The Plantation Campground Review

Girl at the desk was lovely, in fact it seems like all of the staff and the owners are great. Some seasonal renters are stand-offish and rude. Speed limit in the park is 10 km an hour, if you hit 10, 11 you will be yelled at. Obey the limit and ignore the few rude people and have a good time.

We've been seasonals for 15 years now. This truly is our home away from home. We love it here and hope to be here for many more years. Best campground you'll ever try!!

Fun campground. Nice sites to bunk down for a couple of nights

Went seasonal here got the first time ever, having a great experience besides some awful kids picking on family.

Great camping. Well maintained and very kind friendly with a great number of activities for young and old. Offers all you could want from a camping experience.

This year we became a seasonal camper at plantation campground, and we have little complains.
They have a lot of activities for the kids, and lifeguards at the pool.
Although for the seasonal adults my mother often complains of having to pay for the dances when they already have to pay to stay at the campground.
Their is a very nice small forest path and on your campsite you can let your pet of leash, as well as a path close by that you can walk on upto a farm with some animals to pet/feed.

May help, and my second complaint that the cabin was very poorly taken care of when my family came up, trying to relax with a completely dirty bathroom is quite difficult, along with the dirty floors. It would be appreciated if the care taker would;
clean the floors throughly when people leave,
clean the sinks,
and make sure that the kitchen is clean,

But other then the pool and cabin everything is very enjoyable and peaceful, they are not pushy for you to leave exactly at 1pm and have some exceptions to the rules when it comes for booking.
You should try the campground as we are working on fixing some of these things in the near future and have already been working on the cabin problem.

Needs a stand alone tank dump, the weekend campers area is a little confusing sites 241 to 248 , not much room. Great if no is next to you like we had. For not having a black/gray water dump for the people on two way it only gets 3 stars

Great place kids liked it and rules are fairly loose regarding quiet time and fire out. If your looking for quiet kid friendly and relaxing this might not be for you. If your looking to have some fun and a fire it's perfect.

Place great place to visit but seniors visiting lfamily sjoulding have to pay so much for a couple days stay

Extremely crowded. Greeted by a dozen pre teens smoking in a field on the way in. You can basically touch from one trailer to the next.

The family loved it, will definitely try and get seasonal here next year

Quiet and well maintained campground during our weeknight stay. There is a disabled shower available, ask at the office for the key.

Great place for adults and kids. Calm atmosphere yet the kids are always busy. We will be returning multiple times this year.

One of the nicer camp grounds around Nova Scotia. Staff seem friendly and helpful, close to town of Berwick for restaurants and shops.

I've been in the park visiting family and working doing Satellite installs.

I had originally planned to give this place 4 stars for the atmosphere and all the great things for kids (pool, wonderful play ground, treats, go carts) but most of the 2 way sites are on a slope and tight with your neighbors. We were accommodated which was nice but the dumping station is not identified on the map or even on site with signage. It is locked with no water hookup close by to rinse out the tank. We were told to just use a pull through site to dump but they were all full, it was a frustrating expirence. We ended up dumping at Walmart. I would return but would book a fully serviced site to avoid the hassle.
