After a very slow service doubled with poor communication, emails and phone calls not returned. Things finally turned a corner when Mandy Johnson took up the case. She was very professional. Excellent customer service and communication. I can't praise her enough. Keeping me updated at every stage of the process and finally negotiating an acceptable compensation. Many thanks and highly recommended.

Total and utter bunch of incompetent idiots.

Total and utter bunch of incompetent idiots.

I have never encountered such an unprofessional company before. DO NOT USE THEM. They don't keep you updated, it is always somebody else's fault that something hasn't been done. One blokes excuse was he was on holiday, for 4 weeks! Didn't he have somebody covering his work load like a normal business?

After the original incompetent handler left, it was 3 months before somebody actually acknowledged that the file hadn't been picked up, but before that she actually wanted me to settle, even though I was no further forward in the recovery of my injuries!

Should be a minus number and they shouldn't be allowed to practice.

This organisation s customer service is absolutely atrocious. I would have given no stars if I could. My husband s case has been ongoing since 1st June 2018. Responsibility was accepted by the other person within days. Medical took place in July 2018. Communication doesn t take place unless he phones or messages Minster. He accepted first offer just to get this sorted. What s happened. Absolutely nothing. We didn t have the option to choose the organisation who should handle our case if you have DO NOT USE MINSTER LAW

I have been using Minster Law over the past 12 months in relation to an RTA I was involved in. I have found all the staff I have dealt with to be courteous and professional, in particular Leah Williams, who to my mind, has gone above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company and Leah Williams in particular.

If I had to write this review last year, I would have given this firm 5 stars. But since their management shake up, my experience has fallen dramatically due to appalling client service! When Minster Law first took on my injury case they started off well, my case was then moved to a different solicitor which both had and were doing a great job and were keeping me well informed with the progress of my case. It seems that since this management shake up my case, it has been appointed to yet another Solicitor... The unfortunate thing is that not only is he dismissive of anything that I say to him he just doesn't seem to care, basically, he has a "that's all you're going to get, deal with it" Attitude, where as his predecessors where so much more client dedicated and were willing to go the extra mile! Really do your research before letting this firm touch your case!

I was knocked off my motorcycle in the middle of Bristol just over three years ago and Minster Law handled my claim.
It has been a long drawn out affair and I've had several different Minster Law solicitors handling my case along the way.
The turning point in my mind was when Ceridwen Daly took over my case and really fought on my behalf against the other party's solicitors, giving me confidence and resulting in a satisfactory outcome.
5 Stars for Ceridwen, 3 Stars before Ceridwen, hence 4 Stars.
Yes I would recommend Minster Law, but be patient, don't expect quick results. In the end it was worth the wait.

The incompetence and maladministration of so-calle...

The incompetence and maladministration of so-called law firm Minster Law (Monster Law would be more apt) is staggeringly atrocious. The other reviews affirming this conclusion reflect a family member and I's experience (I am of no relation to Ian Richardson) in having the misfortune of receiving their customer "service". One would assume that solicitors would represent and fight for the interests of their clients; on the contrary, those employed by this organisation are seemingly instructed to use all cheap and dirty self-serving tricks at their disposal to make a quick buck regardless of how much this, in plain English, screws you over.

An example of this is my family member being pressurised to break the criminal law by contradicting a sworn police statement, in order to accept 50/50 liability regarding the road traffic accident we were involved in! Again, one would expect solicitors to understand such simple legal concepts, but Minster's Law's seem to struggle with logical concepts of any sort; this seems to be the case based upon the tedious labour (and financial expense) burdened on the client, due to the firm's sheer ineptness in matters of paperwork and information, most often being a fruitless effort to correct their mistakes. I am open-minded as to whether this is because of the aforementioned dirty tricks or ineptitude, both of which we have been affected by for the past three years.

My relative provided medical evidence about their injuries, but this was seemingly ignored or simply not incorporated into the case detail as it should have been, even though this included a medical report organised by Minster Law themselves. A psychological assessment was promised, but this promise was retracted for no discernible reason other than as a cost-saving exercise.

My case was passed onto a different law firm, but it has been effected by the total mismanagement of information and lack of communication or efforts in litigation that has also essentially ruined my relative's case. I am entirely unphased that Monster Law has already been fined for malpractice by the Legal Ombudsman. For the social good it should be closed down. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

UPDATE: Minster Law have dropped my family member's claim, accusing them of not supplying information that was provided on multiple occasions and essentially taking sides with the defendant. No attempt to actually litigate on their behalf. Three years pointlessly wasted on this stupidity, and all because the client refused to break the criminal law after this "solicitor" devoted themselves to working against the client. Disgraceful and appalling.

After finishing up in hospital, due to non fault motorcycle accident, my claim was dealt with efficiently and as quickly as possible. Staff at all times were friendly and polite, helping me to understand the process and easily explaining the parts which I had difficulty understanding. Really glad to have them onside. Special thanks go to Mr. Watson and not forgetting Ms.A Slack.

I am very satisfied with the result of my motorbike accident claim, which Minster Law was taking care of for me. The entire process took a while to settle as the case wasn t easy. I ve exchanged quite a few emails and discussed my situation over the phone numerous times, always receiving a super professional service with prompt responses to all my queries. Minster Law has prepared my case very well and did a great job selecting and briefing a fantastic Barrister to represent me in court Mr. Robin Somerville. The outcome - 100% win with a very decent compensation. Thank you.

Whilst filtering on my GSXR-750 the third party tu...

Whilst filtering on my GSXR-750 the third party turned into my path resulting in a bike write-off and dislocated shoulder. Unfortunately it seems many insurance companies now refuse to accept liability regardless of circumstance and without legal cover I was left in limbo (with a smashed up bike and shoulder). Against my initial reservations, Minster were able to pursue an injury claim in order to obtain some level of compensation and after 2 years the third party insurer settled on a satisfactory payment which at least covered the cost of a replacement bike (the written off bike, then uninsured, had subsequently been stolen!). Minster were there when my insurer could no longer help and I would have unjustly received nothing because the third party insurer was not interested in justice and fairness (thank god I didn't end up paralysed!). In future I will always include legal cover on my policy and would not hesitate to contact Minster where, and only where, an injury claim is justified. Although my claim handler changed a few times during the period my last handler, Rachel Sellers, was very effective and I was confident we had reached the best possible settlement. Thank you Rachel and Minster Law.

I was not sure at first if Minister Law were going...

I was not sure at first if Minister Law were going to really look after me as the customer and fight my case fairly for me. I was proved wrong and surprised at how professional Minster Law handled my case, they made the right move to take the third party to court and they won the case for me. Minster Law had to deal with an awful third party insurance company, they played silly games like not giving information requested and dragged the case out for over a year and a half. Sarah J Moore realised that they were not being fair and she dealt with them in a very professional manor. Sarah J Moore dealt with my case in a very high professional manor, when dealing with difficult people from the third party insurance company and I am very grateful for this. I certainly built a trust with Minister Law throughout my case and this was very important to me, because of this I would recommend Sarah J Moore to take on a case for anyone in the future. Absolute shambles, my file has been passed around the office like a dose of the flu, geyting no further, no one appears to know ehat they are meant to be doing, all i get is i will look into this and get back to you, no one gets back to you, they have had had my interim payment for 10 days, still not in my account as no one knows who is doing anything, nit sure if possible to change solicitors in the middle of a case, so angry at this

I had a very traumatic head on car crash on the 7th November 2018.
The team from Minster Law were so very understanding of the trauma I had suffered. Ashleigh Ryder guided me through the early stages gently and kindly and importantly without adding to the stress of this new situation in any way.
On reflection I realise that we progressed through the claim steadily and gently until today we reached a final settlement from the other persons insurers.
There are times when you are in a position like this when truly the money is not important at all but with experience Ashleigh Ryder helped me reach the end of the legal matters with ease.
Companies such as Minster Law often have a bad press, they shouldn't!

I haven't even given this firm a rating, The service if you can call it that is disgusting. I have had four different file handlers dealing with a simple case for well over a year. They never inform you of what is going on, they send letters to the wrong places and their attitude is "well I've only just taken on the case its my predecessors fault". Never ever use this firm. Disgusted.

Awful experience. Minster law is full of underpaid and overworked idiots. They will contradicte themselvs to try and make you belove what is best for them is best for you. Only a small part of my experience is listed below as I do not have a spare week to cover all the points I was u happy with!

Kirsty Pennock and her team of inexperienced solicitors, (team leader and barrister all in on the plot) attempted to bully me into accepting a settlement outside of court, just one week prior to the hearing, despite actually going on to win my case!!

Be careful as these crooks only advise you what is best for them and not for the client.. my experience is a prime example of that!
Minster law also like to drag things out much longer than they really need, my case was going on 26 months and it was a black and white case. Should have been wrapped up in 6 months!

Do not use this company unless you enjoy unesercery SRESS because I can guarantee that is how you will feel after dealing with these cretins.

Do not waste your time, you have been warned!!!

Circumstances clearly vary, and so do people s expectations, which should explain the difference in opinions expressed here. Nevertheless my experience with Mister Law through Emily Mayes, as the Litigation Executive, was completely positive, professional and of a high standard. Following a car accident, I received plenty of supporting information detailing the schedule of actions, with the offer of help should any clarifications be needed, regular updates and Emily was reachable every time I tried to call her. I had no difficulties in getting physiotherapy arranged on my behalf and the claim was fully settled within a reasonable time frame. Honestly, this is the worst customer service exper...

Honestly, this is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Minster Law have agreed a time and date to call me six times and failed each time to call. Several times they have agreed to copy me into emails and then failed to do so. Constant apologies for making mistakes, and then doing nothing rectify. I was promised a call back within two days, and three and a half weeks later it still hasn't come.

Truly the worst service I've ever had as a customer.

Would have given less stars if possible. I had developed a life-long illness as a result of a car accident. The experience worsened by the appalling service from Minster Law. First I had Mahee assist me by contacting me once every 4-6 months, unaware of any facts about my case, guessing at all the details. After a year I was so sick of the unhelpful contact I asked about closing the case, she told me various options open to me but would not put anything in writing. When I tried to pursue the options laid out she told me that in fact I could not settle and most info she gave me was actually completely wrong she realised after checking with senior staff (I assume she was a trainee) Absolutely ridiculous for such a case. This happened twice or more during nearly 2 years!
I was then contacted by Andrew who immediately got on with the case by telling me the pile of evidence supporting my claim was worthless and criticized every answer I gave and every detail of my case. I found myself wondering why he was calling me to tell me to criticise my case, what help is that to anyone?? I had a diagnosis from 3 doctors, the other side didn't even question any aspect but Andrew decided to interrogate me about them on every call, where he had no reason whatsoever to disbelieve me!!!!! And in fact I found his manner extremely unprofessional and callous.

On one call he even said to me that i'm lucky, at least I dont have an arm cut off from the accident! Which I found terribly unkind, and completely ignorant of how the illness would actually effect me for the rest of my life and didn't need to compare it to anyone else's disability!

No reassurance, support or helpful advice at such an upsetting time. I found it a very stressful time and then to have such comments made me think no amount of money in the world is worth putting up with this, when an offer came along I couldnt wait to close the case just so I could stop speaking to Andrew and get on with my life.

Would highly recommend this company to anyone! We have dealt with Craig Croft-Raynor on our case which has taken well over 18 month to settle due to its complexity. Craig has been absolutely fantastic and has kept in touch with us on a very regular basis, both by email and telephone, over the time of the claim. He is a very professional individual and even took the time to visit us at home which was a 3 and a half hour drive for him to discuss the offer made by the other party. And another bad review, my case has just been closed ( August ) but like every one else my claim was passed around, I believe that I could have got the damages myself from the third party with out taking a year to collect.
It's been 3 months since my settlement and 3 months down the line I get a letter telling me my claim as been settled and the funds would be in my bank within 7 days, I had to tell them that I had already been paid quoting dates and amounts.

i had a car accident 2 years ago and this had resulted in two years of pain and stress. After failing to do their job. They sent me a lett...

After failing to do their job. They sent me a letter 5 days after the court date ended saying I need to find another representive hopine to dump all fees on me. A 2700 offer was given early on and i Asked for more treatment and then my claim went down to 2500. Thankfully the new paid secitor jumped in quick enough and I was offered 25,000. I am very tempted to take them to court now.

I got in touch like you asked and I haven't had a reply.

I knew this company was dodgy after signing up when I gave you my "new phone number" to then have other companies phoning with my details asking about my crash.

National accident help line didn't have this so it was very clear YOUR COMPANY SOLD my details to 3rd parties.

Il give it another week for a reply. I believe legal action will only be the way to get a resolution.

I was involved in a RTA in September 2016 Minster Law contacted me the person looking after my case was Anita. I must say over the length on time it has taken to bring this matter to a close Anita has handled it in a very good professional manner. We have had ups and downs on the way due to the other side dragging their feet and the time scale I had to wait to see the consultant, frustration on my behalf. We are now in the process of awaiting the funds coming through. I would like to thank Anita for " Looking after me" I have laughed and cried to her on the telephone. A very nice and very patient lady.

Wish I looked at reviews,awful communication as in severe lack of,average waiting time to ring 50 minuets holding time(try ringing them) they actually tell you.
Just been for a appointment and it was cancelled by them and failed to tell me.Two and half hours round trip and half a day off work for nothing.Please avoid.
