Montage Laguna Beach Reviews

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Loft in the Montage Hotel. Service was great and the food and drinks matched the service. My only issue was they only allowed us to open four bottles of wine that I brought from my cellar (a long standing policy), but four bottles was clearly not enough for our party of 14. Go, relax, and enjoy.

The Montage is the nicest hotel/resort I have ever stayed at. The views are incredible, the staff is friendly, knowledge, and helpful. The food is ridiculously good. I recommend staying g here whenever possible!

The resort itself was extremely clean, welcoming, and right on the beach. The park in the back of the hotel is ocean facing and has a beach that is not overly crowded and some great views. Overall a fantastic experience.

Absolutely beautiful. Feels and looks as if you are on a Shore in Hawaii. I wish that I knew about this place earlier in life. Could have saved myself a lot of money on trips to far-off Islands.

Beautiful but that's what I would expect for $3000 per night

It's as been a long time since I tasted some salt water an had to wash my hair out because of the sea salt.

This is one of my favorite hotels. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The location is fantastic and has great views. The view of the swimming pool at night with the lightened beach in the scenic background is quite romantic.

The beach is just a couple of minutes away going down the stairs outside of the hotel grounds. If one wants to relax in the hotel premises and not go down to the beach one can just stay in the swimming pool area which is well attended by staff, who will bring a drink at a moments notice.

In the evening one can relax inside in the beautiful dining area that is wonderfully arranged and has a lovely view of the ocean or at my favored spot outside with friends around the fire place where the breeze of the ocean meets the warmth of the fire.

Certainly a place that is to be recommended.

DON'T SNEAK INTO THE POOL...THEY WILL FIND YOU. EVEN IF YOU ARE IN THE BASEMENT.

Lately, I've been doing some business in Aliso Viejo. As such, needed a relatively local hotel. I found this place on a whim and have been blown away. Amazing views, beach access, etc. So glad to have been able to spend some major time at this location!

Its hard to tell how lovely this place is from the highway. Beautiful Tropical and drought tolerant landscaping, filled with a wide variety of plants... Very Green.
You just have to park your car, get your walking shoes on and explore.
If I was a young person, trying to find a place to propose to my fiancee, this would be it....

Wish I could get a free night to experience the oceanfront.

We just went for a lunch. Have never seen a valet parking for $60. No service at all. Took them 30 min. To come to our table. After finishing the lunch they decided to bring us utensils. No napkins.

A truly beautiful resort with delightful personnel who make you feel special even if you are there only for lunch. I love the place!!!

Our stay at the Montage was perfect. My partner took me there for my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make every detail perfect (flowers in the room, champagne...)
The Service is impeccable on every single level - such a well-managed team.
The views are gorgeous / the sunset spectacular.

Number one spot for very old men and women half their age to slowly walk down the hall

We live about an hour away. Arrived there a few minutes after sunset which is perfect for a summer evening as the parking is free after 7. The ocean view with sunset after glow and a little walk in the beautiful garden were amazing!

The location is impeccable with a beautiful view over the beach. You will be happy. The service and staff is a nice bunch who really show care for their customers. Well worth the price tag.

Great service but not worth the cost, especially with all the nickel and dime additions. Good location overlooking the beach, with two pools. Don't try to go to the beach though - it's not supported by the hotel and is access is closed off by ugly, messy caution tape. Our room was fine but the walls are paper thin and you watch TV with your neighbors. Food and drinks expensive but as expected. Ridiculous $120 fee to use the hot tub next to the fitness room, and other pithy little charges (parking, WiFi) that make you feel like a cash register, not a welcomed guest, after paying a LOT for your room. There are other luxury properties in the area that are more respectful (ie Dana Point).

Great location, beautiful beach, and a really peaceful are to hang out, definitely a must.

Went here for the Treasure Island beach. Views were amazing. It was a hot day and I definitely took part in the stunning water. The nice, but not too cold waves cooled me off from the blistering sun.

Montage is one of my favorite beaches by far!! Come here almost every week!
