This hotel is not new. Certainly it deserves a refresh in every way.
But the setting is very pleasant, the staff are lovely and the buffet is varied and of good quality. And with a good quality / price ratio it justifies 4 stars.

The entire facility is well maintained and is cleaned continuously.
The facility is cozy and nicely angled except for the dining area, so it is only when eating that you notice many guests who are actually on site.
The buffet has a different theme every day and there are always +/- 3 cooking stations where dishes are cooked fresh and according to customer requirements. The area of the buffet is comfortably spread out so that the guests are well distributed. A sea lobster dinner is offered once a week at an additional cost.
The staff on site is very nice and extremely helpful.
The only deductions I give the hotel because of the old bathrooms, here you could replace the shower taps.
Hotel room was not that good. But the resort as a whole was good. Enjoyed being there for a week
Very warm staff. Every wish is read off the lip. The super dinner (Lobsternight) for the parents is just a dream!
The room is Ok..The personal on top.. but very disappointed for the food, Paid for buffet but get menu of the day, and have no choice to choose the food, must eat what hotel gave us..

This place is a must stay when u r in Mauritius.. it has the best sunset viev and pretty large area to roam around and explore.. the food is another thing I loved .. they have all the cuisines prepared at their best.. also for pure vegetarians they have a special Jain Thali. So relax vegetarians.. u can book ur stay here without even thinking.. pool is another thing I loved.. rooms were pretty good.. with a balcony to njoy .. loved the services here.. the evening gatherings were fun.. dance shows n games to keep us entertaining.. it was fun .. they have this free WiFi services though that's only limited to reception area.. lots more to say but running out of words.. I just loved my stay here.. staff is very warm n welcoming..

Absolutely stunning resort. Staff is polite and nice, I am a vegetarian so they also served indian food at our table. A fantastic place to spend leisure time with family.
It doesn't meet my expectations, the beach makes up for it all around and the staff is very friendly.
Unhealthy and moldy rooms, the pool is more in the bathroom than outside .... Unpleasant reception staff if problem ... Air conditioning and noisy fridge ... No wifi nearby, must go at the reception which is in the other building ... In short to avoid absolutely !!!

Very nice place but clean in the rooms leave something to be desired. Spa without experience 1h = 45mn charged 60mn! Same towel for everyone on the massage table and the girls are always on their phone! It's a shame otherwise the team members are all on top and smiling! Water pays! !!!!

Went to Coral Azur Beach Resort last week, my first impression was that the hotel looked a bit old and i learned afterwards that it was indeed 32 years old. It was okay but just not well maintained, even the pool looked dirty but it was in fact the paint at the bottom which was gone.
We had a nice welcome where the animators sang and welcomed us, that was nice! The room was nice and clean, but the mini bar was empty and there is no free water bottle, tea, coffee. Basically you just get the room and nothing else.
The buffet was limited to Mauritian food mostly but there was not a huge variety and to be honest some of the items were tasteless. We had to go look for someone responsible in order to get our free drink with the meal otherwise we would not have gotten it. Even desserts, not much variety. The staff was okay. But seriously making a foreigner prepare your 'mine bouille', I mean I guess we cannot judge a book by its cover, but in this situation the mine bouille was tasteless.
We were not able to do pedalo and Kayaking due to the weather conditions which is understandable.

Old rooms and questionable bathrooms. Slow WiFi and in the lobby only, frankly poor breakfast, no or very little entertainment.

Rather high price compared to what is available in Mauritius.
I just had lunch there and paddled there thanks to the on-site wild wind team.

We stayed 10 days in this hotel and we will come back if we come back to Mauritius. Very welcoming staff, very kind and always smiling. By staff I mean both the cooks, the ladies and waiters, the gardeners, maintenance and surveillance agents, waiters, animators, ... all are very serious and helpful! A big thank you to the taties of the mini club, for their kindness and good humor. Our children loved going there.
The hotel is very clean. Very clean rooms and service. The buffets are very good, especially in the evening. The entertainment is at the top ... the only little problem ... message addressed to the owner of the place: the hotel is a little aging. He would need a little refreshment. Fortunately all the staff present makes us forget the little annoyances of this little bit of old!
The services and excursions with the hotel are very good. Thanks to Roberto for his help and advice.
The trip with the ice-bottom boat + swimming with the turtles is really fun!

Location of the property is too good, I got a sea facing room and the view from balcony was fabulous. Entrance of the room may uncomforte you a little bit as it is close to the safety tank of hotel. Staff is very friendly albeit one or two, who may charge you for no reason. My experience in Mauritius and hotel have no words to describe, Lovely Mauritius.
Small but cozy hotel, so-so cuisine, you have to settle for it. Good cleaning. Better if you speak French otherwise there may be problems
We had an a la carte meal for lunch (the buffet did not inspire us) and we waited about 45 minutes for 2 club sandwiches. There were 6 of us in all the auyres having had pizzas and burgers (that's all there is to choose from). The pizzas were served in boxes. Excessive addition
Great kitchen !! Huge choice of food, breakfast directly luxury, you do not know as soon as you will not taste everything, lots of fruits, vegetables, ham, cheese, pancakes, x varieties of yoghurt, warm porridge, omelettes, amazing bacon, pastries x varieties other national cuisine, I recommend. Rooms different, not everyone can see the sea but comfortable, hot water, cleaning, large balconies. Beautiful beaches on both sides of the hotel, within 5 minutes walking along the beach. Maximum satisfaction.
There was no time to be bored.Every moment was special.
Extremely disappointed after having traveled a lot in the world, upon arrival we were disappointed after a long trip with a 7 month old baby we were left to hang for more than 2 hours in the entrance of the hotel we just asked for a shower and an air-conditioned room so that baby can rest,

Seen on the sea from the very appreciable pretty garden room, at the bottom of the hotel there is no beach and the sea is stony and muddy (you have to go a little further)

Nice, free hotel. Staff friendly, much effort for comfort. Every night a different dinner theme. Rooms need at least some renovation. Not the best beach, but fortunately very close to the very white sandy beaches of Mont Choissy and the fabulously beautiful Trou aux Biches. Both have lots of food kiosks.
We stayed for 4N / 5D at Coral. Excellent, the hotels is clean & tidy with very good view of the Sea. the staffs are so good with guests and Miss. Shilpa is very nice and cooperative staff and perfect place for the families as the kids activities are very good. the foods are very nice.

A beautiful and upscale resort, its beach is sweet and they have some free activities outside the resort. They are in money and provide care and attention service for children up to the age of 12 games and events from 9 am to 7 pm.
Coral Azure Mont Chosi is in the beautiful island of Mauritius, North part of the island where the weather is always nice and hot. The hotel rooms had just been renovated. The rooms were clean. Foods were very good.
