Really fun place - love the restaurant... The clientele not so much

The Rooftop is absolutely amazing and perfect for chill night with friends and hanging out. The pool looks phenomenal and creates a smooth setting with the chic furnishings and smooth jams in the background. The views are incredible and local celebrities frequently visit there - you might just run into one like we did. We had some old fashioned drinks and sank in the comfy couches. If you're on Sunset - a definite spot to check out

Cool hotel for cool people. Wouldn't recommend for families with kids

Staff were a joke. After travelling more than 24 hours from England for my partners 30th birthday, we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by incompetent awkward men. Angel, the front house assistant manager has no idea how to talk to people with respect and understanding. After messing us around they then told us they had somehow overbooked my room that I booked 7 months ago. Awful experience, had it not been for the fact my partner had family, we would of had nowhere to go. Disgusting, awful service, just totally inadequate, dont waste your good time or money on this joke of a hotel

Fancy nice spot on Sunset, came here with "the wife" for snack and drinks on a nice sunny evening.

Great ambience. service was good and drinks were just what we needed. Must try the mezcal mule.

This was my favorite place to stay before I move to LA! Love the pool parties in the summer!

Never accurate on what they end up charging your card. Be very careful to check your bank statements after staying here. Very disappointing

Good hotel located in the Hollywood neighborhood. Spacious and original rooms. Pool and bar very nice with good views and a lot of atmosphere.

The restaurant is a wonderful place to have meetings. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

fantastic location, inspired hotel design, a nice view ... the air conditioner is unacceptable, really too noisy, and it's the same one we find at the new york hudson (so already present in other morgans hotels. Also some small ones happened but unpleasant inconveniences to report: the cleaning lady came knocking at 8.00 am, also having never changed the soap tubes we found ourselves on the 2nd dry day.

Good hotel. Been staying for 18 years but not the best stay this time..no towels at pool yesterday and a lot of confusion about my original room booking. Not up to usual standards this trip.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the city, especially at night. Within walking distance of everything you could need from workouts to vegan restaurants, gas stations and trendy bars.

The Skybar is really nice with great views of LA at night and a chilled atmosphere.

100% Hipster Dufus, but in a good way. Remember, it's a public bar / club scene at the pool / bar, so expect crowds & noise & some interesting views. I would stay here again.

Stellar location! And great nightlife at the roof! Enjoyed a view of the ocean and pretty much all of Santa Monica! The rooms are nice too! Will be coming back!

The Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood is one of my favorite hotels in Los Angeles. Really shabby looking on the outside, but inside is a modern and sleek hotel. Did not stay here, but went to visit their bar, which was dope!

The Mondrian was amazing. We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights and barely had any problems. WeHo is so central to everything so day time activities were no problem. Everyone working there was extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are big and full of natural light. The bathrooms are also very big. The beds are extremely comfortable and the views are amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is that we were put in a wheelchair accessible room therefore there was no door on the shower and water would leak all over the floor. But even with that we still adored our stay. Although we never got a chance to go in the pool (due to many other things to do in LA as well as the pool being a popular and busy place to hangout) we went down a lot to get drinks and meals and let me tell you it is more stunning than it looks in pictures if that is even possible. The only downside is that it is so popular that there are exclusive parties almost every night at the pool/sky bar. Great for people watching and celeb spotting but also can be kind of loud at night. The Mondrian being located on Sunset was great as there were many cute shops and places to eat within walking distance. Mondrian is also very close to Beverly Hills which is also a plus. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mondrian. Cannot wait to go back soon!

Perfect if you are "an Angel of reality" otherwise it's ugly, bad taste ... and especially it's impossible to sleep because of the music at the bottom of the pool around the pool until late in the morning. night...

Horrible place. If you think you will catch a good view of LA, you will not. Its called sky bar but its on the first floor of the building. Waiters are ok. Nothing special. Place way too much overrated.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was artsy, contemporary, and modern. The bright colors made things pop. I really loved the swing in the lobby. I didn't get to enjoy the Skybar or pool but maybe next time. View was great from the 12th floor and the room bar was well stocked.

This has always been our "GO To" Hotel whenever we are in LA or NYC. Amazing staff, hospitality, and amenities! The location is perfect and the atmosphere is tops!

Beautiful locale for brunch, sunny views of West Hollywood. Limited parking at valet.

Beautiful sky bar, with views externally and lite up pool internally! Not being from the area we could have easily missed this location as it has a side door for guests who am assuming are not staying in the hotel. Great music, great feel to the place.

The location of this hotel is good but otherwise it is ok. If you have children, do not stay here. Also, the attitude at the pool area is very much geared towards a young party crowd. I would not stay here again. I will look into the andaz across the street.

Overpriced given the outdated rooms, gym is very small and packed old equipment, pool is ok but service is poor compared to other hotels. Friendliness of hotel staff rather average. I would not recommend the hotel for the price I paid ($250 excl taxes and fees).

I was only there for a brief business meeting but all our needs were met and the staff was very attentive.

Nice retro Hotel on the Sunset strip, a bit pricey, but is expected with it's location, close to Beverly hills

The Mondrain was by far one of the worst experiences that I have had in a hotel of this standard.
We booked in to stay at this hotel a few months ago on a recommendation because of its pool and restaurant. At check in the hotel produced us with a letter to say that the pool area would be close for 5 days which was our entire stay, to say this was distressing news was an understatement, we were offered the use of a neighbouring hotels pool and an apology. What was most frustrating was that prior to our trip we were not provided with any information of the pool closure nor given the option of making an informed decision. Had we of been given the option we would of chosen another hotel at half the price with a fully working pool. After much complaining i was finally offered $200 back which didnt even cover one nights stay and the promise of some drinks tokens that never materialised.

The room looked nothing like pictures and we were given a room that overlooked a building site, we could hear construction from early in the morning which meant we could lay in on our vacation. The cool looking TV only worked on a few stations and the maids barley made our beds and replaced the towels.

All in all this hotel is completly overrated and not worth the money. The pool experience ruined our trip to LA. This hotel does not look like it does in pictures and the front office staff are not equipped to deal with basic requests without having to call in the manager.

It's okay. The view is nice, the cocktails have alcohol in them. Not super fun or beautiful.

Fantastic hotel located on sunset Blvd in Hollywood. Amazing views from the hotel rooms, modern decor and friendly staff made this place a joy to visit. The sky bar, while not on the roof, is a great location to for a party with it's bar, pool and amazing view. Overall we had an amazing time here for a social gathering and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

It's a great place to stay... Restaurant is really good.. Rooms are clean and comfortable

We went for a pool party at Sky Bar. The staff was very attentive. The pool area very clean. We enjoyed some well crafted cocktails and were even able to get a small table near the pool even though we were not hotel guests. Overall this was a great experience!

Everything was top notch. Nice room, nice decor, great view, great location. Restaurant and pool on site. Lots happening on Sunset so you're never too far from anything. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

It will be a sharp designer hotel. This hotel is for musicians and artists.
It may be the Tokyo Park Hotel of Shiodome. There is a different space from the luxury hotel chain. It is enough to relax oneself.

The location of the hotel is good, there are several good restaurants around the hotel, the view from the room was very good, the hotel offers valet services, reception staff are attentive, I arrived on Friday night and there was a pool party and it looked good fun, the bar in the pool area is nice and the attendants are friendly. the noise insulation is poor, you can hear all the noise from the outside, there were people talking and making noise in the corridor at 3 am, I called reception but they did not answer the call, the prices of the products offered inside the room are ridiculous, everything costs 3 times or more of the same product offered in supermarkets or pharmacies.

I stay here often for work. Trendy, great location, good beds and TVs. Valet parking is always easy and walking distance to a lot of great spots.

Awesome rooms with beautiful views of the hills on one side and the city on the other!

Rooms are dated, but the outdoor patio, bar and pool are amazing. If you are staying here overnight beware of loud music from the pool area. Bar closes weekdays at 11pm, service is always friendly, agressive and conversational.

I stayed there with wife & 20-year old twin daughters over their 2015 spring break. We loved this hotel. The two rooms were not cheap but we thought well worth it after the front desk upgraded us for both rooms. We didn't know it was considered so 'upscale' until we went to Conan's show and revealed our stay during audience interaction. We loved the location and staff. Highly recommend. Right by Hard Rock Cafe. Plan on returning in 2016.
