Food is very very monotonous always the same with the breakfast even moldy cheese! At dinner (buffet) also very little choice much overcooked or looked like vomited.
Staff totally lousy had to wait 15 minutes for a fork which was not touched drink was partly not served or only with very long wait times.
The 2 a la card restaurant were from the okey and friendly staff especially the pool was on the beach was only 3 food to choose each course.
Standard room rather small with us it dripped at several places from the ceiling in the rain then got an upgrate there dripped it only on the head on the toilet and not in the half room. Well many children in this hotel and a lot of noise beach okey very grainy in the water right on the beach redfeuerfische (poisonous) and Morenen (angrifslustig) otherwise wars but okey very close to the airport from and to aircraft noise.
From time to time entertainment program in the evening so loud music.

Excellent resort, good quality of service, great activities included! Only downside, some of the staff are not very pleasant.

Site in renovation and construction till December or January 2019. A panoramic view over the sea, mountains and ile aux aigrette island

The buffet restaurant is relatively varied, a little less for the morning one but still very good.
The hotel is very clean.

They are telling fairy tales at the entrance why they do not have seats for dinner while they are not even fully booked. Bad Service!

Hotel very well redone but too young staff not trained very average restoration what a pity

It's good for families, not good for adult couples. Good kids activities, not many options for adults. Activities are difficult to book, staff don't seem to know what is on or how to organise it. Stayed here for 2 weeks, first room was very noisy, second room was better but the front door and toilet door did not close properly. Pretty location, good watersports activities, good food, but mixed bag kind of place. Very expensive drinks (go to the supermarket and byo). If you want quiet try staying up the north part of the resort. Don't come here on your honeymoon, there are places more appropriate for that. It's a shame, they have a really nice resort, with some better guest information and ease of booking activities and restaurants, and some more adult activities, it would be getting 5 stars from me.

Nice place quiet atmosphere beautiful views but buffet needs a little more variety overall enjoyed my time there.

Beautiful stay, great hospitality, the place is complete we find everything on site. Only slight criticism that in the end was not very serious is that they could put a jaccuzi.

Very nice establishment, very welcoming staff and smiling. The hotel reopened 1 month ago. It's clean, it's fresh, pretty colors.

Great location and beautiful view. Most staff are very friendly, just the odd ones not very optimistic to help.

Be sure all inclusive has a limited menu, but you can make it work. You can see the interior of the rooms are old, but still clean and neat.

Buffet menu is mostly the same every day, but food tastes good!

The food and the service were good but the whole establishment need a rennovation though. Also there should be some improvements to shorten the check in procedure time!!!

We (Staff of Faculty of Law & Management - University of Mauritius) had a wonderful End of Year Lunch at Preskil. The Preskil team was simply marvelous since the staff members were always polite and ever smiling. There was a variety of food which was well appreciated. A big bravo to the Preskil Staff members. Wish u all a Happy New Year 2020

Renovated recently. It s beautiful. The buffet restaurant has attention to detail. Wonderful freshly made wood fried pizza. Lamb kebabs. Swordfish mousse. Lovely!

Our Wedding in the Preskil Beach Hotel was breathtaking ... we enjoyed the silence in our beachhouse ... we enjoyed the great food we had ... especially the steakhouse was worth it.

Just spent my quarantine here, very well organised from check in to check out.
Great location , amazing views , exceptional 5 stars service, courteous and caring staff going out of their way to cater on all your special requirements.
A daily call from the F&B team namely Sarah Jane ,Katriona, Nawmee, Angeline or Tina to take your order, very kind , gentle, attentive and patient.
Full board service: breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner , generously served to your door by a committed dynamic team namely Nitish , Danny, Gregory , Deepak, Kushal and Arjun with a big smile hidden behind their masks. Honestly, portion way too much , I've been cancelling 2 services per day as from day 2 !
A courtesy call during the day from reception namely Sorenza, Lovena, Linda, Joan and Yogishta ensuring everything is up to your expectation or if you have any special requests to make your stay as comfortable as possible , these very friendly and caring ladies are there to make it happen.
Just in case you are anxious about your health , you have health officers Devi and Rajiv circling the hotel, checking your temperature twice a day so that you can have some peaceful sleep.

Hats off to the team of Preskil for their hard work, attention to details and dedication.
Special thanks to the Chef Vivek for the delicious food, Nawmee for organising the events and without forgetting the security guys and police force for keeping us safe.
P.S: Including all those I did not meet but who are working behind the scenes to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.
I will definitely recommend Preskil to all and will certainly come back to enjoy all other facilities , not in quarantine this time

If you go to the Preskil ask for depaak who speaks Italian and is very kind.
But on the beach if you need anything you look for in Mohamed. Trust him, he is the number 1 in public relations.
and to spend an unforgettable day on the boat, go to Manongi, he is always a friend of Mohammed.

For us the paradise. We would recommend the preskil island resort.

I have just discovered this beautiful spot with delicious meals served with smile during my quarantine there. So sad we could not enjoy the beach for a walk because of a tight protocol. Anyway the view from my room is breath taking. Love this place now.

The hotel scores a thousand percent with its location. Had only 4 stars earned. However, there is a lack of information about the existing offers, the service was great, sometimes very miserable. Depending on the staff. Plate at the buffet not clean. Beetle colony in the ceiling in our bathroom. Overall, very clean and well maintained, the beach was fantastic. If you negotiate with the taxi drivers outside the hotel it gets cheaper. Or just drive a bus.
We had booked only half board and were really shocked by the prices. AI also has very limited choice, e.g. only a salad as a snack. Cocktails are very high priced, but quality rather mau.
From April to November is probably renovated. After that everything is back to zero anyway ....

Beautiful upmarket resort, with mainly low rise thatched buildings. Our deluxe room had direct beach access from our private balcony and a stunning view of the sea & mountains.

I really enjoyed my stay at Preskil Island Resort. The hospitality, food, entertainment and the rooms are excellent!

We were there for 11 days at the end of July
Unfortunately, the first eight days were a bit unlucky with the weather, but then took advantage of the situation and taken us for a few days a car (Hyundai i10 for 50 / day - Attention left-hand traffic !!!! Automatic highly recommended !!!)
Wellness area is highly recommended in bad weather.
At the hotel itself there is absolutely nothing to complain about
Food was great, very tasty and always fresh
Complete facility very well maintained
Operations and especially guest service very competent and friendly
Perfect location, about 20 minutes for about 15 by taxi to the airport
Half board was enough for us

absolute paradise, admin related services not very efficient, fantastic location and facilities for those wanting a peaceful visit to heaven, staff very friendly

The bedding needs to be renovated but otherwise the staff is very careful!

Came here for drinks, you will have to make a reservation and pay a deposit which you can spend towards drinks/food, think it was 400 rupees each. Expensive menu as you would expect but only for Mauritius, 2 pools and a nice beach, bar is open till 11 and they usually have a dj playing.

Overall very disappointing experience and I for one along with my five guests will never recommend anyone to consider Preskil which at it's best is merely a " presque- resort " - and will , I am afraid ,!remain like so , if a duty manager Mc Kay whose job is an important client-facing position in a service industry chooses to hide behind a retinue of security people who confront customers with confirmed reservations with guard dogs. No respect for customers ! No regard for customers who have travelled distances to come for an enjoyable evening. Shameful treatment not worthy of its supposed 4 star rating. Duty manager has to learn a lot about how to run a resort with international customers and is not up to the level for this position. We simply cannot aspire to international standard with such poor customer services - a hotel is a service provider and quality of service should be at the core of what it has to offer. What a shame ! A duty manager who has no regard for customers does not have his place at that resort or at any other resort altogether. Lots of room for improvement - but only if the willingness to do so is there. Star rating - a poor 2 out of 10!

Great holiday destination, sandy beaches, friendly staff

If you want to spend your vacation in a resort, then it's "OK".
However, since the island of Mauritius is not that big and there are much nicer beaches, it is advisable to be on the move.
The locals are incredibly nice and helpful. There was no moment (no matter what time) in which I felt unsafe.
The restaurants (snack bars) on the beach are very recommendable and inexpensive and much better than the cuisine you get in the resort. In the resort, people try to prepare culinary things that are already enjoyed at home.
The pool is not a real spectacle and it is also dirty. However, if you want to be in a pool like this, you have probably missed the destination.
The activities that are offered in the hotel are also very expensive and can easily be planned by yourself. All you need is an interest in communicating with the already very helpful people in Mauritius.
Driving yourself (car and scooter) is also advised against or it is badly talked about.
Yes, it is different to Europe, but if you have no problems to adapt, you will not encounter any obstacles to explore the island yourself.
So we did it ... with the scooter :)
Nice experience that I can tell something about and cannot be found in any travel guide.

However, I still give it 3 stars because the staff was very nice and you could always have a nice conversation.

Super hotel well renovated the only downside is that the pool is not heated for the winter and not a lot of Mauritian dish damage but otherwise I recommend it is a great hotel
