Location to the commuter rail and Legacy place make this worth while

Nice hotel right next to Legacy Place. Clearly a bit dated decor, but this didn't bother us at all. Price was very reasonable, given the location. Room had mini-fridge and a large TV. On site Victory sports lounge looked fun. We were very happy and will definitely be returning.

Fine place to sleep attached to a fine place to drink.

Breakfast is bomb. The bathroom is a bit cramped but other than that, the experience is enjoyable. There are plenty of outlets. In order to turn on the lights, you have to walk through a dark room and turn on a lamp. There is no switch at the front of the room.

Never in my life have I experienced such little care for a customer as I did this evening. After being delayed for an hr. on a flight, I finally arrived at this hotel at 10 pm only to find out that the hotel was oversold, and since I wasn t a Marriott Rewards Member I was bumped.
Their idea of consideration was to move my reservation to a Best Western 20 minutes further away from my ultimate destination. When I told them that there was a hotel closer to where I needed to be for an additional $150 a night, and that I d rather stay there if they could cover the difference... Their response was - Are you a Marriott Rewards Member?

New and clean. Convenient location. Excellent front desk service. Mediocre breakfast.

Friendly service, great breakfast included in the price and 5 minutes walk to Dedham Corp Center train station.

Marriott Corporate and Fairfield Inn by Marriott Boston Dedham think I should be happy to receive 40K points for such experience. They say with 40K points, I can stay 2 nights in this hotel. They also mentioned that I would have costed me $518 dollars to purchase those points. Here is my experience on Fairfield Inn by Marriott Boston Dedham. I am not sure if a hotel in this condition should be in operations nor charge any customers. What would you have done? I couldn't move to other hotels as hotels in Boston region was full due to graduations..

1. Room type I had purchase was not available even thought I had the reservation for 2 months.
2. Even the smaller room we were put in wasn t ready at the time as we checked in.
3. When we finally went into the room, there was a spider hanging over the bed.
4. On the same day, I saw a centipede come out from the crack of the tile in the bathroom and wondered around, when I screamed it went back into the crack. Without knowing what to do(didn t want it to come out again), I caulked the crack with toothpaste! When I told the front desk, they told me it was only centipede which is not harmful to humans.. No other room available.
5. This roller bed isn't a bed. Imagine the spring box from the mattress store, that was it. I had to request 5 blankets so my kid can even lay down. I had told the front desk, they said they know it is bad but hotel leadership doesn t do anything. They don t even know such bad condition thing exist as roller bed. One of hotel worker even said she hurt her back sleeping on one of those roller beds. 6. Front desk employees work as delivering towels, sheets, checking if the rooms are ready Any requests to front desk had to be repeated at least 3 times as communication is not happening. (roller bed to move to different room next night, didn t happen, sheet were missing in the room for sofa bed, didn t come until I went to front desk to get it)

Marriott should be ashamed to have their brand on this property! This property is old, tired, room smells musty., decor is cheap, and antiquated This is a $69 per night room AT BEST. I just checked in and if I wasn't so damn tired, I'd be looking for another hotel instead of writing this dead accurate review. What a dump!! Oh and I forgot to mention, an employee here swiped my credit card number and tried to charge season tickets to the Bruins among other things!

I stayed here for 9 weeks on 3 occasions. I agree the hotel looks dated. No bed bugs spotted. Walking distance to some great shops and food. The staff is super friendly. Bonus: there is a restaurant right next door if you are lazy like I am!!!

My manager has often times stayed here when in town. Never any crazy complaints. Seems like a standard marriott.

Breakfast was good, staff was nice and the room was clean, however, the bathroom was not all that clean. Looked like someone had used the toilet and it was never cleaned between room uses.

I would just say that this hotel does not live up to the Marriott nam3.

Considering I'm traveling to visit with my daughter in the middle of a world pandemic to one of the hardest hit states in the US, my experience was wonderful. Very clean, easy check-in and friendly staff. Definitely will return.

It is excellent, very good service, the room excellent. The restaurant offers a varied and rich breakfast.

Perfect distance between Boston and Foxborough. Location right next to Legacy Place is the best part about it.

I was not happy i was sorry that i book with this fairfield inn by marriott it was misleading they need to take the Marriott name off.the room were not even seal as been cleean ,skin was block water too 10 minutes to run slip matt should be not stick to tub ,this hotel should be a motel.

Clean hotel nice staff except front office were not friendly

Staff very standoffish. Non accommodating for allergies. Broken elevator buttons. We're very nasty to minor who had allergy issue. Sheets with stains. Maid barged in while a minor was changing. Manager didn't care.

Nice comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Recommended.

Breakfast is provided so that is convenient. Nothing special about the rooms. If you need a place to sleep and shower, this is the place.

I don't have much to say about my stay here, the rooms were clean and adequate, no real problems to report which is itself a good thing these days

Amazing rooms, as well as the beds. Only problem was the wifi, but moving to the lobby/other rooms made the internet accessible.

Was greeted by Mike after a rough time getting to Fairfield Inn from the airport -- very cold and snowy night. He was kind and extremely helpful in getting me prepared for when and where I needed to get to the next day. Room was relatively large and very comfortable. Breakfasts were high quality with a good selection of healthy and not so-healthy options depending on preferences. Shower head took a little negotiating. I would highly recommend and would go back.

This is an old hotel that is straight from the 80's and really hasn't been updated since then. Bathrooms are small. The breakfast was decent and the staff friendly. I wouldn't go here if you have a family you need to have in one room or adjoining rooms (too small and not adjoined). I did enjoy the restaurant/bar right in the hotel.

Relatively low price. Convenient to travel by train to downtown. Good morning than I thought. Convenient for shopping malls and restaurants nearby.

The customer service here is amazing! Someone I care about had to travel unexpectedly for work and cancel prior arranged plans with me. We were both pretty bummed out but being the person I am, I aim to go above and beyond for those I care for. In all my efforts to cheer him up I called the hotel asking for an email I can send a letter to so it can be there upon his arrival. They were more than happy to do this for me.

I know it sounds silly but little random acts of kindness mean more to some people than you would expect!

Breakfast was good. Close to the train that takes you to Gillette.

Small but clean.. the only complaints are that the ice maker on 3rd flood not working, then the room phone wasnt working

Good looking carpet/paint in rooms. Hallways need updated walls.(color doesn't match carpet color) Hall Carpet has bright colors. Outdoor pool closed for season. Exercise room has treadmills and eclipse machines, no bikes. Good wash/dry machines/But bring a credit card, no cash.
One bedroom room has fridge, micro, sink, coffee. Comfy couch. Bed sleeps nice. Choice of hard/soft pillows. Clean, lots of elbow room. Staff is always pleasant, helpful. Breakfast is well maintained. Different Fresh fruit options every day. Both whole and cut up. Eggs same options for 2 weeks, but different meat choices every day. Organic Blue Agave syrup for waffles was a nice surprise. I would return.

It was great. Service rep who checked me in was clearly at the end of a shift at 1 am but still managed to be courteous with me.

The customer service was great, even at 2:00 in the morning. Astheticly there are some issues, but they are in the process of doing some renovations.

i came there at 3 am after long day driving the guy at the front desk didn't know how to work the computer so it took 1/2 hr to get room ok... after he give us the room keys and we go to the room we open the door and there is people over there sleeping.
avoid getting there. the room smelled.

I m calling health department because there are bed bugs in this hotel. I stayed there last week and I have marks in my body and itching like crazy: both my husband and I. Please share this message so they can fix that issue

A little dated but is conveniently located by major shopping centers. Free breakfast was decent.

Rooms are tiny ..you hardly have space to move around and plumbing is rusty in the washroom .

They are currently renovating. I could hear my neighbors at 230 am in the Morning clear as day as they went in and out of the room. So I do not know if they intend to replace the door as they continue renovations. Other than that room is clean. Friendly service. I do not understand why it is a requirement to leave all lights on so when you are first entering the room it is a hot sunny day. Other than that it was great ^,^

Good - very quiet when we were there, towels were really nice. Not so good - toilet was hilarious, right against the bathroom wall, older place but an effort is being made to update. Not too bad but not up to Marriott standards.

We stayed for one night but the hotel was more than adequate for that. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming.
