We were very happy to call this our honeymoon destination. Very close to so many things. We watched musicians and dancers right from out room. The staff were incredible and every thing was easy to access.

I missed my flight & needed a place to crash for the night. This was the least expensive hotel in the area with a vacancy, and I was upgraded on arrival. What a gem this place is. The service is next to none. The staff are so personable it felt like it was "where everyone knows your name." They will give you the world, all you need to do is ask. The rooms are clean and immense with anything you need at your finger tips in the heart of the city. You can hear the beautiful canter of downtown as it luls you to sleep. Professional is an understatement. I wish this place was my second home. I plan to come back and hopefully with someone to share the experience. 11 out of 10 without hesitation. I wish I had enough time to check out breakfast because I'd probably never leave. You really have to see this place. Incredible. Just Incredible.

Awful.

Awful.

Front desk staff rude, hotel hallways dated and musty. Room is quite dated and in desperate need of an update.
Charge $369 for a room, plus a $25 "resort fee", which is a joke. Apparently that covers my coffee and lemonade available in the lobby.

Highly recommend to stay anywhere else than here.

Great place to stay. Loved the central location. If you want to see Boston by walking this is the place to do it by. Great friendly staff. The best breakfast for our group every morning. Concierge was very helpful. Loved it.

This was my first time in Boston. Upon a very busy check in, the front desk ladies took their time to answer any questions each guest had and did not rush them even with a long line behind them. We asked about a very authentic Italian restaurant and the lovely front desk lady suggested a wonderful, little place and my boyfriend and I LOVED it! The room was fabulous! Loved the shower! EVERYTHING that would cost you more money is clearly marked. So all the complaints about those items is just pure rubbish. If you need a bigger fridge for leftovers they will gladly bring one to your room. Upon check out we had the valet watch our luggage so we could do a little more sight seeing before we left. The Valet was also very friendly and attentive. They noticed trash in my car and gladly removed it for us. The staff at this hotel is the true meaning of customer service and that is what I am all about when I open my pocket book. Each staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Yes, parking is pricey but you are within walking distance to EVERYthing.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel. It sits perfectly distanced from everything in downtown Boston to the North End and TD Garden. Our room 312 was a good size and had nice double windows overlooking Quincy Market and Hard Rock Cafe. The room was on the older and tired side for sure. For the price I have stayed at hotels that offered a "smart" tv with Netflix available on the room TV. The tv while a LCD had a very 90's style movie order and guide. There were zero USB ports in the room and very few regular outlets at that. Many hotels today have nightstands or lamps with USB capability so for the price, this was disappointing but not a deal breaker. We asked for a mini fridge at check in. 1 hour into being in the room we called and asked if there was a fridge being delivered and they told us they ran out. We were told to use the snack/drink bar fridge by taking everything out. We got charged for everything in the fridge ... a grand total closer to $300!! Upon check out the front desk did kindly take off these charges. *Just be careful*. The bathroom was also older with a large style tub with no jets etc. Aesthetically the tile and design of the bathroom is older. This room did have a nice "nook" next to the bathroom to spread your toiletries in and get ready for the day.

We valet the car. It was $51 versus $35-40 for self park garage nearby ... for us valet was just easier. Just keep in mind some rooms in this hotel are on the older and tired side. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful.

We ve come here a few times for weekend trips and decided it would be the perfect place to stay for our mini-moon. The staff are so considerate and friendly, the rooms are always perfect and they put us in one of the best to celebrate! Beautiful views! Super close to everything! And when it was open pre-covid the restaurant and bar are great too! Highly recommend!!

Close to downtown Boston and accessible to all the places nearby but for the rates being charged I was expecting better amenities, breakfast included, etc. but was not impressed. Be ready to pay close $50/day in taxes alone at this place.

Wifi is archaic. I don't really care about other luxuries, as long as the Wifi is supposed to do what it needs to do. It doesn't at the Bostonian. Dial up would be faster. I paid for the high speed internet, and that wasn't any better.

Mixed feelings on this. The hotel front desk staff was amazing. Our room had brown tub water and no regular coffee for a.m. but the room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. When I called down for regular coffee they said that they were out but we could go down to the b.c Restaurant and get some. They must have found some because they eventually brought up a packet. The valet parking on the way in was amazing but on the way out not so much. I contacted the hotel and they reimbursed me for parking but that didnt help with the experience or the brown tub water. LOVE the location but not sure we will stay here again.

Giving it a two star because it's a nice spot, nice hotel, but it's lame to pay extra for a Deluxe room with a city view and balcony but to end up with a 2nd floor room and 1x1 balcony that overlooks a parking garage.

Excellent hotel, great location in historic Boston. The Freedom trail passes in the next street and there are several points of it just a few steps away.
The holocaust monument is also next door.
TD Garden is just a few blocks away, otherwise you can walk to watch the Biston Celtics games.
As for the rooms are excellent, complete gym, very good restaurant.

Perfect location, literally right across the street from faneuil hall. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were large for Boston standards. Great view of the city and comfortable beds. The small balcony was a nice added touch. Definitely won't hesitate staying again.

Mid stay at this hotel and the service has been excellent. Check in was timely and efficient, bags were dropped to the room quickly, staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are well maintained daily with consumables replenished, and the on site restaurant has been great for breakfast. The WiFi feels expensive but may be consistent with other hotels in the area.

The Bostonian is my go-to when visiting Boston. I'm not a huge fan of Faneuil Hall, but the location is so close to South Station that it's perfect for me. The rooms, service, and amenities are always top notch, and I genuinely feel like I'm getting an absolute steal for the price. Can't recommend this place enough!
