Excellent reception and service, especially reception staff

First / I want to convey my humble experience related to the Movenpick Hotel West Bay .. We arrived at dawn on Monday, more than 200 people at the same time, and there was great pressure on the reception and entry procedures .. But the director of the reception, Professor Hassan, played an exceptional role and worked to enter the rooms quickly. And his smile despite the huge amount ..

Absolutely stunning. The variety of food on offer was incredible and the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. A picturesque view from the top floor indoor pool area.

Good food. Dry hotel. No bars. But 4 seasons and hilton are across the street.

This is possibly the worst hotel we stayed in.
- the curtain poles were broken and wouldn't close, this caused us issues with a 6 month baby.
- we asked for drinking water for babies bottle and were told we would have to pay for it.
- the spa within the hotel building isnt part of the hotel and the dodgy stuff demanded upfront payment for treatments to then give a treatment much shorter then actual time.

Nice hotel - no alcohol available on premises hence the lower rating

I'm a person who loves to enjoy in different hotels every month but I never saw a hotel that charges guests to use the jacuzzi in my entire life which made me want to check out immediately and how come the 500 ml water is for 20 riyal and More

Service was great every cent was worth the visit . Room was extremely clean and the pool on the 26th floor what a view. Breakfast and buffet lunch was outstanding
One of the best experience I have had for a transit stay . I will be coming to stay again .

A dirty hotel from the first day we lived in a dirty bathroom smell and asked for a blanket to increase Jaboli blanket cracked and never clean and did not give me others and breakfast refined and not tasty and I asked for Texi from the lobby and the employee lying to the occupants of the taxi on the phone when my son to ride expensive limousine and their money is very exploitative and above The service of asphalt and air conditioning is generally hot in the hotel and they did not inform me of the Jake time and sat up an extra 5 hours and paid half the amount of the hike

Great time with Movenpick Hotel West Bay Doha. Our experience in the hotel was one the best with upgraded room, scenic view are astonishing, Fork knife restaurant serve different cuisines, staff very friendly & nice especially Ms.Rhea always giving discounts rate. Definitely we will be coming back and highly recommended.

An ideal hotel to stay. Rooms are neat and clean. There is some reservation about the room service since they forgot to wake me up. The airport shuttle service is also excellent. The hotel location is also very nice.

Service is very good. I think rooms can be better cleaned, specially bathrooms. Also, restaurant is not attached to the hotel, and that is something that should be mentioned before you eat there as you want something bill something your room and you can't, food is very good thou.

Overall score for me is 7/10.

This place is known as hotel, it holds tge name of a five stars chain already, the building resembles a traditional boat, it as cafe's and restaurants that offer a nice variety of food and drinks, as well as indoors area for smokers and shisha.
Anyway, to me its nice to try anyplace, especially if they show worldcup matches.

Exceptionally high customer care. Very professional and friendly and ever so happy to help staff. The customer is received like a King right from they re received from the cars and their luggage taken well care of.
My family and I had an amazing stay with you guys at Hotel MovenPick and we very highly recommend you to future customers.

- Waited for Driver for about 45 mins on the Airport. The driver looks unprofessional, hiding my name and hotel banner in his file and expecting me to find him.
- Room cleaning service did not clean my room on the second day until I called to reception for regular daily cleaning and replacement of basic amenities.
- Very limited options for the Vegetarians in the hotel lounge.

Racist hotel, we were here because our flight delay, so we got meal coupons from Qatar airway. But, every time we come to the cafeteria trying to spend the coupons, they always tell us "come back later", or.. oh you have to book in advance (funny...they told us the restaurant opens at 18:30 for dinner but the restaurant was packed at18:30, get the point? And people in there are all Arabians, get the point again?) Anyway, after arguing with them , we got a table right away, why? I thought it's just opened, and fully booked, why all of a sudden there is a table available?

Most awsum experience i have got in this hotel. The staff is so much good. Everything was awsum. In lunch theu have so much variety i cannot explain in words. Very good food and staff they have. And secomd thing location is nearby to beach. Good place i have ever visited in my life

Everything about this hotel is great, except the beds are very soft.... staff are lovely, facilities are perfect, staff are very kind and attentive.

What can we say ... luxury hotels with great attention to detail. Excellent buffet breakfast. On the top floor you can enjoy the spa and swimming pool. The view is very beautiful both towards the sea and the center of the new city. Recommended

Hotel is located on Diplomatic street which hosts major offices. Not so good for tourist. However well maintained and office class suitable environment

i have a contract to stay there for one year, and housekeeping to clean twice a week...when i requested for an extra towel (not cleaning just a towel) i get denied, saying that they only give towels the day they clean. great customer service..not

So. I stayed there for 2 months in studio apartment. Me and my team members have same reviews about this hotel. they are:
1. They will not provide you with anything.
2. In my contract 2 days room cleaning was mentioned to which also they will not provide more than 1 lt of water, not they will give you extra shampoo, extra napkins, extra tissue or anything if you ask. Water restriction on 1 lt on day of cleaning.
3. Anything you ask the reception, they have no idea about it, they will double check with the team every single time and still comes with "NO".
4.Most heard phrase in this hotel was "We don't provide".
5. Cleanliness was also not up to mark-the towels i used in the room, i had virus infection all over my body.
6. Breakfast for Indians -very poor. Only 1 option available in Indian item, that is also tasteless.
7. staff are very rude. Cleaning boy also rude.
8. Breakfast you are not allowed to take fruits with you.
9. Initially they were giving Kitchen duster, after a month they said they dont provide duster.
To my other colleagues in same hotel they were still providing the duster
Every time they are lying about stuff.
10. Overall they have nothing good to stay and spend your money. I was in crowne plaza for 1 month. its very good, breakfast is awesome, facilities are awesome. stay there.
11. well not even 1 star is ok for this hotel. -ve marking should be here.
12. Becuase i was on my company's assignment i had no option of changing hotel all of sudden, becuase payment was done. still i fought and after 2 months i changed the hotel.

Spacious suite room with a nice veiw of the Gulf. The bed is super comfortable, the staff is friendly, the food selection at the buffett is good. 5 min walk to city center mall.

relaxing hotel great pool and fitness centre with great city views

Small indoor swimming pool, kids aren't separated, very nice view of the city and the bay. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Price is mid range.

My family stayed for 1 night and we enjoyed the clean and fresh smell of the rooms also the comfy bed. The receptionist who assist us is friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Super service, was travel for 1 day. The room is spacious with everything you need, food for every taste, there is meat and seafood. Pool on the top floor.

We only stayed in this hotel during our layover under the discover qatar program of Qatar airways. We had a hassle-free experience from airport pick-up and drop-off, and check-in process! Too bad it was only for a few hours; but nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay! Kudos to the Filipino receptionists!

Because I did not have food included on my reservation so I am not in position to comment on that (which is why I did not put a 10 on ranking table), everything else is superb. Hotel is very well placed close to the city center, Katara cultural village, Museum of Islamic history and other attractions. If you are visiting, this is one of the central locations you can find yourself at. Hotel staff is very cooperative and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I hope to stay again when I visit next.

I was expecting the service in big chain like Movenpick very high but unfortunately I saw the opposite side , Rooms not clean probably, if you order Bellboy service to carry our luggage it took 35 min and by the end he didn t dome till I went by myself to reception to ask him again , There s no pray mate In the rooms , We order ala cart food and it took almost one hour till they served for me and by the end it was cold , Hostess never pay attention for you and when I become angry the restaurant manager was very polite and serve me by himself very fast with big smile he let me forget what they did with me ? I appreciate him .

A good experience but I hope next time the jacuzzi and sauna have been finished
