The overall vibe is brilliant. The music inside is great. One of the places that you always see and read about but it's not until you go inside that you understand the magic that it is. Well worth it and a must. Get a Guinness and listen to the music.

Great place for a pint. It s a bit expensive and quite busy but it gives you a great feel for an Irish pub. The atmosphere is very lively too and it s always a great place to have a chat with a local.

Score of the most classic bars in all of Ireland. it's definitely a tourist trap but doesn't feel like it when you're on the inside. Food is decent but let's be honest everyone really goes for the drinks. the place is absolutely massive so when you first walk in the door and it looks really crowded just keep walking.

The ultimate Irish pub experience! Live traditional music all day and night! Amazing atmosphere! The tastiest Guinness! You have to go there if you're staying in Dublin for the night!

The whole crowd was signing and dancing! The band that was on when I visited was called Ladlane. The fiddler was bending the laws of space and time with his ultra fast fiddling! (As per Irish tradition).

An absolute must for me whenever again I'm in Dublin.

The atmosphere in the temple bar area is amazing, you can find different place where to eat and the best pubs in the world with live music and magic atmosphere. You need to pass one night in Irish pub to understand the situation. I love it.

You can t miss this bar which is one of the most popular bar in the world. Temple bar in Dublin is like Lan Kwai Fong in HK. The live music and the fresh dark beer shall extract your thirst and hunger to dance and drink all night long!

Prices are high even for Dublin but place is definitely worth seeing. Live music makes great atmosphere. Your trip to Ireland without drinking pint of Guinness in Temple Bar would be incomplete.

I was skeptical that this place was just a tourist trap, but I was definitely wrong. This place was great! Live music at 4 in the afternoon on a Thursday. The place is big with lots of little rooms and tables. You can sit in the main room to get the full volume of the singer or in one of the side rooms if you want to converse with friends over a few pints. Getting drinks at the bar was super easy with only a one person wait. Overall super thrilled with the experience.

Great bar, definitely a must visit. Pricey drinks but to be expected being in a tourist heavy part of the city. The inside is rather crowded especially on weekends, most times standing room only. The live music was wonderful.

Great for taking pictures outside, maybe going inside just to have a look - but don t stay. It s a tourist trap, so crowded that it s almost impossible to walk, and the worst part: 6.90 for a pint of Guinness! The music was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation. A great let down.

We came in for a couple of pints of Guinness and were treated to a really christmasy array of rooms full of people enjoying the craic! A great live band were playing and the atmosphere was fab. A must to visit.

Temple Bar is a must see destination if you are in Dublin. Great traditional Irish music mixed with a few popular tunes. Always having fun if you go there. Great beer and whiskey selections!

Overcrowded and overrated, it is nearly impossible to get in during weekend nights, and the beer is more expensive than in other pubs in the area. If you really have to go, do so, but there are plenty of pubs that are worth a visit. Also, during weekend the place gets filled up with young loud and completely drunk people, who often pick up fights and are agressive

Absolute must place to go if you're in Dublin!

Great atmosphere inside, live music and good place to hangout with friends.

Unfortunately didn't order any food, only had Guinness for the very first time, and wasn't too bad.

Recommend?
Yes, especially if it's your first time in the city, and you can't really miss it when you reach the Temple Bar area, as it's right in the middle of it.

Very touristy but... that's what we were. We loved every moment. The atmosphere is what (in or dreams) an Irish Pub in Dublin should be. The Guinness is flowing and very good, the food is plentiful and very tasty, the staff is warm and friendly .... now add a bunch of great traditional Irish music and magic. The place does get very crowded but... no one cares. Go and enjoy it.

Incredibly popular pub with a complete selection of alcohol and an extensive menu. Very busy at dinner time, so plan accordingly. Great live music too. The entire Temple Bar area is something you should experience!
