The staff was extremely friendly. Very centrally located. Parking is always issue in Boston. Parked at Pi Alley. Great overnight rate. Less than 5 min from hotel. Food, shops, entertainment.... just cross the street!

Probably a bit overrated...the prefixed menu was decent with selection and the polenta fries were great but the salmon was just ok. Portion size was good but it just lacked anything special. I was looking for more but it underperformed. I'd still give it another try as the other entrees around me looked pretty good.

This is a very nice hotel, but beware the environment outside is very noisy. I wore earplugs but still couldn't sleep because of noise from traffic and people partying all night long. The hotel staff were apologetic but just chalked it up to, "well this is just a busy area." White noise sound machines in the rooms would help, but they didn't seem open to that suggestion.

Cool rooms, not great service but my guess is the place operates differently during covid. I couldn't get my fireplace lit by the staff and had to wrangle my own luggage which is pretty outrageous for a $350 room.

Great hotel in right across the street from Quincy Market and many other attractions are an easy walk nearby as well as T access. Service is top notch. I had a smokey room and was moved to another with no questions asked.

I booked this room through a discount travel site, so I can't really say much about the price. I do know that our check-in and check-out were quick and easy, the room was very comfortable, and the location is perfect.

It's right in the Quincy Market area, a short walk away from a T stop, and there's a Dunkin Donuts with free wifi two doors down the street. I would recommend it to any adults traveling without children.

Pretty good. But our room has two of the exact same photo in the room, for some reason?? But other than that, the rooms are quite nice. The beds have padding on the back walls, so it is comfortable to sit up and watch a show on the large TV. Note many of the things in the room need to be payed for, like a water bottle that is 6$ to open. If you're staying with small children, make sure they understand what to not touch. The hallways are also a little confusing, but fine once you know where to go.

Our room was very nice. I hung out in the bar most of the time. The bartenders were friendly and the food and drinks were great. there was some construction going on during our visit across the street but it didn't bother us too much we still had a nice view

This place worked great with our schedule. Very quiet room and very clean. The location is great. Hard Rock Cafe across the street, Market with tons of food options is next door. Dunkin donuts right next to it for morning breakfast. Haymarket is the closest subway at about 4-5 minute walk. Aquarium subway is the next closest and still a short walk at 8 minutes.

I stayed one night November 10th and the bed was awful. The hotel had a low occupancy rate but they still put me overlooking the loud construction site in back of the hotel. For me the keys to a room are nice bed, clean, dark, quiet and cold.

Location is simply optimal. Across the street from Quincy Market, and a literal stone's throw from the freedom trail. Inside, the place is charming and clean. The rooms are sizeable, and the beds are comfy. Have to give a shoutout to the showers, which are incredible.
Staff was as professional and friendly as could be. It was my first stay at the Bostonian, and they have earned my loyalty for sure. This will be my first choice everytime I'm in Boston.

The Bostonian Boston is in great location, right next to Fanueil Hall on the Freedom Trail and Quincy Market (which is full of shops and food). Compared to other hotels in this area, the price is fairly reasonable. The areas for improvement include towels and toiletries, towels seem a little older and are thin, body wash is a bit drying. That said, there's not much else to complain about! The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good and is open later than many places nearby (the city seems to shut down around 9pm). For our experience in particular, we needed to move rooms due to some maintenance on the A/C system which cost us a bit of time our first night. The maintenance tech was very nice though... The coupled with a lack of additional amenities (such as a poll) is what leads to the rating. Should we need to stay in Boston again, this hotel will remain at the top of my list.

The service is amazing the staff went above and beyond. The location is wonderful of course and the rooms are clean if not a little dated. The only thing I did not care for was the bed which while adequate was far from comfortable.

One of the best hotel properties we've stayed at in Boston. Killer views for the holidays and we felt right at home being an LGBTQ Friendly property. Balcony was small but for sure will return! This property has made me a Millennium Hotels fan.

Old tired hotel in a so-so location. Food is terrible. Rooms are run down and the walls are paper thin. Not to mention that they frequently oversell and will send you to another hotel. True story... Arrived at the hotel at 1am to learn that there were no rooms left despite having a reservation. Had to be shipped over the Park Plaza. Absolutely terrible. Whoever gives this place anything more than 2 stars is absolutely crazy.

Very nice and spacious rooms. My particular room was even bigger than it looked from the website's photos. Relatively minor things like a lack of a room refrigerator and gym keep it from being five stars.

We were there for a wedding banquet sampling, where the staff were very welcoming and sociable. The food was excellent and the wine pairings spot on! We look forward to returning for the event itself!

I'd love to give it five stars as the hotel itself and the staff are incredibly nice, but there are no open stairwells at all times. As someone who doesn't like taking elevators its kind of a bummer to endure anxiety Everytime you want to enter or leave your hotel room because they havent put a stairwell in that isn't a fire exit.

First the negative: Be advised that you have to park across the street at the Hard Rock Cafe s parking lot and pay $40 per night per each car. This is not typical of my experience staying in hotels in Boston.

The hotel is in a great location right by Quincy Market so it s a convenient hotel for tourists. It s very clean, modern, and feels comfortable and luxurious. If you re not bothered by the parking, it s probably the best value in the neighborhood. If you re more interested in convenience, other hotels in the Back Bay neighborhood are a bit more central to things for the same price with more convenient, cheaper parking.

Ok...beautiful hotel! Room with a fireplace and a balcony!...view was decent if standing on Juliette balcony big enough for maybe 3 ppl...however I'm sure they have rooms with better views (I checked in at 9pm on new years eve and they were at full occupancy, that's on me). My fireplace was lit 6 times throughout my stay. Each time the customer service was awesome. From Nick who checked me in, to George and Jimmy who kept my fireplace going the customer service is why I give a full 5 star rating. I will definitely be back for another visit!

The Bostonian is a very nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the center of everything and it is in easy access to the T which will take you almost anywhere in Boston. Our room was quiet when the balcony doors were closed, you could also leave them open to hear music from Faneuil Hall across the street, the bed was comfortable and it was well decorated. My only issues were as follows: that we had to have an additional fridge to house our food and beverages because the in room fridge was stocked with beverages and even of you just touched or nudged them you would get charged. The sliding door to the bathroom sometimes slid open with no warning, the toilet flushed so aggressively that you had to close the lid or you would get sprayed, and the water temperature of the shower fluctuated a lot.

The staff was very friendly and it was a great location. There was no refrigerator but there was one provided upon request. No access to a microwave at all or laundry facilities so that was a bummer. There is no Lounge but you could sit in the back of the restaurant when it wasn't busy which I did first thing in the morning. The lack of storage in the room was surprising but everything was comfortable if not a little crowded. I was huge and had plenty of room and storage spots.

Hidden fees left right and center. Don't stay here unless you're OK with not knowing the final cost of staying until they hit your credit card a week later. Just to be clear, I have no problem paying for what I used, but they never sent any kind of an invoice. Also the room was dusty, the door to the balcony was broken, and the bathroom could have used a little more attention to detail from the cleaning staff. For the price I expected a step up from a Holiday Inn, I was disappointed. Unless you're staying in the high end rooms, don't bother with this place. the location is the only thing this place has going for it.

I went to the Bostonian for a wedding. The bar was extremely limited, but the bartender made the best drink he could with what he had. The cold cocktail hour food was fine, but the hot appetizers were lacking flavor and cold. Much of the dinner food was also cold, although the lobster bisque had nice flavor. My dinner was steak, mashed sweet potatoes and spinach and I thought it was great. The servers and staff were all very nice and helpful.

This hotel offered everything I was looking for! My boyfriend and I spent a night here, and it was the perfect distance from all of the touristy areas, and was not too far from TD Garden! (about a 20 minute walk). I will say, the only thing that I would remind you to stay aware of is the extra fees! They charge a $25 fee per night for amenities whether you use them or not, they only offer valet parking for $51 a night, as well as a $100 fee upon check in which will be reimbursed 3-4 days after you check out (if you don t pay for anything in the minibar or snack cabinet in your room) Overall we were very impressed with our stay, and would definitely stay again!

This place is in the most amazing location. I have only been in Boston a day and have walked to so many awesome places. The hotel staff are friendly. You're also able to let them hold your bags if you get there early, and you're able to explore the city more freely. We also were able to get into our room early. The room is nice, but the view isn't so awesome, but that didn't matter that much because we could just walk outside and go anywhere and see anything we wanted to. I recommend this hotel fooooor suuuure

It's a very nice place to go a spend your leisure time or business and family time... I recommend this place for anyone who want's to visit Boston and want to get to anywhere in the Boston area without any big problems. Plus the uber's and Lyft's are pretty fast getting there. They know the hotel and are usually there in about ten or fifteen minutes. The bostonian hotel is major part of Boston so if you come to visit have a stay at the bostonian hotel.

Spent four days here while attending a conference in Boston. Extremely accommodating, gorgeous rooms with comfortable beds, room safes, mini bar and some rooms with fire places and Balconies. Room service we had one-day for breakfast and it was very good. If you see my pictures that I have posted, these are from our outdoor balcony looking over the market. Great views and great to relax with some wine and check out the Boston Skyline . Slightly on the more expensive side but not overly for the service, quality and central location brought to the table.
Parking is a bit ridiculous with fifty dollars a day to park your car. But as I know Manhattan is just as bad. If you re going to stay in a big city expect it. I give this Hotel 5 stars and plain on a return.

Beautiful rooms. But way to expensive. They put things in your fridge like snacks wine chips but dont explain everything must be paid for.for the price I paid for 1 night I at least expected complementary breakfast.i waited on ice for almost 30 mins. Then room service told me they forgot. Could of been better for the price.

Expected a lot better for the money!

Expected a lot better for the money!

This hotel was very pricey for what you get compared to previous hotels.

It was an ok room, but definitely geared towards business travellers.

Good...
- Handy location for Quincy Market and the North End.
- Comfy big bed
- Large TV with free films to stream.
- Big safe

The bad...

- Stingy on breakfast. Our room rate had $25 per day towards breakfast, but that was not enough to get breakfast for 2 (our previous hotel gave $48). Each day breakfast never arrived as per ordered via the card, e.g. no toast but still we got butter and jam...

- One day we came back to find the room door had been left ajar by the maid. The door jammed and was hard to close or open if snibbed.

- We had a late check out on the last day which was handy till 5pm, but the maid chapped the door at 4pm asking if we were leaving despite the DND sign. Then when we were ready to leave the maid was hovering at the door waiting to get in. Appreciate the may have to work later, but this is the hotels arangements.

The ugly...
- Yeah shame about the view of the car park and market trading traffic.
