . It was too loud I must say and the pool party near by took away from the atmosphere . The hotel itself was beautiful and trendy and the service was excellent .
Went for NY2018. Amazing vibe, festive more lounge like room themed for Studio 54 with an original Studio 54 DJ, brought in 2018 with a great crowd with lots dancing
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, THE BEACH WAS SO CLOSE, THE ROOMS WERE NICE THERE'S A LOT U CAN DO AT THIS HOTEL EVERYONE WAS SO NICE!!!

The hotel is very beautiful, but the staff is totally inadequate. We came to order a cocktail at the bar, the bartender asked my card while we were starting to drink, then he took it with himself until we asked for the bill. This behavior is not acceptable even in a low level place. Plus he charged 18% tip without asking my permission. I generally give 15%-20% but I do not like that others decide for me.
