Never had a bad experience. Great live music and great atmosphere.
Never had a bad experience. Great live music and great atmosphere.
Awsome go get a cranberry guiness or a Real one!! Cheers
Great atmosphere and nice people. Historical bldg. a must to visit to get a pint.
Awesome place! With awesome decorations! Best gathering place for tourists.
This legendary place really worth a visit for listening a good music, and drink a Guinness or whatever you prefer . It s more than a touristic place, this iconic place deserve its fame!
We were there on Friday afternoon, it was packed, extremely cozy. The music was lively and traditional, though the band was small, only a guitar and a banjo. There were some people who had too much to drink. But you can also meet a lot of tourists from other countries just there for the culture and atmosphere. It was an interesting experience.
Great fun! It's definitely one of the most touristic bars you can find in Dublin but you can still have a great time. There are multiple rooms with different things going on, outdoor area and patio.
Had a fantastic day. More expensive than other places but you get what you pay for. Anyone who goes to Dublin has to go. Great atmosphere great music. Great crac. Don't miss out
What a fantastic bar, with a an even better atmosphere, really this is the hub of Dublin, you pay slightly more for your Guinness here but it's worth it, there is live music constantly and a great crack here.
We will definitely be returning here.
Best place for a foreigner to go and experience the real Irish music and culture. Oysters great and staff although from all over the world so friendly and helpful.
For every whiskey fan, a great spot to sample the finest Irish Whiskeys. Staff are very knowledgeable, some great picks and not pushing one brand or the other. Wide range of tastes to meet your palate. There are also a range of cigars and bottles to purchase. Irish Coffee is also a must.
Crowded when I visited..great band performing live. Polite bartenders and good beer.
OMG! The real irish pub, with beer, cider, live irish music! I hadve had a great time and, if I can, I will surely return here!
Iconic place in Dublin! Highly recommend and Good music
Must do, bit expansive with a lot of tourists but you need to go. Great atmosphere
Cool trendy touristy packed place that you have to visit at least once when in Dublin. Live music and moderate pricing. It will be super crowded at all times, so be prepared to push your way to a bar to order drinks.
Nice place, live music, waitress wasn't so nice though she was in a hurry i get it cause its very crowded but that doesnt mean it cost to say thank you when i actually pay the bill..and i did order twice. Pricey plates and drinks, warm and entertaining atmosphere.
Over priced and too crowded. Can get a traditional Irish pub feel anywhere else
We were lucky enough to get a table near the live music, which was exceptional. It was quite an experience! The pints are pricier than at other bars, as the cab drivers warned us, but in the middle of singing along no one seemed to mind!
A must see attraction!
Not many Irish accents knocking around in either staff or punters so not a typical Irish pub, but expected when it's a famous spot, but great atmosphere either way. Guinness was great, music was great, and standing room only...
You cannot miss this place. Since 2008 they have been calling for music artists everyday. The place is full of life, good ambiance and best options for Irish whisky's. High possibility you may not get a place to sit.
Expensive 8 for a beer but nice Ambiente and live music
Got really drunk can't really remember anything hehe
Jk it's absolutely brilliant for a night/nights out
Moment of my life when i visited the temple bar. It has is own history. Nice place to visit with friends.
We stopped by for lunch and done live music while visiting Dublin and weren't disappointed. The grilled goat cheese with bread was sweet and creamy, and the board with hummus and dips was fantastic. We loved that there was a good selection of food and fun live music plays pretty much all day. Still after 3.5 year i feel i am still in the middle of Temple bar and living my life. :)
Loved the music and the Guiness. Did not try the whiskeys but they had many to choose from. Of course it was packed but we were able to find a standing table in the room with music. I have been before right when they opened in the morning with no music but it is a lot easier to explore and check out just how big it is.
Amazing place for take a giness beer and famous Irish wisky
Very nice pub classical Irish pub style. The have en inn er open garden which is fantastic for smokers will h don't need to step outside for a smoke. Nice selection alcohol and pub food, it's clean and smells good. Friendly staff.
What an atmosphere!!! Must try Guinness and enjoy the live music, you will feel like the most happiest person on earth. Definitely one of the best pub in Dublin.
Must visit, good selection of beers, fresh oysters. Always great live music, and an amazing atmosphere.
Great Pub, guitar and singing on every night. Full of tourists. One slight negative thing is their is a funky smell when you enter- im assuming to spilt beer- but once you are there for a few minutes you ignore it.
An iconic pub in Dublin. A must visit for any one who visits Dublin. They have live music almost every evening. The place is always crowded.
Great atmosphere good food and drinks lovely staff
6.90 a pint dark, dirty bang average singer and staff that were slow and quiet in service. An underwhelming experience. Pretty flowers outside though
A must-see for every tourist !
Nice music and incredible atmosphere are just a few reasons why this pub is this popular
Great bar for tourists, but it seems the natives aren't keen on one of their best watering holes being taken by foreigners constantly! There are plenty of bars in the place, the barkeeps are extremely friendly, there's a large selection of beer, and live music is plentiful!
Wonderful historical pub with a magic atmosphere. Have there a beer is a must when visiting Dublin as take a picture of its red external walls full of colored flowers.
Iconic bar that tourists need to visit in Dublin. Live music here is best compared to other bars in the area
Busy spot, nice atmosphere, good Brazilian restaurant around
I was told that you cannot visit Dublin and not pop into this bar and I am so glad that we decided to go have a drink there. Very festive pub, its big and roomy and well decorated. Service at the bar was quick and patrons were happy to help us with chairs. There was live music which was very good and then quieter areas to sit and chat. Definitely a must see place when you visit Dublin and we spent a happy hour avoiding the rain while listening to good, old Irish folk music.
What can I say? Great! Lives up to its reputation 10 fold. I love this place. Fantastic atmosphere, cold Guinness, great music. A real gem. 5 stars!
Great atmosphere, well worth a visit if you're in Dublin.
Very nice authentic Irish pub with great live music. Expensive but worth the experience. A must if visiting Dublin.
Was more of landmark attraction that made us visit. Friday we expected it to be busy and it was packed. Make sure you have Euros on hand for quick payment of alcohol.
Was cool but in the end more of a been there saw that experience rather than having an unforgettable time.
Gorgeous place with many flowers and super historic ... with several historical references inside ... With several pint options, always with live music and full of people, one of the most traditional pubs of Dublin, you can not go to Dublin without passing and taking a paint at Temple Bar!
Great bar very warm enthusiastic crowd must see place
Nice surroundings, drink and food good, live music in the background, only downside is that it is very popular and quite pricey. We enjoyed it though.
Quintessential Irish Bar. It is indeed a temple that worships Irish culture, honors the (drinking) tradition and music serves as the cherry on top. The ambience is great and so is the whole experience. It is a must go to when in Dublin, mainly because it s so adored by the masses that its always crowded and makes you want to be a part of that crowd, beer in hand!
Looks good but very busy obviously on ad Saturday night...
Just a good ol Irish pub with copious amounts of Guinness Jameson and wicked live music!
Christmas already, great pub and atmosphere a muag go
A great atmosphere. The service are very kind. Good musicians playing great live music. Usually Irish music. What is difficult is to find a good place to sit and take a good pint of Guinness. In reality it is quite complicated to move inside the room due to the large number of people, especially on weekends. I guess the fact that it is August and that there are many holiday people helping this feeling
Proper Irish boozer! The very essence of a great pub. You can't visit Dublin without an afternoon in The Temple Bar!
We went 6 years ago and it was just as good then! Excellent music, decent food and the best atmosphere!
This place gets RAMMED at night on weekends. Live Irish music which was nice. The place was so full it kind of smelt like a lot of BO and also smelt acidic as if someone vomited somewhere. They don't serve food later on since the place gets so packed. I'd say this place is fun to meet people and get completly sloshed.
If you're in Dublin and haven't been, I would definitely recommend it. Even if you just pop in for a pint and to listen to the live music.
Nice decorated for Christmas. Crowd inside, 8-10 euro for a drink, drunk people. What it meant to be: drunk crowd place.
Great party place! Loads of tourists! Great for an evening of fun and boozing.
Beer is seriously over priced here but the atmosphere makes up for that.
Great place to visit for a pint of Guinness, always lively with live music
Sean, the bartender was a great plus in a busy, popular legend of a bar. Local live music, prompt service and good food. Go early in the day if you want less of a crowd.
Best oysters we have ever had and we travel the world!!! What a fun experience. A must while being a tourist in Dublin!
Live Irish music. Excellent atmosphere! A lot of customers but still decent service time. On "whiskey bar side" it was easy to find seats and have a small dinner. Price level quite Ok even though there are lot of tourists. Service was fast, good and polite! Definitely I'll come over again. Food was good basic food and hey this is not a place where you go for fine dining.
To me, as a tourist, seemed very "Irish", not only for tourist. Very good food, great choice of beer and whiskeys. If you like oysters you'll find various good recipes.
A bit expensive, but amazing music and great atmosphere!
For Halloween, The Temple Bar was dressed as if it were Christmas. Great atmosphere. Little crowded. A must do for the Americans.
Great pub! Visiting Dublin for one night and watched the final between Dublin and Kerry here. We also went back for late night music later. The music was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing!
That being said, we enjoy loud crowded bars. It was almost like a concert inside. Expect to get bumped by people passing every couple minutes.
Had no problem getting drinks.
The Temple Bar is of course a HUGE tourist attraction in Dublin, and that's what you get, stereotypical Irish decor and 'cultute' being ate up by tourists of all kinds. More Mardi Gras than true Irish pub. Drinks are also very expensive.
An absolute staple to go see. It's packed. Drinks are as pricey as you will see around for a pint. Live music on weekends. It's worth a stop, but also is arguably overrated. Huge area with the multiple bars.
A nice place to be. The staff is very friendly and courteous . We ARE COME back
Loved the decor, armosphere and range of drinks, particularly the whiskey. Decent live music. Food was OK. Expensive, though.
Super fun. Pretty much all tourists, but the music is great and lots of friendly people
Nice music and good beer selection. A bit on the pricey side but not surprising given the tourist area it is in.
The true irish spirit you can find here. Lots of entertainment
Had a fantastic time here for my 25th birthday from England. Wide variety on the taps, happy to give out tasters, quick service, wonderful atmosphere and of course the best Guinness I've had (except for the brewery)
Very popular bar here in Dublin. Live Music Tons of people. Historical. Very Fun. The only thing we disliked was they raise the prices of beer as the bar gets busier. #LOCALGUIDES #womenwhoguide #letsguide #googleguides #dublinireland #templebardublin #templebar
This is a great place to visit, great atmosphere, good music. An all in good night.
Packed the entire time we were there. Pretty sure it's always packed, but the staff are very friendly and work quickly to get to everyone.
Very cute pub! Very historic and warm. A must in Dublin
Must have every tourist. Place with big history, life music, good beer and delicious food.
Quintessential Irish bar !!!! With awesome Irish music. Must visit.
A fun place for a quick bite or to sit a while and have a few drinks and listen to the live music. We had the club sandwhich. It was great!
It is not a question like it or not. It is one of the must visit place in every city. Very traditional and very touristic. It is bigger then it looks from outside, located on the main street ot Temple Bar district. Life music inside, not easy to find a place but also not terribly overcrowded. Souvenir shop and whiskey shop located right next door.
