Overpriced but worth it for the atmosphere, gets very busy but is large enough to cope with that. Good food, good music. Not many locals attend, they wont pay the hiked prices.

Kind staff, good service! Love the live music! Looks clean!
The most amazing and wonderful Irish pub. Original & unique. It has many rooms, and it is very cozy. The smell of wood and beer floods it. Dublin would not be the same without The temple bar.
TOP TOP TOP
WAS OK.
HOWEVER, 6.90 EUR FOR A PINT OF GUINNESS IS EXTRAORDINARY...
Great place to soak up the atmosphere of Irish pub and Irish traditional folk song. Pretty much sum up the Irish experience besides the beautiful scenery throughout the country.
Place is ok. It is crazy packed all the time. Not sure why since their are bars all over around it that are less crowded and plays music. We spent less than an hour at this place tops. Huge tourist attraction so if your looking for a smaller place with better local vibe skip it.
Even closed the Temple bar still having his charming.
Amazing live music, excellent beer. If you are carrying a big back pack, use a side door. And hide it inside the bar.
Was great visiting this place on our trip from Scotland . Traditional Irish music friendly staff and a great atmosphere
If you're in Dublin you have to at least stop by to check it off your list, we went during the week around 4:00 and it was packed. We were lucky enough to find 2 stools at the bar after walking the entire place. Live music is fun, great atmosphere and an overall fun experience.
It's a great spot for a drink. Better during the day as its too crowded in the evening and it's hard to find a seat. Great live Irish music even in the afternoon.
The best pub to lay back listening to live Irish music and knocking down pints
Nice iconic Pub in the heart of the Temple district. Good atmosphere and the Guinness was again well poured. The only issue, the Pubs in the Temple district are more for the tourists and not the locals. You WILL pay more for anything you order.
It's a beer and music tourist trap door sure. But a great one. Expect those around you to be non Irish.
Really touristy!! But well worth checking it out and going inside for a drink. Cool looking pub
It's expensive, but it's an amazing irish expirience! With great beer, great food and tradicional music
Perfect feeling. Because of the temple bar we will return to Dublin again and again.
Been there during the Christmas time in the past, and despite the place being already busy, the staffs were friendly and the place was very fun with lovely atmosphere! Would recommend!
Great staff great atmosphere. Will be back tonight for Tradfest.
Fantastic pub with great atmosphere. Live music and good selection of drinks. Guinness was ok
A very nice pub inside and out. Quite busy most of the time. Good drinks and food.
One of the best place in dublin if u are a guinness beer (brewed) or open mic performance. The street is full of amazing people and the bar is one the greatest pubs in dublin. The street named temple bar as well because of this bar, the oldest bar till date. A guinness will cost u around a 7 euro but its worth it and is the best beer in the world if u take brewed. Personally not a very big fan of alcohol I am really impressed to say that the variety u get here is not at all possible in any of the bar at any place. Ambience is great people are amazing and friendly and its crazy to be there and witness such an amazing night.
Also i am nowhere near to rate the pub
The name is enough 'The Temple Bar'
Nice tourism place a lot of history well maintained feels like a real Irish pub even the smell of the place feels old. Be aware is very crowded but is worth the wait to see history and good food BEER as well.
Great live music, well located in the center with nearby attractions, nicely decorated with Irish pub style, very cosy atmosphere. However, it's always very crowded and the drinks are quite expensive.
Brilliant place to go for a drink in Dublin, a lively atmosphere and constant live music. Temple Bar is an absolute must for anyone visiting Dublin, with fascinating history. Made our weekend trip very enjoyable!
Really good beer and the attention was really good too. We were there for st Patrick's festival, and despite of the crowd we could drink some good beers and enjoyed the live music
unrivaled atmosphere. live irish music and a great guinness
This place was awesome. The atmosphere was amazing snd live band were wicked, this was a Wednesday night as well. Don't walk past this place
I went to the famous Temple Bar expecting a tourist trap, but I was blown away. Incredible vibe, the nicest people and really nice cosy decor. I was not disappointed. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side though.
Quite a cool bar. Very crowded, as it is a big tourist magnet. Drinks are reasonably priced. Live music is great.
Great location. It's actually a lot bigger then it looks like from the outside. Saturday night it was full, with live music. Great atmosphere!
Prices seemed a bit higher then in other places, but... That's Ok.
Impressive place, however it is hard to spot locals in there ;)
It had really good music and it was very traditional. The only downside is that it was really loud and it had a lot people.
This is for sure the hot point in Dublin, and it's almost a mandatory area to visit. Very friendly with lots of bars and restaurants. For those who like beer or is like heaven !
A must if you visit the Temple bar district. Everything that you think an Irish pub should be like, this one have it. Live Irish music, a great selection of beers and other spirits. The atmosphere is amazing. Go there!
Its expensive!! Even just to get a beer. That being said, the atmosphere is great! There are so many areas to hang out within the bar, and a great outdoor beer garden space. Would definitely recommend going here at least once.
Touristy, noisy, incredibly busy but great fun. Live music all day in a variety of styles. Incredible selection of whiskeys and whiskies. Recommended.
Very beautiful place with strong atmosphere!love it!
U can pay by card.
The chicken sandwich was very good! The pints are expensive, but you're paying for the entire atmosphere. Live band playing, good and fast service.
Super pub with awesome Irish decoration and furniture and better music artists and bands. A must go place. 200% recommended
What a place to be. Fantastic atmosphere easy to make friends but bit expensive for drinks. In all a great evening.
Came here during my first trip to Dublin as I felt like I needed to experience Temple Bar and where better to start than The Temple Bar Pub. Obviously this place is overpriced, which I knew it would be going in (a think a pint of Guinness was est 6.90 euro)
It does however have a really nice atmosphere, is surprising big inside so there is plenty of room, and there was live music which really added to the experience, loved it.
I would recommend purely for the atmosphere and experience.
Great bar with very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic atmosphere and live music. Maybe a bit pricey, but definitely worth a visit when you're in Dublin.
A must when you go to Dublin! Live music, great sociable people, good drinks, and the food is not bad! A little bit pricey for the portions, but good! All in all it's definitely worth checking out!
Great pub to visit if you are a tourist in Dublin but gets way too busy ! But if you visit Dublin you have to at least have one drink there :)
Feels touristy but it is a great place with constant live music and the greatest whiskey seection
Good for a photo but avoid going in for an overpriced beer
You will find this place awesome in the evening and night.. its specially busy in the weekends People enjoy this place.
Nice ambience, great music both celtic and pop/rock, but a bit too noisy for me.
Crazy crowded (tourists) but that's sort of what you expect. Live music and cool atmosphere, though the place had a strong 'odor' in the main room with the band.
Nice pub...lots of tourists..like me ...and a few friendly locals. Good music.
Our food order was wrong but our server was great and rectified it for us! Love the ambiance and live music here!
wow what a wonderful place, too bad its closed now.
Avoid at all costs. This place is nothing more than a tourist trap. It is in no way representative of a traditional Irish pub. They overcharge customers because they think that tourists don't know any better, locals do not go here. There are much better options in the area and further afield.
Amazing! A bit crowded but its amazing! Nice staff!
Must-see in Dublin, but it can feel a bit of a tourist bait spot so explore the alleys and find the real gems on your own; there s lots to see
A lively, busy pub, complete with live Irish music.
An iconic tourist destination in Dublin. It is so iconic that there are even magnets and shot glasses of The Temple Bar sold at many souvenir shops.
The pub looks very grand and eye catching with the red exterior. It really is hard to miss while walking in the area. The Christmas decorations enhanced the ambiance as well.
We peeked inside saw it was very crowded. Good thing I'm not a big drinker since we turned around and left. Definitely a touristy desination.
Total amazing place and great live music. Can t say a bad work about it and everyone was really friendly. Staff and other party lovers.
Lives up to the hype! Great place, pints are a bit on the pricey side though. Overall fun atmosphere!
While I know there are many less touristy places in Dublin to visit, I still loved our stop at Temple Bar - there was great atmosphere, music and people watching to be had. It was quick and easy to get a drink, and ever room had something different to look at. Especially for my first visit to Dublin, this was a must have experience.
Old world pub full of tourists. A must if in Dublin, don't just take a picture, go in and have a pint!
The greatest bar a have been to. Its a must if you are in Dublin
Traditional Irish pub. It's on the tourist trail, so a little pricey. Fantastic atmosphere with live music.
We were there for Six Nations, a mad house is an understatement. I loved every second of Dublin but the two days we spent time at Temple will be my favorite travel memory. It's loud, rambunctious & absolutely the best atmosphere. If you get the chance, GO TO THE TEMPLE BAR.
The most famous pub in Ireland and you can see why. With all the character and life inside and out the pub, you'd miss a gem if you didn't visit the temple bar.
Amazing place. Delicious food and excellent beer, of course. But the place! Your eyes will never finish meeting something new!
A lot of History, the Masks! Beautiful Masks telling a whole different story in each of them, describing the differten Rivers in Ireland.
Pictures, legends, and that touch of glamour that makes The Temple Bar the perfect date!
Great place for craic but make sure you get a loan off your bank for the price of a pint here. The man at the door has a little bit of an attitude problem too but I guess that's why he's good at his doorman job.
Live music but relaxed where one can enjoy another's company.
Everyone can just simply rockig here. Little bit costly but affordable....
The most famous and good pub, but expensive . This is only for tourist. The price of pint is 7,80, have a good songs sometimes and many opcion of beers.
It's a must if you visit Dublin! We didn't expect to find a seat at all when we visited at 16:00. We luckily enough found a small corner and had a few pints, with live Irish music. It was a pleasant experience
The best Guinness i've ever drunk. Prices are similar to other restaurants. A lot of tourist.
Nice, historical, famous bar to enjoy your Guinness!Cool live bands are playing there,a must ,if you are visiting Dublin
A Dublin must see... go ahead and treat yourself to a pint of Guiness and their incredible oysters.
An obvious favorite in Dublin. A must see while visiting this great city
I love it. It's worth the wait. Enjoy the atmosphere and soak it in. You'll miss it when you head back home and compare bars.
Great atmosphere very busy, more expensive than other pubs in area but a better place to visit
