Mont Choisy Coralia Hotel (ACCOR) Review

Family club hotel therefore not very quiet for those looking for a rest in serenity.
The rooms are not all at the same level of quality of finish. It seems that little by little they are redone; but the end of the work does not have to be well defined!
It is not of a high standard, especially when you come there after a stay at TEKOMA on Rodrigues!
Let's say that it holds its value for money.
Pretty Mont Choisy beach right next door, between the hotel and Club Med.
The evening meal is a buffet. On Wednesday evenings, you can eat a menu with lobster at the Wahou restaurant. But to pay extra if you are on half board.
This same restaurant is open for lunch; but I do not recommend it; really not at the level. Very disappointing .
Prefer the pizzas in front of the hotel (same management); Massimo will be happy to treat you and speak with you if you are "open". And if you are on half board, you can swap your evening meal with a pizza and a dessert in the same place (pirate bay).

Good reception, pleasant room, but for lunch, little choice

Hotel to flee! Mold in the bathroom broken furniture ... (instead of cleaned after warning a stroke of paint was put over!) Hotel lack of refreshment. And a shame of paid water to eat at night overpriced !!

I went to their spa and the staff there have no idea what they're doing. Very unprofessional, they don't know the difference between the various massage techniques and I had the worst pedicure ever!! The portable foot spa was not in working condition and the nail polish came off the same day even though I was very careful and wore flip flops!!

Food ok, beach nice, reef unfortunately broken, service good.

Really love the staff at Coral Azur, their care for customers is amazing. My whole 7days stay there was great because of how entertaining they are. The only challenge I have is the neatness of their rooms and eating area.

Beautiful resort and events are varied .. rooms are old

We spent 10 nights at this hotel and were very disappointed. Admittedly the team is on top very helpful and it gives the maximum, the buffet is also good but the rest is not. Indeed on the description of the hotel it is announced things that are not in the hotel (such as the spa or the fact that there are three restaurants which is false) then there is no WiFi in the rooms and the cleaning is average (mirror not made and the brushes are the bed is not made). The rooms are very nice with a balcony more than adequate but there is no WiFi which can be disabling. Or it is not too suitable for 20 to 25 year olds without children because there are few activities for this age group. In addition there is no water on arrival and during the meal the bottle of water is exorbitantly priced. In short we will not return to this hotel there next time.

We stayed here in the 1st week of June 2018. The hotel has excellent location with sea view. Amenities are reasonable. Staff are friendly and courteous. Everyday they arranged some programs to engage the guests. We got a good deal and the value for money is excellent. On the flip side - there is no ventilation / exhaust in the toilet. After using the toilet the entire room stinks. In the restaurant there are too many flies. Also there seems to be a pet cat who would stroll around in the restaurant. Some guests would even feed the cat in the same plate as the guests. The swimming pool is too small and not worth. However, the location makes up for everything.

A good place with a potential to be very goodif they work on the quality of the wifi, toilets inside the rooms and some of the hotel facilities. Maybe some. Ore investments in the place will help them out.

Very helpful and friendly staff and management. Super accommodating with special requests. Food was very good and there's a nice variety. Loved the themed evenings. Rooms adequate and nice size. Shower water is challenging, changing between hot and cold unexpectedly. Nicely air-conditioned. Evening entertainment is a nice touch. Drink prices are okay compared to other hotels in the area.

The resort is strategically positioned between 2 of the most beautiful beaches on the island and an ideal starting point for any excursion on the island. Excellent value for money. We thank all the staff for the friendliness and helpfulness in making our holiday unforgettable. A special greeting goes to the pizza chef Ivan for his delicious pizza served on the sea, the manager of Sala Regina for his availability and professionalism, a special thanks to the tour operator Etnika Travel for having booked the structure and made us discover the island with his excursions .

One of the finest beach side resort in north Mauritius. Love from India

A very beautiful exterior with swimming pool, jacuzzi, place to rest with a view of the sea, lots of vegetation (palm trees, flowers, etc ...) the garden is magnificent. The hotel itself has a gym, a "comfort" place where you can sip a cocktail while listening to music in the evening, you can even dance there. The restaurant has a choice and quantity (you can take more as you see fit). The room has a safe with mdp and is rather well cleaned however a little renovation would frankly not hurt. The shower water system is complicated and the shower itself is not particularly very clean.

In short, a friendly hotel as well as the staff despite a few things to improve. I recommend it

Following the passage of cyclone Berguita in January 2018 over the Indian Ocean, our flight was canceled departing from Reunion and we had to cancel our stay at the hotel for cyclonic reason. The hotel refused to reimburse us for our entire stay when the reason was beyond our control. Not very commercial, I would not recommend it.

Older hotel but very neat and clean and right on the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sea view is very nice from my room and commen area. <br/> Rooms are very nice, proper ventilated and clean. <br/> I am pure vegetarian so I do not comment about food, but breakfast is very nice and they try to manage vegetarian food. <br/> I can't forget this resort in my life. <br/> Both the atmosphere and the staff of the hotel are tolerable. Those people made my first trip abroad unforgettable.

Beautiful place next to the beach but rooms not really satisfying even water is chargeable with service tax. Breakfast depends not my type though

The staff is very courteous and polite. Always ready to help. The resort sets a great example of hospitality to its guests. Would like to take a few names who have been really amazing- receptionist Yashika, restaurant- Atma ghoorbin, Priscella, Indian chef Roshan makes very yummy pure veg food. Was an amazing experience.

Great experience, most events at night was catered for French speaking people and English was not conducive

We have stayed 5 days , stay was comfortable and the staffs were friendly. We had warm welcome with drink and every day it was theme dinner. With respect to food , Indian foods are very limited and on request they provided only roti for all 5 days at dinner. Rooms were very normal and there is no Wi-Fi. They don't provide water either in room or restaurant. You have to buy it for 100 bugs where you can get it 30 rs or even less at out side. Bedsheets given was too dirty and they changed only on request.

Very good hotel, which directly overlooks the sea. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the restaurant quite good.
However, the faucet in our bathroom was leaking, and our hand shower was broken. After reporting it several times to reception, nothing was done. Pity...

If you are looking for paradise, this is the place for you. What can I say, here you really don't miss anything, they pamper you every day and always at your disposal, the structure has spacious rooms, arranged in a horseshoe shape, all exposed towards the sea (fabulous). The garden completely shaded by palm trees, there is a swimming pool and a two small with whirlpool. There is a free day trip on a glass boat in the center to admire corals and tropical fish. Then there are also many other boat rides, such as swimming with turtles and snorkeling on corals at very low prices since you can easily treat the price, for example a couple of hours 400 rupees per head (~ 10 ). Walkable there are on both sides of the structure two wonderful beaches ... The restaurant every night has a different type of cuisine .. Mauritanian cuisine is exquisite. We had Neermal as a boy who took care of our room: an extreme kindness as well as, in the morning, the time to have breakfast and everything was already clean and arranged. A fabulous guy. And then there is Yasin the duty manager, who speaks perfect Italian and is the answer to all your questions regarding the island: he helped us a lot about places to visit and where to shop, since we had a rental car. I could write again and again for the emotions that this experience has left me ... To close, those who intend to make this choice will no doubt be thrilled! P.S. remember to let them taste their homemade vanilla rum;)

Very pleasant and human-sized hotel. Very nice staff like all Mauritians. Small friendly beach in front of the hotel. Bring beach shoes because of the corals, but nothing unpleasant either. 10 min walk north of the hotel, very large sandy beach. Single room but well equipped. Two French sockets in the bedroom. Very good meal which changes theme every day. I will return with great pleasure ...

Good food, nice place but building and furnitures looks old...

A very small hotel. Not everything is perfect, the hotel is already a bit old and the beach not very nice. But the staff is so friendly and always trying to do the best for their guests that they really deserve four stars. Don't book a superior room, the don't offer more than a standard room besides some free drinks each day, but in my opinion it's not worth the additional costs.

Amazing views..very nice hospitality..staff is very prompt and friendly food is also nice with lots of choices...just did not like the rooms much...

Loved my stay for 6 days. The food is good. The hospitality is fair. The only challenge I found was the washrooms didn't have a spray gun. The wifi is not available to your rooms however they provide you with a phone which you can use to surf internet and make unlimited international calls free of cost
