If you visit Dublin, you can't come back missing going to Temple bar area and off course the landmark Temple bar. It has a typical Irish Pub feel you would not want to ever miss. The entire cobbled area is worth a walk to take back an Irish Pub feel that will never fade away. Must go place.

If you go to the Temple Bar area you should visit this place. Great Irish pub with good food and live music. It is a bit pricey but the food portions are large. It is big on whiskeys and has an extensive menu of them. It is a must visit whenever we are in Dublin

This place was a blast. It was packed with people and had great service. The guiness was flowing for sure. Music was great and with the amount of people that were there the bar staff managed to chat with everyone!!

Very touristy but that's almost part of its charm. The inside is heavily decorated and the atmosphere is buzzing. There is typical Irish live music. If you can find somewhere to sit or perch it's well worth popping in for a pint of Guinness just for the experience. There are probably more 'authentic pubs' to visit but if you are happy to take something on face value and enjoy being a typical tourist for an hour or two you will have a laugh.

Great bar, but very touristy. It was extremely packed inside and we were there on a weeknight, cant imagine what that place looks like on a busy day! Drinks were great, nachos were also good. Our waiter was very friendly and constantly checking on us. Definitely a fun place to see and have a drink or two!

This place is iconic. They were playing live music and it was very nice. It is a fun place to go with friends and enjoy a different evening. If you visit Dublin, It is a obligation to visit The Temple Bar, tipical Irish bar.

Temple bar is great in the way that, yes it is a tourist trap, but you will meet people from many different places because of that fact.
It is big inside with multiple rooms and commercialized music playing (expect Ed Sheeran).
I went here a few times with people from all over at my hotel (France, Austria, West Coast USA) and had a great time.

If you want to check out bars with more authentic Irish to them, check out the back page in northern Dublin or the brazen head. I do recommend you at least pop into temple bar to experience it though.

We were here on Christmas Eve and it was very busy. We found a place on the end of the bar. It took maybe 10 minutes before we were asked for our order but the guy was very friendly. Our pizza and drinks were good. There was live music playing and the place was decked out in Christmas decorations.

Very busy but it's the real deal! Irish music and quick service despite it being packed. It's a huge place and the energy is amazing! Any time of the day you will have a great time there.

It's quirky and fun, but the prices are limiting. It was comparable to Reykjavik, so it wasn't a long stop...don't think I could afford a session in here! Lots of booths and different areas to enjoy and right in the heart of the Temple Bar area, it's great for a stop whilst enjoying the vintage shops and atmosphere.

Really over rated. It's insanely crowded with everyone bumping into each other and takes forever to get a drink. Glad I saw it but some many other better bars to go in and listen to live music.

A bit crowded on the weekend but unforgettable for sure. If your looking for less of a crowd, probably best to avoid bars in this area.. but if your in the mood for some party and fun , temple bar for sure.

Excellent food and Irish coffee!

Excellent food and Irish coffee!
Live music was fun too. 100 sandwich menu, try The Power Breakfast with eggs and salmon on Guinness bread, with Irish coffee.

What else is there to say about this place, that hasn t already been said?! It s truly a landmark and is the Real Temple bar of the namesake neighborhood. If you are into buying T Shirts from bars- this is the place to get one! 10 euro. Can t beat that price, especially when it s a highly coveted tourist spot. It s a huge bar & it s packed nonstop. Go and have a pint and enjoy the sounds of great nightly music.

Needs to be on your top things to do in this beautiful city. Live music almost all the time. Great selection of beers. Always packed with tourist but there is a reason for it. You will experience Dublin in this place.

Have a 24 hour layover here in Dublin and decided to go site seeing, read online that this would be a great place to stop in and they were correct. The atmosphere is great, food and beer were fantastic. Also have Authentic Irish music playing live. Definitely check it out.

too pricey and touristy, it used to be a great place, but now it's packed with families and flocks of tourists taking photos (like me....) but anyway I used to go there 10 years ago and it was much better then

Great place! Was expecting a complete tourist trap and yep - there were tourists there (including us), but the staff was friendly, the music fantastic and the oysters and Guinness DIVINE. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Dublin is a city of electricity, The temple bar is a central spot and famous bar in the centre. Can get very busy in the night times, live music every night. It is a bit pricey! But the atmosphere and the range of people you meet are worth it

The most famous bar in Dublin, of course you gotta stop by. I love the ambience, turn out the real Coffee Irish is super strong compare to all I had ever tried in US; but can t deny how good it tastes.

Guys, trust me, this is one of the best bars on earth! The atmosphere was so, so great which made my day. The live music performance was awesome as well. I love the vibe so much! This is absolutely a must-visit place. The only thing that you might complain about is the crowded space. Well, it s too good to be not crowded.

Amazing place with an amazing atmosphere! I didn't get a chance to eat here as the place was completley packed, but definitely had some pints. They also sell some amazing whiskey that they make.

If you are in Dublin you can't miss a trip to Temple Bar, a classic Irish pub. It is very crowded since it's probably the most famous pub in temple bar, but there is live music, good beer (it's quite expensive, just as any other place in Dublin) and nice people!

People will say this place is touristy and it is. But it's also pretty fun. It's a large venue with a lot of different areas to sit. If you go on the right night you'll meet a lot of interesting people. Worth checking out

Absolute tourist trap and you'd have to remortgage your house if you wanna drink in there all night, probably won't meet many Irish people either unless they work there... Nonetheless is a great place for atmosphere and a must visit in Dublin! Music is always of a very high standard and never Any trouble either! There's a few bars as well if the main drag is too rowdy for you

We almost did not stop in because we heard it was mainly tourists and we wanted a more genuine pub. We popped in and grabbed a beer, place was mobbed, but really good energy and the music was great. We would go back!

I'll echo what everyone else is saying regarding it being a tourist trap. However, we went here during a Sandeman's walking tour and walked through the entire Temple Bar area. The area is very cool and definitely feels much more touristy than any other part of Dublin we explored. Cool area-but talk to your B&B owners or hotel concierge for much more authentic or local places to enjoy a pint!

The Temple Bar is one of the iconic bars in Dublin. They have live music almost every night and the place is always packed. There is place that I have been to in the world with a more relaxed fun atmosphere than the Temple Bar
