Great hotel friendly staff. Very clean and very good rooms can t rate it highly enough

Stayed two nights upon arrival they offered me welcome drink and my kids a nice toy, check in was smooth, my room was overlooking to the gulf

Decent quality hotel. Great food at Wok Mee, but no bar and no beer in the hotel.

This should be a 4 star average hotel. Some parts of the hotel are really outdated.
Good thing is free shuttle from and to the airport, but have in mind that it doesn't always leave the hotel in time.
In our case it was 20 minutes late, which caused us to almost run to catch our flight.

Movenpick is awesome and highly recommended. All the staff is accommodating and friendly, the service was very fast and attentive to every request.

My family enjoyed neither my LO.

We stayed here for few hours as we had long layover between flights. Its cozy, easy & great friendly staff. The rooms were neat & the beds were amazing! Like a cloud with clouds for pillows. We had complimentary meals and so far the lunch was ok but with a great display of desserts. We came back for dinner & it was actually pretty good. Lots of flavor, local dishes & options.

I like staying at your hotel (and have stayed there A LOT - many hundreds of nights!) but everything is starting to get a bit old and worn. A few examples from my last couple of visits (you will have to check the room I have stayed in - usually the 15 series).
1. The door to the fridge coming off its hinges
2. small mirror in the bathroom loose on its hinge
3. toilet buttons (to flush) not working properly
4. the curtains do not close properly in the middle
5. you have just changed the toothbrushes you offer to guests free - these new ones are AWFUL!! When you brush with them, the bristles come off into your mouth!
A few positive points.
Reception service is exceptional (the staff always remember my name and are quick, efficient and polite).
Breakfast is great quality. The service at breakfast is wonderful (notable people are the quick-order chef in the mornings)

New, modern, well equiped, great location and 5-stars services.

The food at restaurant was generally very good, specially the curry dishes.
However, I found that some items were not fresh (like cold meats, and other that are not eaten often were out again)

Nothing much to elaborate about it but it's a good hotel accommodation but it's not worthy of the charges they charge, the front desk girl was very rude behaviour, she needs to know that customer service is very important.

Everything is good about hotel and dinner.
But the swiming pool is small .. dont have a good capacity .. i set 2 days in hotel. And try to swim but no space..... just i set.......all familiyes and kids there.

Please try to find a solution for that....

One of the best 5 star hotels I have visited so far. Fantastic rooms with a kitchenette. Best view from the rooms.

The Spa is among the best in Qatar. Masseuse for Men available. Houses some very reputed award winning restaurants like Agora.

It is ok to stay for 2 or 3 nights. Don't ask for additional bed sheets. Not available!!

So.my stay was for 2 months in studio apartment. Me and my team members have same reviews about this hotel.
1. They will NOT provide you with anything. (Anything you ask , even though if it is urgent)
2. In my contract 2 days room cleaning was mentioned to which they told me they will provide 1 lt of water only, not they will give you extra shampoo, extra napkins, extra tissue or anything if you ask. Water restriction on 1 lt on day of cleaning.
3. Anything you ask the reception, they have no idea about it, they will double check with the Management team every single time and still comes with "NO".
4.Most heard phrase in this hotel was "We don't provide".
5. Cleanliness was also not up to mark-the towels i used in the room, i had virus infection all over my body. Still suffering from same virus infection, its been two months I am back from Doha.
6. Breakfast for Indians -very poor. Only 1 option available in Indian item, that is also tasteless.
7. staff are very rude. Cleaning boy was also rude.
8. You are not allowed to take fruits with you from breakfast section.
9. Initially they were giving Kitchen duster, after a month they said they dont provide duster.
To my other colleagues in same hotel they were still providing the duster
Every time they are lying about stuff.
10. Overall they have nothing good to stay and spend your money. I was in crowne plaza for 1 month. its very good, breakfast is awesome, facilities are awesome. stay there.

A quiet and privileged hotel with location, restaurant and services.
Superior handling. And especially Brother Rooney. Brother Hassan is the Alternate Manager. The suites are spacious and equipped.

I have seen improvement from my last visit.

What I would recommend was its lovely location and the service of some of the reception staff was fantastic but the price was high for the service

Really wonderful experience. Great staff , great service. Especially worth mentioning Mohamed at reception, Dil and Milon from house keeping and the Restaurant Supervisor at Forknife. Only reason have not rated a 10 is because the quality of buffet at Forknife can be improved . On occasions it lacked variety and taste. Will definitely return when visiting Doha again as MovenPick is an exceptional hotel

Excellent location. Great rooms. Delicious breakfast. Service with a smile.

Everything is good but definetely, you should improve the breakfast. Not only the content, but also the service speed. No one should wait 10 minutes for a tea. If you do not want to increase the number of waiters, then just put machines for hot water. This is my second stay and only problem is the breakfast.

I appreciate the welcoming ambiance from the customer desk.
The room that we stayed in was really great. A mini kitchen is a plus especially when you have small kids. It s easy to wash the baby bottles w/o using the bathroom sink.
The room was clean and smelling fresh. Good furniture and dust free. Great job cleaning and maintenance team.
Last but not the least they have well maintained pool. by the way, we didn't find the kids playing area was it removed from the 26th floor?

Beautiful hotel and great services especially from reception, concierge and security staff

Hotel located in the West Bay area, close to the Mall, Qatar Petrolem and Qatar Gas. Recent with large rooms with bathroom with bidet, excellent breakfast. On the ground floor restaurant with an excellent grilled lamb.
In the rooftop covered swimming pool which may seem strange but in summer it can be comfortable considering the external temp.

Great hotel, great location, great service. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel is in close proximity to a number of Doha landmarks, including as City Centre Mall, Katara Cultural Village, The Pearl, Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art and many more

Some bad smelling of cigarette in the room, business centre closed at 8 kn the evening and nobody in the morning

We have the best post Christmas staycation. We enjoyed our stay from upgrading our room, delicious buffet and extraordinary amenities. I love also the color motiff of the hotel which is violet.

overall, i had a fabulous stay --- it was my first stay here, i usually stay at the Movenpick Doha Old Town
reason for the score is there is the lacking of personal warmth by staff. they are very polite and eager to help BUT they lack the personal warmth factor --- no real interest in the guest.

For example, i mentioned at Check in that i was a first time visitor staying at this property instead of the one in Old Town, and i got a dull response. No eye contact, no inquiry about the journey, or anything like that. Just a quick check in with little interaction and off to the next guest.

This may be well and good but in the service industry, personal attention is the new "Sell Factor" --- being asked about the journey, if the transfer to the hotel was good, basically just taking an overall interest in the guest, that would've gone a long way.

However, the stay in itself was great. Fantastic room with a fabulous view, great shower with fabulous water pressure -- works miracles for the body after a 13-hour flight!!! --- the breakfast was included, and that was great with lots of choices. The pool was fantastic -- everything was exceptional and will definitely be back again in April 2019.

Special mention for providing EXCELLENT service goes out to Shahin at your airport meet and greet service, and Nilum at the Fork & Knife Restaurant for being hospitable and inquiring and even going as far as replacing my cool coffee with a piping hot cup and saying it was freshly brewed and hot! Now, THAT'S service! Thank you so much to these 2 people! i will be back inshallah in April.

Reception staff are extremely nice and helpful , I had late flight and they offered me late check out at no charge. Pool is amazing but they asked me for money to use the Jacuzzi!

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel which is centrally located in the city center where I was able to have less than 10 minutes walk to business parks, beach fronts, other hotels in the vicinity, and the award winning Al Jazeera TV network station. Good location, excellent restaurants and great price offer

Travelling with 2 small kids. We got adjoining rooms. Good locations quite close to most things. Mind you Doha is small and traffic good so most paces are convenient. Good pool, good price and good service.

Very nice hotel for the price booked during stopover with Qatar airways and through their stopover program. More four stars standards and amenities than five, but for the price still very, very nice! Pleasant staff and clean and comfortable room. But should really be advertised as four stars.

It was wonderful experience staying with Movenpick for weekend. Everything was so good. The room ambience was awesome. Fork & Knife restaurant is too good. I loved the Breakfast buffet setup. Food quality an service was excellent. The best part was the front office executive Mr. Mohammed who was able to explain us about the best deals and packages.. Excellent room with a beautiful sea view was given to us as requested. Room service crew was nice.
We would love to visit again.
