I am writing to leave a review about the great service I received from Alexandra Bastow and Abdul Raheem. I was assigned to Alexandra at the start of my case and she was extremely good at communicating things to me and made the time to update me on progress. My case was then transferred to Abdul and although he was quite busy at times, every time we spoke on the phone or had email communication he was very good at trying to support me, in turn he did extremely well in finalising my case and overall I am very happy with the services I received. I would recommend the company and would use again if needed. Paul J

From the beginning of my involvement with Minster ...

From the beginning of my involvement with Minster Law there was a fairly regular turnover of claims handlers dealing with me. It was a little disconcerting to deal with so many different names. That said, once Sue Wood took control I was much happier with the procedure and progress of my case. Although the whole case took a long time - most of the delay was not the fault of Minster Law. Sue was extremely professional, clear, and exercised great understanding of my situation. She kept me up to date when she needed to. I felt she listened carefully to everything I had to say and most important of all she was able to de-tangle all the legalaise into language that a layman like me could understand. She was honest and realistic and didn't promise anything she thought couldn't be achieved. I believe Minster Law is a very large company with many solicitors for whom I couldn't speak but from my own personal case I could recommend Sue Wood with the utmost confidence.

Back in August of this year, I was waiting to turn...

Back in August of this year, I was waiting to turn right off the A52 when someone ran up the back of my Vauxhall Corsa, turns out my car was a total loss and thankfully I had GAP insurance but this did not cover the incidental costs.
My insurance company put me on to Minster Law who not only managed to secure the reimbursement of my cherished plate transfer but also managed to get me compensated for having a new tow bar fitted as I couldn't afford it and need one for use with my pet sheep!
From the outset my case was handled by Lauren Ward who kept me informed every step of the way and was extremely diligent on my behalf.
Thank you very much Lauren and Minster Law, I am delighted with this unexpected outcome!

I had a RTA & Minster Law & more specifically Anita Fawcett dealt with the compensation claim from the other parties insurer. It wasn't a massive claim but Anita was helpful throughout & kept me fully informed. I was quite touched at her absolute determination to see this through to the (successful) end.

Also in her belief in me as being honest was most helpful. I could not have wished for a better set of people caring for me in what was a somewhat difficult situation where the other parties fully questioned my integrity. Thank you Minster & more especially Anita for concluding this matter on my behalf.

I can only give 5 stars but i would give more if I could. Thank you Anita your professionalism & knowledge was fully appreciated - Paul W Trolley

I found this law firm to be simple and I did minimal work to gain my claim. Simon Boyle did an excellent job of handling all relevant paperwork and keeping me updated. I received a payment higher than expected. Once finalised, it went through smoothly and faster than the time Simon had quoted. Simon was very friendly and kept me updated throughout. Reliable and friendly firm.

Absolutely first class service. Jonathan Bamforth...

Absolutely first class service. Jonathan Bamforth has been nothing short of a blessing. My case (serious RTA - including broken back, broken neck, punctured lungs, coma, feeding tubes etc) took several years to complete. This was by no means due to any fault on the part of Minster Law - my case was quite involved, and i had multple medical experts to see, on both sides of the legal case - monthly!

The first offer i was given from the third party insurer was ridiculously low, and if Minster Law had not of stated that, then i most certainly would have. The second and finally third offer were also very low, and would not have covered my immediate medical costs, let alone future costs.

Needless to say, it went though several years and multiple meetings and court dates, until it was finally resolved. Right up to High Court i believe. The resolution on the case came, and the sense of relief was astounding. All of the support i had received from Minster Law - in particular Jonathan Bamforth and Samantha MacCarthy and Tracy Clarke (to name those directly involved and in constant contact with me) - was thorough, professional, effecient and polite throughout.

I am now living my life in the way that i have always wanted, and this has only been made possible through the long, hard work - including receiving emails and frantic texts from me at 0:00hrs etc - of all of the team involved in my case from start to finish.

Please note, that the length of time involved in a case can be anything from weeks to years - as in my case. There are two opposing sides in a legal case, and one of those sides is totally not on your side. But i have received, and continue to receive, all of the support and advice that i need, and cannot recommend this organistion enough.

A mixed experience overall. The individual dealing with my claim, Clare Lenaghan was a rude and antagonistic "lady" who rarely ever answered the phone. Luckily on a few occasions I spoke to members of her team who were polite and professional, especially an individual called Joni who brought my claim to a swift conclusion. I would not recommend Clare to anyone, unless you enjoy being berated or ignored.

No amount of words can describe our sincere appreciation to Minster Law Philip Watson and Hayley Fairhurst was simply outstanding.

My son had an accident and has Autism and Asperger Syndrome Philip and Hayley went above and beyond the call of duty to assist my son they proved to be sympathetic and understanding, without their assistance I truly believe my son would have lost his case for this we will be eternally grateful.

I believe the resolution in this case was simply down to Philip and Hayley s hard work and diligence, and would like most of all to thank them for their patience and understanding when dealing with our difficult and delicate personal circumstances it has been truly appreciated.

This was an interesting visit. Met a black girl outside who looked lost. She was going for an interview there. So I ended up walking her there and in to reception. I asked them if they knew where I was looking for. The receptionist was rude to me so I wished the girl I helped a good interview. I hope she got the job.

Found this company very efficient dealt with lady called Anita from start to finish which was both nice and easy as not having to discuss with various staff members things a little slow at times but that being third party not responding

This company were assigned to us by our insurance company for an accident May 2017
They have been terrible up to now passing us from pillar to post... they were told in Aug 2017 that I needed a procedure to my shoulder... they sent me to 2 more consultants who said the same... still didn't refer me
I need a procedure but they said couldn't refer me due to cost.. other insurance company might not pay the costs... BOLLOX
I went in NHS and am now sorted but still awaiting a return of several emails from Sept and October
My husband's last report in Dec 2017 said he needed to be referred to someone else... he's still waiting to hear from them about this appointment over 11mths later

Accident July 2018, still unresolved. The car was fixed ages ago, the physiotherapy finished ages ago, but the Personal Injury Payment is still unresolved. When you make an online enquiry, you NEVER get a reply, or even an acknowledgement and I have never been able to get through on the phone. I've even had a letter from the other party's insurers to say that they want to settle and close the case, but Minster Law simply aren't responding. No surprise there I'm afraid, as I can't get a reply either :-(

"Solicitor" took details down wrong and started case with wrong info. Was transferred between 3 solicitors each time i had to start from scratch. Unprofessional. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. I ended up sacking the "solicitor" that was provided to me through this mickey-mouse firm, representing myself and winning a 5 figure sum when Minster Law couldnt even fill out a form correctly. Very worrying!

She took over my case and had it sorted in about two weeks, communication was good and emails were acknowledged and answered promptly.

im calling them to make complaints for my wife, my mother and mother in law all hurt in a RTA and minster law acting for them ??? one asked a question in Feb no answer, my wife has been trying to ring for over a week but can never get through.
im going to contact their regulatory body. any one know who it is ? is it law society ?

I had a motorbike accident 2012, 2 and a half year...

I had a motorbike accident 2012, 2 and a half years later my claim got settled out of court.
I had about 4/5 different case handlers during this time and each time a new person was assigned to the case I felt very deflated as I had to go over most of the tasks again with them.
That was until I was assigned the last officer. He was handed the case in early 2016 and he managed to get the case settled within a few weeks.
If it was not for him then I would be giving this form an even lower feedback score.

This firm was suggested to me through my insurance group and thought that it would be settled much quicker than this has taken.

If I was offered to use their services again I would most probably use someone else.

I m getting more and more frustrated with this company by the day!!!!
Trying to get contact with them is pretty much impossible. I m trying to get updates and ask queries regarding mine and my daughters cases and after trying to get hold of them for nearly 6 weeks after numberous phone calls, emails and messages though online case I have still had no luck! Everything is ridiculously slow and handles very poorly.
I don t know where to turn next and don t know where I stand.
I would definitely not recommend this company to handle any case.

At first as, my case was very slowly plodding along and I was not exactly thrilled with the service and lack of updates in all honesty. That is until Alison took over conduct of my case which completely changed my perception. She was thoroughly professional, very efficient and as a result the case concluded with a settlement I was very pleased with. As it stands, I would not recommend Minster Law to anyone.

I was involved in an accident on 12th July 2016 where I and two of my passengers were injured. Minster Law took the case on but months later informed me they couldn't act for my passengers as the process was they claim off me, and I pass this onto the other party. This should have been realised straight away and delayed the passengers simple claim by months.

I work in a profession where I know how to build a case and present evidence so provided ML with all of the evidence they needed. This included local council CCTV which without my efforts, ML would have failed to secure in time.

Today is 1st August 2017 and I've heard nothing for 7 weeks. 7 weeks ago was when as usual I had to call ML for an update as they seem completely inept at being able to call customers and provide updates.

Today I called ML and the call taker spent 9 minutes trying to get someone from the right department to answer. No luck. I've been promised a call back in 48 hours.

I am very unhappy with the service I've received and regardless of what the outcome may be, I would tell people to avoid Minster Law.

Well it appears Minster Law is not working towards rectifying any of its customer s complaints.
Like others I was automatically referred to them through my insurer (Bennetts) and naturally thought I would be receiving a competent service.
It has been 7 months and so far Minster Law has failed to locate the other parties insurer. Pure laziness on their part as I have provided them the insurers details twice and with in four weeks of the accident RSA insurer had CAT D the bike, agreed to pay in full and then with in another four weeks paid!
Mister Law are certainly not a proactive firm, they're not interested in expediting cases by making enquires on your behalf and will happily let months go by until you find the time to do all the donkey work on their behalf.

It's been over a year since we had an horrific cra...

It's been over a year since we had an horrific crash with a 40 tonne lorry and 3 other vehicles, you have made the process more painful and difficult for our entire family. Never have we been treated so badly and with so little care for our situation. After 8 months or so of getting absolutely nowhere with you, no response to our letters or phone calls and no closer to closing the case, we finally decided to take our case somewhere else. 3 months later you still won't release our paperwork despite us filling in all your forms and writing and calling you on many occasions. Our solicitors have even written to you and you ignore them too. We've lost count of the number of times you say you'll call us back and don't, not to mention how many times you tell us your staff are at lunch. Yesterday you told us you haven't received a request to release the paperwork, however a month ago you told us you had! Terrible and disgusting way to treat people that are already feeling the pain of a traumatic road crash.

After a car accident which was not my fault, the car insurance company appointed Minster Law to deal with it. They have been brilliant. I had some fairly complex injuries but they helped with rehab and advice etc during a long recovery and ultimately with compensation. Craig has been great but everybody in the office has always been polite and helpful. Thanks

absolute disgrace of a company. had an accident 30 April this year. Minster Law were very helpful when they first contacted us through my insurance company but then nothing. They never reply to phone calls, when they do answer they tell you we will send the paperwork out and get in touch yet never do and all the while every time I ring to complain low and behold somebody else is now dealing with the claim. 9 months on and nothing. Stay away from this company. terrible service.

After 4 long years of dealing with Minister Law an...

After 4 long years of dealing with Minister Law and going through 6 different case handlers, I can t really say that it was a 5 star service. It was stressful, tiring and incredibly frustrating to deal with from the age of 18 to 22 having had to also deal with the trauma of cutting the tip of my right finger off. However since Jan 2019 Matthew Itson has been extremely determined in making this experience better for me. He was professional and actually cares and can empathise with me as a client. This is the only reason this is no longer a one star rating. To anyone thinking of going through Minister Law, ask for Matthew and things should go smoothly.

If you want to be dealt with honestly, fairly and you or your family member's welfare put at the heart of any decision, Minster Law is the company for you. David Sears dealt with the claim regarding my brother's horrendous motorcycle accident. My brother has life changing injuries. I had to help, on his behalf, to manage his compensation claim. David Sears was a complete star. My brother received a higher than expected compensation pay out which was totally down to David's tenacity and determination to get the best for my brother. I have never ever felt the need to recommend a company before. I cannot reccommend Minster Law high enough.

After a bad car accident Minster Law contacted me - the first lady dealing with my case was very impersonal. The second lady dealing with my case was a nightmare as I could never get hold of her and she was never available to speak to on the phone especially (to a layman) legal jargon is very frightening.I couldn't believe my luck when my case was passed to Julie Wadsworth who was brilliant, was always available to speak to, very kind and understanding and got a good result in the end. My husband had an accident last Nov. As his car wa...

My husband had an accident last Nov. As his car was a lease car and even though he didnt have the car as it was written off, we still had to pay the monthly fees for it until liability admitted, meanwhile we had to get him another car which cost more money. Then my husband lost his job and was laid off.
Initially they were interested in the case and then all went quiet hearing nothing from them. My husband has now been out of work for the last 6 months and this compensation claim will prevent us in having to sell our house, giving him longer to find work. I have been on the phone this morning (22/8/16) and been trying to phone the company. I first tried at 8.15 and let the phone ring for 25 mins I then phoned again at 8.42 am and let the phone ring for another 15 mins. No reply! So even though office hours are stated from 8am there was no one in that 40 mins I hung on the phone to take my call? ?? Wow!
We have sent countless emails, phone calls etc and the handler is either day off or on annual leave or passed to a different handler who then tells us she is busy!!!! I'm finding truth in what they tell us hard to swallow.
How is it fair when you have been hit and hurt In an accident that was not your fault and you have been at a financial loss because of it, that a company is allowed to mess you around for so long????
I am disgusted with their service so far and will be looking to take this further. I have been logging and recording all correspondence made to them with the lack of responses! Feel so let down.

Absolutely useless. I had an accident early Octobe...

Absolutely useless. I had an accident early October 2013 and was put in touch with Minster Law because of some back injuries - I made it clear I just wanted to recover the costs from physio and wasnt after a big payout.

Fastforward 8 months and I'm no further on with the claim. I'm hundreds of pounds out of pocket from physio costs theyve failed to claim, I've spent countless hours on hold to them trying to speak to someone, they've told me a number of times that theyre waiting for notes from my GP but when I spoke to the GP surgery they've told me that they've contacted Minster Law a number of times asking them to pay the invoice before they can send the notes over.

My understanding of this sort of service was that it wasnt supposed to be a huge effort on my part. The amount of time, stress and effort this has taken is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. From the other reviews I've seen on here I can see that I'm far from alone in my experience of this shambles of a company. I'm writing this after another day of sitting for 20 minutes waiting to be put through to someone and 8 months after I was promised a quick turnaround on my case. My claim was not complicated, the other driver took full responsibility and is aware of the injuries sustained, this should not be taking nearly as long as this.

Looking at their public image, they should really give some serious revision to how they handle their business in the future - I know I'll be telling everyone I know about the service I've recieved.

My husband was knocked of his moped 2012 and suffered a complex brain injury. He has had 3 case managers and the last two have been great. The first one was for minor injury cases and it was soon moved on when it turned out to be more than that. They have been very patient with my husband and have been very thorough. It has took a long time especially when the other party did not respond in a timely manner. It's about getting what you deserve and Lee Elmore and Andrew Sloan have been there fighting my husband's corner all the way. They never let us suffer financially and didn't give us any false promises. As I dealt with a lot of the claim on my husband's behalf they always kept me informed too. I hope never to have to use them again but if I had another injury they would be the first person I turned too.

My experience with Minster Law following a car crash was a very good one. Many thanks to Hayley Fairhurst who was excellent when handling my claim. She was efficient, prompt to respond or take necessary action and also gave very sound advice. The end result was a positive one and I would definitely recommend Minster Law.

Minster Law dealt with my claim through my insurer after an unfortunate incident which resulted in my car being written off. They were professional and helpful, updating me about the claim all the way through. Although it took around 10 months I am happy that this is over now. I can recommend them

After suffering some complex injuries from a motorcycle accident I was put in touch with Minster Law and Emma Wilson was the Specialist solicitor representing me in London. The case did indeed prove complex and I have to say Minster law did an excellent job of representing me and fighting my corner . Emma Wilson who specializes in complex claims particularly impressed me . She was tireless and thorough and guided me patiently throughout my case with great expertise. I really felt confident that that she was watching my back and protecting me and representing my best interests at all times . Consequently I felt really happy to take her advice where needed in the ultimately successful outcome of my claim. Shes a lovely calm person too. So is Steve High,great cheerful helpful person in the customer laison section

Terrible customer care- they were v keen to sign me up then communication stopped , emails and calls not returned and after a 30 min wait to speak with some one the call handler admitted no one had progressed my case since before Christmas . My case is straightforward with a no fault accident where other party admitted full responsibility and clear medical report .after 6 months with appalling customer service I can t recomend this company

I was involved in a car accident 0n feb 2014 and my insurance broker put me in touch with Minster Law. Minster Law were dealing with the case and I had a number of claim handlers, and I was getting no where. However Steven Thompson took the case over at the end of November 2015 and he has done more in 5 months then the previous claim handlers managed to do over 22 months. If anyone was thinking about using Minster Law I would highly recommend requesting Steven Thompson. I would recommend 10 stars for his hard work and commitment. Thankyou

Extra special thanks to Sue Wood who right from the outset was sympathetic, polite, and efficient and made me feel confident that I was in safe hands throughout. Disinterested, unorganised, borderline incompetent...

Disinterested, unorganised, borderline incompetent. 2 years in and still waiting for a case to be resolved, despite regular promises that is is being dealt with, every time I follow up they say that they are just about to do it, or don't know why the next steps have not been taken. Awful communication and customer care/service 0/10 would not recommend.

Updated. Prior to the owners response below, I had spent much of the day chasing them again, only to find out that one of the cases had been transferred to a different lawyer without notifying me, that the claim amounts had greatly reduced, again without me being informed and despite promises from team leader that I would be updated on the second case by the end of the day, this as ever failed to happen. The only course of action left is to lodge formal complaints with the SRA andOmbudsman. As a side note, when I asked who I could complain to, Minster Law advised that I should only email them, and not worry about taking it to anyone else as they would deal with it

Had a motorcycle accident and was referred to Minster Law, had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew Sloan who was nothing but professional and friendly, I never had to chase for an update or details and any time I did need to know something the information was provided.

I hope to never have another accident but if I do I will only want to deal with minster Law again.
