Limited tap beer selection. The food was excellent! Great service too. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant!

My family went to eat there tonight. I have 3 girls who are not at all picky eaters 2 of them gotnkraft macaroni and cheese both took a few bites and couldn t finish. My 3 year old said it s nasty! My 9 year old said it tastes like it was warmed up in the microwave! She wasn t wrong that s exactly what it tasted like. My burro supreme... the taco meat definitely reheated in the microwave! GROSS!! My third daughter had a burger as did my husband my daughter said hers had a funny taste. It did it tasted like stale cooking spray. My husband ordered a medium well done burger. It was burnt!! He also said it tasted like cooking spray, his I couldn t taste! I had, had enough. Nothing there that I could see was made fresh. Even the pico was stored for a while, it was not good!! I will never return just on the food alone. But in addition I m positive that the floor under our table hadn t been cleaned in some time there were many old menus, crayons and a wet sticky substance that I can only imagine used to be soda. When I let the waitress know that none of us enjoyed our meals she apologized but our bill reflected no apologies. We were charged full price when none of us are more than a few bites. I will give them that the fries and cheese curds were good but that was it.

We stop here every time we are in the area. Never had a bad service or food. Great concept and better staff.....

Fun atmosphere, good drinks, good food and great service for an early evening weekday visit!

Our pizza was perfect. We had a Deluxe consisting of Italian sausage, Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Ripe olives and fresh mushrooms. It was my birthday and I was treated to a Bloody Mary with olives and as crispy pickle spear with a beer chaser plus a fantastic individual bundt cake. Our son's birthday is today and he also received an individual bundt cake. We are always well pleased with our choice of menu items and return again and again. Lunch was excellent as usual!!

Food was great and came out quickly after ordering. Staff was friendly. My girlfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich and said it was the best she has ever had. Overall, great experience and will be visiting again

Our new favourite spot! The food,service and atmosphere are fantastic. It really feels like you could be in a mine. There are tons of little details that really makes it special. It's also nice and quiet so talking is easy. The burgers were above and beyond our expectations. Their steak leaves a bit to be desired,but they knock their burgers out of the park. So fresh and juicy and they taste like they just came off a real charcoal grill. Lots of fresh ingredients and the servings are huge.

Best Italian fries around! Spooky, dark atmosphere. Good craft beer. Worth the trip.

First off, do not get cheese curds here. They tasted like pieces of mozzarella stick. After an intro like that, I wasn't expecting much, but luckily the lunches turned out to be somewhat better quality. Drinks and food are both reasonably priced. Overall not bad, but I'd look elsewhere next time if I'm up this way again.

Owners are great people....but...the Italian Fries w/ Cheese is the only thing I'll order. Visited several times, food isn't the best. Steak Sandwich consisted of fatty chunks or brindled meat covered with onions...couldn't eat it.... Fish Fry is too greasy for my gut to handle :-(

The staff and the food are great. It may be a mine but you won't need to dig deep for these prices. Lots of items on the menu all at pretty good prices.

No paper towels or toilet paper on rolls in bathroom. I had informed the waitresses of this at the beginning of our visit and nothing was done about the situation by the time we left after dinner. Prices were high for what we received as our dinner and no ketchup in our bottle. Waiter was good, but we waited about 10 minutes for a hostess to acknowledge we were there.. even though two were standing right at the register. Very young and inexperienced staff.

Worst experience ever. Just walked out after sitting at a table for 15 minutes with no service when sign says "please seat yourself." Girl bartender was too busy flirting with old guys 6 beers deep at the bar to notice me. Atmosphere ruined by parents drinking at 4 pm letting their kid run wild around restaraunt. By far the biggest joke I've ever tried eating at!

Fantastic restaurant! The game room upstairs is very cool. Definitely need to come earlier next time so that we have enough time to play all the games before they close.

An awesome sight! Very cool to see. Food is a average. Had the Hot Beef sandwich. Tasted like the hot hamburger sandwiches at school. Cheese fries were LOADED with cheese, bland. Sweet potato fries and lemonade was DA BOMB!

Eh. Italian fries were good but cut very poorly. Pork sandwich was soggy and my husband couldnt even pick it up to eat it. Philly cheese steak was super greasy. It was basically a mediocre grease sandwich. Chips that came with the sandwiches were good tho! Wont give you a take out cup for kids drinks if they dont finish them. Asked for 3 boxes and only got one. To me it wasnt worth the price you pay.

This place is very cool aesthetically! The servers were pleasant and service was prompt. The food was fantastic, not to mention affordable. Kids meals were under $4...impressive! Definitely going back here again!

Great servers, but the restraunt is dark, the food fairly standard, but fairly priced. The wood tables are neat, too.

First, the service was terrible. Our waitress was bizarre, and our food took far longer than people who came after us, which leads me to believe that she screwed something up.

The theme is ok at first, it appearing like you're in a mine, but after a while the silence becomes noticable. I know music wouldn't fit the theme, but come on.

From now on, we'll get our Italian fries to go and skip the dining in experience.

I ordered a burger and fries my order was messed up Burger was under cooked a bit they gave me chips instead of the fries won't come again

Great stop while road tripping to green bay! Gotta try their signature cheese nuggets! Mmmm!

Not impressed. Only item made in house are the meat balls. All other meat is frozen or "sourced". The chips on the side if a sandwich are out of a bag. I asked for a substitute. The waitress flat out said it isn't worth it. Everything else is extra and not fresh.
I Won't be back or recommend. Common people, do better.

Waitress never came back to table to refill pop, check food quality, or even to bring the bill. After we waited 20 minutes we went to hostess to request the bill, she wasn t interested in the our poor service. We requested to talk to someone, but no manager on duty (it was supper time). We will not return.

Super fun restaurant, and very different than your average bar. Even on a busy night they had friendly and quick service. You definitely feel like you're in an old mine between the rocky walls and ceilings and dark lighting. Food was fantastic and theres no shortage of options on the menu. Great bar options as well

The restaurant is awesome! The decor is amazing! Not a detail went missed. Very good food with very good prices! And our service was excellent! The whole family loved it and we can't wait to go back!

I get a kick out of the people who have been there once and something wasn't perfect. One complained about reservations. They don't take 'em! Easy enough. The party room - requires reservations.
There's a reason this place has a great reputation. Just take a look at the parking lot~~~~
They have some choices I don't care for. But it's ridiculous to make it sound like the whole place is terrible.
If you love pizza fries, get them here. They're amazing reheated the next day. Friday night fish fry- who would have thought an Italian restaurant would be so good at fried fish.
My one complaint... seats are way too hard by the end of the meal (5 lbs later) :-)

Wonderful! Ordered 30 pounds of the shredded chicken for a graduation party this weekend and it was fabulous! Everyone loved it. Chef Chet was great to work with. I highly recommend and will definitely order again! Thank you Chef Chet and Wausau Mine Co!

Fun pizza place and more. They have a nice dining room for all. Plus a bar area that is so comfortable
